Seriously though, this speaks volumes as to the clash in world views (and the essence of this struggle): "If two Algerians were arrested at a roadblock in England and placed in custody because they carry a dozen specimen of the Quran, one could imagine the consequences: Demonstrations from Nouakchott as far as Islamabad, the burning of flags, unanimous condemnation, the anger of [Religious Affairs Minister] Ghoulamullah."

Any quarantine would have to be directed at muslims, not islam. It is impossible to stop an idea but not so impossible to isolate it's adherants. In fact, I think it is a sterling idea. Lets save our muslims from the fate of watering down their precious faith with western civilization..ban immigration of muslims in order to save islam....death to immigration..death to immigration..well you get the idea.

Now here's another Islamic country, like Saudi Arabia, that practices religious discrimination. Yet, the PA claims that Israel is the only country to have a state-religious identification, using that lie to justify their refusal to recognize Israel, a country with far more religious freedom that in any of the Islamic gulags.

Yes I think so.
I read that 6 million Muslims globally per annum leave the faith, many to be Christians. There is a growing Christian movement in Iran.

They only just did the Catholic Church. When combined, the Christian faith, meaning all the churches is still the largest of faiths.
As for the Muslim growth, it is because of the birth rates and the fact that Muslim men are allowed up to 4 wives.

I think it is time for the modern world to show what it thinks of the Islamic world. We no longer tolerate slavery (haven't done so for many decades) we certainly should no longer tolerate religious oppression against non-Muslims in Muslim countries.

Evangelism looks like terrorism to historically Islamic Muslims because it threatens one of the central tenets that underlies Islamic supremacy, that Islam is the final and definitive revelation of God's will. It is inconceivable to people who take that seriously that a person could turn away from Islam and embrace an earlier and, as they view it, imperfectly transmitted revelation.
So it's a one-way street. Anything that promotes Islamic supremacy is permissable, and anything that threatens it is forbidden.

I just read an article on Foxnews online, where they talk about how everyone on the planet is pissed off about Fitna. How it's being condemned by all the worlds leaders,(Morons...) and of course all the Muslims.
They mention that LiveLeak removed the video after a day or so. That's all. No reason given. One might think that LiveLeak saw the light and did the "right thing."
No mention is made of the fact that it was removed because of the numerous death threats against their employees and family members from all the misunderstanders of Islam.
No mention of the death threats against LiveLeaks employees and family if the flick wasn't removed. No mention of the fact that this is exactly the kind of behavior that Fitna highlights!

Sadly, there are academics and politicians in in America who would unhesitatingly endorse Minister Ghoulamullah's irrational statement.
In their twighlight existence Pat Robertson is equalvalent to an Islamic suicide bomber, and no argument will change their minds.
It's no mystery as to why Mr. Ghoulamullah can't think straight. He was born and raised in a faith that glorifies croocked thinking, but One can only wonder why The preposterous is so attractive to the Western intellectual class.

The sad part is that many people *here* feel that way. Oh, they may not say it quite that openly. But I know many folks who despise Christianity, and yet it's like pulling teeth trying to get them to say *one word* about Islam - despite the neverending threats, violence and bloodshed.

We've seen fascism go by,the threat of nuclear destruction from the Cold War, but nothing as dangerous as this thing called ISLAM.
When your getting government ministers like Ghoulish-mullah behaving like its a tit for tat childish game, instead of accepting the realities and dangers of this out of control cult-like religion; then how on earth are we ever going to seriously address their madness.

By the way, the complete Bible will soon be available in Dari. Until now, only the New Testament has been available in the Afghan Dari dialect.

Track down missing children from schools taken overseas for forced arranged marriages offer them embassadorial rescues from the countries and bring them all home.Track the families down and take legal action to have them declared abducted from the countries, have the children found where they were taken. Fine the families 250,000 dollars for each child treated this way.
Seize their homes and assets to pay the fines.
Get REAL. Get insistent.
Stop economic trade with all muslim countries, refuse any contact with islamic governments. No more embassies in muslim countries, no more foreign aid.

Those wicked, wicked Christians, carrying BIBLES about in public - shock! horrors! , were breaking the Rules for Dhimmis, as per this section of the notorious Pact of Omar:
"We [Christians in a Muslim country] will...
refrain from erecting crosses on the outside of our churches
AND DEMONSTRATING THEM AND OUR BOOKS IN PUBLIC IN MUSLIM FAIRWAYS AND MARKETS [my emphasis added]."
In a different version:
"We shall not display our crosses OR OUR BOOKS in the roads or markets of the Muslims."
On Hamas' watch, last year, in the jihadi fortress/ armed camp that is Gaza, the "Palestinian" Arab Baptist Christian, Rami Ayyad, was murdered by jihadi thugs. He had been running a Christian (Bible Society) bookshop in Gaza City. One must assume that his murderers, too, were well aware of that passage in the Rules for Dhimmis, which forbids dhimmi Christians to display their books in a Muslim market.
And surprise, surprise, Hamas has done ZERO, so far as I know, to find the murderers. I am not holding my breath. I am sure they know exactly whodunit, and they approve.
