Will he, as President, sacrifice that freedom in an attempt to build the bridges with the Islamic world that he has boasted of being able to build? Here is a full discussion of that possibility.

I hope that Barack Obama, when he becomes President, will become a staunch defender of the First Amendment against attempts by the Muslim Brotherhood and the Organization of the Islamic Conference to limit it or destroy it altogether. But his hiring of Joseph Sandler is not at all reassuring.

Many believe this election is already pre-determined, and there are ominous insinuations about what will happen if BO does not ascend to the throne -- er, uh, presidency.

In any case, his choice of Joseph Sandler can not be a mere accident like running through the yellow pages and choosing a name.

No, more than likely it was a deliberate choice determined through "connections."

Not every qualified attorney who would wish to represent the diety BO -- will get the chance.

This is more than a mere portend of things to come -- it is blatant declaration of the "change" that will follow.

Some of the Christians say BO could be the anti-Christ; sometimes I wonder if they might be correct when I read about choices like this one.

Just as disturbing as Obama's past relationships are his lies in accounting for them, i.e., it's not just that he's a man of the Left, it's that he's a liar and a dissimulator.

He went to Trinity Baptist for 20 years, but he claims to have never witnessed Rev. Wright's vile anti-Americanism? He launched his political career from a fund-raiser at Bill Ayers house, but claims Ayers is just "a guy who lives down the street"...? His 'Audacity of Hope' chronicles the influence of his mentor in high school, a man he simply calls "Frank"...who turns out to be Frank Davis, card carrying member of the US Communist Party (why the attempt to hide Davis' identity).

Beneath his reasonable veneer, Obama is a radical, who heard Wright's sermons over and over and never judged them critically until the late date when his campaign was effected, who was perfectly comfortable working hand-and-glove distributing grant money (Annenberg Foundation) with unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, and who was savvy enough to try to hide the influence of Communist Frank Davis on the formation of his political mind.

PS - Obama insisted in the recent debate with McCain that emphasizing the teaching of math and science is a critical component of his educational policy. But when analyzing who was accepted and who was rejected in the distribution of the Annenberg funds he was presiding over in Chicago back in the mid 90s, we find the application of several math and science clubs REJECTED, while Afican-American studies, Chicano studies and other ethno-centric entities were accepted.

Obama is not what he appears to be, and it has nothing to do with his religion.

I am with Robert in his pessimistic assessment that Barack Obama is going to be our next President. Regretfully, I might add. Sen. Obama gives the benefit of the doubt to people like Edward Said and Rashid Khalidi, terrorist sympathizers and willing enablers of jihad terror. So, hiring a lawyer who dirties his hands with CAIR money is no surprise at all. Anyone who is shocked has not looked deeply into this man's life and associations.

God save my country. It is my earnest hope that during the coming four years of likely crisis and catastrophe that the young people who will put Obama over the top will learn the lessons most of my generation learned during the Carter years. I pray to God that Iran can somehow be stopped from flinging the hydrogen bomb in the direction of our allies and can be stopped from blackmailing us. I pray to God that a flawed energy policy does not mire our economy in stagnation. But I would never bet the farm that God will bail us out of our own mistakes.

Failure and messing up are the experiences which teach us our most enduring lessons.

Obama presents himself one way, but then we keep hearing reports of who his friends are. The guy scares me, and he's all wrong for freedom loving Americans. Vote No Way to Obama! I'm shocked and horrified that he's a senator.

However , when one sees how he became a U.S, Senator( including the MYSTERIOUS event(s) of TWO opponents' Sealed Divorce records appearing in Chicago Media), and how winning the 2004 Illinois primary was ENOUGH for Still Illinois STATE Senator Obama,'candidate' for the U.S.Senate , to give the 2nd most important Democratic National Convention speech, the Keynote Address, which than "justified" his Presidential campaign and his defeating all challengers including early dropout Joe Biden.

I didn't think anyone else read Yid with Lid. Nobody else ever comments on Sam's posts anyway. It's a fantastic blog and it's actually gotten even better since he decided to post fewer, but more important stories. He does his homework. I wish JihadWatch had a MyYahoo! thingie like his blog does.

Sandler is also the attorney who tried to get the FL Supreme Court to overturn the FL election decision on behalf of Al Gore.

So he has a losing history of representing aggrieved Democrat candidates.

Sandler is also the attorney who represented the DNC and threatened those TV stations against running those Swift Boat Vet ads.

He also has sent letters identifying himself as representing MoveOn.org.

I imagine this guy has the lib market cornered. I suppose Obaby just reached out and tapped the closest non-constitutional lawyer he could.

But he's extremely high powered. If getting this case dismissed was so easy, and it was frivolous, he wouldn't need the best in the country, would he.

Looks like they've pulled out the big guns. Now why would they need that?

Win he may, but keeping the job is another matter. I have a number of mailings being sent from Obama's people, I am keeping them to check off the ones that fail to be completed.

I doubt they will be easy to read in the end, by the people that bow to his name.I plan to make sure they see every one of these mailings in a year, or two.

Thats if he wins, otherwise to the trash they go. Those papers burn, no matter what trash they are made into.
