Just a few months ago Omar bin Laden got a great deal of fawning publicity from the mainstream media for rejecting his father's methods. But we pointed out here that he was never even asked if he rejected his father's goals. And now it appears that he doesn't.
"Osama Bin Laden’s son Omar Ossama is banned from Britain," by David Brown in the Times (thanks to Cindy):
The son of Osama bin Laden has been banned from entering Britain to live with his new wife because of fears that his presence would cause “considerable public concern”.Officials have told Omar Ossama bin Laden that there is evidence that he is still loyal to his father, who is held responsible for the deaths of 52 innocent people in the London bombings of July 7, 2005.
Mr bin Laden, 27, is appealing against the refusal to grant him a visa and says that it is wrong to ban him from Britain on the basis of his parentage and inaccurate media reports about his beliefs.
He wants to live in Cheshire with his British wife, Zaina Alsabah bin Laden, 52, formerly known as Jane Felix-Browne. The couple were married in Saudi Arabia last year after a holiday romance but have been living in Egypt while waiting for Mr bin Laden’s visa application to be processed.
His application was refused by an entry clearance officer at the British Embassy in Cairo. The embassy said that the decision had been made on the ground that “exclusion from the United Kingdom is conducive to the public good . . . in the light of the character, conduct or association of the person seeking leave to enter it is undesirable to give him leave to enter”.
The officer added: “I note that statements made during recent media interviews indicate evidence of continuing loyalty to your father, and your presence in the UK could, therefore, cause considerable public concern.” [...]
Mr bin Laden said: “Who can know 100 per cent that my father is behind 9/11 or 7/7? I am not a judge and jury. I do not know if my father is a terrorist or was involved in the attacks.
“I want to come to England with my wife so she can be close to her children and grandchildren and she should also be near her hospital. The English are nice people and I am sure they will welcome me. People will understand I am not my father. I want to stop war, stop bombing and stop the killing.”...
But does he want to stop the Islamization of the West?

I'm sure what he means is "if England would convert to Islam en masse the war, bombing, and killing would stop".

A stupid older woman, this Zaina Alsabah bin Laden, formerly known as Jane Felix-Browne, swept off her feet by his liquid brown eyes, not to mention all that money! And all he wanted was a British visa. He'll likely dump her now that his plan has failed.

While the Brits are at it, maybe they could deny Jane, er Zaina, re-entry into the UK. After all, there is no reason why her children & grandchildren should be infected with a newfound belief in Islam.
Looks like a good template for cutting loose anchor wives (and hopefully down the road, anchor babies)

'A chip off the old block', 'bloods thicker than water'. Is he too stupid to know his wife is a sexual predator, ( or seems to be), and an opportunist? I think this is a case of mutual manipulation, her for her reasons, and he for his. It is his reasons the UK gov needs to be concerned with. I think a poster above is probably right, when this plan does not work or becomes too difficult, he will dump her...

It's almost funny that a muslim named Mohamad would have such an address. I wonder if he prays at the Cricklewood Mosque, on South Circular Road. You can never get lost on Circular Road, just keep moving and you will end up where you started. That's exactly Islam. You can convert or be born to it, but eventually you will traverse the circle back to the beginning (haj). You have gained nothing, and only achieved sore feet. Unless of course, you recognize that there is profit in confusion, and become an Imam, an Ayatollah even. Then, you make others pay you to walk in a circle (Zakat/jizya))...Sounds like a plan...sweet huh...

The same standard of exclusion should be used with any muslim "seeking leave to enter" in the light of character, conduct or association (being muslim). . .as being conducive to the public good.
That entry clearance officer in Cairo should be promoted to prime minister. He seems to be one of the few in the British Government that has a clue.

His wife reminds me of these women who are always trying to strike up romances with serial killers on death row. There has to be something wrong with women who are romantically attracted to evil men.
If she wants to be close to her children and grand children, she shouldn't have married the bum, and should have considered the children orphaned by the Bin Laden family.

Sharm El Shiekh, Egypt is a Mecca for middle-aged female sex tourists from west Europe and the Muslim gigolos who service them. The young and cute Russian or Czech girls traveling to Egypt seeking dark studs for their own version of Spring Break do not have to go into a bidding war with the older English and German women over the best male specimens…
I wonder why more people do not view such old women with the same loathing as their male counterparts flocking to Asia and the former communist block countries in search of carnal entertainment! At least, the men do not bring back terrorist girlfriends and more Muslims to western shores like the ladies seem to be doing. During a shuttle ride I overheard two gigolos in their early twenties taking about business --- Apparently, they do nothing all day expect going up and down the beach offering to massage the hulks of white manatees littering the beach. They were angry with an experienced new comer who was scaring away business.
These young gigolos with nothing more than their youth and looks get more action than an Arab Sheikh. On the down side, the behavior of such women gave Muslims in Egypt the impression that all Christian women, and Coptic women by extension, are all wanton whores who would be all too happy to serve their Muslim masters. Assaults on Coptic Christian women by sex-starved Muslims are rising dramatically according to various reports. Christian women and girls are routinely grabbed and fondled in public transport and on the streets by Muslim youth. The internet is rife with the disgusting sentiments of Muslim men and boys hold for Christian women.
