Will they have a parade of amputees? A gallery of stoning victims? A museum of dhimmitude? Seminars on the how-tos of wife-beating?
"Iran: President declares 5 August 'Islamic human rights day,'" from AKI, July 24 (thanks to C.C.):
Tehran, 24 July (AKI) - Iran's Supreme Cultural Revolution Council headed by hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has declared 5 August an annual international Islamic human rights day.The conservative-dominated council also nominated 12 July as an annual 'National Virtue Day for the Veil'.
Imagine the fashion shows!

I can hardly wait. I wonder how many beheadings, stonings, hangings, amputations, and floggings there will be.

"'National Virtue Day for the Veil'."
well, the veil certainly has stopped the rapes, adultry, honor killings, and incest,...well, Hasn't it?...

off-topic, but important:
I just linked to the ROP website, and clicked on the topic "Iranian film praises killers ...", and a pop-up appeared saying my security had detected and blocked an attempted worm attack. Has anyone else had this experience?
Be careful.

"Islamic" human rights day - What, no human rights for non-Muslims? I guess we all know the answer to that. . .

The Islamic moralisation campaign has also targeted satellite dish owners and alcohol consumption,as well as boutiques selling western food, western music, and dog-walking.
Yeah, gotta crack down on that dog-walking! It's ruining society!

Of COURSE they have to declare an Islamic Human Rights Day. It's special ... unlike something Islamists have any OTHER day ...

But if they have 'National Virtue Day for the Veil' first the women won't be able to see and be aware of much on "Islamic Human Rights Day". I mean what's the point in that, heh?

I'm wondering what the parade will look like. Maybe I'll tune in to BBC America and see the highlights.

There are nine (as of three days ago) convicted criminals in Iran to face stoning at anytime. Eight women, one man. All convicted of adultery.
Human rights Islamic style. All to appease their blood thirsty god. These are not executions, they are public torture to death programs. Even the size of the rocks are calculated to keep the person living and conscious as long as possible. The only reason for this is to prolong suffering.
This is enough to gag a maggot. It's worse than that, it's disgusting. Only seriously sick people could endorse such a thing, and even sicker people carry it out. And these people claim superiority.
The primitive intellect functions best in the arenas of sex and/or violence. Islam is top heavy with both. Even the act of 'stoning' has sexual symbolism. Islam is ultimately a sex and violence cult. Iran shows what life is like when the cultists are in charge.
What has this to do with human rights??? Absolutely nothing...nothing at all...

The August 5th anniversary of Hiroshima's destruction has a special place in the heart of old Amadhandjob. He and his crew will be all decked out in leisure suits and robes to deliver another condemnation of the US for ending World War II as they work their scientists feverishly to develop the means to start World War III. One can only hope their using "Islamic Science."
Perhaps he and the other actors in his evolving epic, Suicide of Iran, will update us on their progress. Didn't they live underground in Beneath the Planet of the Apes?

Thanks for the lightness and cleverness for what is in fact (as stated) an oxymoron, antonymic (not sure if this is a word) phrase. It perfectly shows the truth of what Islam is in a negative sense.
I am reminded of a biblical phrase;
Matt 7:20
Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit that is produced.
مات 7:20
نعم ، لتحديد الطريقة شجرة او شخص ما من نوع من انواع الفاكهة التي ينتج.

Hey, have you guys heard of this one yet?
http://www.nzz.ch/nachrichten/schweiz/libyen_stopp_oellieferungen_schweiz_1.791416.html
Gaddafis son got arrested in Switzerland for beating his employees.. the same son [or ayou-know-what] who shot a gas pistol at a waiter's face at a 5 star hotel in Germany recently.
Apparrently the Swiss had some of what the Germans need to grow and they arrested the guy.
So here comes wacky muammar arreesting Swiss citizens at random and threatening an oil embargo on Switzerland.
Ahh.. these wacky Middle Easterners.. what would the world be like without them!

That's what that Doodoo and his "racism raconteuring" in Switzerland of all places is all about.

How cynical, how sinister and how downright disgraceful a corrupt regimes actions and deeds become, when left unchecked to fester and literally get away with murder.
How to stop these criminals?
A show of strength and of things to come, if they don't start behaving like civilised human beings and allowing the Iranian people to live a normal free life.

I imagine the beheading workshop is to die for, as would be the leather-thong hijab seminars -- which includes the proper handling of a cat-o-nine-tails; convienintly located next to the wife-beating class.
The kiddies will have a bomb-belt exhibit featuring their favorite Disney character.
Sounds like fun for the whole muslim family.

Don't be SURPRISED if they use the "occassion" to have a MASS STONING of the Condemmed.
That could be exactly what they have in mind.
Since in Islam everything is backwards(Justice=injustice,up=down, etc)"ISLAMIC HUMAN RIGHTS DAY" is a PERFECT name for Mass EXECUTION for NO GOOD REASON!

I get it -- the right to be a slave to the moon-god allah. In Achmenutjob's mind, the privelege of being a slave to allah is the highest form of human rights.
I'm sure glad that the real God, the God of the Bible, treats his servants with lovingkindness, rather than torture, pain, and death.

They'll culminate the day's activities with a good old county fair. In one booth, you can pay $1 to throw three rocks at an adulterer. In another booth, you can watch a demonstration of an executioner cutting off a thief's hand. The husband will get a demonstration on how to beat his wives without leaving any marks on them.
Of course, the gays will have a "swinging" time. (Oh wait, I forgot, there aren't any gays in Iran.)
Then they will finish the night off with fireworks -- a bunch of missiles fired in the direction of Israel.

Someone should declare August 5 the day when the Mullah tried to steal the show. The only way he can do that is to grow the world's longest beard. In Afghanistan, each hair in a Mullah's beard has 100 Satans hanging from it.
As for the veil day, I'm sure some Mullah in Iran has the monopoly on the veil-making industry. He's gonna get big bucks out of this.
