Fitzgerald: Mosques in the West

A Jihad Watch poster recently asked incredulously, “There's a mosque in The Hague?"

Yes, there is a mosque in The Hague. And all over Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, and in Paris and Marseilles and Lyons and Toulouse, in London and Manchester and Birmingham and Leeds, in Rome and in Milan, in Berlin and Hamburg and Frankfurt, and in thousands of other cities and even small towns all over Europe. The Saudis and other rich Arabs fund them, just as they pay for the land, and the construction, and the maintenance, of mosques all over this country, from Boston to sunny California. Most of the mosques in the Western world are not paid for by the locals, but by very rich foreign Muslims -- governments, institutions, individuals.

After all, not all of that ten trillion dollars in oil revenues that Muslim states have received since 1973 alone goes for arms purchases, and palaces for the boys, and wages for those millions of non-Muslim wage-slaves who keep Saudi Arabia and the smaller sheikdoms going, and gambling in London and Monte Carlo, and call girls (the Arabs especially contemptuous of the West for allowing "their women" to be bought and used in such a way, by their sworn enemies, the Arab Muslims), and endless shopping in the funfair-cum-brothel of Europe.

Occasionally local opposition can stop the building of a mosque, but not because the mosque has been paid for by sinister foreigners, nor because mosques are far more than merely religious establishments but politico-religious outposts of the Army of Islam, and inevitably, unless subject to constant round-the-clock monitoring, will tend to have khutbas based on the almost-unavoidable subject with which the Qur'an and Hadith are full: to wit, the permanent state of war that exists between Believers and Infidels, and the need for Muslims to work to remove all obstacles to the spread, and dominance, of Islam.

Western governments simply will not stop to examine, will not dare even to discuss, the nature, the meaning, the menace of Islam and Jihad. Those whose duty it is to protect us will continue to pretend that what goes on in mosques is as "religious" in nature as what goes on in churches or synagogues. But it isn't. Visits to mosques, or tapes of what goes on, or the testimony of those who have jettisoned Islam but can still recall what they heard (or if their faces are not recognized, enter mosques still) confirm that what goes on is dangerous to Infidels, to their legal and political institutions, to their physical security.

The national governments of the Western world have failed those whom they are supposed to protect. They have failed to exhibit any intelligent curiosity about Islam as a Total Belief-System, and the role of the mosques as a basis for Jihad -- that is, the "struggle" to promote Islam and remove all obstacles to its spread, and dominance. Yet local governments, or local officials, have been forced to change or cancel permits by aroused citizens, who have made their cases against this or that mosque on the basis of size -- the proposed mega-mosque in London appears to have been stopped -- rather than on the basis of the bristling and aggressive nature of these huge structures, their minarets rising like missiles (as Erdogan once famously said).

If more non-Muslims came to understand the texts and tenets and attitudes of Islam, they would not be so uninterested in the mosque-building that goes on, sometimes even with the aid of local governments (e.g., Mayor Menino encouraging the building of the Boston Mosque, and even agreeing to sell land far below the market price), but would move heaven and earth to stop as many such projects as possible, and what's more, to make sure that existing mosques and madrasas are monitored for the contents of what they preach (and what Muslims practice, when they are in a position to do so). The word "religion" keeps getting in the way, but greater knowledge would give Infidels the confidence not to be bamboozled or impressed by such a word, and determined not to be deterred in their opposition to mosques and madrasas. For the first is not simply, or mainly, a house of individual worship, but a center where a collectivist and aggressive Total Belief-System can more easily maintain or reinforce its hold over local Believers.

The West might win some battles here and there, but we are losing the war against islam spreading throughout the world. One day, it will be too late.

What non-muslims don't know is that muslism grab any land they claim by way of a mosque or a madrassa or even a 'kabr'. You see, deception plays a major role in Islam, the 'Religion of Peace': http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010917-11.html

There are already more mosques than churches in East London, Birmingham, Bradford etc.

And the tiny country of Holland already has 1 million Muslims.
In fact, Amsterdam and Rotterdam will be Muslim-majority cities by 2015, just 7 years away.

In a recent poll, 56% of Dutch said they regarded Muslim immigration as the biggest mistake in Dutch history.

But what are the politicians doing?

Well Geert Wilder’s film, Fitna was actually intended to be just the beginning of a debate on Dutch Government policy.

The Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende said

"The film equates Islam with violence, we reject this interpretation. The vast majority of Muslims reject extremism and violence and in fact the victims are often also Muslims.”

Well, if the victims are often Muslims then all the more reason to oppose the extremist, Islamist ideology if, that is, the Dutch Prime Minister is the humanitarian he claims to be and not a cowardly idiot.

Mein Kampf is banned in Holland. Why not extremist, Islamist ideology too?

just ask: "What has my Muslim neighbor done for my country lately?"

chances are that you probably already know the answer.

You see Muslims standing on the sides of roads here begging for donations to build more mosques here in Indonesia. No money from the Saudis for the heretics, I guess. And why help the already conquered when there is plenty of land and people in the rest of the world to be conquered and enslaved by the original (and on going)crusaders of Islam?

Most European nations colonized Africa and Asia in the 18th and 19th centuries. Islam had already spread to these continents centuries earlier.
Britain has a relaxed policy of immigration from former members of the Empire. Pakistanis come in droves. Did Holland have a similar policy with its own former colony of Indonesia? How many of the migration patterns in Europe reflect colonial history?
Most countries of eastern Europe, in the Soviet orbit for most of the 20th century, have smaller to non-existent Muslim communities. Yugoslavia and Albania are notable exceptions. Poland is almost entirely Catholic, but how long will that last under EU rules?

Islamic democracy-handbook from a British Mosque:

Islam & Voting
(…)
It has long been my position that any type of participation in democracy is a type of approval of that system. I have no doubt that democracy is antithetical to Islam. However, … This does not mean approval or acceptance of the ideal of secular democracy, but the intention is to use the means and avenues available to benefit Muslims and the communities we reside in.
(…)
No one should imagine that anyone who says that it is OK to vote is thereby expressing approval or support for kufr. It is done in the interests of the Muslims, not out of love for kufr...”
(…)
One should consult the people of knowledge and political acumen in their local areas before making a decision on whom to vote for. There are natural advantages and disadvantages to be found in all the parties which is why we have explained the principle of accepting the lesser of the two evils in such detail.

Not by the side of the road, The put obstacles "pos Amal" in the middle of the road to slow the traffic down, and in some instances, they can be a few hundred meters apart.

Not so far from me is one stretch of road less than a kilometer, where there are five of these "pos Amal". Each one has speachers/tanoys and they compete to drown out each other.

Every new mosque that rises in the West is just further evidence that it is Muslim demographics, not Muslim terror, that is the real threat to Western Civilization. And the laws of Western societies, as well as Western democracy, will protect and further all this unless Islam is seen for what it is: a supremacist, totalitarian ideology that will in no way reciprocate the generosity that has been extended to it by the West should it ever become the majority faith. If that dark day ever comes it will be the end of democracy and freedom in any Western country where this occurs. And right now most of the West is still asleep.

Islam & Voting

"Islamic democracy" is an oxymoron. So is "Islamic religion" an oxymoron, since it is a total religio-political system of total mind and body control, not a religion per se. Surprisingly, even the Bahai religion, which is a very mild form of Islam (heresy for Islamists) does not condone involvement in the democratic practice, except their own internal voting for representatives to the Universal House of Justice, for example. So democracy is not an Islamic idea, but rather antithetical to the idea that everything is spelled out by their book of Allah, the Koran, or the words of their 'manifestation of God' as the Prophet, and democratic man made laws are subordinate to that law, especially to Sharia law. All building of mosques in the West must cease and desist immediately, with severe restrictions on existing mosques for their political content. Islam is deeply ingrained in its political force, even in its mildest form.
Not a religion, the First Amendment does not apply to Islam.

Unfortunately the most likely scenario here can be read like a book: the multicultural mindset will continue to prevail until the evidence becomes overwhelming that something dangerous has been going on, and at that point it will dawn on the West that, not only did the jihad not cease in 1683, but we ourselves have been assisting it by putting the scimitar (so to speak) to our own heads.

And this, I fear, is something that cannot be stopped. In a civilization like ours, with a history of crime arising from intolerance behind it, it is impossible to sort out the moral dilemmas entailed on that consideration now.

Virtually anything, right up to defending ourselves against inimical ideologies, that seems to transgress the "orthodox" attitude (tolerate, tolerate, tolerate) is dismissed as unacceptable. That tolerance might be, as is everything else in human life, something calling for a little critical thought, a little responsible application, is never for a moment considered. With this attitude 60 years ago, the world might have refused to defend itself against Nazism, for fear of being "intolerant" toward it.

Tolerance is a virtue, but no virtue can be practised where there is no culture with sufficient belief in itself to safeguard its hard won values. In time, it seems, at least in cultures like the West where the possibility of free thought obtains, the balance becomes impossible to maintain: the demand becomes for one or the other. Allow yourself to be encroached on, refuse to critically estimate the ideology ranged against you, or you are committing the worst crime, the one that made your ancestors so evil - intolerance.

And at that point you realize how it works: feel superior all you like to those who do NOT question the wars and crimes of their ancestors, but the vigour, the drive, the belief that makes for victory, is theirs, not yours. They will defeat you.

Thanks, again, Hugh, for a great picec of writing.

I am always dumbfounded when I begin to think of what our Great American Press Corps has worked so hard to hide from us. That in itself is a crime worthy of some terrible punishment.

By turning a blind eye, concealing all that Islam intends and cowering in the face of implied or overtly threatened violence, our Press Corps is guilty by complicity as an accessory to the forces of Islam. I'm not saying they've planned or conspired with the jihadists - they've just gone along for the ride and not said anything to expose or stop them. That's complicity.

The so-called watchdog of government has grown its own political agenda and become a useful idiot, of which Lenin wrote and spoke, in the Islamization of the entire Western World.

I can only imagine what these pampered Marxist-indoctrinated products of the likes of Columbia University are going to do when it finally dawns on them that the free society they helped to destroy by protecting the Muslims' doctrines from public scrutiny has been replaced by one which demands their conversions to Islam, subjugation to Dhimmi status, or their deaths.

That'll be the day of reckoning for turning a blind eye to the real menace.

Thanks again, Hugh and Robert, for what you do.

The question is not" Name all the places where you can find a mosque
The question is" NAME A PLACE WITHOUT A MOSQUE?IF somebody can answer this question and give me a name of a midsize city in Europe or in the USA and Canada that does not have a mosque
PLEASE SEND IT TO ME I AM READY TO MOVE OVERTHERE.
I am so tired of those clowns

The Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende said

balkenende is absolutely right. In 1938 similar thinking equated Nazional-Socialism with violence, all while the vast majority of German people rejected extremism and violence, and most victims of violence in the Third Reich were Germans.

Therefore there is no threat in islam. balkenenders of all kinds will keep repeating this years after the sharia takes over.

God help us...

It is all bad, bad, bad in Europe. Gloom and doom! Wake up and start listening to the small cadre of intellectuals and politicians who are speaking out against this stuff. They are heroes of Western civilization and all live under constant threat of being killed by a Muslim.

The historical irony worth pointing out here is that Europe would do anything to have their pre-World War II Jewish minority back. Europe is far too tolerant of Islam, a toleration that was rarely extended to Jews who were accused of wanting to take over the world and spreading their degenerate religion. Now that we plainly see a group and their religion actually doing this, our response is toleration and burying our heads in the sand.

For Americans reading Jihad Watch, this is not a European problem ....

Even small cities in America have at least one mosque. In our small city, Hagerstown, MD, it is tucked away and many citizens are shocked to hear we even have one (newly refurbished).

Other cities have more than one. Boise, ID (yes Idaho!) has three.

So, who are all the Muslims using these mosques---mostly immigrants. The US government admits tens of thousands of Muslims annually many as refugees from places like Somalia, Bosnia, Iraq, Iran, etc. We will admit 12,000 Iraqis alone this year (only a small percentage will be Christians).

Once admitted in the refugee program they can bring extended family members. So, if your city is welcoming refugees you will grow a Muslim refugee community as they bring family members and others move (secondary migration) to your "welcoming" city.

I get so frustrated with all the philosophical yakking that goes on here---the handwringing over Europe when the writing is on our wall!

Please find some way in your own cities to raise the warning flag publically.

I agree with you. I remember few years ago Boise did not even have one mosque and the one who help build the first one is now back in the Emirates to look for more money and find a way to build more mosques around. He is an american citizen by marriage and can travel around the way he wants.
Bush is worse than any European leader. He is in bed with the enemy, he sent our boys to be killed and meanwhile he let the enemy flourish here.

Thanks to Alert
"The English translation is not as eloquent as the original Arabic, but let me quote from the Koran, itself: In the long run, evil in the extreme will be the end of those who do evil. For that they rejected the signs of Allah and held them up to ridicule'

This is a quote from Bush in front of Muslims leaders just after Sept 11 and I remember that breakfast at the White House because at the same time, the FBI had finally got a warrant to search the house of one of the famous breakfast guest and when they arrived at his home, his wife said he was having a meeting with the president
The FBI went back home and left the guy alone so he could go on with his speeches and fundraisings across America

It sounds like Bush read the Koran. It must have been the already revised version.

Whoever reads this speech again, is going to be rejoicing when Bush leaves office.
He will go as the worst president ever.

The Ara%bs are more than contemptuous; they are fully and utterly contemptuous… To them Western men are swine and effete homosexuals because they do not feel the slightest sense of jealously for their women, even the prostitutes, and more so for those gals clueless enough to fall for one of the studs of Allah. The Arab%s are ready to shed blood and suffer whatever consequences so that their wome%n will not be” mounted” by the infidels.

In Iraq, the Muslim interpreters made it a point to boost about their conquests with the “Christian girls” as to shame us, Middle Eastern Christians, whose women are easy wonton harlots… Of course, Mu%slim wo&men are chaste unassailable and inviolable. Their juvenile attempt at psychological warfare was ridicules, but I could not help feel angry at any American bimbo who would be seduced by those primitive Islam#ic triumphant fo$ols.

I, growing up in the same culture, though neither an Ar@b nor a Musl1m, do share their contempt of western w0men who date or marry Musl1ms and their families who are overjoyed with the Musl1m boyfriend or in-law. I believe, any infide#l female who willingly beds a Musl1m is a traitor, unless she is an STD-laden skank who gives them something infectious to take back home.

I do not care what you people call me for thinking that and posting in wrathful, contemptuous and even obscene language about it. The skanky behavior of many Western women is used to humiliate Christian men in Islamic countries and increases the likelihood that Christian women would suffer sexual assaults by Muslims growing up to believe that moral looseness is a tenet of Christianity.

Those Ladies who were livid with earlier posts have no idea where I come from and the fact that I still hear the taunts of Muslims besmirching innocent Egyptian Christian women on account of the obscene behavior of White women who visit Egypt each summer in search of dark studs.

We are in a war people… consorting with the enemy is treason which was once a capital offense when we last had sense and knew how to fight wars.
