This may be read to mean that she is deeply sorry she was caught, like every other criminal. The central question here should be, what steps are being taken to vet workers in the FBI and CIA to ensure this doesn't happen again?

What is the logic in letting her stay? Barring a life sentence with no parole, she'll eventually live freely in the US. What punishment is there in that? As long as she lives in the US doesn't she have greater access to information than she would have in the ME?
What conditions would be placed on her movements, contacts and interactions? Unless she is kept away from the internet and other Muslims, what purpose is served by keeping her here?
Depending on her age when released, she could have citizen children.

Everyone else just has to try to find out what works for *them* - I've said what works for me, perhaps others here could share their own soul-revivers.

It matters because if we all get ulcers from sheer boiling fury, or are overwhelmed by depression, the case *will* certainly become hopeless.

I suspect it will take a series of 9/11 style atrocities or larger countries witnessing the impact of demographics on the smaller European countries like the Netherlands or Malta for change to happen.

Unfortunately it will be accompanied by the violence we've seen in the Balkans.

In the UK the tone of the debate is changing. People are increasingly questioning many of the sacred cows that we weren't allowed to even discuss before.

Ordinary people know something isn't right, and it's slowly seeping into the media.

If they are worried about the info she has because of the jobs, she can surely pass it on, whether she is in the US, given the restrictions on electronic surveillance, or whether she is not .
She may have contacts with other Islamic employees of the above authorities. They can never be sure.
They can never be sure that she did not pass on other sensitive intel not related to her immediate work.

The only certainty is that those two bodies screwed up big time because they permitted a hole in the fence.

Exactly. They can never be sure of what she has given away and they can never be sure she won't pass on more information in the future. So what is gained by letting her stay in the US unless she is in a cell with all visits and communications monitored? If she has to stay in the US, why not have it be in a tiny village in Alaska? In such places, everyone knows everyone else. The idea of letting her move to a place like Dearborn doesn't engender warm and fuzzy feelings.
The Walkers are still in jail, aren't they? So is Pollard. Why is there even the slightest possiblity that this woman will see freedom anytime in the next fifty years?

I'm a Lebanese Christian and I wish I was born in the US to help you guys fight against these piece of trash who want to destroy our Western and Judeo-Christian values.

Sadly, the only guys who can get visas to the US are Muslims. An Iraqi Christian friend of mine saw with his own eyes a bearded muslim man go to the US embassy in Baghdad with his totally veiled wife and get a visa with no searches, no background checks, no bothers at all. The son of a bitch was muttering death to America and long life the mujahideen during his stay there. WTF? No, that doesn't stand for World Taekwondo Federation, rather for what the fuck? My friend's aunt, a Christian, was denied a visa despite her contributions to the US Army in Iraq. Good job State Department, keep the muslims in the US and the Arab Christians outside :(

Sorry for the rant, I had to take it off my chest, I'm sick of having to beg for visas for the West while muslims with know terrorist ties get them ASAP. Maybe I should grow a beard, change my name to muhammed and yell death to the jews and crusaders, that oughta get me accepted!!!!
