The offense deepens. "Pakistan protests over Islam film," from the BBC:
Pakistan has summoned the Dutch ambassador in Islamabad to lodge a protest over a controversial film on Islam, Fitna, published online. The 15-minute film by Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders sets verses from the Koran against a background of violent images from terror attacks.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said the film was defamatory and "deeply offended" Muslim sentiments.
Did Pakistan's Foreign Ministry ever say that about 9/11? 7/7? The Madrid train bombings? Any act of Islamic terror?

Precisely.
It's not like we're looking at new footage here people. Time for these clowns to take a good long look in the mirror and be held accountable for their actions.

It would be a good opportunity for the Dutch Ambassador to demand receipt of bin Laden's head on a platter from the Pakistani foreign minister, wot?

How interesting that Muslim leaders are not interested in banning Islam-perpetrated acts of violence, but merely in banning re-creations of them on film.
Why would the act of re-creating Islamic acts of terror be LESS offensive than the actual acts of terrorism themselves?

The dutch ambassador needs to tell Pakistan that they'll apologize as soon as Pakistan gives back the foreign aid and takes all their muslim friends from Dutch society back. Until then, bugger off.
Of course we know that the ambassador will apologize and blame it on an out of control member of parliament and then offer them more money. Whimps.

The truth hurts, so they want to to sue for defamation. For what damages?? An arm and a leg and a head?
Truth is an absolute defense to a defamation claim. Would that not be a spectaculr event? A trial about defamation and the truth about Ismalofacism. Imagine the witnesses and testimony.
The problem would be getting the plaintiff's witnesses to answer questions.
Montjoie!

Al-Jazeera news feeds and terrorist videos are worst then Fitna and the muslims gobble it up.
We never hear any condemnation from muslims or Rights groups over the release of these videos by muslims.
And factually, almost all of the video, press, stills, and pictures have all been on the news, all of it is MSM.
I am encouraging every person I know to watch it so that they see what all of the ruckess is/has been/will be about and not just get it from the news or the coffee pot at work.
P.S. Do you think the King of Saudi Arabia still wants 'interfaith dialogue'?

Ask your local pastor, and/or church to show this video or to encourage the viewing of this video to the congregation.

Freespeech,
Thanks for the tip, the download worked fine.
Slightly O/T, the BBC has an illustration of the effect of certain Koranic verses on a population:
ie, do not take unbelievers as friends. Contrast the reception given to infidel troops by Afghanis to that given to Arab Muslim soldiers in this report:-

The protests of and by the people who are called the unbelievers, and the infidels are the ones that need to be heard and not the hatful rantings that come from Islam and their clerics,Imans, and Sheikes.
It is time to stop appeasing these Muslims who adhere to this aggressive ideology that respects no one and in many cases not even fellow Muslims. It is time to stop ignoring the hate they spew, and the antisemitism they spew out everyday.
We cannot bank on the moderate Muslim because they remain silent in the face of it all.
This past monday I listened to the Michael Savage show as he talked to a Canadian Muslim who said that about one third of the Muslims in his community where hatefull against the country they live in and that all the moderate Muslims were afraid to stand up against them in the community and in the mosques.
So where does that really leave us when it comes to the moderates and defending our constitution freedom?

The Dutch ambassador needs to take the next flight back to the Netherlands, and the Dutch government, while taking a break from denouncing Wilders, need to summon the Pakistan ambassador and expel him for AQ Khan's stealing of nuclear technology from the Netherlands.
Not that it's likely to hapen, but it would be good if it did.

Oh, the horror............PR for the jihadists in Pakistan. If the actions of infidels bother the Pakistani government that much, they could always refuse the foreign aid they keep getting.

Instead of calling in the Dutch ambassador, how about calling in the hate preaching imams.
It is, after all, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. So they should have some control over their religious fanatics.
Then I would like to see a public apology and compensations for the years of support of the Taliban in Afghanistan, support that eventually lead to all this shit hitting the fan since 9/11.
And lastly, Pakistan should call in their brothers that like to show pictures of the Quran in the one and an automatic weapon or a severed head in the other. Now that is not just associating one verse with hideous violence but the whole thing - can't say they are quoting out of context though.

As the film in no way attempted to indict Pakistan particularly, what possible motive would Pakistan have to call the ambassador for a sit down?
Once again it is proven that Islam is also a political system and that there is no separation of Church and State in Islam!
