LiveLeak caves to death threats, removes Fitna

From our "Say Islam Is A Religion of Peace, Or We'll Kill You" Department comes this: click on the old Fitna link for the official LiveLeak statement.

And score another victory for thuggery and violent intimidation, and another defeat for freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and free inquiry.

Meanwhile, if anyone has, or can tell me where to get, the actual film, I will put it up again here, and the jihadist thugs can do what they're going to do, but I will not submit.

And that's the reason I downloaded it.

How long it will be there, who knows.

it made it to youtube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCrCsTMokTU

or just search there for 'Fitna'

"Note: Due to high traffic and DDOS attacks the site may be unusually slow. We're working on resolving these issues...thanks for your patience."

This is written in red in liveleak, on top of every page.

It seems muslims were really angry!

Robert, it is still here.

AllahPundit downloaded the actual file. If you can get it from him in addition to putting it up to view, put it up so we can download it and put it up as many places as we can. Or it appears Stinkyinfidel downloaded it too; I could not figure out how to download it

Posted by: Don Singleton [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:37 PM

Robert,

Michelle Malkin just mentioned this on her site:

Simply type "fitna torrent" into Google. The film is available for download in hundreds of places.

Posted by: PosthumousLuger [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:38 PM

...and still up on Google Video...

It is available in many places now. The loss of LiveLeak will be a major annoyance for the embedded views on a gazillion blogs, but the movie itself is available elsewhere to a confusing extent.

A list of alternative sites is posted at Gates of Vienna, and several versions subtitled into various European languages are out already.

The BitTorrent links are a great way to download it. No central server to take off the net, just a lot of citizens keeping it available.

It's out. They can't kill it, merely embarrass themselves by trying.

Posted by: Henrik [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:39 PM

I've downloaded this 51.8MB file just in case, but it's here on Google Video as well

Robert,

Suggestion - host it right here, instead of linking to LiveLeak, YouTube or Google Video

Posted by: Infidel Pride [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:39 PM

yes, please put the actual file up somewhere

Posted by: blackspot [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:41 PM

On YouTube, any Fitna search gives one this note:

This video or group may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube's user community.
To view this video or group, please verify you are 18 or older by logging in or signing up.
Of course, we all know how difficult it is for under-18s to open a YouTube account while lying about their age.

Brilliant!!!

Just checked out liveleak, read their disclaimer about threats to their staff.

Yep, islamofacists will use every tool at their disposal to bury the facts , we know that. What a great religion it must be that threatens death to those who may differ.

Posted by: gymgal [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:42 PM

I also downloaded it and have been disseminating it.

Itimidation and thuggery win again, did the West really win the second world war and the cold war? At present their only defence seems to be a doormat with Welcome written on it!

Looking at comments in the paper the ignorance shown when people say war is all religion's fault. Without thinking about WW1, WW2, the cold war and the number of people who died under the atheistic communist regimes. What do they teach in schools?

Better repeat that more people died in wars in the 20th century which were not in the strictest sense 'religious'!

What about the crusades? Did you know that is why they have those metal detectors in airports, to screen out those knights in armour riding their horses. Difficult to spot those crusader knights in armour riding horses so easy to slip through.

Gone now. When I reloaded the page, nothing but diagonal lines. Damn.

Posted by: interestinconundrum [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:43 PM

Downloading it from Google Video is simple. From YouTube, one needs to copy the link to keepvid.com, and then download it and read it as an .FLV file. The current version of RealPlayer reads FLVs

Posted by: Infidel Pride [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 5:44 PM

Robert:
I d-loaded the whole movie y-day in .FLV format. Almost 38MB in size. I'm happy to send to any email address you provide using yousendit.com.
Please keep up the good fight. Many of us are as angry as you that LiveLeak caved to these terrorist threats!

LiveLeak did its job by getting the film on the internet, once its on the internet it can't be stopped. FITNA has already gone viral and is currently available at youtube, google or just check torrents. I just downloaded the film and intend to share it with whoever I wish for many years to come. The violent reaction of Muslims to FITNA has also proven Wilder's point about Islam and the Koran.

Just wondering.

Ah, Robert, you must be misunderstanding the misunderstanders, since we're assured by the ABC News site that:

Uproar Over Anti-Islam Film Falls Flat

Why don't I believe this is over? Oh yea, survival instinct.

And the subtitle for this piece of journalistic excellence:

Quran Expert Interviewed by ABC News Reveals the Meanings Behind the Quranic Verses in the Film

Man, I feel better already.

Checkout the Al-Hayek interpretation of the Koran. Now, if he can only get Muslims to believe it....

The release of Fitna achieved it's purpose. It is a good little film. But, it is only a very small part of the arsenal of truth about Islam that is spreading like wildfire across the world. Books written by Robert Spencer, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Mark Steyn, Obsession - the movie, Islam - What the West Needs to Know (DVD) by Gregory M. Davis and Bryan Daly all come to mind. The Internet offers unlimited potential for spreading the truth about Islam.

Tragically, governments who submit to Islam will only be destroyed by Islam. So, needless to say, don't depend upon a government for protection from Islam.

Good-bye and farewell, Europe.

Our grandfathers came here long ago from your shores, yet their sons returned again and saved you from the horrors of Nazi Germany. They fought and died on the beaches of Normandy and throughout your continent to drive your tormentors and oppressors back to whence they came.

This time we will not be able to save you, for you have not even the courage to show a movie that dares expose your next master - The World Of Islam and Sharia.

You have grown weak in the face of bullying threats and violence. You believe that acquiescence to this new tyranny will save you - Nay, in your submission you are doomed to live tethered to your yolk as your Muslim subjugators stand over you and take your property, your money and your women from you.

Nelson, Churchill, Charles Martel - they would all be ashamed to see you now, cowering before your new masters.

Good-bye, Europe. Farewell.

Posted by: INFIDELATLARGE [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:14 PM

Such a shame.

As an employer myself, I can understand Live Leak's decision. I have no right to insist my employees risk their lives for my decisions or actions.

However, if we each do not soon understand resistance to islamic imperialism is not "someone else's fight", but an individual, personal imperative, and act upon that understanding, we will one day each find our selves (or our progeny) alone, with the awful realization our death is the only resistance possible.

The jihadists believe they can conquer the west and rule the world for Allah. They believe we will not fight, and every time some institution, some politician, some company, some governmentleader, some individual, cries "mercy" and capitulates to their threats of violence their belief is proven valid.

So the jihadis advance one step at a time, one small victory, not of violence but the mere threat of violence, again and again - until a whimper is their only opposition.

It is time we each recognize our western culture and its concept of sovereign man with inherent rights, free will, free speech, the right to question, the right to ask - anything about anything, the right to live our lives as we wish, without coercion or threat of coercion from anyone,is of supreme value. A value worthy of the most fierce defense.

The jihadis threaten violence only because it works. When it no longer works,it will be the beginning of their end.

Never give in! Never submit! Never forget!

Nomoors

Posted by: Nomoors [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:15 PM

This is shameful. Submitting to thuggery will only serve to embolden the thugs whose sole intention is to destroy us whatever we do. We might as well stand and fight for what we believe in or we shall all go under

Posted by: LondonBorn&Bred [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:20 PM

Nomoors,

Yup, I'd say you just about covered it. It's too bad that we as a civilization are unwilling to mount the "most fierce defense" verbally now, as it could negate the need to mount a fierce physical offense tomorrow.

Posted by: RalphInfidel [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:25 PM

Muslims cannot stop Fitna from being seen. If it gets removed from one place, it'll just pop up another dozen. Once media is on the internet, it has a life of it's own; a life that Muslims can never extinguish.

Posted by: Rogster [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:40 PM

tanstaafl,

Yup, that's the one...

On Topic:

What is it with Americans these days? Our Forefathers fought and died so that we could enjoy those freedoms guaranteed to us in the Constitution...

And, now Liveleak and others are buckling under the threat of retaliation by those who seek to destroy and censor Free Speech?

I thought Freedom was worth dying for... Evidently, I was wrong...

For the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of my fellow countrymen...

The Islamonazis desired to kill us before Fitna, and they will still want to kill us after removing Fitna...

Make no mistake about it, LiveLeak's kowtowing has only emboldened the Islamonazis and hastened our own destruction.

I am sure our Forefathers are vehemently tossing and turning over in their graves knowing that they gave their lives for naught...

Freedom isn't free. It's time to stop all this lip -service and take a stand!!!

Posted by: bigcatgirl13106 [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:50 PM

"LiveLeak caves to death threats, removes Fitna"

And to think that generations of Americans fought, many of them dying, to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank God there weren't any liveleak people around in world war two. Hitler and Tojo would have won with a threatening E-mail.

This is great. It just helps make unaware people more aware. When they see that it's been censored, it peaks their attention and makes them THINK.
Maybe this was on purpose? If it was, it's brilliant.

Posted by: loridoc [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:52 PM

Well, I know one person who will be happy. Kurt Westergaard, the artist who drew bomb-turban-mo, has been trying to get an injunction against the Danish sites linking to LiveLeak because Wilders has used his drawing without permission. He is probably very impressed with the efficiency of his new allies. Only a fool would wait until Monday to get a court to issue an injunction, when thugs can get the work done right away.

Posted by: Vagn Henning [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:55 PM

I think LiveLeak did OK. They accepted to do what many had refused, and we got the 'Big Bang' effect in Mainstream Media. It was good.

There are more battles to fight, but this one did well. Much more awareness than I expected just a few months ago.

Time to prepare for the next battle. Will be interesting where it will take place. Am hoping we'll get the opportunity to kick some spineless politicians this time.

Posted by: Henrik [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 6:59 PM

At my place of employment the radio is usually tuned into the local NPR outlet. They mentioned the release of the film Fitna, the story was spun, what is it with the Dutch and Muslims? They mentioned Pym Fortuyn who they were careful to note was not assasinated by a Mahometan.

Of course Mr Wilders was labelled right wing, but the funniest thing to me, inadvertantly funny, was that the person who reviewed the film called it crude for its violent images, then the program went on to another segment extolling the artistry of the death scene in Bonnie and Clyde.

Posted by: stickman [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 28, 2008 7:00 PM

From LiveLeak's statement, it sounds like they had a "live leak" of personal information about their staff. I can't blame them for their decision and am grateful they got the ball rolling.

Thanks to Darcey Jerrom for the link...nice site.

Let me get this straight - a site featuring a movie claiming that Islam is violent and intolerant is forced to back down after intolerant Muslims threaten violence?

Point proved, surely?

The funny thing is it doesn't matter. Given that the video shows a "LiveLink" at the beginning, it will be too difficult for the comon muslim to realize Livelink is no longer involved. So they're gonna get the rage anyway.

Not surprising of course but as always, Allah, the Almighty Myth was unable to circumvent even the first creative glimmers of Fitna...yet so many flesh and blood Islamic puppets are lusting to do their imaginary gods "wet work". Imaginary spooks are for kids, regarding the adults, insanity.

Submit to some desert thugs imaginary friend? NEVER! Cave to violent Islamic intentions? I'd rather drag the very idea of Allahs existence through acid.

If the film is deleted from liveleak.com (due to threats from islamofascists), simply search for it on bit-torrent. There is a LARGE variety of version available there. I will continue to share the copies on my bit-torrent client in perpetuity.

Just use this simple google query to find it:

http://www.google.com/search?q=fitna+torrent

This film will never die...
