Thug-In-Chief: "Iran becoming a nuclear country was one of the Imam Mahdi’s miracles"

Here, courtesy Jihad Watch reader Charlemagne’s Funny Bone, is a quick summary -- but fuller than most that have appeared in the mainstream media -- of Ahmadinejad’s one hour and three minute speech before 200-300 clerics in the City of Mashad, Iran.

The last two years was the hardest time, after the establishment of the Islamic Republic, through which we have passed. Some Iranian people are telling me that the price of oil has gone up so why we don’t see any of its effect in our country. They ask me why the price of food and many other things are rising. I have to tell you when the price of oil goes up the price of everything go up. My government won’t receive all of the money that we make out of oil. Whatever Majlis approves, my government spends and rest of the money that we made on oil goes to the treasury. The government before me (Rafsanjani, Khatami) changed many things. Whenever I want to fix any corruption, many people within regime that I do not want to name begin to talk against me. In one of their meetings they (Rafsanjani, Khatami) said someone (Ahmadinejad) wants to go against us, but he has to know two things in the country that are in our hands: the Banks and Oil. So, he cannot do anything.

We have to work very hard to establish justice in our country. Our foreign enemies thought that by passing resolutions in the United Nations, they could stop us from becoming a nuclear country. But with God’s help, now we are a nuclear country and they cannot do anything about it. There are many problems that, God willing, we will pass. I will talk about how we pass all of these problems in the second part of my speech.

You people know that God did not create man to live the way he is living today. No one used his mind better than prophets and Imams. The glorifications of men all will happen with divine management. If there is not any divine management, nothing happens in the world. All of the fights from the beginning of humanity have been because of he who has to manage and govern the world. From the beginning of humanity, all of the prophets said that the world must be managed through divine direction. We have to create a situation for the establishment of divine government. Anything that happens in the world happens because of Imam Mahdi. The creation of the world was because of the Imam Mahdi. The misery of humanity is because they don’t think about establishment of divine government on earth. There is no other truth or goodness in the world except the establishment of Imam Mahdi’s government on earth.

One day I was in a gathering, some people asked me what are these things that you are talking about, I told them that I did not say these things, God said them. If we don’t connect ourselves to the Imam, we are nothing. The return of Imam Mahdi is the only truth that we must think about. From the beginning of humanity there have been people with evil intentions that have been trying to stop us from thinking about the return of Imam Mahdi. Some people just see the body of the enemies but not their intentions. For example, the people who came and occupied Iraq, it seems their intention is to steal Iraqi’s oil, but that is not the case. Actually they have studied and analyzed that something is about to happen in this area. A divine hand is about to come out from this area and obliterate the corruption in the world.

Some people think that at this time Imam Mahdi is living somewhere and doesn’t care about humanity, but they are wrong. At this time Imam Mahdi is managing the world. My dear people, let me tell you something, at this time humanity has entered a new era. The people around the world are up rising against the arrogant powers. At this time we are seeing many of miracles of Imam Mahdi. For example, Iran becoming a nuclear country was one of the Imam Mahdi’s miracles. The victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran was another miracle of Imam Mahdi.

Let me tell you something, one day one of the grand Ayatollahs, whom many of you know, told me, “I have heard that you are talking about the return of Imam Mahdi and that you are in contact with him. Is that right?” I told him that I believe Imam Mahdi is managing the world. Furthermore, I told him, “Do you know what my problem is? My problem is that I believe everything people like you taught me.”

I believe that Iran is becoming the center of this management. "We must solve Iran's internal problems as quickly as possible. Time is lacking. A movement has started for us to occupy ourselves with our global responsibilities, which are arriving with great speed."

The world -- self-destructive and unbelieving -- will let these folks have nuclear arms.

From above: Anything that happens in the world happens because of Imam Mahdi. The creation of the world was because of the Imam Mahdi.

I guess Allah must be out of a job, or on vacation.
I thought Allah created the world because of...well Allah. Now we find out it was because of Mahdi.
And I thought everything that happened in the world was due to Allah's predestination/will, now we find out Mahdi is responsible. Why do we need Allah, when we have Mahdi? It looks like Beasty Boy Ahmadinijad, is giving Mahdi a promotion and elevating him/it to a higher elevation than Allah. That's getting really close to shirk and apostasy. I read another article where clerics are telling him to cool the Mahdi rhetoric, but it looks like he is ignoring them...

send this to Glenn Beck. He likes stories about the coming of the mahdi.

And this leader is going Nuclear, for real?

Posted by: Islofob IS-1 [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 8, 2008 11:11 PM

What a vicious messiah Muslims have ... he gives murderous nuclear bombs as miracles.

The Christian Messiah gives love and dies for his enemies that they might have life and even eternal life.

The Shiite Messiah sounds more than a little demonic with all this handing out of nuclear weapons. Hey, if the Shiite Messiah gives out nuclear weapons, it's a simple deduction that he wants them to be used.

Until the past couple years, I've tended to see the Anti-Christ as metaphorical. I'm really rethinking that with the way the Shiite's in Iran are talking about their nuclear bomb bestowing Messiah.

The more I learn about Islam, the more I come to appreciate being a Christian.

Hey, given that Muslims gave pathetic amounts during the 2004 Tsunami even though many of the victims were Muslim. Anyone see any significant Muslim giving to Burma/Myanmar? There are 4% Muslims in that country. The reason I ask, is that Muslims seem pathetic in their giving to their own and worse in giving to the non-Muslims. Christians on the other hand, give the lions share of charitable monies in the world.

They're all perfectly daft. They've been reading MAhDi Magazine again.

Mahdi is a miracle worker, huh. Since when are miracles obtained through making threats and by throwing temper tantrums.

True miracles are not acquired through evil means, but through God's grace given to the pure of heart.

Only one thing wrong with this translation:

-it should be "Allah" and not "God" throughout-

since they mean something completely different than any other faith in what their "deity" entails.

Best use their own word, "Allah", since it is not interchangeable with a loving God.

“Do you know what my problem is? My problem is that I believe everything people like you taught me.” ~ al-Mahdi's best friend to one of the Grand Assahollahs

If he had said that yes, he is in contact with al-Mahdi, would the G.A. have believed him?

"A movement has started for us to occupy ourselves with our global responsibilities."

like preparing the ummah for nuclear fallout.

What a crackpot. And Bush and the UN want to dance with this guy and his nukes?

His speech sounds like he about to start an interior purge of his Iranian opponents. The CIA should resurrect their Mosadeq files...

Mashad, in the north-east of Iran, is a particularly nasty town of headbangers and fanatics. In 1969 I did some extensive traveling around that area, but even then, under the shah, you couldn't get a hotel-room in that miserable s*thole.

They really made you feel like a filthy infidel, even way back then.

Ahmad-in-jihad is in good company there...

Sheik yer' Mami- Tell us more about your travels in Iran! My impression is that there are a few Western-leaning people in the bigger cities, but the majority of the citizens in that country are as nuts as their president.

'Furthermore, I told him, “Do you know what my problem is? My problem is that I believe everything people like you taught me.”'
From the post.

Amazing, just amazing. So, Uncle Tom has been conferring with the Man-At-The-Bottom-Of-The-Hole, has he? It's very telling that he would admit this but merely confirms what we already knew.

It sounds like he might be having some trouble with the puppet masters.

The eschatology of those who look to the 12th Imam, or Mahdi, to return with Isa, Jesus, at the end of days is a compelling Shiite ideology. The destruction of Iran is of no consequence compared to the paradise gained through ushering in the Mahdi through creating global "Helter-skelter".

Ahmedinejad and the Moonbat Mullah's view themselves as Islamic equivalents of John the Baptist. They cannot be intimidated, accomodated or appeased. They welcome death as long as it is in the service of their ideology.

May the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob raise up a nation in order to soon accomodate their wish for death. They are ascending a spiritual ladder, which they will find to be up against the wrong building! They are locked into their course by the Prince of Persia, the fallen angel governing the region.

We must however recognize that God has raised up Fundamentalist Islam, bearing for us a sign of our own shortcomings. The faith and sacrificial dedication that the Mullahs and Imams bring to the battle are the very means of will that we are lacking. We possess the means for wiping our enemies off the map, but lack the will. They have the will, but thusfar lack the means. Heaven help us if we delay until they have the means to provoke us into a response...a nuclear first strike against Israel, the US or even an EMP attack on our coasts from missle toting cargo ships.

We have waited too long already.

Compare and contrast the danger posed by those like Ragfish and Ahmedinejad. Both are classic dangers of the outdated ideas believed by many of the people today, and both give me the shudders when I hear such casual mention of obliterating the other, merely because their invisible friend told them to do it.

Posted by: rational [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 9, 2008 7:28 AM

Stublore,

If Israel should launch a preemptive strike against Iran -and how many times has Ahmadinejad gleefully predicted Israel's obliteration- would your sneer be the same, that "their invisible friend told them to do it?" Which "invisible friend" would that be? Moses? Joshua? David? Moishe Dayan? Golda Meir? Yes! How apropo that Iran would be whooped by an irate Jewish grandmother!

Now, if you were the U.S. Secretary of Defense, how would you advise President Bush on this question of Iranian nukes, that is, besides telling him to overcome the almost irresistible temptation to do the bidding of his "invisible friend," whoever that might be? Let me guess. Would it be Washington? Patton? I know! I know! It's Caspar "The Friendly Ghost" Weinberger, right?

duh_swami,
Ahmadinejad just misspoke. Everything happens because of Allah. It's just that the mahdi is his instrument.
Remember, The glorifications of men all will happen with divine management. If there is not any divine management, nothing happens in the world. All of the fights from the beginning of humanity have been because of he who has to manage and govern the world.

So, either the mahdi is managing things through Allah or Allah is managing things through the mahdi. It's the chicken and the egg but it satisfies all Muslims.

The danger posed by those like Stublore is paralysis. Always putting forward the false equivalency between the fanatics of Islam and those who would stop them. We have no desire to harm Iran as they desire to destroy our country, but a mad dog must be shot before he bites. You may shudder at a timely and decisive approach, long overdue, but men must sometimes make historic decisions or face the consequences of their inaction.

That's rather confusing, on the one hand you ask about Israel launching a pre-emptive nuclear strike, an action which I would abhor, and then say that
"How apropo that Iran would be whooped by an irate Jewish grandmother!"

Are you saying a thermo-nuclear strike is somehow akin to being beaten by a broom wielding grandmother? If you think that is so, you seriously need to re-evaluate your thinking.
If Israel's action, like Ahmadinejad's above, was done for religious reasons, then yes I would sneer, but it would not be my first reaction, that would be outrage, condemnation and tears.
Given Israel's ample evidence of resourcefulness, I seriously doubt they would ever need a 1st strike policy involving nukes, surgical strikes which take out the target are more along the lines of what I would expect from Israel, rather than the indiscriminate mass slaughter of innocents.

Posted by: Lex
Provide Israel with the most uptodate military intelligence and satellite imagery might be a good place to start, followed by sanctions and diplomacy. You see I have this hang up about indiscriminate slaughter, esp to appease some religious prophecy or voice which no one else can hear. As for Bush, definitely ignore the religious advisors and instead concentrate on people who know what they are talking about, you know the ones he ignored when he invaded Iraq in the first place.

I notice however you did not address what I actually said in my comparison of Ragfish and Ahmadinejad, they are both the same in their intolerant views, and both to be deplored for it. The source of their delusions is the same, the poisonous outdated religious fairy tales they prefer to reason. Care to comment??

Posted by: Stublore [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 10, 2008 12:39 AM

Stublore, I would like to clarify that I believe in surgical strikes against the Iranians' nuclear facilities, which might have to be nuclear since they are so deep; I really don't have the technical expertise to know. I just know they have to be destroyed. I'm not sure that Ragfish meant he wanted to kill everyone in Iran. I sort of doubt it. Hillary Clinton used the word "obliterate" in reference to Iran. Did she mean she wanted to destroy all life in the country? Unlikely. You seem to have strong objections to religion in general, and that's why you reacted to Ragfish's comments the way you did. I thought his writing was poetic and spiritually inspired. You are probably a rationalist/materialist (tell me if I am mistaken) and look at anyone with another view as an unenlightened primitive. Maybe it would help if you looked at aspects of religion as revealing deep archetypal processes acted out on the world stage. Maybe Ragfish has it right. Perhaps Fundamentalist Islam has arisen to reveal to us our shortcomings. Is that concept too strange for you to fathom? Just blithering nonsense? Meaningless? Don't you think it's possible for one society to totally repress aspects of its natural expression, while on the other side of the world its mirror opposite erupts and throws those rejected parts in its collective face. You ought to at least consider the possibility that Ragfish sees a dimension that you do not. I think you projected something on to him that might not have been there. When it comes right down to what action to take on Iran we might all be in basic agreement.

AckmaFlabaJab fails to see the full genorosity of the Mahdi. The Mahdi also blessed Israel with the Miracle of Nukes long before he blessed Iran with the Miracle of Nukes, as well as the Great Satan. FlabaJab doesn't want to think about all those other infidel countries and stinking corpses the mahdi blessed with Miracle Nukes way before he begrudgingly blessed Iran. Of course that would be because prior to FlabaJab, Iran was lead by impure corruptators who did not have a direct line of communication with the Mahdi like Israel and the Great Satan apparently did to get there Blessings first. HaHaHa, flabajab. I know you are reading this and I have outed you. You are jealous because the Mahdi blessed the stinking corpse with the miracle of Nukalar bombs afore ye were blessed. You are a LOSER and apparently the Madhi thinks so too, why else would the Madhi Bless Jews with the Miracle before you. Maybe the Madhi likes Jews more than he likes you there Flabajab.

The GREAT SATAN should provide Iran with the Miracle blessing of about 120 Nukalar Bombs simultaneously delivered in a Glorious display of the Madhi's kindness and Glory.
