I hope this is the first in a series, with the next one, or the next several, to go into the worldview that Islam inculcates, with all of mankind divided into Believers and Infidels, anhd with the mistreatment of Infidels being discussed at length, including a discussion of many of the political, economic, and social disabilities which the slightly-favored category of Infidels, that is "the People of the Book" -- must endure, as dhimmis, a status that means humiliation, degradation, and permanent physical insecurity.

This first one, about women, was very good, but it would be far better as part of a series, on Islam, not on "Islam and the West" but on the real division, expressed in the title "Islam and All The Rest."

Why "speaks truth to power"? Has not that phrase been so overused, and by all the wrong people -- we all know Edward Said "spoke truth to power" and Noam Chomsky still "speaks truth to power" and Ward Churchill likewise "speaks truth to power" and Rev. Wright of course "speaks truth to power," and all such hideous or insidious souls, we have been told by their admirers over so many years, have all along been "speaking truth to power" (yes, we all know that they risk, every minute of every day, being cast into that Amnerican Gulag into which political prisoners are sent, never to be heard from again).

Rather than attempt to apply the phrase in a situation where it may be fitting, one should recognize that the phrase itself cannot at this point shed its comical associations and the effects of its overuse and misuse, and instead should agree that it might be best to retire that phrase forever. And besides, isn't it quite enough to describe Wafa Sultan as someone who "speaks the truth"? Isn't that achievement enough?

I respect Wafa Sultan, but the bottom line is, I don't want any more Muslims immigrating to the USA (and the West).

As a life-long resident of Dearborn, Michigan, I can tell you first hand, over the past ten years we have been flooded with archaic, fundamentalist Muslims, with their bizarre dress, customs and the ever-present push to accept Sharia Law, bit by bit. We have taxpayer paid (state of Michigan, not city of Dearborn) foot washing sinks at the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus!!

More Muslim immigrants = Sharia Law growing in your nation, state, hometown. Devout, fundamentalist, hijab, niqab, burqa wearing Muslims will never truly become Americans (or Westerners).

Best policy: reduce ALL immigration into the USA for a good 10-20 years, the normal immigration cycle the US has lived with for over 230 years. The high immigration cycle that we have lived with for the past 25 years or so needs ending and we need to enter a period of low immigration. Period.

A good place to start understanding Sharia is Stephen Coughlin's "To Our Great Detriment". You will recall Stephen was the Army Major ask to step down from being a pentigon advisor by an Muslim working for the Under Secrretary of Defense for being to critical of Islam.

Nessus - as I understand it, Wafa Sultan is no longer a Muslim - she has apostasised, and now identifies herself as an atheist.

Basically, she's a defector from the Ummah, blowing the whistle and raising the alarm precisely as did defectors from the USSR during the Cold War.

She's currently working on a book called 'The Escaped Prisoner: When God Is A Monster' ('God', in this case, being the 'allah' of the Muslims).

Everyone here should be aware that the wikipedia entry on her has most assuredly been subjected to multiple hostile and propagandising edits by angry Muslims who are trying to damage her credibility among Infidels and thus prevent her warnings from being taken seriously. I can tell just by looking at it.

You are a true American Hero for you are and have been risking your life for what you believe in for quite some time. You are an inspiration to all of us in the US and in the West. I want you to know that the Muslims cannot kill you for you are a global icon, a global monument and a global hero. They will not kill you because they know if you are killed your cause will be a thousand times bigger. The media will glorify you and run your story over and over until every human in this universe will have heard of you and have learned about your cause. Your cause is very big and growing. Just when I was losing hope, I saw your last video and realized that it is not over yet. You pumped a new hope in my soul. Everyone I have showed your videos to became an instant admirer and believer in you. You are one thousand (1,000) videos behind from where you should be. People cannot get enough of you. People are demanding more of you, more videos, more debates, more stories, more of everything you have to offer. Although you cannot see it, you are making a big difference in this universe. You need to remember that you are one Wafa Sultan against two billion people (one billion Muslim and one billion supporters who have no idea what they are doing). You are being heard world wide and the world is demanding more of you. Have you considered running for an office.
