Qur'an-Shooting Rage turns lethal. "1 NATO soldier killed in Quran protest," by Alisa Tang for the Associated Press, May 22:
KABUL, Afghanistan - Gunfire broke out Thursday at a protest in western Afghanistan against a U.S. sniper in Iraq who used a Quran for target practice and officials said a NATO soldier and two civilians were killed.
Police opened fire on demonstrators who threw rocks and set tents on fire near a military airfield in western Ghor province, said NATO spokesman Maj. Martin O'Donnell.
Two civilians were slain and seven others were wounded, he said.
Gunfire also killed one NATO soldier and wounded another, but it was not clear who shot at them, O'Donnell said.
"We don't know if it was one of the protesters, an insurgent among the protesters or an insurgent sniper outside the protest. We have no indication that it was the Afghan National Police," O'Donnell told The Associated Press.
That such a denial is even needed says a lot about the state of affairs there.
Ghor provincial police chief Shah Jahan Noori said about 1,000 demonstrators had gathered to protest the Quran shooting.
"Among these people were rebels who opened fire," Noori said, adding that 10 policemen were also wounded.
Provincial council member Ahmad Khan Rahimi was among the protesters and estimated the crowd at 2,000 people.
He said they chanted "Death to America!" and "America is against Islam!"

Islam has been against humanity for the past 1400, well before the United States even existed. Look at the priorities. Put a bullet through the Koran and all the protest and death to America. Forget rebuilding Afghanistan. They only care about the Jihad and the supremacy of Islam. American generosity is taken as the Jizya. Muslims believe that the money given is their birth right from the infidels. None of the other UMMAH countries are given any money to help build Afghanistan. However tons of money is used to build Mosques and Madrases on infidel lands.

Just one more example of Islam and its followers showing their abject incompatibilty with the modern world. I wonder how many Muslims has the book, the Quran fed, saved, etc? Answer: Zero
How many Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindis, Buddhists, women, children, etc has the book, the Quran murdered over the centuries: Answer: millions

What a waste of good bullets, which should only be used on muslims. The best possible use for the koran is they way it is used at my house...it's kept next to the toilet...not to read, however, it's missing too many pages to read!
If that insults any muslims...TOUGH! Every muslim terrorist act hastens their day of reckoning. The muslims think we're going to remain passive around the world until it's too late to stop them. Man, are they in for a big surprise! The stinking little pissants are in for some more shock and awe real soon, starting in iran!

Islam is very consistent with it's inconsistencies.
Cognitive dissonance is the result.
Living an oxymoron, leads to a chaotic life of wide swings between poles. This is instability. It is bi-polar, the drug of choice is lithium. Praying five times a day and the pre-rituals is supposed to
ground the vacillating mentality. But it does not as you can see. Mohammad originally prescribed praying fifty times a day, then it was dropped to five. To relieve themselves of cognitive dissonance and erratic mood swings, Islam should re-institute the fifty prayer rule. The fifty prayer rule stops jihad, re-establishes Islam as the religion of peace, and calms the muslim breast.(whatever that is. I can't say I have ever actually seen one, but I hear they do exist). Anyway the muslim breast needs calming and praying to Allah fifty times a day will calm them. It certainly calms me...
