McCain to Obama: "It is reckless, it is reckless to suggest that unconditional meetings will advance our interests"

John McCain scores Barack Obama for saying he'd meet with the Thug-In-Chief. From LGF:

I have some news for Senator Obama: talking, not even with soaring rhetoric, (unconditional)... in unconditional meetings with a man who calls Israel a “stinking corpse,” and arms terrorists who kill Americans, will not convince Iran to give up its nuclear programs.

It is reckless, it is reckless to suggest that unconditional meetings will advance our interests.

You know, it would be a wonderful thing if we lived in a world where we don’t have enemies. But that’s not the world we live in. And until Senator Obama understands that reality, the American people have every reason to doubt whether he has the strength, judgment, and determination to keep us safe.

Mr. Obama may have had the best education in america, but he sure does not have any common sense. What else would you expect from a Marxist.

Hussein Obama has plenty, PLENTY, of Mohammedan relatives, polygamists included (Africa) -FACT. Ergo, he has sympathies for Mohammedans.

If he becomes President, America will be over. It will be Americanistan, just like Londonistan and Amsterdanistan and Dearbornistan and Canadaistan.

Why the West is suiciding itself to the Islamic Barbarians, I don't know. But, it appears to be a mass suicide (Western Europe and America).

Why?

callmeinfidel - I've had a great education, too, and I have common sense and I'm not a Marxist.

Hussein Obama went to Islamic madrassahs in Indonesia, and has a Muslim father and uncle and other Mohammedan relatives.

And that makes all the difference.

Obama is an empty suit and a flawed candidate who cannot win.

Next.

darcy, leftards control too much of our lives, our government, they are paralyzed and this is a very good explanation if you have the time to watch it:

Essentially, we will allow our world to be destroyed while singing la la la la!

May I respectfully suggest to those who despair about the future of America that this country is extraordinarily resilient and that truth and goodness are very, very stubborn things. Will arguably much tragedy ensue because America and the West keep underestimating and miscalculating the many freedom crushing and mind controlling aspects of Islam? You bet. Many unnecessary deaths because of Mo's creed is a given as we move into the future (thanks again, Islam, for nothing----for Christ's sake, can't the Islamic world get anything right?).

But I remain optimistic, very, that the Founding Fathers established a nation which is indeed, as Lincoln said, the last best hope of mankind. We will prevail even with an Obama Presidency, which would almost certainly result in the enemy feeling temporarily emboldened. The last thing any sensible American should do is despair because of temporary defeats. Be defiant and prevail.

A strong statement by McCain. I don't know how the average American feels, but if there are too many interchanges between Obama and McCain like this one, then I think Obama might actually lose the general election.

Obama who? I never even heard of the guy until he decided to run for President. He may be good at running for the Oval Office, but he sure wouldn't be good at running our country.

Reckless? More like deliberate...

Punish liberals...vote for Obama...

Posted by: duh_swami [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 17, 2008 12:46 AM

Duh swami's prediction...if Obama wins the presidency, within one year, the liberals that elected him, will be trying to impeach him.

Stranger things have happened...In the immortal words of Geo Bush Sr, 'Watch and learn'. (He also had a number of other three word phrases and sentences. Read my lips...no new taxes...traditional family values, kiss the King, and more).

Back to Obama...expect mess ups...and lots of them...

Excellent link, very informative and thought provoking.

Thanks Sounder.

Its obvious Obama does not absorb a political punch well, glass jaw as its been said. If Obama continues to receive these slaps from McCain (this has only begun) perhaps Obama will suggest an 'unconditional meeting' with McCain to convince him to stop! Do you think?

Canadaistan?

Trust me Darcy, we aren't to that point yet in Canada. Just like the States, we have our weak leaders and leftist idiots. But the average Canuck is getting fed up.

Consider the messenger. McCain's words mean naught. He is a PC maven who wants to legalize anyone who is here illegally. That might seem off-topic but it's not. Make it easier to cross our southern border, as any of the three remaining candidates would do, and the terrorists will get here through the back door, even if we close, lock and bar the front door.
Make it impossible for our law enforcement personnel to verify their status and they can remain here forever. McCain is no defense hawk. Maybe he's a military hawk, but there's more to defense than our military.

And yet it would be reckless, reckless to vote for McCain...

Posted by: Abscedere [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 17, 2008 10:41 AM

Strike up another chorus of Barb, Barb, Barb, Barb Barbara Ann to demonstrate the deep statesman like mentality of McCain. Yeah, let's continue to joke about bombing another nation state while we express indignant outrage when one of them does it. Both sides are idiotic. I abhor religious extremism of all stripes - they fuel war and pestilence.
McCain's support of the continued unjustified occupation of Iraq disqualifies him to be President. The US cannot endure another 4 years ( he will be too senile to run for reelction in 2012) of bellicose leadership.

Duh swami's prediction...if Obama wins the presidency, within one year, the liberals that elected him, will be trying to impeach him.

Duh Swami,

I must disagree. The femininsts that called Clarence Thomas a sexual harasser elected Bill Clinton and then made his taking advantage of a young woman who worked for him "nothing but sex, and a consensual affair". These same feminists had previously defined sexual harassment down to an older boss hitting on a younger woman. It didn't even matter that it was consensual. The underling's position of inferiority in the workplace made the boss's act unacceptable - until the boss was Bill Clinton. Then it was "just sex between two consenting adults".

The liberals that elect Obama will find ways to guard him against the next "vast right wing conspiracy", no matter how he tries to destroy the country.

Personally, I would like to get away from the constant threats of impeachment. It's thrown about so much that it's lost all meaning. It's become a tool of everyday politics and that's not good.

Obama will unravel before the Fall.

He is a vacuity swaddled by nothingness wrapped up in piffle.

McCain is maddeningly weak on half the important issues we face (border security, energy independence, etc.), but far better than the blithering appeaser and neophyte waffler Barack Hussein.

If being senile disqualify one for an elective office shouldn't West Virginia vote Byrd out of office? What about granny nanny Pelosi from California? Kennedy and Leahy are not young whipper snappers you know.
