Pakistan jihadist: "I am reforming these mujahideen as Islam does not allow jihad against Muslims ... Why should mujahideen target Pakistan when this country provides everything for jihad in Afghanistan?”

Hey, now. It's an inner spiritual struggle, you Islamophobe. "‘Anti-Pakistan’ militants being ‘detoxified’," by Iqbal Khattak for the Daily Times, May 3:

BARA: Haji Namdar, the little-known pro-Taliban commander in Khyber Agency who survived a suicide attack on Thursday, said that he was helping to ‘detoxify’ militants staying with him through ‘Islamic classes’, that teach them that attacking Pakistani forces, people or state installations “is no jihad at all”, and that rather, by “doing so we are strengthening anti-Islamic forces”.

Namdar heads the religio-militant Amar Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munker (Promotion of Virtue and Suppression of Vice) organisation in the Bar Kambarkhel area. “These [mujahideen] leaders brainwash teenagers, telling them that each and every Pakistani is their enemy and his or her killing is justified. And it is also jihad that they should keep killing Pakistanis,” said Namdar. “I am reforming these mujahideen as Islam does not allow jihad against Muslims.”

Talking to Daily Times in an exclusive interview two days before the suicide attack that targeted him and left many injured at his headquarters in Takya, he, however, did not name any of the Taliban leaders who were ‘brainwashing teenagers’.

‘No jihad at all’: Expressing concern over the “anti-Pakistan posture” of some mujahideen leaders in the Tribal Areas, with many having justified attacks inside the country as ‘jihad’, he said, “We will never wage jihad inside Pakistan. Afghanistan needs mujahideen to liberate that country from United States-led foreign occupation.”

“Yes, we do attack the US forces across the border and that is what real jihad is all about,” he admitted. “The way [US] President [George W] Bush is waging a crusade against Islam, we will hit the US wherever and whenever it is possible. Our jihad against the US in Afghanistan goes on,” he added.

Namdar’s influence is restricted to the Bar Kambarkhel tribe, but following his admission that he ‘plays host’ to tribal and foreign militants, this makes him a potentially influential commander in a region through which supply lines to the US and NATO forces in Afghanistan pass.

He said his aim was to make it clear to the mujahideen where and against whom the ‘real jihad’ is to be waged. “My aim is to show them which path is the correct one for waging jihad. Our real enemy is one that has reached closer to us, and is occupying Afghanistan. Why should mujahideen target Pakistan when this country provides everything for jihad in Afghanistan,” he said.

Namdar said he opposed suicide attacks inside Pakistan, but justified them as the “best weapon” against the enemy. “We have to finish our enemy in Afghanistan by any means and suicide bombing is the best weapon.”

His acknowledgement of the presence of Taliban militants and their ‘active participation’ in cross-border anti-US jihad marks a new beginning for the Taliban-linked insurgency in Afghanistan, as reinforcement from Khyber Agency would boost the morale of militants in opening up a new front against Kabul.

It sure is comforting to know that moderate Muslims like Haji Namdar are restoring the true meaning of jihad--we don't want those extremists to hijack such a fundamental tenet of true Islam would we, now?

there you go, straight the Muslim mouth...forget the BS you hear about Jihad being an "Inner Struggle"..Jihad is all about killing Non MUslims , plain and simple..The Muslims are following old MO's directions: "Kill them where you find them."

NOw that they have admitted operating from Pakistan to attack in Afghanistan, the gloves should be taken off and we should be actively attacking every target of opportunity, such as large gatherings of armed Muslims in known terrorist camps, anything that moves that is carrying RPGs, mortars, or machine guns.

The Muslims love Jihad, it is time to teach them to really appreciate the misery that Allah has bestowed upon them...

Allah hates Muslims..he has endowed them with stupidity, pain , misery , and death.

Yes and the way that they get there wealth is by robbing and looting. It has been done since the beginning as they follow the way of the MoHAMtheMED. Now they get it by the billions of aid that western countries sends them. The Koran has taught them to wage war, get booty and not to think and earn a honest living.

Surely this is exactly what the "re-education" of Al-Qaeda sympathizers in Saudi jails does. It does not attempt to convince them to stop fighting Americans and other Infidels. It merely attempts to convince them not to fight the wonderful Al-Saud and their courtiers, who have done so much for Islam -- why, just look at how much money they have poured into conducting the Jihad, by supporting Muslims deep within Dar al-Harb, and in promoting the Da'wa that, along with demographic conquest, is going to undermine the Infidel nation-states from within, and ensure the final triumph of Islam. That is what those prisoners in Saudi jails are being taught, and that is why there is no "lesson" that is transferable to Muslim terrorists held prisoner in Infidel jails. The Americans who are so impressed with the Saudi effort apparently do not understand what it is, exactly, that the Saudi officials, and their tame imams, are doing to re-educate those prisoners. What they are not doing is teaching those prisones that terrorist attacks on Infidels is wrong.

I can't help but think that a lot of the reason that this guy wants to "reform" the jihadis is because they've tried to murder HIM! LOL
Where in the "Pig-slamist" texts does it justfy the murder of your own co-religionists? Did "the perfect man","Moo-Ham-Mud", say something to advocate this?
Why can't the world understand that this violence, truely, has little to do with any neo-religious belief? It's all about barbarians, hiding behind a totalitarian ideology, indulging themselves in some of the most evil aspects of human behavior! An ideology SO corrupt that they will even inflict it upon their own people!
And why is it that our OWN government is SO dedicated to being "stuck on stupid"? Even to the point of risking the existance of civilization, as we know it? Isn't common decency worth fighting for anymore?
