German neo-Nazis view jihadists as allies

The organizers of the controversial anti-Islamization rally in Cologne last month have been widely described as neo-Nazis. However, in "German Neo-Nazis View Islamists as Allies," at Pajamas Media, October 10 (thanks to all who sent this in), John Rosenthal discusses a recently revealed report from the domestic intelligence service of the German city-state of Hamburg that shows that genuine, open National Socialists actually despise the pro-Cologne group for being pro-Israel. They also don't mind Islamic supremacism and the pending Islamization of Europe: "Inasmuch as it is a determined opponent of the western-plutocratic one-world policy, we regard Islam, globally considered, as an ally against the mammonistic dominance of the American east coast."

A pro-Israel, anti-Islamization Nazi group? It doesn't seem to add up -- according to the Nazis themselves. There has been far too much superficial and polemical analysis of the "far-right" parties in Europe -- with even people who are skeptical that a given group is neo-Nazi, neofascist, or white supremacist being tarred with those labels themselves, simply because of their skepticism. But here is something more solid to go on.

When protesters in Cologne last month managed, with the blessing of the city government, to prevent the holding of an “Anti-Islamification Congress,” the cancellation of the event was widely hailed in the German and international media as a victory against “right-wing extremists” or, more simply put, “Nazis.” (See here, for instance, from the English-language site of the German weekly Der Spiegel.)

A new report from the domestic intelligence service of the German city-state of Hamburg shows, however, that actual neo-Nazi groups in Germany — i.e., groups that themselves embrace this description — in fact likewise opposed the “Anti-Islamification Congress” and are notably hostile to its sponsor, the “citizens’ movement” Pro-Cologne [Pro-Köln].

While the neo-Nazis agitate against what they describe as Germany’s “flooding by foreigners” — or “Überfremdung” — they take precautions against criticizing Islamic influences or Islam as such, since the latter is rather “to be seen as an ally.”

The report of the Hamburg intelligence service — known as the Office for the Protection of the Constitution [Verfassungsschutz] — points in particular to the hostility of the neo-Nazi North German Action Office to Pro-Cologne’s “Anti-Islamification” campaign.

As the report notes, for the North German Action Office [Aktionsbüro Norddeutschland], Islam, “globally considered,” is to be regarded as “an ally against the mammonistic dominance of the American east coast.” Allusions to the American “east coast” are commonplace in Nazi discourse, with the expression meant to connote “Jewish” domination of America and, by extension, the world.

In a statement published on its website (German link) on September 25, five days after the “Anti-Islamification Congress” was banned by Cologne municipal authorities, the North German Action Office writes more fully on the subject as follows:

“Pro-Cologne’s” superficial populism against Islam sends a completely wrong signal, about which only pro-Israeli circles could be happy. Whoever thinks things out more completely than the niche-populists of Pro-Cologne will clearly differentiate between the “Anti-Islamism” that is fostered by the establishment parties at the behest of the USA and the necessary fight against the policy of flooding Germany with foreigners [Überfremdungspolitik], whose authors are likewise the establishment parties. Islam is not the cause of the flood of foreigners, but only a particularly visible symptom. … The problem is the system, not the mosques.

Inasmuch as it is a determined opponent of the western-plutocratic one-world policy, we regard Islam, globally considered, as an ally against the mammonistic dominance of the American east coast. The freedom of nations is not threatened by Islam, but rather by the imperialism of the USA and its vassals from Jerusalem to Berlin.

The statement bears the title “The Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing and Their ‘Anti-Islamification Congress.’” As opposed to Germany’s mainstream media, which suggest that Pro-Cologne is a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” — i.e., an apparently “normal” democratic party that in fact harbors radical intentions — the North German Action Office accuses it of being rather a “sheep in wolf’s clothing.” The “Campaigns” page of the North German Action Office website includes links with titles such as “National Socialists in Lower Saxony,” “Free! Social! National!,” and “May 1 — Day of struggle for national Socialism.”

The same people who oppose Germany being "flooded by foreigners" see those who would bring Islam into Germany as allies. Still more proof that the old axiom is timeless.

Comparing Mein Kampf and Quran. Birds of a feather flock together.

Mein Kampf:426 "The Jew considers all money transactions as his own privilege, which he exploits ruthlessly. Manipulating money has become his monopoly - especially his usurious rates of interest.... It's a sign of open hatred, of his blood-sucking tyranny...a scourge of God." Allah agrees: Qur'an 4.160 "For the iniquity of the Jews We made unlawful for them certain things in that they hindered many from Allah's Way. They took usury, though they were forbidden; and they devoured men's wealth on false pretenses."

Mein Kampf:486 "The greatness of a movement is exclusively guaranteed by the unrestricted development of its inner strength to achieve final victory over all competitors. The justification...for fighting to achieve complete victory...is caused by absolute intolerance." Muslim:C9B1N31 "I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and believe in me (that) I am the messenger and in all that I have brought. Qur'an 9.123 "Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you."

I wonder how all those lefty socialist protesters who blocked the pro-Cologne group fit into this? Their rhetoric at times sounds a lot like these Nazis. Birds of a feather!

Considering the connection between Adolf Hitler and the Mufti of Jordan..this alliance is not surprising.

The Nazis were Socialists, and as such they are falsely depicted as 'right-wing' - it is the left that was in cahoots with the Muslims then and now we are seeing it again.

Ethoman

For a Qur'an vs Mein Kamph comparison, read this article. In fact, it even throws in Bukhari's Hadith and Ibn Ishaq's Sira.

PMK

The only people who would contribute large numbers of anti-Semites to Nazi orgs would be the Mohammedans - an alliance that dates back to WWII in Yugoslavia. This sleeping arrangement ain't all that strange.

This is, in part, why it was a good decision for Geert Wilders' to hold his anti-Islamization of Europe conference in Israel. The neo-Nazis are not likely to follow him to that venue.

Posted by: Stendec [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 11, 2008 10:48 PM

Stendec,

Israel is so off the rails I would not in the least bit be surprised if the Ol-merdes & Co. accuse him of 'hate-speech' and shut the whole thing down.

PC is worse than AIDS.

Sheik,

You're likely right. But I thought Olmert was gone (?), although his successor is apparently no better. But if that conference in Israel does happen, the world reaction should be interesting. It will be the vast European socialist left, including the neo-Nazis, all the Arab/Islamic countries, the Israeli appeasers of the Kadima Party, and (probably) Obama & company against Geert Wilders. Kind of like the Alamo.

The new totalitarianism is an amalgam of nazism, communism and islamism. Socialism and fascism may be included.

This amalgam is called nazislam.

In any of these creeds which comprise nazislam the goal is and always has been totalitarian control the the world. Mass collective control.

National Socialism (nazism) never was a national movement it was an expansionist empire-building socialist movement. That's what was meant by the "Third Reich".

Musolini's fascists were also empire builders.

At least modern day expansionist totalitarians have the honesty to call themselves the International socialists (internazis).

However, totalitarianism is a mindset and what we see now is a vying for power. The doctrines are being welded into nazislam where we will be ruled by sharia law. Where we are ruled from is the big battle. Mecca, Brussels, Moscow, Washington and soon New Delhi and Beijing will enter the fray.

The liklihood is that there will be several superempires, but rule by fear under sharia will be common to all these superempires.

and you can't debate them because they're so wrong thinking wise that they think the nazi's were a right wing group.

I do not understand why anyone would not understand this. I knew it 40 years ago when I was a child. Timoth McVay(sp) & Terry Nichols certainly knew it. the KKK knew it, the head of the KKK in Georgia back in the 60's was an Arab

The neo-nazis in bed with the jihadists. I've been saying for centuries that's the perfect match! Nazislam is a great term, I have to include that in my books. Thanks a lot.

Not surprising at all. Nazis and Muslims have been in bed together - probably actually as well as figuratively - since the early 1930s. Sort of a mutual admiration society - the major point in common being their shared hatred of Jews, but they found other things to like about each other, too.

See Carlson, 'From Cairo to Damascus' to find out how many former Nazis got a warm welcome in the middle east after WWII.

One of the most notorious Nazi propagandists - Johann Von Leers, special protege of Goebbels and author of a truly poisonous article that is reproduced in full in Bostom's 'Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism' - ultimately converted to Islam.

Your logic is flawed, Mr.Spencer.
First of all, the example you gave is just one group, an exception. The underworld of white supremacism and neo-nazism is wide and diverse, just like any ideology.
At StormFront they're Anti-Islam, and you have many fans there by the way, just google JihadWatch+StormFront. Yet, they're white supremacists, and even a dishonest chap like you can't deny it.
The Guys of American Renaissance are White Supremacists, Anti-Islam and philo-semitic too.

Add to that, not all Racist groups are Neo-Nazis, Not all fascist groups are racists, and not all White Supremacist groups are Anti-Semitic.
I can give you hundreds of examples if you want. So your attempt to whitewash Racist and fascist groups is just, sad and pathetic.
Your blog is becoming less and less visited, more and more marginal, your books' sales are decreasing dramatically, and if you want to know why....here is a tip, look at a mirror.

Posted by: Albert Lorenzo [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 13, 2008 4:04 AM

Albert I'm afraid it's your logic that's flawed. Mr Spencer has no more control over who links to him and uses his work than the atmosphere has over who breathes it. The mere fact that someone links to Jihad Watch does not, in any reasonable assessment, make Jihad Watch a supporter of that persons views.

It seems inevitable, once a stance is taken that the various non-threatening expressions of nationalism are not automatically "evil", that accusations of closet nazism and fascism are thrown about.

Posted by: Archonix [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 13, 2008 5:12 AM

It's interesting that the Nazis emphasize the need to combat capitalism. As a straight-out conservative I've always considered capitalism to be one of the finest human achievement, and capitalism for the masses is probably the best that could happen to society.

Nazism and other fascist ideologies hate capitalism.

Posted by: Henrik [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 13, 2008 6:03 AM

Albert, if you want to do everyone a favor, please go battle the Stormfront people instead of trying to smear Robert for them linking to him.

I suggest to ask "What can I do for my culture?" Discrediting the Stormfront people (whom I'd never have heard about if it wasn't for Charles Johnson and Little Green Footballs) just might be useful.

Posted by: Henrik [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 13, 2008 6:06 AM

Dear Albert Lorenzo:

Not only are your repeated attempts to smear me as a white nationalist based on lies and faulty logic, but there is also a problem with your statement here:

Your blog is becoming less and less visited, more and more marginal, your books' sales are decreasing dramatically

The problem? Neither of those things are in fact true.

Cordially
Robert Spencer
