Thug-In-Chief: Israel a "stinking corpse"

More love from the hero of Columbia University students: "Ahmadinejad: Israel a 'stinking corpse,'" from the Jerusalem Post (thanks to Louis):

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that the state of Israel is a "stinking corpse" that is destined to disappear, the French news agency AFP reported.

"Those who think they can revive the stinking corpse of the usurping and fake Israeli regime by throwing a birthday party are seriously mistaken," the official IRNA news agency quoted Ahmadinejad as having said.

"Today the reason for the Zionist regime's existence is questioned, and this regime is on its way to annihilation."

Ahmadinejad further stated that Israel "has reached the end like a dead rat after being slapped by the Lebanese" - referring to the Second Lebanon War in the summer of 2006.

Then they have the chutzpah to complain to the UN about Hillary. But of course, jihadists of all stripes have never found chutzpah in short supply.

I find Ahmadinejad's choice of words here a bit below even his normative bottom-scraping standard.

I guess no present for Israel on its big 6-0 from Mahmoud, eh?

“…and whether we like it or not, the coming into being of a Jewish State in Palestine is an event in world history to be viewed in the perspective, not of a generation or a century, but in the perspective of a thousand, two thousand or even three thousand years…This is an event in world history…” Sir Winston Churchill* (Martin Gilbert, Churchill and the Jews)

The above is a rousing and fitting quote used in an outstanding tribute to Israel’s 60th Birthday Celebration by Pamela Geller over at Atlas Shrugs. Some how I think Ahmadinejad is the “dead rat” and Islam: the “stinking corpse”. Viva le Israel and a glorious 60th to you!

Not much different than the Atlantic or other western establishment bastions of dhimmitude and capitulation really. I noticed the media getting us used to groups which have "vowed to destroy Israel" a few years ago. When all the major wire services added that to Hamas a few years ago I thought it was an improvement until I realized they're selling the idea.

I hope Israel has a very 1940s-1950s notion of civil defense and shelters. They're going to need it. Once you allow the precedent of constant bombardment it's hard to go back in time.

Politics being the art of the possible, Israel's survival has appeared impossible for many years now. The Arab News just announced the upcoming demographic conquest of Israel in an op-ed. Happy B-Day!

Ahmanutjob has a proclivity for inserting himself into anything that may gain him airtime and promote his cause - which is that he is the center of the universe. Israel's 60th shouldn't mean squat to him. We get a new obliteration prediction every week from the obscene idiot.

But I have always found it amazing to look at the brown dirt surrounding Israel and smile at the green they have changed their country to. This satellite photo is just one look. Just makes you wonder how much the insane jealousy of the Arab world of the success of Israel warps their limited minds.

Not that the 13th Mahdi imam guy isn't gonna happen. It's just that it sounds so funny.

Miniscule Israel, while constantly battling for its very survival for 60 years has absorbed more immigrants per percentage of population than any country in the world MANY of them poor and uneducated and now has A GREATER GNP THAN THE ENTIRE ARAB WORLD INCLUDING THE OIL PRODUCING COUNTRIES. Has given the world an a wealth of high tech, medical and scholarly knowledge and produced art, music and literature so incommensurate with its size that it is miraculous.

The creation of the State of Israel was the single greatest event of the Twentieth Century. The destruction of Israel would be the single greatest catastrophe in the history of civilization.

Some 'stinking corpse'.

Hater-in-Chief never has anything nice to say about Israel or anyone else for that matter. What is Hookmadatyou if he isn't a Hate-Monger - and a childish one at that.

Same ol' same ol'. Israel should complain to the UN like the little dwarf did about them. SO CHILDISH it's unbelievable to me that ANYONE in Iran actually listens to his drivel.

"Na Na Na Na Na Na, you're a stinkin' corpse!"

Gradeschool chatter from a juvenille junkyard dog. Does "Grow Up" mean anything to you, Yukmad?

Happy Birthday Israel...may you have many more. Please do it right the first time so that revenge will be the last thing on their minds.

May the Holy One of Israel turn back these curses upon the man's own head.

The will to annihilate Israel is not new. For example, just read Psalm 83: "they have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance' [verses 3-4, of the enmity of surrounding nations, against Israel]; and verse 12, 'who said, let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession'.

Why such bitter hatred? What drives it? Where does it come from?

Just read psalm 82: the standing challenge that the God of the Hebrews poses to all sacralised and institutionalised injustice and cruelty, to the worship of the will to power.

"God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
[He says] 'How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?
Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
They [these 'gods', or the earthly judges who are 'as gods'] know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are out of course..Ye [i.e. you false 'gods', or you who are as 'gods' of that kind, the Pharaohs and emperors and caliphs who have ruled as tyrannical 'godkings'] shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes."

I imagine 'allah', Moloch, all the baleful 'gods' of power, war, tyranny and enslavement, turbanned and crowned and all 'sneers of cold command', cosily conferring at a council table, then recoiling in consternation as a Jewish rabbi in a prayer shawl storms into their midst and condemns them - "YE SHALL DIE LIKE MEN!"

THAT is the voice which Hitler once, and Islam now, feels driven to silence at all costs.

Happy Birthday to the Nation of Israel, From the waste desert described by Mark Twain, to the green, growing nation of today. Israel is an example of what the rest of the Middle East might achieve if they throw off their adherence to death and someday embrace life.

Does this mean that Iran is not celebrating Israel's 60th anniversary?

Oh well, Happy Birthday Israel.

Hasn't anyone told Ahmadinejad that his comments about Israel are just plain rude? If he keeps this up he's going to get a well deserved lump of coal in his Christmas stocking.

"Those who think they can revive the stinking corpse..."

"Today the reason for the Zionist regime's existence is questioned, and this regime is on its way to annihilation."

Illogical. While it is true that one cannot revive a "stinking corpse", it is also true that one cannot annihilate a corpse.

Is this a sample of Islamic humor?

"Stinking corpse" is Ahmad's way of stating his evil intentions to "wipe Israel off of the map" AGAIN. Not very subtle, is he?

Posted by: champ [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 9, 2008 1:22 PM

As a strong supporter of Zionism, I would like to present a different perspective on Ahmadinejad than most.

First, he is not crazy. He is a true believer (albeit in a faith of questionable authenticity).

Second, he has never threatened to destroy Israel directly. He has repeatedly stated that Israel will be destroyed. While he uses Hizballah as a proxy army, and funds Global Jihad, I think he truly believes Israel will implode on its own, with just a little push from the jihadist hands now tightening their grip around Israel's neck.

Third, although it pains me greatly to say this, he is not entirely wrong. Objectively, Israel is country that is strong militarily, but weak idealogically. Its capable military is plagued by PC run amok, demoralized soldiers and commanders, budget cuts and abuse by the government (i.e., being used to evict Israeli citizens from their homes as a "peace gesture" to the PLO).

If you think anti-American bias is prevalant on U.S. college campuses, just take a look at what is being said on Israeli college campuses. Many Israeli Jews do not have any interest in or knowledge of their own history or culture. The far left controls the courts, and abuses their power to supress nationalism and blackmail Israel's leaders into following a leftist/ defeatist agenda. The security of Israel is relegated to lip service from politicians and military leaders while her "allies" strong-arm Israel into concessions to her enemies that will leave Israel indefendable. The constant shelling of civilian areas is something the Priminister says residents will have to accept. After all, he believes Israelis are tired of winning and tired of victory, and for many Israelis, he might be correct. Emigration from Israel is as massive as ever, far outnumbering immigration. Huge numbers of Israelis, both on the left and on the extreme religious right, refuse to support nationalist Zionism, which is, in my opinion, the only reason Israel was born and has survived 60 years, against all odds (well, that and God's help).

So, to say Israel is a rotting corpse, while harsh, is, in my opinion, not too far from the ugly truth. Meanwhile, Israel's enemies, like Ahmadinejad, are firmly rooted in their beliefs, and they are willing to use every resource available (including the lives of their children) to pursue jihad against Israel and the West.

Is it so unbelievable that Israel won't see another 60 years? I hope it does, but when elected ministers actively support the nation's enemies (and even provide them with intelligence) and prominent Israelis suggest that every Israeli Jew obtain a passport from a country other than Israel, how long can a small block of religious and nationalist Zionists keep her alive? A fifth column actively supporting her enemies of over 20% of the population becomes more bold by the day, and even talking about the problem gets you labeled a racist, and guilty of "incitement", which can get you thown in jail. Does the Jewish state really have staying power? I pray it does, but I doubt it. That jerk in Tehran might be more honest than he is crazy.

bondmanp - are you Jewish, in Israel?

I understand how you feel. Please don't give up. Keep trying: keep educating Israeli Jews, and Jews in the diaspora, about the Jihad, and Islamic anti-semitism; the main thing is to see clean through the Arab/Muslim Big Lies, and the nasty little goodcop/badcop games that the Ummah plays, not to mention Infiltration, Bribery, Treachery and 'split the camp'.

I don't think the divisions within Israel, today, are entirely Israel's doing - I think there has been a huge Muslim 'split the camp of the Infidel' campaign going on for at least forty years. Jacques Ellul saw that, in 1986; he wrote about it in 'Un Chretien Pour Israel'.

Arab/Muslim oil-funded propagandists (with help from former Nazis, and the Soviets in the beginning, but they hardly needed help! - Nazi and Soviet 'advisers' solemnly teaching Muslims how to peddle Big Lies is like teaching your grandmother to suck eggs) have pursued four aims: split Europe from the USA; split Israel from the USA; split Israel from the Diaspora; split Israel itself; and do it by either playing upon existing tensions/ divisions, or actively seeking to create divisions.

There has been, for some years, a campaign to split those Christians who might be called 'christian zionists', from the church; to brand them as heretics and fanatics. At the same time, many foolish Christians have been suckered by the 'Jesus was a Palestinian' ploy - what Bat Yeor, bless her, calls 'Palestinianism'; at bottom it's a Muslim tactic to deracinate Christianity, separate it from Jewish bedrock so it can be Islamised and destroyed.

In 'interfaith' activities Muslims tell Christians 'you have so much in common with us because we Muslims 'respect' Jesus and Mary' (unlike those NASTY JOOZ who don't); then, somewhere else, the same Muslims turn around and tell Jews that they mustn't trust those horrid Christians who worship Jesus, 'while *we* are your friends because we confess the absolute unity of god'. Thus the Muslims, in different venues, pose as allies to both Jews and Christians [whom, in fact, they are sworn to destroy], while encouraging Jews and Christians to fear and hate each other. To Jews they say - 'you can't trust the Christians, you will be safe with us...we are so tolerant...you are getting SLEEEEPY NOW, SSSSS'; to the Christians they say, 'side with us against the Evil Zionists who are persecuting the Pooor Palestinians, boohoo!'.

I'm sure they try similar tricks with the various schools of thought among Jews (e.g. secular vs Orthodox). The whole thing about 'I hate Israel/ Zionists but I don't hate [non-Zionist] Jews' is about splitting the diaspora from israel.

It's time we saw this whole 'splitting the camp' tactic for what it is, and refused to play. As fast as they try to split us, we have to try to build unity: real, solid trust and unity. Islam has an almost instinctive, reflexive, indeed diabolical capacity both for perceiving existing divisions, and for creating division in targetted societies; over against that, all we have going for us is the fact that we *are* able to resolve differences and co-operate creatively.

It might help if we simply applied, as a rule of thumb, the principle that every Arab/Muslim spokesman, whenever they open their mouths to an Infidel, is most likely a. lying b. trying to set the infidels at odds with one another. Half the time I think it's probably not even conscious on their part - rather, automatic, a default setting - "lie! confuse! divide!"

Your job as educator is easier than that of Mr Spencer's in America (pop. 278 million). Israel is much, much smaller than America. Five million Israeli Jews? Even add the diaspora, and it's still a manageable group that has to be reached - fourteen million TOTAL.

It should be easier to turn a tugboat (Israel) than an ocean liner (USA). A paradigm shift in Israel SHOULD happen much faster than in America. (For the same reasons, I have hope for places like Australia, Denmark and even the Netherlands: the total number of citizens who require to be educated, and minds that need to change, is simply smaller, therefore they can be reached faster).

You may find some inspiration and ideas in Malcolm Gladwell's book 'Tipping Point'.
