The families of the four wounded Muslim police officers might beg to differ. "Algeria: Al-Qaeda claims responsibility for suicide attacks" from Adnkronos, August 6:
Algiers, 6 August (AKI) - Al-Qaeda's branch in North Africa has claimed responsibility for two recent suicide attacks that wounded 25 people including four police officers, according to a statement posted on Islamist forums on Wednesday.[...]According to the web statement, the suicide attack in Tizi Ouzou was carried out by a young man named Abu Mariam (photo).
"He drove a truck laden with 600 kilogrammes of explosives and hit two important targets: the headquarters of the secret services and local police", said the statement.
"The Tizi Ouzou attacker Abu Mariam is the son of one of the tribes in the area, and was very careful to avoid spilling the blood of even one Muslim."
"We tell the sons of France , the slaves of America, and their masters too, that our finger is on the trigger and the convoys of martyrs are longing to rampage your bastions in defence of our Islamic nation," said the statement.
The previous attack on the town of Lakhdariya, east of Algiers, was reportedly carried out by Abdel Malik Abdel Mara.
He reportedly blew himself up as he drove a motorbike laden with 70 kilogrammes of explosives into a military convoy, wounding at least 13 soldiers.

I really wish they would. There would be convoys of martyrs, all right; but they wouldn't be doing much rampaging against our bastions once a few A-10's got through with them. Lots of martyrs, indeed, but precious little rampaging.
And with whom would these convoys be filled? Women? Children? They seem to be running low on men willing to be martyrs.

A casual reading of this would lead one to believe that the targets were either French and American, ot that Al-Qaeda leaders were praising Abu Mariam for not killing any of his victims. I think both are unlikely.
No one rams a truck laden with 600 kilogrammes of explosives hoping to just injure his victims.
As for the first, I think it is nothing but more Takfir.
As far as Al-Qaeda is concerned, Abu Mariam didn't "spill the blood of even one Muslim" because they don't consider Algerian secret servicemen and police to be "real" Muslims. I think that is the way to read this.
What a convenient thing Takfir is! Hate someone? Just decide they are really Infidels, no more that "sons of France" or "slaves of America", and suddenly they are legtimate targets.

Bring it on, morons. This sort of stuff, when you look at it closely, you get a feel for the inability to reason properly which is inculcated into mawzlems from birth.
"We will win, because we have so many people wanting to kill themselves". What? What kind of a success strategy is that? We have weapons that you couldn't even imagine in your darkest nightmares, so, come on, bring it on.
And it's the hand-wring liberals and socialists in the West, the moral equivalency brigade, who are feeding and encouraging this. They are at least partly responsible for many of the deaths worldwide that occur as part of the global jihad. Why? Because it is the hand-wringing, quavering liberals who prevent our armed forces from conducting a war, who impose ridiculous and unsustainable rules of engagement, when what is needed, the only thing the enemy would understand, is total and devastating defeat, of the kind suffered by Germany and Japan in the last World War.
And that's what will happen, eventually.

It should be obvious to a five year old that Islam is barbaric, evil, and a massive threat to our civilization and the freedoms we take for granted today. They don't want people to know that Western civilization has been put on the line many times over the centuries by Islamic fanatics, and that we only enjoy freedom because we defeated these murderous savages on battlefields as far apart as Covadonga, Tours and Vienna. Even if we don't lose on the battlefield, we're certain to lose on the home front courtesy of these traitorous wimps.
