Islam, the demoralization of billions, children not excluded. He is old enough to be a soldier, but his brain washed ideology, the reason for his militancy, is as old as he is, much older even. Allah starts in on them at birth, and never lets up. He is a fresh product of Allah, as his father is an older product of Allah. The boy may be 'misunderstanding' the Quran, and I doubt he knows or understands much of world politics, but he knows how to fire his weapon, and what direction to point it in, and that's what is important. That and the propaganda photo op...

Islam must indoctrinate its young in order to perpetuate itself. In order for it to be defeated, we have to find a way to stop it from cultivating new generations of Islamists in a similar manner to the method used to stop shintoism in Japan after WWII.

Were I a Moslem terrorist or youth training in a suicide-bomber madrassa, I would be wondering how Junior Osama, here, had reached the ripe age of 16 without carrying out a terrorist mission. And then I would be wondering about O's 17 other sons; why are they still alive? Have any of O's kin carried out any terror attacks? Or are they simply the cheerleaders, encouraging others to die for Islam?
A year or two ago, one imam urged Moslem mothers to each bear ten children, and give eight of them to Allah (i.e. to die in attacks on the non-believers), keeping only two for themselves.
So why hasn't O. given 14 or 15 of his sons (and for that matter, an equivalent percentage of his daughters) to Allah?
So c'mon Osama, I've heard you talk the talk, now let's see you (and your family) walk the walk!
So as a young terrorist-in-training, these thoughts would be enough for me to quit the madrassa, and go home to help Papa tend his goats. Besides, with all those cute nannies, who needs the 72 virgins?

Does anyone remember the story, a year and a half ago, of Osama bin Laden’s niece, Wafah Dufour, who posed for racy pictures in GQ?

Much was made of this. For one thing, it is odd that a willingness to pose for pinups would be considered the hallmark of an embrace of Western values. The subtext, though, *always*, was that while Osama bin Laden might live in a cave high in the remote mountains of Afghanistan, plotting the death of Westerners, that the next generation was completely modern, and nothing to worry about.

In the accompanying interview, Ms. Dufour complained that “I want to be accepted here, but I feel that everybody’s judging me", because of the bin Laden surname. She changed her name to "Dufour", which was her mother's maiden name. It all seems so unfair and judgemental--how could anyone have a problem with the name "bin Laden"?

Unfortunately, young "Sheikh" Hamza Bin Laden, clutching his AK47 and calling for the destruction of Britain, might be a bit more indicative of the legacy of Osama bin Laden than is Ms. Dufour.

Don't let him off the hook by saying he never had a chance. He did and he does. If he chooses not to take it then I will shrug (if not cheer) at his death.
A sixteen-year-old should know what it means to love (not romantically - familially) and if he doesn't then he's not worth saving. He should know how he would feel if daddy got blown up tomorrow.
A six or seven year old maybe never had a chance, but not a sixteen year old. He's had time to experience life. He's been taught how to treat his fellow Muslims, hasn't he? He knows what it means to treat others with respect.
He's not worth anyone's sympathy.
