Thug-in-Chief: "I do not believe that my declarations create problems," but Israel is "doomed to go"

"Saving all my hate -- for yoooooooou"

Once he gets started, he just keeps going. "Ahmadinejad: Europe suffering because of Zionists," by Dudi Cohen for YNet News, June 3:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Rome on Tuesday to attend the United Nations summit on global food security.
Ahmadinejad was quick to attack Israel upon his arrival, saying Europe was bearing the economic and political costs of the "false Zionist regime."
"I do not believe that my declarations create problems," Ahmadinejad told summit goers via an interpreter. "People like my comments, because this way the public can save themselves from the imposition of the Zionists.
"European peoples have suffered the greatest damage from Zionists and today the costs of this false regime, be they political or economic costs, are on Europe's shoulders," he said.
Ahmadinejad later warned Israel is "doomed to go," saying it is what he called a "fabricated regime" that will disappear. He said this will happen with or without Iranian involvement.
Italian public television, RAI, reported that the Iranian president's name was dropped from the summit's closing gala event guest list, which will be hosted by Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
Ahmadinejad's participation in the summit has been the source of much embarrassment to the Italian government. Both Berlusconi and Foreign Minister Franco Frattini have made it clear that they would not meet with him, since Iran does not recognize Israel's right to exist. [...]
Ahmadinejad had also reportedly asked for a private audience with Pope Benedict XVI but was turned away. The Vatican issued a statement saying all similar requests to see the pope during the summit were declined as well and added that media interpretations that the pope was snubbing anyone were wrong.

false zionist regime
What? What do you mean, cheetah? That the Israeli Government is not zionist enough? Or that it isn't really a regime at all, perhaps a zionist chocolate chip cookie? Enquiring minds want to know... Posted by: Jesus Worshipping Zionist [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 3, 2008 1:57 PM

How do you know when Imathuginchief is lying? His lips are moving, as shown in the picture.

A walking talking embarrassment to the civilized world. He probably wants to show the Pope the hole in the ground from which his "Mahdi" will emerge.

Worth noting, this is the one year anniversary of the death of Catholic Father Ragheed & Companions of Iraq.

Why on earth this guy wants to meet with the Pope - when the >1% Christian population in his own land of Iran faces persecution that he could stop (or could he?)...

One wonders what Grand Mufti would want to meet with the leader of a nation state where Muslims are routinely killed for being Muslim, and conversion to Islam is a capital crime... If such a place existed that is.

Ahmadinejad should be depicted, in broadcasts from the Iranian radio stations outside Iran, as a pawn or puppet of the Arabs -- someone who has forgotten the entire history of Persian-Jewish relations, who is merely a fanatical "slave of Allah" who would be despised by Firdowsi, by Hafiz, by Sa'adi, by Omar Khayyam. Go ahead, play every chord of Iranian nationalism, for that is the key to undoing the Islamic Republic of Iran. And in that campaign, enroll Iranian contempt for the "desert Arabs," a contempt shared, incidentally, by those who in Syria are still careful to call themselves "Syrians" and who pride themselves on being quite different from the dripping-with-gold Arabs of the peninsula, the Jazirat al-Arab. Play on that too.

"European peoples have suffered the greatest damage from Zionists and today the costs of this false regime, be they political or economic costs, are on Europe's shoulders," he said."

I thought the Palestinians have suffered the most. I also love the mountains of evidence Muslims always produce when crying about their "persecutors".

I'd bet that his mahdi will be emerging from a different "hole".

the "false Zionist regime."

I thought that Israel was actually "Zionist", and that's why NutJob was against them.

Now he's saying that they are not actually a Zionist regime?

Looks like he is snoring in the picture.

I take it that NutJob would be searched and would have to pass through a metal detector before being allowed into the Vatican?

I want to know - where were the stern-faced gentlemen in the white coats, with tranquilisers and a strait jacket, to grab him and take him away to a secure mental facility, the kind that is reserved for those who are a manifest danger to themselves and the public?

Ahmanutjob probably would tell the Pope that his god is better than our God. I can hear it now....

Mohammed is better

No, our God is better.

Mohammed is better I say!!

No he's not.

Yes he is.....

Nope,

YES HE IS!!! (spinning into a frenzy)

From the article:

"Both Berlusconi and Foreign Minister Franco Frattini have made it clear that they would not meet with him, since Iran does not recognize Israel's right to exist."
"Ahmadinejad had also reportedly asked for a private audience with Pope Benedict XVI but was turned away."

Good on you, Italy. If you weren't quite able, or brave enough, to keep him out of the country altogether, shunning him is the next best thing. Keep it up. No trade or business relations either. Perhaps others may get the idea.

And good one, Benedict - your actions can be seen as consonant with those of Italy (where you now live and head up Italy's best-known cultural institution, the Vatican), but also as conferring a little honour on your country of birth.

Aside to Hugh - good idea for the radio broadcasts. But the image of Ahmadinejad and other fervent Traditional Jihad-Sharia Muslims, black turbans and all, as the capering puppets (or squawking ventriloquist's dolls) of fiendish Arab Imperialists, should be jam for cartoonists.

Which artists will step up to the plate and produce powerful, blackly satirical, tragicomic images that can multiply like wildfire among the Persian diaspora, and seep over the borders into Persia itself, samizdat? Is Marjane Satrapi, author of 'Persepolis', able to gain enough ntellectual detachment from Islam, to have a go?

Rut roh. He is demanding to meet with the Pope in person for a nice chat. Over tea. And a rose garden. Where we can chat peacefully. In our robes. While overlooking a peaceful brook. In the countryside. We will talk and talk. About the synergy that exists between Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Yes. Peaceful chat. Tea. That's really all they want.

And this load of despots, lunatics, and tyrants are going to solve world hunger how exactly?

It's western largesse and science that will do that, if it's possible.

Why we don't just scrap the United Nations, like all these collections of countries with a "common goal", they never work and never avoid war either. It's just give legitimacy to the nutters. We never learn, League of Nations anyone?

Posted by: Ian [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 3, 2008 7:42 PM

The Pope know better than to let a Skunk in his House. Who in their right mind would ever do that? OK- besides Obama?

Italy is lucky if even they have enough Tomatoes to rid the Country of where Ineedajob has marked.

Why doesn't that intrepid phenomenon known as the European Union want to immediately arrest this guy upon landing in Europe for crimes against humanity? His stance, actions and comments alone on homosexuals in Iran should be sufficient, never mind his inane and insane comments about Israel or his aiding and abetting the killing of American soldiers in Iraq. Hell, isn't there at least one Belgian or Spanish judge out there who wants to do this? Oops, forgot, only Westerners, Israelis included, can commit crimes against humanity in the world view of contemporary Europeans. Never mind.

funny thing about theocracy's they tend to self destruct i think we will see the end of the mullas in iran in a few years on the other hand the jews have been around far longer than the muslims

Ahmanutjob is known to have conned families into giving their children to clear minefields with the promise of paradise for their children. What's unbelievable is that the parents fall for it. There is no love in islam.

Hugh - I wish you were running our government's broadcast to Iran. But the last I heard State had some idiot running rap music with no attempt to communicate on issues, like Radio Free Europe did in the last century. The State Department so needs a good brooming.
