CAIR arrives at Swift plant, threatening fliers left inside plant

BeheadThoseWhoInsultIslam.jpg
Who left the fliers?

The controversy over whether the Swift plant in Greeley, Colorado has to accommodate Muslim workers at the expense of non-Muslim workers continues to heat up. I doubt that Muslim workers left the fliers -- I doubt they would be that forthright and ham-handed, particularly when the slick mau-mau artists from CAIR have been called in. Probably a non-Muslim worker found the image above on the Internet (it is from a demonstration of jihadists in Britain a few years ago) and distributed it as a warning.

But the warning is, in a certain sense, misplaced. The non-Muslims among both workers and management at Swift aren't risking being beheaded. The Muslims will not compromise one bit, and will press their case under the "reasonable accommodation" provision, and will probably win, but their victory in part depends on their not speaking about such distasteful elements of Islam as the death sentence mandated for those who insult the religion. Of course, the judge -- if this case goes to a judge -- will know nothing about all that, and will assume (and CAIR will be right there working to ensure that he assumes) that the Muslims at the Swift plant don't believe in any of that business. Oh no, they reject terrorism, they reject the oppression of women, they reject it all, they're just good hard-working pious people who are asking to be allowed to pray.

And the judge, of course, will also know nothing about CAIR's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and about the Brotherhood's "grand jihad" of subversion within the United States -- its long-term effort to force Americans to accommodate Islamic law, and to accept in principle that whenever American law or custom and Islamic law conflict, the Americans must give way.

Meanwhile, standing by will be legions of Americans saying "What's the big deal? So they want to have a break a little early so they can pray! Let them have it! It doesn't mean America is becoming an Islamic state!" And of course it doesn't. But it does mean that step by step, day by day, little by little, Americans are being asked to make special accommodations for Islam and Muslims, to accept the idea that Muslims are not to conform to American practices, but American practices must give way for them. Little by little, in such small steps that no one notices or cares, a protected class is being formed, and Sharia established as non-negotiable. Where non-Muslims are inconvenienced, as are the non-Muslim Swift employees at Swift, by these concessions to Islamic practice, so be it. Tough. Live with it. Let it be. Muslims are above non-Muslims.

Welcome to the future. It is coming to Swift very soon, courtesy Ibrahim Hooper and his gang.

Swift Plant Stealth Jihad Update: "Fired workers 'low profile,' plan to meet attorney; non-Muslim workers allege threatening fliers left at plant," by Chris Casey for the Greeley Tribune, September 12 (thanks to all who sent this in):

About 100 Muslim workers fired Wednesday by JBS Swift & Co. in Greeley stayed "low-profile" Thursday in recognition of the victims of the 9-11 massacre seven years ago, according to one of the workers' leaders.

The day was not without controversy, however, as some non-Muslim Swift workers alleged threatening fliers were left in the company's cafeteria Wednesday night.

Kaise Egal, a leader of the local Muslim workers, said the fired workers were staying low-key "in respect to the 9-11 victims."

"We told the people to be low-profile and not to demonstrate," Egal said in a phone interview.

The weeklong dispute between the Muslim workers at JBS Swift flared Wednesday with about 100 workers receiving termination notices when they reported to the plant in mid-afternoon for the late shift. The dispute took another nasty turn on Thursday as someone left threatening pictures on the tables in the Swift cafeteria. The pictures appeared to be from a protest and feature people holding signs that say things like "Behead those who insult Islam."

[...]

La Salle resident George Pruner, 23, has worked at Swift for 11 months. He said a coworker gave him the fliers. According to Pruner, a second-shift worker, there were about five fliers on each of the 50 tables in the cafeteria breakroom. Pruner He didn't personally find the fliers, a co-worker gave them to him, he said.

"This is the stuff that really bugs me," he told the Tribune. He said he plans to quit his job because of the situation at Swift.

Graen Isse, a spokesman for the Muslim workers, said he did not think the Muslim workers were behind the fliers. The fliers come a day after about 100 Muslim workers were fired. Isse the workers who lost their jobs could not have been behind the fliers.

"The people that got fired, they can not get in the building," he said.

There are still some Muslim workers at the swift plant who were not fired.

JBS Swift management said the firings were due to the employees violating the union contract by walking off the job without authorization Friday evening.

The Muslim workers claim they were trying to break for prayers at about 7:30 p.m. in accordance with an agreement made with the company.

JBS Swift officials, meanwhile, said the agreement was a compromise made between Muslim and non-Muslim workers to change the mid-shift break to 8 p.m. from about 9:15 p.m.

They said they warned the workers who walked out Friday night they would be terminated if they didn't return to work Tuesday. About 120 Muslim workers returned Tuesday, but another 100 or so didn't. Those were the ones who were fired Wednesday afternoon.

Ibrahim Hooper is a spokesman for the D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations. His organization handles hundreds of similar cases a year. He told the Associated Press he's never seen a conflict escalate to the point it has at the JBS Swift & Co. meatpacking plant in Greeley, where several dozen workers were fired Wednesday.

"Usually in these cases we're able to come to an amicable solution," said Ibrahim Hooper, a CAIR spokesman.

Hooper said CAIR attorneys in Chicago are now involved as mediators, and may pursue legal action if religious accommodations are denied. But they're hoping it doesn't get to that point.

"Really, you don't need attorneys in these cases," Hooper said. "You just need a spirit of good will and cooperation."...

And a quaking fear and willingness to cave on the part of the company owners, because Hooper and Co., of course, won't give an inch. They can't. It is a matter of, as they see it, divine law.

F**k CAIR - why is this organisation allowed to exist?? It looks to me that things are worse in the US than here in the UK.

Hooper and Co., of course, won't give an inch. They can't. It is a matter of, as they see it, divine law.

Hooper and his peers at CAIR also know that if they give more than an inch, here and there, in various confrontations, they will be "swift"ly dismissed from their very lucrative and comfortable positions by their Saudi paymasters, and replaced by tougher "negotiators".

However, this is fair warning to any employer. Hire Muslim employees at your own risk.

Oooooooh, that would be discrimination! Can't have that! The courts would bring any outfit that tried it into line, toot sweet.
The way that our gov't harasses business, it's not surprising so many companies move their manufacturing plants to other countries.

Whoa! I missed that this was in Greeley, CO.
Surely they were leaving copies of Sayyid Qutb's booklet, "The America I Have Seen". Oh those American temptresses! Oh those church dances! The football! The front lawns! The music!
Such decadence!

"Probably a non-Muslim worker found the image above on the Internet (it is from a demonstration of jihadists in Britain a few years ago) and distributed it as a warning."

Why do you give Muslims the benefit of the doubt over all non-Muslims at the plant? Now who's being a dhimmi? You have no proof that a non-Muslim left the flier. Why even suggest that?

"The non-Muslims among both workers and management at Swift aren't risking being beheaded."

And why not? Aren't they "insulting" Islam by their refusal to accede to Muslim demands?
We have seen what happens to people who "insult" Islam. Remember Theo van Gogh.

'Islam is the religion of peace', is the mantra of death.

Jihad has many branches. One of them is 'stealth jihad'. Gradualism, incrementalism, creeping crudism, are its engines, using democracy to destroy democracy, its fuel.

And we let people and groups like CAIR, get away with that, and even worse, some of us help them.

What kufrs need to know is that Allah wrote the book 'How to serve Man', which if you remember turned out to be a cookbook.
Islam does not serve man, it devours them.
It fries their brains and turns them into strands of pasta. Why do you think Allah's punishments have to do with fire and burning...He's in the kitchen cooking...Destroying democracy opens the door to Allah's hellkitchen, where only kufirs are being cooked.
Now this might be great for hungry demons and assorted devils, but it is bad, very bad for kuffars.

Slam that door shut. Can't you smell what Allah is cooking?...it ain't bacon, there's no eggs...and it ain't fit to eat...

Protect democracy, stop importing Islam.

"This is the stuff that really bugs me," he told the Tribune. He said he plans to quit his job because of the situation at Swift.

And therein lies the problem. . .non-muslims not willing to fight. The result here is that Swift will fill this position with another muslim. By not standing by Swift and fighting, this guy is furthering our destruction. He is worse than an appeaser, he knows the end game and still chooses to walk away and let others do the fighting.

"Usually in these cases we're able to come to an amicable solution," said Ibrahim Hooper, a CAIR spokesman.

Usually people cave in long before now. That's why we have foot baths in the college dorms, and Target check clerks refusing to handle pork products. At least the Minneapolis Airport Authority (after initially conceding) fought and won.

This war is going to become a lot bigger before it is over. Warfare is conflict raised to the highest, organized level. Certain issues will trigger violence, and for good reason. I use slavery as an example, but many other issues exist as well. Islam has a number of basic issues that must be decided, and warfare will result.

It was planned how Islam is so strict about most behavior, but so lax about killing. This is a good reason to wage war by itself.

But is Swift defending its non-Muslim employees or did it find itself caught between a rock and a hard place? Does Swift stand by this man? It's not yet clear that they do. You get what you give.

"JBS Swift management said the firings were due to the employees violating the union contract by walking off the job without authorization Friday evening."

Non-Muslim employees have a right to expect equal consideration and it's not clear that they have gotten it or will get it.

This man is not an appeaser. Swift has no right to his loyalty. What have they done to earn it? They appear to be creating a hostile work environment.

On a positive note this incident serves to educate the infidel workers at swift, infidel employers and the surrounding community to the true nature of Islam. A supremacist "religion". I went to "refugee resettlement watch" and noticed that Somalis have been coming to the US for many years, yet only now that their numbers have reached 80K do they suddenly need religious accommodation. This accommodation is to come at the expense of non-Muslim employees and the infidel employer. If prayer and Ramadan are so important to Muslims, why are they taking jobs that interfere with their ability to pray and celebrate Ramadan? Why aren't Muslims starting their own businesses and hiring their Muslims brothers to allow Muslims to both assimilate with the larger society and accommodate their "special" religious needs? We all know that Orthodox Jews and The Amish have special religious needs yet they somehow manage to live peacefully with the rest of American society.

One more thing why are the Somalis going to the unemployment office? If you are fired you are not eligible for unemployment. Refugees are also not to be on the dole, they are suppose to have sponsors so as not to become a burden to the rest of society.

The salafi somalis are the foot soldiers for the muslim brotherhood.

The somalis are taking over our local islamic center, even though they have their own mosque. A somali warlord has positioned himself well in city government and other somalis are on the fast track at the immigrant ngo's. The somalis are devious, stubborn, aggressive and hate the kufr. They feel privileged to wage jiahd in dar al harb.

Read Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali for a look into the somali tribal mind and culture.

Greetings:

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm not a lame-brain either. What the non-Muslim employees at Swift's plant need to do is some counter-lawfare.

By accommodating the Muslim employees, Swift is recognizing the acceptability of Islam. Now Islam's "scriptures" include passages that are extremely threatening to non-Muslims (infidels).

In my non-legally trained mind, that creates the "hostile work environment" that has become such a useful tool to minority groups of many persuasions.

If finding a "noose" in the workplace is sufficient cause for a nationwide clamor, why isn't a large groups of people "praying" to a god that wants his non-believers killed or subjugated.

I don't think they would allow the KKKlan to wear their sheets or have "chapel" meetings on site or allow neo-Nazis to wear their uniforms for Hitler's birthday.

Enough. It's time for some intelligently aggressive action.

Posted by: 11B40 [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 12, 2008 12:32 PM

Ibahim "Dougie" Hooper et al. are using the same tactics that every 'minority' movement has used int the US Courts (which bows to them); handicapped, gender equity, criminal records citees, gay rights (or license {as a male homosexual I find patronizing an insuult}).
Yet, we've been concerned about the rights of our citizens, by why condescend to immigrants who practice a religion committed to overthrough the very values stated over and over again in our history.

Posted by: Shawmut [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 12, 2008 12:42 PM
...if religious accommodations are denied...
Islam is the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing. It is a comprehensive political, social, economic and psychological ideology. Imagine if communism, socialism or fascism were designated as "religions". We would all be speaking Russian, German or Japanese and none of us would be free.

Posted by: SaracensAtTheGates [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 12, 2008 1:21 PM

Title VII on reasonable accomodation of religion:

An employer is not required to accommodate an employee's religious beliefs and practices if doing so would impose an undue hardship on the employers' legitimate business interests. An employer can show undue hardship if accommodating an employee's religious practices requires more than ordinary administrative costs, diminishes efficiency in other jobs, infringes on other employees' job rights or benefits, impairs workplace safety, causes co-workers to carry the accommodated employee's share of potentially hazardous or burdensome work, or if the proposed accommodation conflicts with another law or regulation.

This is a matter of enforcing our law effectively. The other workers are being discriminated against by this, the moving of their breaks and their workload impacts the safety of the plant as well.

Ebonystone - see Thanos post above. An employer can refuse to hire candidates if they (the employer) have reason to believe that the candidate will violate company policy. Civil rights don't really exist in the workplace. Once you take the companies' coin, you have to follow their words.

I guess what I was trying to say is that a prudent business owner might think twice before hiring Muslims from Somalia.

Employers better learn fast. The industies follow what works, they are looking to lower costs of production, they will weigh the costs of hiring problematic employees, and the cost of holding the line to cost of giving in. Cheers to those that just say screw the bottom line, we aren't going to let this happen here.

Swift doesn't have video security? I wouldn't be surprised if they already know who left the fliers.

You can bet that if the person who left the fliers was a non-muslim, or if the fliers said something like "Behead Those Who Insult Christianity", the entire U.S. Justice Department would have descended to Colorado, the perpetrator hunted down, hauled off in handcuffs, and eventually convicted of a hate crime & sentenced to years in prison.

But because the perpetrator was probably a muslim, nothing will be done.

Hiring Muslims is a risky endeavor and should be avoided...THe Muslims. worldwide, have provided ample examples of how they behave once they are hired...Employers...educate your HR staff and act accordingly...The business you save just may be your own...

Somehow, after mass-murdering our innocent fellow/sister Americans, we were forced to love the primitive, savage, barbarian Murderers.

Why?

The Somalis accepted the prevailing work conditions- Pay, Hrs. time of breaks, ect. When they accepted the Job itself. The Union, by Contract, is responsible to the Company that it's members abide by it.

If Swift is expected to suffer 25% reductions in manpower per shift as being "reasonable", then the Game is up before it even started.

It is reasonable for Swift to expect its Union members to work according to the Contract in Force.

It is not "unreasonable" for Swift Management to expect those Muslims, who, of purely personal reasons, chose to fast. Too wait the additional 2 hours to break it.

This is a Union Matter when you get right down to it.

The Management at Swift seem to be anything But their Name.

Posted by: flowerknife_us [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 12, 2008 10:08 PM

Honestly, I don't get what the big deal is in making the Muslims to wait until 9:00 to break their Ramadan fast. The fast is sunrise to sunset, right? In a few years Ramadan is going to line up with the summer solstice and then they'll have to wait until 9:00 anyway. At least sunrise isn't as early this Ramadan as it will be in a few years.

But then, they wouldn't have anything to complain about, huh?

DJM, Swift totally has video surveillance. If they have security guards, which are more expensive in the long run, you can bet your ass they have video surveillance. I'm reposting the letter I sent Swift. Copy it and send it, people. It's more right-on today than it was yesterday. Probably because CAIR and Islam more generally are incredibly predictable, sheep that they are.

Send it to jbsswift_consumer@jbsswift.com, E-Commerce@jbsswift.com, retailsales@jbsswift.com:

Ok, while it's all fine and good that you fired some of the people who violated your labor contract and walked off the job, you still have a long way to go before we American consumers will be appeased. We won't consider being satisfied or calling off the boycott until all of the following demands are met and Swift publicly apologizes for your demonstration of a patent lack of respect for free-world values and the nation that hosts you by conceding to the terrorist Sharia hordes:

1) The other hundred or so other 'workers' who walked off the job, thus violating the terms of their employment, demonstrating insubordination, and burdening your American and Mexican-American employees must be terminated.

2) Charges must be filed against every individual who destroyed property and every one of them must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We know you have cameras so you have no way around this. If you have security guards (which you would never under any circumstances need had you not hired these beasts) you have cameras.

3) Two people have now been assaulted, one of them seriously injured, and the 'workers' who assaulted them must be charged with both assault and a hate crime.

4) You must stop collaborating with CAIR. They don't get an opinion. They are a terror organization, a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood implicated in the infamous 1981 memo deemed 'The Project.' Furthermore, as they are unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial, whose retrial is set for this month, their days are numbered. Reports released last week prove that their lawyers don't even have BAs, let alone JDs, and have certainly never passed the Bar. You lower everyone's opinion of you by negotiating with terrorists, as if you haven't done enough to betray America, and when the trial is concluded, CAIR is banned, and everyone associated with them imprisoned, you will look even worse in the eyes of both America and history. Americans, as a matter of principle, do not negotiate with terrorists. We also are all well-aware that your labor union go-betweens - Osman et al. - are with either CAIR, ISNA, NAIT, or some other jihadist arm of the mother terror organization the Muslim Brotherhood. Americans don't associate with terrorists either. Stop actively destroying America and committing treasonous sedition. It's intolerable.

5) When you fill the positions of the workers who have been terminated and the other hundred or so whom we demand be terminated, you must fill them with workers who are willing to perform all aspects of their job descriptions, who will not ask for special accomodations as this is patently un-American, and who will not burden their reasonable decent, thinking, moral, ethical, civilized, evolved, outbred American and Mexican-American counterparts, and who will unequivocally respect the law of the land, the labor contract, and any female superiors under whom they may work. Unskilled workers are a dime a dozen. There is no reason to destroy America in order to hire terrorists, pedophiles, and militant cult members who, per the proscriptions of their cult, can only be here for the express purpose of destroying our nation, our culture, our way of life, and freedom and human rights more generally.

Get it together, Swift. We're not even close to appeased, and you're not even close to abiding by the law of the land, despite what CAIR's 'lawyers' may have told you.

You make a good point about the union. If you let these people observe one full month of religious holiday schedule then the swift plant and the union will owe it to every other employee to allow them to observe every and all their religion schedules regardless to how badly they may affect Swift Plant.
