CAIR files FEC complaint: Obsession distribution a Zionist plot

Despite the fact that the film Obsession contains no political content and was made well before the 2008 election cycle began, CAIR, those paragons of Islamic moderation and honesty, would now have you believe that the national distribution of the DVD was an Israeli plot to elect John McCain.

This is a very revealing action for CAIR to take. It reveals in particular two key aspects of CAIR's mindset:
1. It shows that CAIR is fully aware that the jihad against Israel is an integral part of the global jihad, and is not just a struggle to recover Palestinian "stolen land." Thus a film that reveals the nature and goals of that global jihad -- Obsession -- benefits Israel.
2. It also shows that CAIR believes that John McCain will fight against the global jihad in a way that Barack Obama will not -- and that it believes therefore the distribution of an anti-jihad film, which in a sane world would be welcomed by both the Left and the Right since the global jihad wishes to destroy and remake the West utterly, must be some partisan plot.

It further shows CAIR yet again on the wrong side of the jihad, as they are again and again. The Flying Imams threaten the ability of airline passengers to report suspicious behavior without getting harassed legally, and CAIR is right there. Sami Al-Arian for years bamboozles the Left into thinking he is a gallant freedom fighter for the Palestinians without the shadow of a hint of support for terrorism, and CAIR backs him all the way. The Patriot Act? CAIR was against it -- and not just the legitimately questionable parts, either. Has CAIR ever sponsored a single anti-terror initiative that would actually make it easier for law enforcement to identify and apprehend jihad terrorists? Nope.

Yet this shady group still enjoys mainstream media support, and is routinely depicted as a neutral "civil rights" organization.

"CAIR Asks FEC to Probe Anti-Muslim DVDs Sent to Swing States," from MarketWire, September 23 (thanks to all who sent this in):

WASHINGTON, DC - A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group today announced that it has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) over the distribution of an anti-Muslim film to 28 million homes in presidential election swing states.

The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is urging the FEC to investigate whether the Clarion Fund, a non-profit organization that distributed DVDs containing "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West," is really a front for an Israel-based group seeking to help Sen. John McCain win the U.S. presidential election. (No information about a board of directors, staff or even a physical address is offered on the fund's website.)

In its complaint to the FEC, CAIR wrote in part:

"The Clarion Fund recently financed the distribution of some 28 million DVDs containing the film 'Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West' in what many political analysts describe as 'swing' states in the upcoming presidential elections. Those same analysts say the distribution of the 'Obsession' DVD was designed to benefit a particular presidential candidate, namely Sen. John McCain...

"According to the website for the Secretary of State for New York, Clarion Fund Inc. is incorporated in New York as a Delaware-based foreign not-for-profit corporation. According to the Delaware Department of Corporations, Robert (Rabbi Raphael) Shore, Rabbi Henry Harris and Rebecca Kabat incorporated Clarion Fund. All three of whom are reported to serve as employees of Aish HaTorah International, an organization apparently based in Israel. Also according to the Delaware Department of Corporations, the incorporators of the Clarion Fund used Aish HaTorah's New York City address (150 West 46th Street, New York) to incorporate Clarion Fund in Delaware... [SEE: http://www.aish.com/aishint/wwprogram.asp]

"It appears that the funding for the production, marketing and distribution of 'Obsession' may have originated from Israel-based Aish HaTorah International." [...]

"American voters deserve to know whether they are the targets of a multi-million-dollar campaign funded and directed by a foreign group seeking to whip up anti-Muslim hysteria as a way to influence the outcome of our presidential election," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad....

American voters also deserve to know whether they are the targets of a campaign, multimillion-dollar or no, funded and directed by Islamic supremacists to mislead and deceive them about Islamic jihad terrorism as a way to influence the outcome of our presidential election, and to influence much more besides.

"anti-Muslim hysteria" you say, Nihad Awad?

There's good reason for that. In fact, we SHOULD all be protesting against you in the streets. One day, that will happen.

A prominent national "Islamic civil rights" and advocacy group...

Islamic civil rights?

Whoever heard of such a silly thing!

Also:

"American voters deserve to know whether they are the targets of a multi-million-dollar campaign funded and directed by a foreign group seeking to whip up anti-Muslim hysteria as a way to influence the outcome of our presidential election," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad....

Should read:

"American voters deserve to know whether they are the targets of a Jihad campaign funded and directed by a Quran/Hadith motivated group seeking to whip up anti-everyone-but-themselves hysteria as a way to terrorise us and force us to submit to Allahs will," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad....

Yeah.That's more like it!

Why are these freaking three piece suit Jihadists allowed to even a voice in this nation? Send em packing on the next magic camel ride back to Muslim brotherhood HQ in Allah land.

Why does CAIR call the Obsession Film Anti-Islamic...it is Pro Islamic...It acurately quotes from the Qur'an and simply provides documentation of Muslims carrying out the words of their prophet...

The Muslims just don't want Infidels to recognize the fact that the Qur'an is the basis for the Muslim terrorism...yep..

"American voters deserve to know whether they are the targets of a multi-million-dollar campaign funded and directed by a foreign group seeking to whip up anti-Muslim hysteria as a way to influence the outcome of our presidential election," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad....

And what about the millions of dollars poured into the pockets of the Clintons by the Wahhabi foreign entity called Saudi Arabia? Also the bread and butter for CAIR crooks. American voters deserve to know how this corrupt, subversive group seeks to smokescreen its intention to overthrow the American government and establish the tyrannical theocracy under Sharia.

The truth really hurts those simple minds, little do the ignorant people of America know, that Islam will destroy all but Islam. What is really scary is that the only way that any of them will ever see Paradise is if they DIE in martyrdom. To them, Death is LIFE! If YOU are not a Muslim, then as the Mohammad wrote(as if they were Alla's words) if you don't convert then you are to be destroyed and then they must move on to the next person and do the same until there is only Islam. There are NO moderate Muslims. Either you are, following the Perfect man, Mohammad and the words of the Koran in every detail, destroying EVERYTHING that opposes Islam or you,as a lukewarm Muslim, are not, then you, too, must be punished. There is NO middle ground. They will do, act, say what ever it takes to achieve the Islamic goal of a PURE Islamic WORLD.
They chant,"Death to America, Death to the UK, Death to the Jews" What if one was to say "Death to Islam?" That has got to be fair.

I'm sure the FEC will get right on it, just like the State Dept. did when the pro-hate textbooks from the Saudi Islamic Academy near D.C. were brought to it's attention.

If CAIR is worried about somebody or something influencing this coming election, they'll have to get in line. There are plenty of people and groups in front of them.

Awad, if you or any of your stooges are reading the comments here, understand that what the American voters deserve to know about, is CAIR.

You don't give a damn about American voters, so save the B.S. I personally don't need or want a Hamas supporter such as yourself acting as though he's speaking for me in any capacity.

As long as CAIR continues to speak in public, the American people will always be reminded that radical Islamic squawking crows still operate in America, for now.

I hope there is somebody out there who is working on a case against CAIR to prove that they are working against the US and all that it stands for.

Or maybe it is just wishful thinking, because so many of them are now in the government or close to people in the government who have no clue about Islam, but attracted and blinded by how 'educated, modern, friendly' their muslim acquaintances, or friends are.

Posted by: jasmine [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 23, 2008 10:35 PM

The movie's title IS provocative. Maybe it should be retitled:

Islam's Gift to the World:
Fourteen Centuries of Peace

CAIR can't have a problem with that, can they?

Posted by: PMK [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 23, 2008 10:46 PM

"Has CAIR ever sponsored a single anti-terror initiative that would actually make it easier for law enforcement to identify and apprehend jihad terrorists?"

I once saw an extremist website where the story and the feedback condemned CAIR as traitors and tools for Bush & Co. That they should all be killed and the other usual Muslim diatribe. The reason was that a CAIR publication had a full page ad taken out by the FBI in an attempt to recruit Arab speaking agents. It's hard to understand who are their supporters and who they represent.

Jasmine,

There are a lot of us out there working behind the scenes to expose CAIR.

The initial reaction is usually disbelief and dismissal. But CAIR has been cair-less with some of the people they've attacked and these folks are resisting and turning around and launching a counter insurgency. It's happening more and more.

From the JW Archives:

"A $1.35 million libel suit filed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) against Andrew Whitehead of Anti-CAIR (ACAIR), who called CAIR a “terrorist front organization,” that was “founded by Hamas supporters,” and was working to “make radical Islam the dominant religion in the United States,” has been dismissed with prejudice. According to ACAIR’s Mr. Whitehead, who posts at www.anti-cair-net.org, “I am pleased to report the CAIR lawsuit has been dismissed after the parties reached a mutually agreeable settlement.”
Terms of the settlement are confidential. However, no apology was issued, no retraction or corrections made, and the statements that triggered CAIR’s suit remain on the ACAIR website.

CAIR’s suit was filed on March 31, 2004 after Mr. Whitehead posted the following statements:

“Let there be no doubt that CAIR is a terrorist supporting front organization that is partially funded by terrorists, and that CAIR wishes nothing more than the implementation of Sharia law in America.”
CAIR is an “organization founded by Hamas supporters which seeks to overthrow Constitutional government in the United States and replace it with an Islamist theocracy using our own Constitution as protection.”

“ACAIR reminds our readers that CAIR was started by Hamas members and is supported by terrorist supporting individuals, groups and countries.”

“Why oppose CAIR? CAIR has proven links to, and was founded by, Islamic terrorists. CAIR is not in the United States to promote the civil rights of Muslims. CAIR is here to make radical Islam the dominant religion in the United States and convert our country into an Islamic theocracy along the lines of Iran. In addition, CAIR has managed, through the adroit manipulation of the popular media, to present itself as the ‘moderate' face of Islam in the United States. CAIR succeeded to the point that the majority of its members are not aware that CAIR actively supports terrorists and terrorist supporting groups and nations. In addition, CAIR receives direct funding from Islamic terrorists supporting countries.”

“CAIR is a fundamentalist organization dedicated to the overthrow of the United States Constitution and the installation of an Islamic theocracy in America.”

CAIR claimed these statements were false, that Mr. Whitehead made them “with knowledge of their falsity,” and that the statements were actionable because “they impute the commission of a criminal offense.” CAIR claimed injury to its “standing and reputation throughout the United States and elsewhere,” and sought $1 million in compensatory damages, $350,000 in punitive damages, plus legal fees and interest.

On June 20, 2005, and following submission of discovery requests by Mr. Whitehead’s counsel, Reed D. Rubinstein of Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Washington, D.C. office, seeking information regarding CAIR’s finances, its relationship to Hamas, and its ties to Saudi Arabia and other Islamic radicals, CAIR dropped nearly all of its original claims. The revised complaint alleged only the following statements to be false and defamatory:

“Let their (sic) be no doubt that CAIR is a terrorist supporting front organization….”
“[CAIR] seeks to overthrow constitutional government in the United States….”

Subsequently, Mr. Whitehead’s counsel filed papers demonstrating the extensive links between, and actions taken by, CAIR and its principal leaders with and on behalf of Hamas terrorists, foreign Islamic radicals, and domestic Islamic extremists. Among other things, the pleadings showed how CAIR had used its website to exploit the 9/11 atrocities, funneling money to the notorious Hamas front group the “Holy Land Foundation” (HLF). HLF, organized and operated by a CAIR-Austin, Texas board member who was a close and long-time associate of CAIR’s executive officers, financed Hamas, and was shut down by the United States government in December, 2001. HLF was also shown to have provided funds to CAIR.

Shortly after Mr. Whitehead’s counsel filed these papers, and shortly before a court hearing on Mr. Whitehead’s request for access to CAIR’s financial data and relationship with Hamas and Islamic radicals was to be held, the case was settled and dismissed with prejudice."

And a little more on Nihad Awad from the same Archives, an article by The Investigative Project:

"The executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Nihad Awad, participated in a three-day summit of U.S.-based HAMAS members and supporters in 1993.
Until now, he had been identified only as Nihad LNU (last name unknown) in FBI reports and analyses. The meeting occurred in a Philadelphia hotel in the wake of a White House ceremony formalizing the Oslo Accords, a peace deal with the potential to end the decades-old conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

CAIR, which touts itself as America’s premier Muslim civil rights organization, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror support trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development and five of its officials. Omar Ahmad, who founded CAIR with Awad in 1994 and was previously identified as attending the Philadelphia meeting, also was named as an unindicted co-conspirator.

The FBI already had wiretap warrants on several people who wound up organizing the 1993 meeting and agents listened in on the meeting itself. They concluded the two-dozen men present were HAMAS members or supporters. Transcripts and FBI analyses released since then show the meeting sought a strategy to kill the peace accord, which threatened to marginalize the Islamist movement. The group also discussed ways to improve HAMAS fundraising in America.

According to FBI reports, the men tried to hide their true agenda, agreeing not to even say the word “HAMAS” - but to call it “SAMAH” its reverse - even in their private conversations. Most of the participants were identified through surveillance and an examination of the hotel registry. But until Thursday, the identity of one person at the meeting – Nihad LNU - remained a mystery.

Awad was asked about the meeting during a 2003 deposition for a civil lawsuit. He initially said he didn't think he had attended the Philadelphia meeting. When pushed he replied, "I don't remember." Nor did he remember whether he was invited.

Previously available evidence shows Awad was at the 1993 HAMAS meeting. He can be seen on videotape the following summer, acknowledging “I am in support of the HAMAS movement” during a seminar at Miami’s Barry University.

The idea for the meeting was discussed in a telephone call recorded by the FBI on Sept. 14, 1993. A day earlier, Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin shared an uneasy handshake on the White House lawn. That paved the way for the Palestinian Authority’s creation, and, it was hoped at the time, a path toward a more peaceful future.

On the telephone, three men discussed who should be invited to join them in a meeting to discuss what to do next. The call included Omar Ahmad (CAIR’s chairman emeritus), who at the time served at President of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), Shukri Abu Baker, President of the Holy Land Foundation and one of the defendants now on trial, and Abdelhaleem al-Ashqar, the Executive Director of a HAMAS-linked charity known as the Al Aqsa Educational Fund.

They discussed inviting people from the “Union,” a code reference to the IAP. They mentioned “Akram,” “Abdul Rahman” and “Nihad.” In 1993, Nihad Awad was the spokesman and public relations director for the IAP.

During that same telephone conversation, the men on the telephone call referred to Nihad's work in "media." Shukri Abu Bakr mentioned "a full article in Dallas Morning News...and every few lines: Mr. Nihad said this and that...." The Dallas Morning News did publish an article that day. It ran under the headline "Dallas' Mideast Observers Warn of Conflict Ahead." It extensively quoted "Nihad Awad, spokesman for the Dallas-based Islamic Association of Palestine."

A few weeks later, at the Philadelphia meeting itself, two men again referenced "Nihad" and an invitation he received to speak at a conference for the National Association of Arab Americans (NAAA) on October 30, 1993. The program from that NAAA Annual Convention, obtained by the IPT, lists the name of Nihad Awad, representing the Islamic Association for Palestine, as a speaker on a panel entitled "Israel-PLO Agreement: Analytical Perspectives." Nobody else named Nihad is listed in the program...."

A little more on Nihad Awad, the head of CAIR, in an article by Robert Spencer:

"Questions about CAIR’s true commitment to moderation have swirled for years, unanswered by Awad and other CAIR officials. Awad himself helped found CAIR after working at the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), where he was public relations director. A former FBI counterterrorism official, Oliver “Buck” Revell, has called the IAP “a front organization for Hamas that engages in propaganda for Islamic militants.” Terrorism expert Steve Emerson testified before a Senate committee on terrorism in 1998 that “the IAP has issued Hamas communiques calling for the killing of Jews, produced training videos for Hamas operatives, and actually recruited for Hamas in the United States.” In 1994 Awad declared: “I am in support of the Hamas movement.” This was well after numerous murderous Hamas attacks on civilians, which were duly celebrated on Hamas’s website until some more PR-minded person took it all down some time ago."

From the Dallas Morning News, an article about the Holy Land Foundation and other groups, including CAIR:

DALLAS -- Prosecutors have produced scores of documents, audio and video tapes, and intercepted phone calls in their attempt to prove that a Muslim charity based in a suburban Dallas office park was actually a fund-raising arm of Middle Eastern terrorists.

Much of the evidence has surfaced before in books, newspaper articles and previous trials. But those who track terror-financing say the document haul from the trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development has also produced new information.

They say the documents shed light on a web of related organizations of militant Palestinian supporters in the United States, some of whom saw their goal as destroying Western civilization.

The 1991 bylaws of a group called the Palestine Committee say it was created to be the highest authority on “work for the Palestinian cause on the American front.” The committee was led by Mousa Abu Marzook, later deported to Jordan and labeled a terrorist by the U.S. government.

The committee oversaw a number of past and current Muslim organizations in the United States.

One was Holy Land, which was shut down in December 2001 and accused of being a fund-raising front for Hamas. Five of its former leaders are on trial in Dallas, charged with sending more than $12 million in illegal aid to Hamas.

Another was the Islamic Association for Palestine, which closed in 2004 after a federal judge found it and then-defunct Holy Land liable in the killing of an American teenager in Israel by Hamas gunmen.

And a third was the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, which has emerged as a leading advocacy group for American Muslims.

For the first time, evidence in the case put CAIR’s founder, Nihad Awad, at a Philadelphia meeting of alleged Hamas supporters that was secretly watched and recorded by the FBI.

The groups had overlapping rosters of leaders. Documents introduced by prosecutors in the Holy Land trial list several of the charity’s leaders as officials in the Islamic Association for Palestine.

Bank records show financial transactions between both organizations and Marzook, which prosecutors contend shows that Hamas invested seed money in the U.S. groups so they could then raise more funds for Hamas from American Muslims.

Douglas Farah, author of “Blood from Stones,” a book on terrorists’ financial networks, said the document trail reveals something he and others had surmised but didn’t know for sure— that the groups were part of a coordinated strategy for raising money and support in the United States for radical Islamic groups, including Hamas.

“It’s clear these groups grew out of an effort to carry out a specific strategy in the United States,” Farah said. “It’s in their own words, it’s a political infiltration that worked for 40 years.”

Parvez Ahmed, chairman of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, denied that his group or its current or former leaders had any ties to Hamas.

“That’s one of those urban legends about CAIR,” he said.

“It’s fed by the right-wing, pro-Israeli blogosphere.”

Ahmed said the Philadelphia gathering attended by CAIR’s founder, “was an open meeting of Palestinian activists who came together to discuss the Olso peace accords and their struggle to gain a homeland.”

Some of the evidence in the case came from wiretaps, including an FBI recording of the Philadelphia meeting at which participants referred to helping Hamas or Samah—Hamas spelled backward. Much of that material had surfaced in earlier trials of other men accused—and acquitted—of aiding terrorists.

Other information came from Israeli military operations, and some came from a 2004 raid at the Virginia home of a former aide to Marzook. Other evidence was literally unearthed—dug up from the backyard of a home where an unindicted co-conspirator of the Holy Land defendants once lived.

One of the documents is a memo about the goals for the U.S. organization of the U.S. faction of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose members included some of the Holy Land leaders now on trial.

The writer of the memo, Mohamed Akram, wrote that members of the brotherhood “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

But will the inflammatory comments of associates matter in the trial of five leaders of Holy Land Foundation? They are accused of aiding terrorists, conspiracy, money laundering and tax charges.

Joshua Dratel, the attorney for one of the Holy Land defendants, said in court that prosecutors were spending lots of time telling jurors about associates of the defendants “rather than evidence of any crime.”

Dratel said his client didn’t help Hamas and didn’t want to see Palestinians or Israelis killed. Defense lawyers said Holy Land raised money for schools and hospitals, not terrorists.

The mountain of documents, including records of dozens of financial transactions between Holy Land and Palestinian charities allegedly controlled by Hamas, won’t necessarily translate into convictions against the Holy Land defendants, said Dennis Lormel, who worked on terrorist-financing issues at the FBI and is now a consultant.

“It’s difficult to follow,” said Lormel, who like Farah has blogged about the trial. “If you’re the government, you want to simplify as much as you can.”

Two other high-profile cases of men charged with helping terrorists ended in acquittals on the major charges. If that happens in Holy Land, the government will have to rethink its strategy of building cases on mountains of documents, Lormel said.

“The government will have to see if you can get informants and undercover agents, but that’s a very difficult thing to do,” he said. “Penetrating those groups would be a tremendous challenge.”

From yet another article, this one on Sami al-Arian, posted at JW:

"Sami Al-Arian has received much support from CAIR’s Executive Director, Nihad Awad. Last February, Awad, along with Eric Vickers, a man that had called the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster “an act of divine retribution against Israel,” spoke at a fundraiser for Al-Arian’s release. The event was held at Masjid Al-Qassam (a.k.a. Islamic Community of Tampa), the mosque Al-Arian helped found, which was named after the infamous PIJ mosque in Gaza. The next day, Awad and Vickers were listed as speakers at a vigil for Al-Arian, outside the Hillsborough County Orient Road Jail, where Al-Arian was being detained. Pictures from the vigil were found on the website belonging to Bedier’s assistant in the Tampa-CAIR office, Danya Shakfeh.

It would be good if someone at CAIR or anywhere else pointed out a single factual error in "Obsession." Do those people shown in the documentary say the things they mean to say, do they believe them? Were those segments made by, or merely bits of films collected by, those who made "Obsession"? Is there anything untruthful in the film? If so, what is it?

It is incredible that CAIR has decided to aggressively attempt to interfere with Americans practicing freedom of speech, and especially to do so in the context of an election. Apparently the members and leaders of CAIR do not understand, do not wish to understand, what the First Amendment free speech guarantees are all about. They simply wish to do away with them, as they would, if they could, do away with so much of the Constitution, which is flatly contradicted by the Shari'a. They might, given their unsavory record, and given the observable behavior of so many Muslims, and their mistreatment and persecution and murder of non-Muslims from Indonesia to Malaysia and Thailand, to Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India itself, to Iraq and to Egypt and to Saudi Arabia and to Jordan, and right through to the Sudan and the Maghreb, and wherever Muslims feel powerful enough, in Dar al-Islam or even in Dar al-Harb, to behave in the manner that Islam inculcates, including the contempt for Infidel manners and customs and laws, especially laws, that the behavior of CAIR, in bringing this absurd lawsuit, with these absurd claims, shows so clearly. When the Jihad finally comes to be recognized as a war, when American citizenship is no longer handed out like confetti to those who arrive with undeclared mental baggage that constitutes a permanent threat to our legal and political institutions, when people remember that those aliens who are held to be a danger during wartime can be treated under the Alien Enemies Act, the only one of the original Alien and Sedition Acts of 1794 to have continued in force right up to the present day, when one considers all that, it amazes that CAIR's leaders dare to do what they do.

But the more outrageous they are, the more the movie "Obsession" will receive mention in the press, on television, and on the Internet, and it is CAIR that will keep the movie in the news, and assure a wider audience.

So be it.

So what! So what if "Obsession" was distributed by a group wishing to influence voters. Most of those voters are little, or not at all, aware of the danger to their freedom and security, indeed to the entirety of all Western values, that Islam -not "radical" Islamists, but the whole of Islam as a social-ideological system- posses. Maybe this video will open some eyes, really frighten peoeple, as it should. Yeah, a little "anti-Muslim hysteria" now, instead of after an(other) Islam-caused calamity, is not such a bad thing. And, it's time to rid the USA of organizations like CAIR, as one would rid the neighborhood of a rabies-infected animal.

CAIR a non-profit organisation is always involved in politics. Heck, the FEC needs to investigate them, big time. The Clarion Fund needs to call to request an investigation. Their site along with the postal and email addresses:

The initial reaction is usually disbelief and dismissal.

That seems to be the hardest part, convincing people in the West that Islam is NOT like other religions.

It's often frustrating, sometimes it has even cooled off longtime friendships, because some friends just refused to believe that the religion of a modern, muslim friend of theirs is just ..... evil.

More on Nihad Awad:

After some checking, we found out that our homeboy Nihad gave a $500 campaign contribution to Jerry Connelly who's running for Congress, the present Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for Fairfax County who extended the lease on the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, VA even though a report sent to the State Department proved the ISA is teaching kids to hate Americans and that Jews and Christians are pigs and apes. This same Jerry Connelly appointed the dhimmi Chief of Police, David Rohr, who is in bed with CAIR and allowed the Higgins Center training to be tossed out in favor of a program implemented by CAIR. (I'm sorry, I must have missed something...since when does CAIR dictate policy to American police departments?)

Some police officers who took the Higgin's training told me it was awesome and was very effective in training police to watch for infiltration in their departments. They said the CAIR program is PC crap. This is the same Fairfax County Police Department that kept on the traitor, Sgt. Weiss Rasool, after he tipped off a friend from his local mosque that he was being tailed by the FBI, after Sgt. Rasool searched through the department database. Sgt. Rasool lied of course but then was busted when prosecutors presented a taped message that he had left on the friend's home answering machine. Rasool was kept on with pay while the department investigated but he decided to quietly resign this past summer when his attorney suggested it might be a good idea. I heard that Connelly was furious this little tidbit was leaked to the press, although I couldn't find it anywhere. You can read more about this here:

An idea,

Great comment on this story. I recommend that we post these comments on CAIR's site, newspapers that carry this story in a effort to educate the media and demonstrate that we the people are years ahead of them when it comes to Islam.

CAUTION:

Should you decide to contact CAIR. Please do not do so from your work email. Get a Gmail or hotmail account. CAIR has been known to contact the employers and make the aware of the email. In some cased people have lost their jobs.

Be well and safe.

CAIR is anti American organization. Every case they take is always against America or Americans. CAIR has never taken an American side against terrorists or terrorism. They should take the 'A' out of CAIR so that it reads CIR (Counsel for Islam Relations). There is nothing American about CIR (C_IR).

The uproar was expected...or should have been.

CAIR cannot remain silent. Their actions and remarks were predictable.

Hooking up the distribution of the film with political interference to effect the election, is in itself a political interference designed to effect the election.
This way CAIR has a double punch...They get to complain about muslim sensitivities, and get to help out 'their candidate Obama', by somehow turning Obsession into a political statement for McCain.
And then suing over it...This is manufactured by CAIR...What Hooper left out at the end of his statement was 'Vote Obama'...

The answer to that is more distribution of "Obsession, and other Islamic 'documentaries'.
The more the better, the more markets the better.
Flood the place until only people living in caves in Siberia have not heard of it...

We got one in the mail yesterday - I thought it was just being handed out with publications? How many homes are targeted (or I should say blessed) with free copies in the U.S...anyone know?

Nevermind - should have read the whole article before asking the question...

Yes, and even today they continue to muck around with the sun. (Solar wind speed at 50 year minimum). When will it stop?

So, this is a Zionist conspiracy (according to CAIR). In fact, CAIR acronym should be associated with "Crooks Against Intelligence and Rationality".

Even if this is the handiwork of Joooos, I am delighted. Where do I send a cheque to finance more such films? This Hindu is in total solidarity with the JOOOOOS.

I bought the Obsession DVD over a year ago, long before John McCain became the Republican candidate for President.

It is a stretch to connect the two!

"Islamic civil rights" that's an oxymoron in any Islamic theocracy on the planet. Only in the hated west do these idiots have any rights. Adapt to the west or get out and go back to the homeland to which you are loyal.

I was under the impression that even so much as a funny look in the direction of Muslim was an offense in the eyes of Islam and liable to be labeled without the least shred of evidence as part of an insidious plot against Muslims. They'll also probably come up with an insidious plot centered around Obama, too.

Posted by: Aaron Solomon Adelman [TypeKey Profile Page] at September 25, 2008 6:31 PM

This is telling in two other regards:
1. CAIR concedes that Islam is a politcal movement; and
2. CAIR appears to be supporting Obama, or at least opposing McCain.

Speaking of which, doesn't this violate CAIR's 501(c)(3) status as a pro bono civil rights organization?
