You might call it the Samir Kuntar Effect. "Jordan urged to free killer of Israeli schoolgirls," from Agence France-Presse, July 21:
AMMAN: King Abdullah II was urged on Sunday to pardon a Jordanian soldier who is serving a life sentence for killing seven Israeli schoolgirls in 1997. "After around 12 years in prison, Ahmad Dakamseh deserves your majesty's special pardon," a group of 70 Islamists, unionists, lawyers, human rights activists and former officials said in a signed letter to the king. In March 1997, Dakamseh fired an automatic weapon at a group of Israeli schoolgirls as they visited Baqura, a scenic peninsula on the Jordan River near the Israeli border, killing seven and wounded five others as well as a teacher. "Following the recent release of Arab prisoners, we hope to see Dakamseh free again," they said, referring to Israel's prisoner swap with Lebanon's Hizbullah last week. The signatories Islamic Action Front secretary general Zaki Bani Rsheid, former prime minister and intelligence department director Ahmad Obeidat, Jordan Bar Association head Saleh Armouti, and Hani Dahleh, president of the Arab Human Rights Organization. "The current political stage requires a policy that would make people happy and ease their socio-economic and political pressures. Pardoning Dakamseh will have a great effect on people," the letter said

" Arab Human Rights Organization. "
Pardon me, but isn't that an oxymoron??
And please someone explain to me how freeing this murderer will "make people happy and ease their socio-economic and political pressures." Is he going to get out and give everyone money?
I'll say it again....they have unmitigated gall.

I wish someone from the so called Jordanian "BAR ASSOCIATION" would please identify some legal grounds for this release.
Was Damkemseh mis-identified by an eyewitness?
Did the police coerce a confession through torture?
Did someone plant evidence against him?
No. I didn't think so. The legal ground for this appeal is "to make people happy"?
These aren't lawyers writing this letter. At least not lawyers in any civilized sense. Yet they attempt to legitimize themselves by appearing to support "justice" and renounce "injustice" by taking on the identity of a "BAR" association.
Sharia law is a sad joke. Sharia lawyers are depraved reprobates.

Anyone with a basic and realistic grasp of islam will not be in the least surprised by this. Actually I'm surprised that he's been in jail this long which is a credit to Jordan. This actually is a good test to see the Jordanian governments reaction and I hope that Jihad Watch will keep an eye on it for me.

Tie the "Foreign Aid" (AKA Taqqiya) to this issue. They release him, let's watch how "happy" they are without any "Foreign Aid" or tourist from the west. After all the State Department claims we get to influence these people with this “Aid”… lets tie the “aid” to how much we can influence them with regard to Jihadist killers, same with Yemen and all the other Mohammedan cesspools.

Gee, I wonder where Abdullah's step-mother, Queen Noor, that paragon of enlightened thought and proper regard for the nation of her birth, will come down on this one? Can't wait.

There's always two sides to everything.
Corporal Dakamseh says he fired at the Israeli girls because they mocked and disturbed him as he prayed.

Mohammedanism is a mockery of a "religion" and disturbs the peace in the west, so following the logic of Corporal Dakamseh, the west now gets to do what?...
Simple fact is that being mocked, insulted or disturb by some one else is not considered a capital offense by sane people.

this whole thing disturbes me, so using the same thought process, kill dakamseh and six of his family members and wound five more. yes this makes complete sense to me and i'm sure the whole world....not!!!!!!!!!

..................................
*Human rights activists*? The "Arab Human Rights Organization" must be a human rights organization in the same way that the Holyland Foundation (funder of violent Jihad) is a "charity".
Again, we see what the Muslim world esteems. What would "make them happy"? Releasing another murderer of little girls. Appalling.
at July 20, 2008 11:17 PM
King Abdullah II could go a long way toward preventing "islamophobia". He could tell those requesting that the murderer be released that he is unable to pardon him due to the heinousness of the crime.
That would help people like me believe that somewhere in this world, there is at least one prominent muslim who wants to do the right thing.

Muslim definition of a real man: someone who shoots defenseless little girls from the other side of the river.
Western definition of a real man: someone who brings such a scumbag to justice.

Twelve years for seven murdered girls? That's 1.9 years for each girl. Less than two years for each murder. Is that enough? It is if you Islam count.
The way I count, that's seven life sentences with no parole.

"Following the recent release of Arab prisoners, we hope to see Dakamseh free again," they said, referring to Israel's prisoner swap with Lebanon's Hizbullah last week.
The precedent has been set.

I have just received from Amazon my copy of Andrew Bostom's magnificent anthology: "The Legacy of Islamic Anti-Semitism".
It contains, among other things, on page 329, this one-liner from a prominent Muslim Sufi theologian, mystic and Muslim revivalist in India, Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi (1564-1624):
"Whenever a Jew is killed, it is for the benefit of Islam".
Until we grasp that this single ghastly statement is not exceptional but typical, we will not grasp why the Muslim world has hailed as a hero the psychopath Samir Kuntar (who murdered three Jews, including a defenceless little girl) ...or why "a group of 70 Islamists, unionists, lawyers, human rights activists and former officials" are now petitioning the king of Jordan to pardon and let out of prison a fellow Muslim who - for murdering seven Jewish school-girls for allegedly 'insulting' him [betcha the 'insult' was almost entirely imaginary] - has merely spent twelve years in prison.
Question: what is the penalty, *in Jordan*, for murdering a fellow Muslim (except, of course, unless the victim is a man's daughter/ sister/ mother/ cousin/ niece/ wife, and the ritual human sacrifice is performed to 'purify' or cleanse the family of the victim's perceived 'offence' [actual, or, more often, entirely imaginary] against 'honour')?
We do know that in the Sira and the Hadith it is made quite, quite plain that Muslims are to regard the lives of non-Muslims as being of less value than the lives of Muslims.

" Arab Human Rights Organization. "
Pardon me, but isn't that an oxymoron??
From a posting above.
It makes perfect sense. Because only Muslims are human, so only Muslims can have human rights. Unbelievers are the 'vilest of creatures' and the 'sons of apes and swine'.
You wanted context, now you got it.
In other news"
Looks like David Hicks aka Mahmud Dowoud aka Abu Australis is geting onto the blogs. Here he is with virulent Jew-hatred on Andrew Bolt:

Another gem:
Yet they attempt to legitimize themselves by appearing to support "justice" and renounce "injustice"
'Justice' for the Islamaniacs always means sharia.
'Injustice' or 'oppression' means not getting their way, or having infidels rule over them.
That's all...

I got a sneakin' suspicion that if that POS was in a US prison someone woulda killed his ass real quick like.
There, he was a hero...greatly admired.
Islam is a lie and truth is killing it.

I was working in Israel during the arrest of Dakamseh for killing those 7 schoolgirls on (the ironically named) "Peace Islamd". Daily, there were mobs of protestors outside the Jordanian jail where he was being held; carrying signs declaring Dakamseh was a hero and a patriot and should be rewarded a medal, not incarcerated, for only exterminating the offspring of swine and monkeys.
This was in 1997 and was the first time I realised that something was seriously twisted with this "religion" called Islam.

Fair trade, fair trade, fair trade.
Meant his 'live' body.
