Land for what, now? "Zahar: 'We will persecute the Zionists'," from the Jerusalem Post, May 14:
Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar said Wednesday that a Palestinian state will be established on all of the land of Palestine and not only on parts of it, and that it will include "Jaffa, Lod and Haifa."
Zahar also reiterated Hamas' unwillingness to recognize the State of Israel and said that the group "will continue to persecute the Zionists wherever they are, after we prove that the Zionist army can be defeated - contrary to what was believed in the past, that it is impossible to beat the Zionists."
Speaking in the Gaza Strip, he went on to affirm Palestinian right of return, claiming that the "right of return of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians is closer than ever."
"After we defeat the Zionists we will persecute them… we will persecute them to eternity, and the sun of the freedom and independence of the Palestinians will burn all of the Zionists," he continued.
"I think there's no doubt in anyone's mind that, if Israel is ever going to find peace with justice concerning the relationship with their next-door neighbors, the Palestinians, that Hamas will have to be included in the process." - Dhimmi Carter, April 13.

Israel's strenght has been proven over the decades by their neigbour's attacks. now they have their proxies fighting the terrorists type of war. the IDF need to keep up the targeted killings of Hammas and their ilk where ever they find these monsters.

It's time for Israel to cripple Iran, enablers of Hamas and Hezbollah, before it's too late. They must show the jihadists who is stronger.

I would like to see the world's reaction to just one statement by an Israeli official about persectuing Palestinians in any sort of way.
I am happily dreaming of a day when Israel flexes its muscles and wipes the grins off the faces of all of their neighbors, world opinion be damned.

This answer to the question 'if Israel did not exist any longer would the muslims be content?'
This answer confirms the muslims are after the Jews, not the land that the Jews are on.
This Hamas official is threatening genocide.

Israel could do alot of things. They should be holding Damascus and Tehran accountable for their proxy wars.
If the Israeli settlements and community in Gaza still existed, they could have taken back control of the Gaza. Those communities very valuable in so many ways to the IDF, one being the ability to operate from within Gaza for special operations and cut off bombers, rocekt squads, not to mention the IDF used to control the Rafah crossings to Egypt.
That withdrawl by Sharon, a military genius, was a strategic blunder that has left very few good options left now as Hamas continues to be trained by Iranian commanders and armed in the model of Hizballah, stockpiling explosives, rockets, IEDs, russian anti-tank missles that Team Ummah is so impressed with after the 2006 Lebanon war.
Without those communities, providing a safe haven for IDF to operate from and that buffer zone that it provided to the Western Negev, the IDF probably shouldn't retake the Gaza. What to do? If there was a way to move the muslim arabs of Gaza, they should be moved. Absord the remaining christians in Gaza into Israel, and expel the rest of them. Kick them out of Gaza. They've had their chance and blown it. Move them then compensate them, so they can survive elsewhere, just get rid of them and let it serve as a precedent for the occupying Arabs in Judea/Samaria.

Israel must defend itself. It is obvious, from this distance (USA), that doing so requires Israel separating itself from islam and its adherents.
Compensate them? Hell, no! Evict them from Gaza, Israel proper, and anywhere else from which they dare to launch an attack.
Israel owes islam/muslims nothing - save the back of its hand.

You have to shake your head sadly at Jimmy Carter. One interpretation of his increasing nuttiness is that he thinks of himself as Jesus the Peacemaker being persecuted by the Joos.
at May 15, 2008 4:36 PM
I don't believe that Jhimmi Carter is significant enough to rate special attention from the Joos. Jhimmi is a drooling, babbling, stumbling, burned-out street person. No-one takes him seriously.

Blah blah ... rivers of blood .. yada yada yada. We've heard all this venomous rhetoric before. Its sad that Hamas wants to squander its life on a hopeless cause, but Israel must not budge unless there is a clear repentance from the Palestinians.
This said, Israel must protect itself and therefore needs to establish a "dead zone" around itself to ensure that qassam rockets can not hit it or murderers can not get into Israel.
Let Israel be Israel, and let's these Muslims wail and gnash their teeth outside the walls. If Islam truly wanted peace, Israel would welcome it. If Islam truly loves the Palestinians they would have absorbed them into their countries in the 1950's.

"After we defeat the Zionists we will persecute them…"
Wishful thinking. It's a long way from today to defeating the Zionists. Until then why not build up your own stinking countries? Spend a little less time fixating on the Jews and you might find life is worth living. But I guess that's what you're afraid of - living. It ain't easy.

Israel has done everything not to commit genocide in Gaza. Israeli patience is coming to an end. Maybe an old-fashioned firebombing and firestorm in Gaza will show it.

Both dhimmi Bush and dhimmi Rice were there when the latest atrocity hit Israel. Is it my wishful thinking, or do these 2 seem to be waking up?

Israel needs to go preemptive on the enablers of H & H. A strike against Iran would be pretty groovy at this time.

Unpleasant, brutal, and illuminating - and it confirms that President Bush is essentially correct about Hamas, Iran, and the need to confront and defeat these dreamers of mass murder in the name of Allah. Appeasement, the official policy of many leftwing Democrats - and probably Barak Hussein Obama - will only cause greater misery. Where, after all, did Jimmy Carter's embrace of Iranian radicals get us in 1979?

"After we defeat the Zionists we will persecute them."
So typical of the zeitgeist of muslims. The glee they find in the suffering of others suggests they are only into it for the glee that suffering of others make for them. "You love life and we love death." or the holy prayer "allah, make them booty for us."
Ishaq:369:
"Thereupon Mas'ud leapt upon Sunayna, one of the Jewish merchants with whom his family had social and commercial relations and killed him. The Muslim's brother complained, saying, 'Why did you kill him? You have much fat in you belly from his charity.' Mas'ud answered, 'By Allah, had Muhammad ordered me to murder you, my brother, I would have cut off your head.' Wherein the brother said, 'Any religion that can bring you to this is indeed wonderful!' And he accepted Islam."
or,
Tabari VII:97
Ishaq:368:
"We carried Ka'b's head and brought it to Muhammad during the night. We saluted him as he stood praying and told him that we had slain Allah's enemy. When he came out to us we cast Ashraf's head before his feet. The Prophet praised Allah that the poet had been assassinated and complimented us on the good work we had done in Allah's Cause. Our attack upon Allah's enemy cast terror among the Jews, and there was no Jew in Medina who did not fear for his life.'"
Or let muhammed be muhammed:
Tabari VIII:179
"Abdallah bin Sa'd fled to Uthman, his brother, who after hiding him, finally surrendered him to the Prophet. Uthman asked for clemency. Muhammad did not respond, remaining silent for a long time. Muhammad explained, 'By Allah, I kept silent so that one of you might go up to him and cut off his head!' One of the Ansar said, 'Why didn't you give me a sign?' Allah's Apostle replied, 'A prophet does not kill by pointing.'"
It appears that the religious folk of Hammas are just doing what their prophet instructed them to do. They are supposed to know to kill and torment living Jews without Muhammed pointing this out to them!

we will persecute them to eternity
Now that's an interesting statement. Just what is 'eternity' to him? Immortality? That 'we' are going to persecute Jews 'forever'? I don't think Allah made any provisions for Israel to last forever.
If he did, he made Judaism the supreme religion, because Islam is not going to last forever.
How is a dead jihadi, enjoying the rewards of Paradise going to 'persecute' anyone?
Mahmoud Zahar's days are numbered as is Islams.
Eternity is a long, long time, and I don't think Mahmoud is up to the trip...
In other words...He's full of bean gas...

Perhaps. Far little, far too late, and still without naming the enemy. Maybe McCain won't start with his head in the sand for four years.
From the presidents speech in Israel Yesterday.
"Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: "Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided." We have an obligation to call this what it is -- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

It's not likely that Bush and Rice are finally "waking up" to the threat Islam poses, even though they were there during one of the missile firings.
The time to wake up was seven years ago. They're two Rip van Winkles sleeping and dreaming of a peaceful world that will not come as long as they pursue their own misguided policies of negotiation and "religion of peace", all the while ignoring the threats being made every day against both Israel and the US.
Bush's speech was empty words. They are belied by his actions of the past several years. He (or his State Dept) has consistently pushed the interests of the Palestinians despite their constant wars. Maybe he didn't talk to Hamas but he's talking to Fatah. They're two sides of the same coin.

Bush is becoming like a Muslim. Different messages for different audiences. It doesn't matter if the messages are contradictory. Each side knows what it wants to hear and Bush offers it up, anything for his stupid legacy.
And that's what his legacy will be: STUPID.
