Another call for jihad against the U.S. from Pakistan. "Pakistan Islamists vow jihad year after mosque siege," by Zeeshan Haider for Reuters, July 6 (thanks to all who sent this in):
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Thousands of Pakistani Islamists vowed support for jihad, or Muslim holy war, on Sunday as they gathered at a mosque in the capital, Islamabad, to mark the first anniversary of an army raid on the complex.More than 100 people were killed when commandos stormed the Red Mosque complex, which included a madrasa or Islamic seminary, on July 10 last year, after a week-long siege that began when gunmen from the mosque clashed with police outside.
Tiny Minority of Extremists™ Update:
Speakers told a crowd of several thousand, most of them men, that U.S. ally President Pervez Musharraf was to blame for the bloodshed.
When have we ever seen a crowd of several thousand Muslims demonstrating against Osama bin Laden and other "hijackers" of Islam? How many Muslims did the Free Muslims attract for their March Against Terrorism a few years back? Fifty would be a generous estimate.
"Pervez Musharraf, you thought you could crush the Islamic movement by attacking the Lal Masjid (Red Mosque), but we are telling you, you have failed," Shah Abdul Aziz, a cleric and former member of the parliament, told the crowd."It was done at the behest of America and Bush. But I want to tell America jihad will continue, it will never stop," he said.
The protesters, most of them religious students, shouted "al jihad" in response....
Religious students, you say? And not one of them jumped up and said, "Hey, fellows, why are you shouting 'al jihad'? Don't you know jihad is a peaceful interior spiritual struggle?"

"I want to tell America jihad will continue, it will never stop"
That's okay...our resistance against Jihad will never stop.
Well...it will eventually stop when Islam ceases to exist.
Hopefully in my lifetime.
Islam is a lie and truth is killing it.

Bring it on! A jihad-sponsoring Islamic state--the sure path to eventual self-destruction.

-- from Robert's comment above
And of those fifty -- it was actually a few dozen -- how many were Muslims? A dozen? Less?

It seems Pakistan is on the brink of a civil war. Then what? Once the jihadis take over, the nukes will fly.

"I want to tell America jihad will continue, it will never stop"
Oh yeah! Will the US government will stop you and jihad in this country dead in your tracks!
Why someone in the State Department is going to pull out a Montblanc MEISTERSTÜCK SOLITAIRE GOLD & BLACK -- fully loaded mind you; and write up a memo faster than you can wink!
And in that memo will be a directive forbidding the use of the word "jihad!"
So you better watch yourselves!

Oh, go screw yourselves you mass-murdering 7th century Barbarians!
I love saying that.
And, btw, State Dept: Jihad, Jihad, Jihad. I'll use that totally appropriate word whenever I want!

Would that it were true. The war made by West Pakistan on East Pakistan in 1971 was a godsend for India.
The Iran-Iraq War for eight long years tied up the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saddam Hussein's regime, and went on for eight years, and soaked up money from Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., Kuwait, and used up war materiel transferred by the Saudis (I know someone who helped paint over the identifying marks on Saudi tanks). It should have gone on forever.

"...the Islamic movement..."
Movement? A 1400-year movement? Glaciers move faster, make more of a difference to the world, and are far more effective than your..."movement"!
Your movements are being watched and assessed by the less deluded. You may get away with screwing with the Government, but the citizens aren't so soft.

Would that it were true. The war made by West Pakistan on East Pakistan in 1971 was a godsend for India.Yep, but the godsend had an expiry date of 1975, when Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was assassinated, and his successor made Bangladesh an Islamic Republic.
Cue to today, and Bangladesh, not Pakistan, is the leading source of Jihadi activity into India. The 1971 war, in retrospect, would only have made sense had India followed up by expelling all Muslims from that country back to Pakistan, and allowed only Bangladeshi nationalists and Hindus to stay on, and annexed that country to Bengal.
I don't mind a civil war in Pakistan, but not if that's going to mean more refugees into India. Although the western states of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Punjab aren't going to tolerate Muslim immigration into their states the way Left Bengal does.
On the cover headline above, yep, the Jihad will continue as long as Islam exists, and Mohammedans remain Mohammedans. Unless and until someone figures out that one side has to be terminated, victory has to be declared and then the terms of defeat dictated by the victor in a non-negotiable and irreversible manner, the jihad is not going to end.

All I remember from that war was India being overrun by millions of refugees. Bangladesh is an Islamic state and among the world's poorest. India is constructing a fence along the 2500 mile border it shares with Bangladesh, to prevent illegal crossings. The war may have been a godsend but now India has a responsibility to Bangladesh, given the role it played in the country's creation and its own ambition to be a regional power and possibly gain a permanent seat on the Security Council.

Yes, you are right -- it was not a "godsend" insofar as Muslims were permitted, by the local leftist government, to filter into West Bengal State. That is bad.
If the government of India is building a 2500-mile fence to keep out Muslims that's a good thing. It should also demand that West Bengal State send back a great many of those Muslims who have come over the border in the last few decades. India agreed to live, after Paritition, with Muslims, though in Pakistan and Bangladesh Hindus have been so tormented that many have left, and the percentage of non-Muslims in both Pakistan and Bangladesh has gone down.
But India did not agree to permit in an endless number of Muslims who, in order to flee Muslim misrule, but not understanding the "Muslim" nature of that misrule, not making the conection, would flee to India for a better, or less awful, life.

Good job covering the 40,000-person rally for the reinstatement of Chief Justice Chaudry, which included an unusually large number of women. Lezzeee..."several thousand" support terror...40 thousand want rule of law...that means that the terrorism supporters are in fact a tiny minority of extremists, at least in this case. But hey, don't let me stand me stand between you and your Musharrafspeak...

There seems to be an ignored pattern - ignored by the world, the amount of Islamic people that have psychopathic behavior - which enables them to commit the atrocities that we see all around the world. I'm not talking about simple murder which is bad enough. I'm talking about the deeply cruel and unusual crimes and torturing of others that we see like killing their children, cutting off heads, stoning their women, cruelty to animals. The list is endless and they seem to only become more cruel to any and every living thing they encounter.
While we are teaching our children to be fair and nonviolent - Islam is teaching their children to cut off heads with small knives. Do psychiatrists see that Islam has been birthing psychopathic children? Is this psychopathic behavior something that is inherited or does early brainwashing produce the results we see in Islam? Can it enable a very large percentage of a population to have psychopathic behavior? Is it a combination of inherited disease and brainwashing - or does brainwashing at early age have such a profound effect? Does anyone know? Shouldn't this be studied?
Again, it is such a large percentage of the Islamic population, which is capable of committing horrific things to others.

FOr those of you who know little of Mohammad Chaudrey...
'Is Iftkhar Mohammad Chaudry a Judge, a Politician or a back door for Islamic Extremists to Islamic Bomb of Pakistan? By Nazir S Bhatti
Deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Supreme Court, named Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry is leading rallies for his restoration! He is addressing gatherings!! He is challenging dictatorship in press conferences!!! Have you ever seen such a judge around globe? Have you read or heard any news story like this deposed judge of Pakistan?
Sure, any one who does not know true face of Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry shall say “What an amazing man he is who is fighting for human rights and democracy in Pakistan”. The Harvard Law School, Boston, USA, also announced to award him with “Medal of Freedom” on November 14, 2007. Elena Kagan, HLS Dean said “As lawyers who value freedom and the rule of law, we at Harvard Law School want Chief Justice Chaudhry and all of the courageous lawyers in Pakistan to know that we stand with them in solidarity. We are proud to be their colleagues in the cause of justice, and we will do all we can to press for the prompt restoration of constitutionalism and legality in Pakistan”. Likewise, The National Law Journal awarded him with “Lawyer of the Year 2007 Award”.
Do such esteemed organization have knowledge that to a person they are awarding is fruit of martial law and dictatorship? Iftikhar Mohammad Choudry took oath as Baluchistan High Court judge under PCO NO.1 on October 15, 1999, issued by Chief Martial Law Administrator General Pervez Musharraf when he toppled Nawaz Sharif government and suspended constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Moreover, Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry, who claims to be campaigner of democracy, begged dictator Parvez Mushraf to become Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan on February 4, 2000. This so-called symbol of liberty never hesitated to swallow the seniority of his one brother judge to become Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan on June 30, 2005. Does a person who obeyed and flourished under dictator can ever be capable of “Medal of Freedom”?
Let us discuss his advocacy record!!! Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was born on December 12, 1948, in Baluchistan. The Baluchistan is largest province of Pakistan by area and rich with natural resources but Balochi population remained poor being not beneficiary of natural assets. The Baluchistan has long stretched border with Afghanistan and have notable percentage of population of ethnic Pashtoons. The Pashtoon of Baluchistan has strong ties from centuries with South Wazirstan Pashtoon who is in tribal belt of Pakistan. Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry graduated law in 1974 and was appointed Advocate General Baluchistan in 1985. During his practice from 1974-1985, Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry, advocate, never filed any writ-petition in any court of law for due rights of his Balochi or Pashtoon brothers but he supported oppressive governments for better opportunities for him and his family. Do you think, is it fair to award such lawyer with “ Lawyer of the year 2007”?
The deposed Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan enjoyed his rank and file like every other friend of Generals from 2005 till 2007. He was riding BMW and flying on chartered planes while people of Baluchistan were fighting against aggression of federation for their due share in resources of province but Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry was silent. Being a son of soil, he was a spectator of falling corps of Balochi sons because he never loved Baluchistan, his own birth land.
Which cases he heard in year 2007, in Supreme Court of Pakistan? The Pakistan Steel Mills Privatization case, Haba Bill case, Missing people case, Nawaz Sharif case to come back home and President Musharraf,s second term election case. The case about Nawaz Sharif and missing people attracted attention of common persons in Pakistan and around the globe. The similarity in both cases was to challenge authority of Armed Forces of Pakistan but in missing people case allegedly American agencies FBI and CIA were also targeted in disappearance of many Pakistani nationals by ISI, IB and MI in pursuance of War against Terrorism.
The armed forces of Pakistan were fighting against militants and religious extremists in tribal areas adjacent to Afghanistan while military operation was also underway in Baluchistan to suppress people who were struggling for their equal basic democratic rights. Thousands of Balochi were arrested and killed while Taliban were arresting hundreds of army soldiers without any resistance in Waziristan. There was another front of silent Talibans operating in Islamabad, to capture capital of Pakistan and take control of Islamic Bomb to use against western countries. It was Lal Masjid and Madrasa Fafsa, where students were receiving terrorist’s training with support of Taliban in tribal areas of Pakistan. The women students were specially trained for actions to take control of government installation in Islamabad while clerics of ‘Red Mosque’ were openly challenging writ of the government with announcements of parallel Sharia law. During the Soviet war in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989, the Red Mosque played a major role in recruiting and training Mujahideen to fight with the Afghan Mujahideen. After Abdullah was assassinated in 1998, his sons Abdul Aziz and Abdul Rashid Ghazi took over the mosque, making it a center for hard-line Sunni Deobandi teaching and open opposition to the government. On July 10, 2007, government forces attacked Lal Masjid after negotiation failed but there was strong reaction from Ayman al-Zawahiri, Al-Qaeda's second in command, who released a message against armed forces urging people of Pakistan to wage Jihad.
Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry issued verdict that Nawaz Sharif can come back to Pakistan from exile which was highly appreciate by people of Punjab but in proceedings of missing persons case his behavior was very strange. He used to call high-ranking police and military officers to appear in court and deliberately kept them waiting outside his courtroom for hours. He used to pretend like chief executive of Pakistan instead to act like Chief Justice of Pakistan. It was clearly noted that he had motive to discourage officials who acted promptly against terrorists and extremist religious elements in Pakistan. The suicide bombers were free on streets, mosques were attacked and churches were destroyed but Iftikhar Mohammad had no intentions to take notice of such incidents.
Under such circumstances, President Musharraf decided to make him "non functional Chief Justice" on March 9, 2007, but he resisted on intimation of religious political parties to support him if he weakens establishment against terrorism.
The move to make Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry ‘non functional’ was immediately followed by another decision by the president to send a reference under Article 209 of the Constitution of Pakistan to the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) to investigate allegations of misconduct against him. Soon after the oath taking ceremony, the SJC went into a session and decided to call on Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on 13 March to answer the allegations of misconduct leveled against him. Presided over by Acting Chief Justice Javed Iqbal. The SJC also ordered the Chief Justice not to perform functions as judge of the Supreme Court or as the Chief Justice until the council decided on the reference. Apex court judges namely Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar and Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry and Chief Justice Sindh High Court Sabihuddin Ahmad, who had flown into Islamabad earlier in the day, also attended the SJC meeting.
The real drama came in play on March 12, 2007, when lawyers affiliated PPP, PML (N), Jamat-e-Islami and other religious groups began boycotting all court procedures in protest against the suspension. The lawyer’s protest was not peaceful but violent and twenty lawyers were injured in clashes with police in Lahore.
On March 13, 2007, deposed justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry appeared before SJC but he insulted council of his brother justices by issuing a press release denouncing the moves against him saying “neither President Musharraf nor the SJC had the authority to prevent him from working”. It was true face of Iftikhar Mohammad chaudry that he had no respect of institutions of Justice nor for constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan but same judges reinstated him as Chief Justice of SCP on July 20, 2007, in a decision on reference filed by government.
During hearings on reference, on April 13, 2007, before Supreme court building Qazi Hussian Ahmad and Imran Khan were leading protest along with workers of PPP, PML (N), Jamat-e-Islami, Tahreek-e-Insaf and ANP, which is enough to support secret links between religious groups and deposed chief justice.
Listen to language and tone of deposed Chief Justice in Lahore on May 6, 2007, when he was addressing a public gathering “dictatorships will inevitably be 'destroyed' because nations and states that are based on dictatorship instead of the supremacy of the constitution, the rule of law and protection of basic rights get destroyed”. Was it not a contempt of court to discuss reference in public and to pressure court with public speeches? But judges hearing reference against him not took any notice.
Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudry created law and order situation in Pakistan when clashes erupted in Karachi on May 12, 2007, and 40 people were killed. Still, there was no move in Supreme Court and no case was registered against him. Does he wanted to reach on seat of Chief Justice at any cost weather these are dead bodies of innocent people? He even wanted to crush his brother judges who issued verdict to reinstate him? He calls his brother judges of Supreme Court to be De-fecto judges because they took oath under PCO but forgot that he by himself took oath under PCO to become a justice.
It is June 11, 2008, and again he is on “Long March” to Islamabad with thousands of people. Who are participants of his rally? A couple of thousand lawyers, leaders who begged for amnesty from a dictator and majority of workers of religious groups. Why he is so eager that he cannot wait for decision of parliament? Does he want to create law and order situation in Pakistan? Does he want to drag army in this conflict to weaken security of atomic installations in Pakistan? People, he is different man, not a Justice but a puppet whose strings are in some hidden hands who are spending millions on his gatherings and rallies!!! Are they same elements who want to steal Islamic bomb to destroy innocent people to whom they call infidels
