Revealed: Secret Iranian site for launching long-range inner spiritual struggle

Capable of reaching targets in Europe.

"Spy photos reveal 'secret launch site' for Iran's long-range missiles," from the TimesOnline (thanks to JE):

The secret site where Iran is suspected of developing long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching targets in Europe has been uncovered by new satellite photographs.

The imagery has pinpointed the facility from where the Iranians launched their Kavoshgar 1 “research rocket” on February 4, claiming that it was in connection with their space programme.

Analysis of the photographs taken by the Digital Globe QuickBird satellite four days after the launch has revealed a number of intriguing features that indicate to experts that it is the same site where Iran is focusing its efforts on developing a ballistic missile with a range of about 6,000km (4,000 miles).

A previously unknown missile location, the site, about 230km southeast of Tehran, and the link with Iran's long-range programme, was revealed by Jane's Intelligence Review after a study of the imagery by a former Iraq weapons inspector. A close examination of the photographs has indicated that the Iranians are following the same path as North Korea, pursuing a space programme that enables Tehran to acquire expertise in long-range missile technology.

Geoffrey Forden, a research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said that there was a recently constructed building on the site, about 40 metres in length, which was similar in form and size to the Taepodong long-range missile assembly facility in North Korea....

Is it any wonder there was unanimous approval of the European Missile Defense system at the recent NATO summit? I'll bet much of southern Russia is in range too, so it is not surprising we didn't hear much outrage from Putin afterwards. I hope the Iranians realize a launch against europe is something that can only happen once, followed by a world of hurt that will put them back to the stone age.

How much more proof does the world need that Iran is planning major destruction?

The US and its allies invaded the wrong country when they went into Iraq. Iran is the real threat here. They actually do have those ever-elusive WMDs.

People, can you make sense of this? "Sheep-like qualities in humans derived from religions"

Once again we see history repeating itself… the Western-Democracies teetering and tottering, appeasing some pipsqueak tyrant with the ability and intent to destroy civilization.

Yep, so true; Iran has been and is to this day, the malignancy which was allowed to metastasise when it should have been invaded instead of Iraq.
I
It is only a matter of time; Iran will catapult the world into a nuclear war… where it will stop no one knows. The spineless leadership of the West, once again, dares not yank its head from its anal cavity, which in the minds of Islam is a sign of weakness; they are right… obviously Ahmadinejad is a history buff!

I think we should build the Iranians a new wasteland on that site.. This would be easily done, don't you think?

ImNoDhimmi - I totally agree with you. We did invade the wrong country.

Not only when it comes to WMDs, but also when it comes to terrorism in general. Iraq at most was a regional bully. However, Iran has commited acts of terrorism as far away as from the Middle East as Argentina.

They're just "peaceful" nuclear weapons. It is the "religion of peace", don't you know. After the atomic bomb detonates and the fallout is over, things get real peaceful.

These are just rockets for their lunar project.

There are lunatics, after all.

I suspect the site was located within Minutes of Launch. A new add on to the target list. Something else for the UN to Ignore.

As I continue to say, with the greatest sincerity and belief in our ability to prevail....

"Kuffirs of the world, Unite!"
"Islam, abusing women and children since 622AD"

Well, it's no secret any more. I'm sure they will move the project. Probably they will fill the building with school children, to prevent a bombing attack...

Destroy it now Israel, for thine art the first target on the list.

When was it ever a secret? Iran has been calling for the downfall of the West ever since our 39th president decided Islam needed a leg up because it was holier and thus, better, than secularism. Right now, they're trying to reach Europe. What are the Russians giving their Persian allies? How long before they can launch an ICBM? Even if it's "decades away", time passes quickly. It's been three decades since the Iranian Revolution. Seems like yesterday. How many experts figured the revolution was a flash in the pan and would burn itself out quickly?

Maybe Jimmy could volunteer for Iran's first attempt to orbit a Dhimmi on their LongDong. You know, as a gesture of peace and international cooperation. Seems reasonable.... Dhimmis In Space! Huwahahahhahah

Iran needs to learn 3 simple letters that equal to any attack from it: IAF.

We don't necessarily need nukes to obliterate these kinds of sites.

Not so very long ago I heard the Russians had invented a simply amazingly enormous bomb using only conventional explosives - which, of course, cuts out the little problem of fallout blowback.

Perhaps Mother Russia could do the entire Infidel world a favour and do some 'testing' of these Monster Bombs, thus turning Iran's missile-launch sites into great big holes in the ground.

After all, so what if they have to blow up stuff they've sold to the Iranians? Presumably it's already been paid for. But surely they don't want their merchandise returned in the shape of Islamic nuclear bombs on Russian soil...

I understand 'Fitna' has been translated into Russian. One hopes that the Russian version is circulating briskly - one hopes, particularly, that it has made its way into the upper echelons of the Russian army, and into the duma, and into the hands of people like the survivors of the Beslan and Moscow jihad raids.

Indeed, Russia, and China, are the two countries that I would expect to have the means and the will to broadcast 'Fitna', suitably subtitled, on their national television.

In Russia one could broadcast, afterwards, the images from Beslan, and the accounts of the survivors. And then, perhaps, the legendary Reply from the Cossacks which was given to one of those insolent Muslim demands to 'convert, grovel, or we keeelll you!'

Has 'Islam: What the West Needs to Know' been translated into Russian? Retitled, perhaps, as 'What Non-Muslims Need to Know'?

"The secret site where Iran is suspected of developing long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching targets in Europe has been uncovered by new satellite photographs. "

Not to Worry, the site is just a power substation to help carry the power being enriched at their peaceful nuclear fuel producing plants, you know , the fuel to be used in producing electrical energy to serve the citizens of the Peaceful country of Iran..
