Relatives of 7/7 London jihad bomber hold party at his grave

Ghouls. "Relatives of July 7 bomber hold PARTY at his grave to 'celebrate his life,'" from the Daily Mail, July 7 (thanks to Paul):

A party is being held at the grave of a 7/7 bomber in what is being seen as an insult to the 52 London commuters murdered three years ago today.

The family of Shehzad Tanweer and 400 guests will 'celebrate his life' and 'remember him as a martyr' at a village in Pakistan.

Tanweer, 22, along with Mohammad Sidique Khan, 30, Hasib Hussain, 18, and 19-year-old Jermaine Lindsay, died when they detonated rucksack bombs on three crowded Tube trains and a No.30 bus.

Tanweer's uncle, 42-year-old property developer Tahir Pervez, is organising the celebration in which verses of the Koran will be read out then curry and rice distributed at his home in Samundari.

'The party is kept very secret from people outside the village but everyone knows it happens every year,' said one villager who asked not be named.

'People are invited to join in blessing Shehzad Tanweer's soul by reading verses from the Koran and they call on us to remember Shehzad as a shahid (martyr).'

The gathering has twice been held in secret - yards from Aldgate bomber Tanweer's grave which is fiercely protected from outsiders. It is the largest in the cemetery of the village called Chak 477 and is opposite the mosque.

His epitaph bears the phrase 'La ilaha il Mohammed dur rasool Allah' which means 'There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is his messenger.'

Andrew Dismore, MP for Hendon said: 'It is absolutely appalling that his family are choosing to mark the date in this way. What are the Pakistan government doing about this? 'Five people from five different ethnic and religious groups died from my constituency on 7 July 2005 and this is a damning insult to their memory and their family members.

'Most Muslims would be absolutely horrified, as I am, that Shehzad Tanweer is being remembered by some people as a martyr.'

What is your evidence for that assertion, Mr. Dismore?

Meanwhile, toddlers in UK to be harassed by Big Brother for "racism" if they use the term "Paki". Pakistanis who venerate murdering "martyrs"? Celebrate diversity, you Islamophobic racist!

'La ilaha il Mohammed dur rasool Allah' Just hearing that makes me vomit. It is one of most disgusting sounds that I have ever heard. The call for the blood thirsty god of allah and his pedophile war monger and robber lowlife the MoHAMtheMUD or MUCK.

It's hard to speak to those whose loved ones were killed by barbarians but maybe our best course of action is to ignore these people. They just want to get a rise out of all of us. The opposite of love is indifference. Has the community turned its back on these families and refused to deal with them in any way, much as the LA glitterati turned their backs on OJ? If not, it should.

'People are invited to join in blessing Shehzad Tanweer's soul by reading verses from the Koran and they call on us to remember Shehzad as a shahid (martyr).'

Islam recognizes a soul? One that can be 'blessed' by 'people', and verses from the Quran?
These people are full of delusional material, no wonder they are so screwed up...

the property belonging to the uncle should be confiscated in a wrongful death suit, if there are such things in the UK, and the family should be denied reentry back into the UK.

"Five people from five different ethnic and religious groups died from my constituency on 7 July 2005 and this is a damning insult to their memory and their family members."

I wonder if MP Dismore is including whites in his indignation.

P.S.: at least 37 people were mass-murdered in the tube bombings, not 5. Many more could have died as well. Over 700 were injured. Dismore's odd ethnically correct arithmetic is also a damning insult to the memory of the dead and to their family members.

Pakistan is going to get it reward. Terrible people.

Posted by: Ruebacca [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 7, 2008 11:10 AM

Correction: I see that 57 people were killed in the 7/7 bombings (I must have accessed an early story before the full count had been tallied).

Reminds me of the Bosnian SLC mall shooter, who was given a hero's funeral in Bosnia once his body was sent back.

How does one expect any less of Pakistan?

Q: Will this story cause the UK to reconsider its immigration policy for pakistanis?

A: What are you, an islamophobe?

Posted by: sheik yer booty [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 7, 2008 11:56 AM

Dismore, of what relevance is it, that the dead from your constituency were of different 'ethnic and religious groups'?

Their importance to this story, solely, is that they were murdered by members of one religious group, in pursuit of the stated goals of their religion, and with the tacit and not-so-tacit support of large numbers of that same religious group.

The time is long since past to stop pretending.

'People are invited to join in blessing Shehzad Tanweer's soul by reading verses from the Koran and they call on us to remember Shehzad as a shahid (martyr).'

Why are they reading verses from the Koran? I thought Islam has nothing to do with terrorism?

.............

The gathering has twice been held in secret . . .
..............

How "secret" can a party of 400, held right opposite the mosque, really be?

Good to know that Shehzad Tanweer, a 22-year-old homicide bomber, is considered the village's most honored citizen, since his grave is "the largest in the cemetery".

Seeing what a society chooses to celebrate is *very* instructive. Here in the US, we just celebrated Independence Day--a tribute to freedom, a celebration of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".

These Pakistanis are celebrating the actions of a man and three other thugs who brutally mass murdered 56 of their fellow British citizens, who were peacefully on their way to work.

Even though Tanweed was a second-generation British citizen, it is clear that his family in no way considered him to be British. They considered him to be Muslim, first, and then Pakistani. The fact that he was "British" just gave him easy access to unwitting Infidel victims.

Why on earth was he buried in an identifiable grave out of the country?

Why wasn't he buried in an unmarked grave or better still cremated and scattered somewhere?

Wtf is wrong with this country?

DenverRodeo, your comment that "at least 37 people were mass-murdered in the tube bombings, not 5. Many more could have died as well. Over 700 were injured. Dismore's odd ethnically correct arithmetic is also a damning insult to the memory of the dead and to their family members" is ill-informed.

Mr Dismore is absolutely correct in saying that five people from his constituency died in the attacks and perfectly justified in pointing out the diversity of their ethnicity in this context.

Perhaps you're not familiar with the word "constituency"?

It simply means the geographical area which he represents as a Member of Parliament.

And, in the interests of "correct arithmetic", there were 52 dead, not 37.

Time to send a pin pointed accurate missile via US military strike into the land of the pak.

The whole thing is symbolic but no less offensive for all that but the IRA did the same thing when their people blew themselves up, although they did it accidentally. Symbolic because what is usually left of these bombers (and sadly some of their victims) could be put in a small envelope and mailed to Pakistan.

The Russians are said to have sewn up the bodies of the muslims they killed in the Moscow theatre siege in pigskins and buried them in a secret location. I believe this will prevent them ever going to paradise and claiming their quota of virgins and because they cannot get in they will not be able to sponsor 70 or so members of their families for fast track admission. This must be really tough on them. I also read that in the Philippines in the 1890’s the US Army buried dead muslim guerrillas in pits of pig manure for the same reason. But of course such disgraceful practices are denied to modern democracies. We are so noble we prefer to be killed rather than offend the vast majority of peaceful muslims.

However it would be a nice gesture on behalf of the vast majority of peaceful muslims if Shahid Malik, the UK's first Muslim minister - on television tonight complaining about victimisation of muslims since 7/7 – was to denounce the family as mis-understanders of islam.

What are the chances?

The Daily Telegraph version of this story includes the following:

"Mr Pervez said he had visited his sister, Tanweer's mother, Parveen, in Leeds three or four times since the bombings, adding: "Shehzad used to visit me every year with his family. Of course because I am his uncle, I still have fond feelings for my nephew. I am leaving again in two weeks time and this time I will be staying with my uncles, aunts and yes, even at Shehzad's home.
Even though immigration authorities ask me questions, they usually do not realise who I am."

Well I hope they realise now !

Fred, coincidently, the first thought I had upon reading the article is why doesn't someone prepare the grave site for the celebrants by adorning it with pig entrails? Or at least a steaming heap of dog excrement?

Posted by: Infidel33 [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 7, 2008 7:48 PM

The remains of these suicide bombers were buried with more than 20.000 mourners in attendance. What does that tell you?

Sorry, can't find a link...

It's a good job he is buried in p*ki land.
Were he buried in the UK a lot of people would be "caught short" and have an overwhelming urge to "relieve themselves" whilst passing his grave.
I for one would!!

"GOOD NOW DONT LET THEM BACK INTO THE UK OR ANYWERE IN THE WEST THEY SHOULD BE HANGING THERE HEADS IN SHAME"

Correct that statement, delete the last 4 words.

Acts such as that should not be deemed terrorism, they should be deemed treason.
All those guilty of assisting the plotters in any way should be charged with treason and face a death penalty.
