Al-Arian is free!

A good day for the Rumpled Academic

Al-Arian pleaded guilty to "conspiracy to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad." He should not be free today.

"Al-Arian released after 5 years, awaits 2nd trial," from AP, September 2:

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A former Florida professor once accused of being a leading Palestinian terrorist has been released for the first time in more than five years.

Immigration authorities released Sami Al-Arian on Tuesday. They were holding him for refusing to testify before a grand jury about a cluster of Muslim organizations in northern Virginia.

The former University of South Florida professor has been in immigration custody since finishing a sentence on separate charges. He had been accused of being a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, but he was acquitted on many of those charges and a jury deadlocked on others. He eventually pleaded guilty to lesser charges....

So will he be deported or is he free to go back to USF, if they'll have him? Maybe he'll become a jihad analyst on Fox News or on MSNBC? Where's the book deal?
Al-jazeera must be going nuts.

He will now be in "home detention." What does that mean? He can't leave the house? An electronic bracelet? His calls and computer traffic monitored? It should mean all that, and more.

And after the second trial, or the second sentence if there is one then, then prompt deportation to that place whose inhabitants have made it an earthy paradise -- Gaza, to live amidst the Gazan Arabs who share so much, in thought, word, and deed, with Sami al-Arian.

As for his daughter who worked for, possibly still works for, John Esposito, anyone employing her -- starting with Esposito -- should be looked at askance, and more than askance. Why Esposito is not more widely regarded as one would have regarded a member of the Bund during World War II disturbs. In a well-ordered and well-informed society, Esposito and his Arab-funded racket would long ago have been severed institutionally from Georgetown, and he himself be persona non grata in polite -- oh, and impolite -- society.

Bill O'Reilly - held in such contempt by some here - was the one who publicly outed Al Arian as the jihadist he is. The feds were two years behind the curve.

Not a healthy sign for America.

In any decent country it would be impossible to assemble a jury that wouldn't insist on hanging this piece of trash.

You can guess who his peers are.

As part of his plea deal, I thought he was to be deported.

When , if ever, is that going to happen? His release is bad enough.

Take the midnight bus to Gaza.
If I was Sami, I would deport myself.
Islamic paradise has to be preferable to kuffar courts and jails...

duh_swami,
In Gaza he can't participate in the Greater Jihad. Only in the land of the infidels can the actions of an al-Arian have any meaning. Time for paradise later.
Here, he's a celebrity. There, he'd die and no one would know it. Kuffar jails are probably preferable to the best home in Gaza. To paraphrase: a bad day in an American prison is better than a good day in Islamdom. It's definitely true of Gitmo. Some of them just won't leave, though the US has released them.

Damn! Learning about this is a bad way to start my day.

Can't say that I'm surprised, however.

If we allow people that intend to kill us to walk freely, allow more people that intend to kill us to immigrate freely, and allow still more people to gather and preach hatred toward us with the intent of killing us, then we are asking to be killed. Muslim doctrine requires that Muslim's attempt to kill the kaffir and that's us. What part of this is so hard to understand.

Whether intentionally or unintentionally, we encouraged and nurtured this Islamist beast ideology. While the Mujahadin did our bidding against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, their success confirmed to them that it was the will of Allah that their time had arrived. Having defeated the 2nd most powerful empire of the 20th Century, they were encouraged to set their sites on the American Empire. OBL was (and maybe still is) a CIA asset. Whether he is a provocateur of the NWO or merely a convenient wolf/boogeyman used to scare we the sheeple into our pens.

Folks like Alex Jones and the 9/11 Truth movement see the whole 3rd wave Jihad as a "false flag" being used by the NWO dark minions to permit the establishment of a "Prison Planet" or global plantation which we will embrace for the sake of 'security'. Like the development of the Federal Reserve System of 1913, this most recent formation of the global plantation is for their benefit, rendering most of the world population either field slaves or house servants. (I avoided the N word).

Could be that our govt's loose treatment of jihadists like Sami Al-Arian, fits with our lax concern about our own borders, language and culture. Our denigration of the religious roots of America and all that is American, allows our postmodern students, ignorant of American history and values, to be chanting in favor of those who wish to convert, subjugate or kill all that is not submitted to Allah!

We are either total fools or those in authority are using global jihad and allowing these folks to enter our nation or wander about as "students" at our universities as a justification of increased security imposed upon ordinary citizens. The TSA, traffic surveillance cameras, etc. would not be needed within the Castle, if the drawbridge were drawn up against Muslims in the first place.

Frankly we have a greater need for Mexican immigrant workers than Muslim students and professors. If every mosque were closed not as a religious center, but based upon their being the centers of a seditious ideology, if every foreign Imam were deported and Muslim immigration curtailed until the end of the war, I am not sure we'd be any the worse and perhaps a lot better off! Better to keep them outside the gates than to turn our nation into a police state. CAIR, MSA, etc. are proxies fromed by the Muslim Brotherhood, whose purpose is to infiltrate and take down the American Empire. Unfortunately, the NWO folks are allowing them to fluorish in order to justify their selling us 'protection'.

The cultural decline in the West, associated with falling birthrates and a weakening of other cultural sustaining values, coupled with the external challenge of Islamist triumphalism represent the two arms which will end our republic. Like the citizens of Rome in 476AD, we are witless, having long forsaken American values in exchange for an inclusive tolerance of the abominable.

Are we unable or just unwilling to wage war against the beast? Because of our tolerance, they will invade us...because of their religion, they will triumph over us! How is the West to best defend as well as sustain itself?
