He said, "Were imploding. You may want to stand back a bit."
No, not exactly. "Terrorism: Al-Qaeda leader threatens France and Spain," from AdnKronos International, September 22:
Algiers, 22 Sept. (AKI) - A leader of the Al-Qaeda Organisation in the Islamic Maghreb has threatened France and Spain in an audio message broadcast on jihadist Internet forums on Monday.
"To those that are involved in the war against Islam and have betrayed the Islamic nation, we say to them: Repent before God punishes you with his hands and with ours," said Abdel Malik Droukedel, who uses the name Abu Musab Abdel Wudud.
"This is because judgement day is close and punishment is imminent. And whoever among the treacherous apostates thinks that France is in a position to ensure its safety, we tell them they are wrong, because France will not be in a position to do it, and will be worried for its safety."
In the audio message, entitled "Message to our nation in the Islamic Maghreb", Droukedel reminds his listeners about Spain and Morocco's territorial dispute over the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla.
"Dear nation, it is not conceivable for any Muslim that loves Islam to speak of the Maghreb without remembering Ceuta and Melilla, occupied by Spain without remembering the injustice suffered by our nation," said Droukedel.
"The complicity between Spain and international organisations such as the Arab League, the Islamic Conference and the United Nations is clear."
Melilla and Ceuta are autonomous cities administered by Spain and considered by neighbouring Morocco to be an integral part of its territory and of immense political and economic significance.
Morocco claims both locations to be "despoiled" territories, calling them by their Arabic equivalents of Sebta and Melillia. The cities have been under Spanish control for over 400 years.
In the message, Droukedel also speaks against new NATO military bases in North Africa and accuses Moroccan King Mohammed VI of having betrayed the prophet Mohammed by having a Danish embassy in his territory.
Regarding Tunisia, Droukedel accuses the government of being anti-Islamic and of passing laws against the implementation of Islamic Sharia law.
Speaking about Mauritania, he reminds his listeners about Nouakchott's diplomatic relations with Israel, while he claims that Algeria is suffering from political 'interference' by France.
"I assure you all that we do not kill innocent people and we will prevent the spilling of Muslim blood," he said.
The Al-Qaeda leader says he will continue his fight to drive "France and the US from our country" and asks Algerian citizens to stay away from foreign organisations or government buildings because they are targets for attacks.
Droukedel's message was aimed at Muslims in North Africa, and was also translated into French.
The Al-Qaeda Organisation in the Islamic Maghreb evolved from the Salafite Group for Preaching and Combat, initially formed to create an Islamic state in Algeria, but now believed to have more widespread goals.

"we say to them: Repent before God punishes you with his hands..."
Abu Musab Abdel Wudud should be more careful, or he'll find his own head on the chopping block. Doesn't he know that anthromorphisms are considered heretical in Islam?

The penalty for leaving Islam is death. Islam is a one-way street in many ways. Once land is Islamic, it can not ever go back. Otherwise, it is 'occupation'.
He is right. We are at war against many of the fumdamental issues of Islam.

No need. We are more than ready to pack up and leave the "peaceful Muslims" to deal with their brethren.
Peaceful Muslims: if you really are, then you will take care of the murderers among you. We are ready to let you prove yourselves. Are YOU?
"The complicity between Spain and international organisations such as the Arab League, the Islamic Conference and the United Nations is clear."
Excuse me? What is this man talking about? What complicity is there with the Arab League and the Islamic Conference? Wouldn't that be all to the good?
The UN? What is his complaint with a body that equated Zionism with racism?

"I assure you all that we do not kill innocent people and we will prevent the spilling of Muslim blood,"
That's because killing the 'guilty' takes up all your time. Filthy kufrs are guilty, not innocent muslims.
Of course we know all muslims are not innocent, some are guilty and must also be killed.
I suppose you would kill the innocent also if you had time to get around to it.
'So many people to kill, so little time'...

Just take this guy out.
The best jihadi being a dead one, it's a no brainer.
If one's version of the deity tells one to embrace jihad, your deity wants you to die, so oblige that deity and die, and get your 72 virgins or your proferred reward.

I believe half of what I see (with photoshop and all). Guess that puts me not believing Washington, again.

To whom it may concern:
Spare me the 'suffering muslim' BS. I am well beyond caring whether muslims are suffering somewhere/anywhere on the planet. Actually, the thought of muslim suffering makes me feel warm inside.
Perhaps, muslims could raise the awareness of their suffering (if anyone really cares) by mustering severe indigestion after each White House Iftar Dinner. I would enjoy being aware of that, also.

It's happened before. It will happen again. Anyone who goes to Egypt must understand that he takes his life in his hands. Any country that depends on infidels for any part of its GDP must understand that killing them is counterproductive. The best thing that can happen will be a total boycott of Egypt by all travelers. If you want to see the pyramids then you'll have to settle for National Geographic specials.

The only innocent people, according the Islamic dogma, are Muslims, so isn't the second part of the the statement a little redundant?

"To those that are involved in the war against Islam and have betrayed the Islamic nation, we say to them: Repent before God punishes you with his hands and with ours,”
The presumption of these barbaric psychopathic goat herds, that they are qualified to punish for betraying the Islamic nation with their own hands, speaks volumes. First of all, there is no Islamic nation of the Ummah, no such government, no such borders. Second, their god Allah is obviously a very weak god, since he needs these ignorant primitives to punish on his behalf. Third, these fools are projecting anthropomorphic sentiments, which is heresy. So in the end by this logic: all the ‘slaves of Allah’ of the Ummah should be punishing themselves for heresy on behalf of their primitive god, for appointing themselves as henchmen for their very weak Allah.
Slaves are slaves, their freedom of action severely restricted, and to be so bold as to punish others in the name of their masters, in ‘submission’ to their masters, means they presume to act like masters. They therefore should be punished for overstepping their lowly station, since the master-Allah remain mute of instructions. So these fools of Islam are acting out their ignorance in submission as ‘slaves of Allah’ presuming to do the bidding of their mute and powerless master as ‘masters’ of Allah, for which they surely should be punished. It is not nice for a slave to act like a master.
The irony here is that these idiots are slaves to a non-existing-god master! 1400 years of reciting Mohammet’s heresy leaves his minions totally idiotic. Islam is not peace, it is slavery, and it appears to be imploding from its own idiocy. AQ’s malevolent threats are the dying screams of Allah akbar’s idiots, who are too idiotic to see their own idiocy.

... add the billions of tax-jizya (off or honest, hard-working American sweat) donated to the enemy.

But in the end, isn't it always American policies that explain murderous Muslim threats, even those made to sunny Spain and naughty France? If we didn't import all that Rioja Reserva and manchego with fig jam -- all of it from Spain -- to go on crackers with it, where would Spain's economy be today? Ditto with France, whose economy is held up by Americans who buy those Pierre Deux tablecloths and those nebuchednezzars of Perrier-Jouet. If Spain didn't have America buying all that stuff, it would long ago have given up Ceuta and Melilla to its rightful Muslim owners. And France, without the American income from sales of those Pierre Deux household goods and those well-riddled bottles from Ay and Epernay and Reims, would not be able to continue to support the rulers of Algeria, or the king of Morocco, or Ben Ali and the Destour secularists in Tunisia.
So it still comes back to the Amreicans, and American foreign policy, the root of everything that irks Islam. And everything that is not-Islam irks adherents of Islam, and always has, and always will.

as usual, somewhere in the desert, not courageous enough to show his face in Paris or Madrid and still trying to have the job done by others.
