Another tractor attack in Jerusalem

"A man" is responsible for this one. Time to turn over all the tractors to women.

"New digger 'attack' in Jerusalem," from the BBC, July 22 (thanks to Visvas):

A man driving a mechanical digger has carried out an attack in Jerusalem and has been shot dead, the Israeli emergency services say.

Police say the driver rammed other traffic before he was shot dead. Eleven people were reported injured.

The driver's identity was not immediately clear.

Earlier this month, a Palestinian driving a similar vehicle killed three people and wounded dozens of others in Jerusalem before being shot dead.

The attack took place in a busy part of central West Jerusalem, close to the King David Hotel where US presidential candidate Barack Obama will be staying on Tuesday night during a visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories....

An obvious Transformer attack.

No, it doesn't tell you who did it, but when you read the article in a certain way, it sounds like a bunch of clues to a riddle. Every statement seems to be a hint.

Debka reported the terrorists name as Ghasam Abu-Tir. He is a relative of Hamas “lawmaker” Muhammad Abu Tir aka "redbeard", sitting in an israeli prison. This dyed beardo is following Mo's example:

This is why responding good-guys do and should shoot at the driver, not the vehicle.

buraq - What's with that beard? It is a color found nowhere in nature. If he was made to wear that thing, he'd have grounds for claiming cruel and unusual punishment. Did Mo (pbuh) dye his whiskers as well?

MP:

That beard is dyed henna, in imitation of Muhammad.

"A BBC correspondent says it is thought the 2 July attacker was simply a disturbed man without political motivation - but Israelis will worry Tuesday's incident was a copycat attack and that this could now be a new tactic."

I guess the BBC is sticking with that story.

"Police said the driver was from a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank which Israel has designated part of the enlarged Jerusalem municipality."

Say what?

This is why an armed citizenry is crucial. The man was stopped by an armed citizen in the area.

"Senator Obama, could you give us your opinion about this latest terrorist attack?"

-- They'll NEVER ask him that question.

Posted by: PersonOfTheBook [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 22, 2008 11:02 AM

Maybe instead of killing the man, they should have asked Obama to talk to him?

Posted by: DJM [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 22, 2008 11:23 AM

In one of my "Street Survival" books there's a picture of a cop pointing a gun at some bozo in a bulldozer, as though that was supposed to be just what the doctor ordered.

If I recall correctly, the book explains that the cop was killed when the bad guy dropped the blade on him.

Of course, the BBC dare not break its pc mantra and tell us the damned obvious - that this attack was religiously motivated, and trying to murder jews is what 'good' Muslims do according to the Sufi jurist Sirhinsi (d 1621) in this quote: "Whenever a Jew is killed, it is for the benefit of Islam."

Well, if this "Heavy Equipment Jihad" keeps up, Senator Obama might get an up-close look at the "Religion of Peace" right outside his hotel window.

I doubt it would make much of an impresion on him, though. Let's hope the Israelis keep those 'dozers locked up, instead.

Hmmm. Seems tractors and Muslims don't mix well. Seems a lot of things don't mix well with Muslims.

Posted by: Wellington [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 22, 2008 1:06 PM

Will Obama unequivically condemn this as an act of terrorism? Naaah.
