To: U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on IntelligenceThe American people condemn the May 8, 2008 decision by the majority of the U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in rejecting Congressman Peter Hoekstra's amendment to the 2009 Intelligence Authorization Act (H.R. 5959), which was intended to "prohibit the intelligence community from adopting speech codes that encumber accurately describing the radical jihadist terrorists that attacked America and continue to threaten the homeland."
Moreover, the American people call for those members of the Committee who opposed this amendment to publicly account for and explain their vote.

Don't just sign the petition.
e-petitions probably don't carry that much weight.
Write a personal - snail-mail, signed - letter to the addressee: the 'U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence'.
If every person who signs the petition ALSO writes their own individual letter, it would mean a lot more.

It is often said that a people get the government they deserve... I'm going to the State Assembly this month as a delegate and I just don't see any way to make a positive influence on this. All the candidates are blind to the threat, it seems.

It just occurred to me that not only can't we call them jihadists (because jihad is a commandment for them), we also can't call them terrorists since that is also a commandment ("[The Koran says:] 'And prepare against them what force you can and horses harnessed for battle, to strike terror into [the hearts of] the enemies of Allah and your enemies and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them [Koran 8:60].')
So what can we call them? We cannot fight someone without calling him (anyone remembers 'he who must not be named'?). Let's see, in Islam, the pig and the monkey are defiled - so maybe, just maybe, we will call them pigs and monkeys doing bad things?
The only problem I see is that it will be hard for the moderate Muslims to believe those people are Jews...
