Keystone Kops Alert. I expect that the Keystone quality of this particular story can be attributed to multiculti witlessness, in which authorities assumed that the pious young men wouldn't dream of taking advantage of the opportunity offered by Friday prayers to elude them. To do so, they probably assumed in their befuddled, befogged Openness to Other Cultures, would have been "un-Islamic."
"Bailed terror suspect goes on the run after leaving suicide note," by Richard Edwards and Duncan Gardham for the Telegraph, June 27 (thanks to all who sent this in):
A terrorist suspect on bail for charges linked to an alleged major suicide plot involving mass casualties has gone on the run, Scotland Yard has disclosed. The 23-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is understood to have fled during Friday prayers and left a suicide note at his home.
Under strict bail conditions, he was due to report to police at 7am on Friday. It was reported on Friday night that he escaped while at prayers in a mosque near his home, which he was allowed to attend as part of the conditions. His family are said to have contacted police after they found the note.
"Strict bail conditions." Not all that strict, evidently.
Scotland Yard has launched a massive manhunt, amid fears for the man's welfare. Detectives are playing down the suggestion the note implied he was on a suicide mission to target others.
Yeah, that couldn't be.
The suspect was due to stand trial later this year charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit explosions, amongst other alleged offences. He was given strict bail conditions, which amount to being under house arrest, and would have had his passport confiscated. The exact details of the conditions are unknown because the application was made in secret at court.
House arrest that involved his being able to go to mosque unsupervised?
Police sources said they are "furious" that another terror suspect has gone on the run after being granted bail.
They should be.
They have also faced problems with suspects slipping their control orders and at least three others are being hunted by police having absconded in the past year.Zeeshan Siddiqui, a former London Underground worker linked to the leader of the July 7 bomb plot, has been missing since September last year.
He disappeared after leaping from the window of West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth, west London, where he had been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Raised in Hounslow, west London, he once said he planned to run away to join the mujahideen [holy warriors] in Lebanon. He was also said to have been a friend of British suicide bomber Asif Hanif, who blew himself up in Israel in 2003.
One of the most embarrassing examples of terror suspects flouting control orders occurred in May last year.
Three men - all of whom had been placed under control orders - went on the run after failing to report to the authorities....
And yet procedures have still not been toughened up enough to keep this from happening.

Wow - another would-be suicide bomber back on the loose again in the UK. You really couldn't make it up.
He can't be named due to legal reasons?
Wow - what about the fact that he is a serious risk to the public?
I bet he's called Mohammed anyway - that's prolly the legal reason - they don't want to be accused of Islamophobia by daring mention his name and linking an Islamic Terrorist to Islam.

well color me surprised!!! (sarc off)
Hmmm, left a suicide note....just for him or is he planning on taking as many infidels with him as he can?
When are we going to wake up and stop treating these people as if they were civilized? Time and time again they prove that they care nothing for our law. Yet, they still get bail.

The names and photos of the men who have absconded should be plastered all over England.

CANNOT BE NAMED FOR LEGAL REASONS?
What is the law across the pond? The man is out on bail, having been charged with a crime. He just committed another one. Why can't his name and a full description be handed out to all Brits?
Was the indictment secret or something?
They must be giving him enough time to "escape" to Pakistan.

"Scotland Yard has launched a massive manhunt, amid fears for the man's welfare."
From the article.
And what about the welfare of those he has vowed to kill? Shouldn't SY be concerned about them, or is this not as important as the welfare of an avowed murderer?

Hell, even Kafka gave his accused a rudimentary name- (Joseph K.).
Scotland Yard must use psychics.
"Be on the lookout for... A Man With No Name."
"He is believed to be."
("No description to follow.")
The Keystone Cops, bless their souls, would be insulted by the comparison.
(This gives "secret police" a whole new meaning.)

Anybody want to bet he is hiding out in a mosque because UK authorities stupidly refuse to search mosques?

Advice to UK authorities: police and M15.
Give NO WARNING WHATEVER to the 'Muslim community'.
DO NOT include in this 'loop' any known Muslim members of the police, armed forces, etc and so forth.
Issue a mountain of search warrants.
Without warning: ALL known mosques in Britain, and the houses of their imams, get simultaneously raided and searched, attic to basement, by sniffer dogs and persons expert in spotting such things as false floors, false ceilings, hidden safes, etc. Include the fraud squad, forensic accountants, and persons skilled in the forensic examination of computers (the sort of people who are used to go through the computers of suspected pedophiles and suchlike).
See what you find.
I think you'll find...lots of very interesting things.
It might be interesting.

"WHICH MOSQUE WAS IT?

no one is saying, but the last time this happened when the Muslim prisoner escaped in a mosque, it was reported as "a roadside mosque"...
but it doesn't really matter as all mosques will help Muslim prisoners escape, they are all on the same team..
