Iranian cleric: Zionists behind Qur'an film!

This was inevitable, wasn't it?

And it also may be a clue as to how Muslims can become indignant about a film that quotes the Qur'an and shows Muslims quoting the Qur'an: the violent verses quoted aren't really in there, you see. Of course, you will find them if you open any copy of the Qur'an, but that's because the Zionists cast them into the Qur'an by means of their black arts.

I should know. After all, I'm a practitioner.

"Iran cleric says Israel behind anti-Islam Dutch film," from AFP (thanks to Morgaan Sinclair):

TEHRAN (AFP) — Israel and unidentified "oppressive powers" are behind the production of an anti-Islamic film by right-wing Dutch MP Geert Wilders, a prominent conservative Iranian cleric claimed on Friday.

"Behind these satanic acts can be found the oppressive powers and the Zionist regime," Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said during a Friday prayer sermon in the capital broadcast by state radio.

"This poor Dutch deputy has made 40 trips to Israel over the past 25 years," Khatami said. "He has himself said he is close to (Israeli President) Shimon Peres and (Prime Minister) Ehud Olmert.

"We see the hand of the Zionist regime behind these satanic acts and we cry 'death to Israel,'" he added.

The 17-minute-long film "Fitna" features shocking imagery of the attacks on New York in 2001 and Madrid in 2004 combined with quotes from the Koran, Islam's holy book, and has sparked outrage in some Muslim countries.

You'll note that AFP, in this paragraph, implies that the quotes from the Qur'an are gratuitously attached to the acts of violence. The fact that the film shows Muslims exhorting others to acts of violence by reference to the Qur'an is not mentioned.

Oh come on, people. You KNEW it was coming!

Since LOGIC and TRUTH have prevailed against them and are contained in Fitna, all that's left is to assert Zionist Oogah-Boogah.

P.S. Robert's still the coolest looking Vader, though! ;)

Ol' Scratch must be pretty busy as he seems to have had their 'prophet' Mohammed by the b___s from the very start.

O/T, but I got a reply back from Unilever, when I told them that as long as they dissed Geert, I'd boycott their stuff (note they didn't even use my name, WHICH I HAD TO SUBMIT IN ORDER TO YELL AT THEM VIA EMAIL) ...

Dear Unilever Consumer,

Unilever has a long and proud history of doing business across the world, with roots extending back over 100 years in Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Throughout this time Unilever has operated as a true Multi-local Multinational, and we strongly believe that the welfare of our business is dependent on the needs, and welfare of a wide cross section of local communities that live in over a 100 countries we operate in across the globe.

In keeping with these values that are enshrined in our Code of Business Principles, Unilever is against any form of discrimination in terms of ethnicity, religion, or belief system. Neither do we support any political party or political interest.

Therefore, the sentiments expressed in this film called Fitna in no-way reflect the views of Unilever, and the Company wholly disassociates itself from this film and its viewpoint.

Sincerely,
Your friends at Unilever

How can anyone defend the heinous actions taken by Muslims that are shown in this film? There is no defense. Just more backwards rationalization by Muslims for the evil cause of Islam.

"Iran cleric says Israel behind anti-Islam Dutch film,"

Yeah, and it was also a sneaky Zionist who twirled a shinny object in front of Mo’s eyes so that he thought it was Gabriel telling him to honor Allāt, al-'Uzzā and Manāt in the Koran!

We should be selling these imbeciles bridges and swamplands!

If these imams don't spend Friday sermons keeping the faithful seething by blaming the evil joos and ameircans, their followers may calm down long enough to see what is really causing the misery in their lives.

As soon as a bunch of muslims find out it's islam that is making them miserable while the imams are living in caves of luxury they'll rebel. And since murder and mayhem is the only way they know to express themselves, it'll be a bloodbath bigger than normal.

What a nice letter you got from 'your friends at Unilever', Lori!
I liked the last bit:

"Therefore, the sentiments expressed in this film called Fitna in no-way reflect the views of Unilever, and the Company wholly disassociates itself from this film and its viewpoint.

Sincerely,
Your friends at Unilever"

Isn't it nice to see that they disassociate themselves from muslim violence, and from the viewpoints expressed by muslims in that film ... ahem, did they actually watch it?
Methinks not ...

As for Ayatollah Khatami - nice, isn't it, to hear from a muslim that its all not true, that all that violence was due to the zionists ...

They must think our brains are so softened up that we'll swallow anything they declare. (Mind, I bet some lefties out there will probably agree with him.)

On the other hand - I can't help but feel that FITNA hit them right where it hurt, their excuses are very feeble indeed.
Whats more, I suspect that too many of their people have seen the film now and know that they are being told porkies ...

"This poor Dutch deputy has made 40 trips to Israel over the past 25 years," Khatami said.

HaHa!!! He called it "Israel"!! I'll bet they'll jump all over him for doing that!

When I was a kid we would counter each others cuts and barbs with, "I know you are." In these grotesque children's mind everyone but themselves are at fault.

The more I hear anything from them the more I am convinced that their lies are a perfect reflection of their heart. It is pretty dark but the truth is simple when you keep the POV oriented correctly.

The "oppressive powers" are no one but themselves. They are everything in spades what the foist upon the Jews. Their statements are racist and if acted upon would genocide of the first order.

"We see the hand of Islam behind these satanic acts and we cry 'death to Allah's followers,'" he added.

That is reality.

Oh, now I remember! That guy is Gabe Wilderstein. We went to Hebrew school together. I thought he looked familiar but the dyed hair fooled me for a while. Thanks for straightening that out Khatami.

And by the way AP he is a very left wing guy.

Truth be told, Fitna was produced by C.A.I.R. in order to discredit all us Islamophobes here at Jihad Watch.

Problem is, C.A.I.R. made it too darn factual.

Too bad that sarcasm doesn’t exist in Islam.

They should hire Jackie Mason. He could teach them a thing or two.

"We see the hand of the Zionist regime behind these satanic acts and we cry 'death to Israel,'" he added.

That's it! It was the jooos! And of course, now we HAVE to kill them. (Sarc)

Geez. I no longer think that youtube video of achmed the dead terrorist is funny. "I kill you"

Those pesky Zionists. They cause Athletes Foot, Rain in July, and Autism too.

Here is how Muslims make decisions when something bad happens:

Mr. Spencer:

Maybe I asked you this before, but I don't exactly remember--If we set you up as cult leader and idol of shirk, does any of that evil Zionist black arts mojo rub off onto us? Inquiring minds want to know.

Mad hattery. Sheer mad hattery.

This is what the inimitable Martha Gellhorn said, as she came away from yet another of what she called 'mad hatter conversations' with 'Palestinian' Arabs (most of them Muslims):

"To listen to these conversations is work for a psychiatrist, not a journalist."

Let's rephrase a little, so as to apply to Mr Khatami and AFP's account of his 'sermon':

"To analyse such 'sermons' is work for a psychiatrist, not a journalist".
