Jihadist reactions to the election of Obama from the Arabic forum Hesbah (pdf here), via Jihadica, November 5 (thanks to Little Green Footballs 2):
Reaction from the members of Hesbah, the last of the top-tier Jihadi sites to remain open:* Abu Ahmad al-Salafi: “The election of this black man to the Black House will improve the image of the New Rome in the eyes of the world. Al-Faruq `Umar [the second caliph] was right when he said that Rome is the fastest to recover after a catastrophe. That’s what has happened with the election of this black man.”
* Al Hakim: “Today America elected Obama because al-Qaeda wanted it, after God desired it! In 2004 America elected Bush because al-Qaeda had wanted it, after God desired it!”
* Abu Ahmad al-Salafi: “I think the election of McCain would have been more beneficial and useful to the Muslims than this black slave. This Christian is a fanatical supporter of the Jews and (his election) will raise the market shares of Western democratic capitalism (even though it is) in the final throes of death.”
* Al Hakim: “Brother Abu Ahmad al-Salafi, like you I believe that al-Qaeda wants the election of the Republican candidate McCain. But the organization has been quiet until now, when Obama has been elected. There can be only one reason for this: the organization is taking the next step after the success of its previous plan against the wildly stupid Republican Party. ["Wildly stupid" is apt. -- RS] The new plan requires a massive effort from al-Qaeda and we are behind it. The Democratic Party is diplomatic and smart.”
* Abu Mus`ab al-Mujahid: “We will not stop from seeking (America’s) destruction…”
* `Abd Allah al-Harbi: “The victory of Obama means the departure of the occupier from Iraq, humiliated, exhausted, defeated, and broken.”
* Umuruzi al-Misri: “Unbelief is one community, meaning Bush, Obama, and McCain are the same.”
* Al-Nasr lil-Islam: “Obama is the black gloves that the American cowboy will wear to strike Muslims, so don’t rejoice too much.”
* elhajgamal: “Greetings noble brothers. Is it permissible for us to address him by the color of his skin just because he is an enemy infidel whom we hate on behalf of God?”
* Al-Nasr lil-Islam: “We say ‘black’ because he is not white. There is not place for racism among Muslims.”

I assume that Allah's eye is on the sparrow, and that absolutely nothing happens, past, present, or future, without his wanting it to happen. In that case, I'd kinda like to know which is his all-time favorite: Kelly Clarkson, or Ruben Studdard? And what does he think the chances are for the new Thursday night lineup at NBC? And while we're at it, does he recommend moving out of gold and into pork bellies right now, or should I wait until after Christmas? And who's going to win the Superbowl?

They're all over the place! The best one has to be:
* elhajgamal: “Greetings noble brothers. Is it permissible for us to address him by the color of his skin just because he is an enemy infidel whom we hate on behalf of God?”
They HATE ON BEHALF OF GOD?
Talk about presumption!

You all should have seen the anti-black racism that was directed at Dr. Rice in the Arab media the past 4 years that she has been Secretary of State

"the election of McCain would have been more beneficial and useful to the Muslims than this black slave"
I've been wondering how long it'll take before they start calling him "abd". Well, it didn't take long before arabo-muslim racism shows its ugly head.

"...this black slave."
From the story.
Freudian slip? Obama's blackness derives from his Kenyan father and does not include any slavery in his family history of which I'm aware, although presumably his wife does - anyone know about her family history? - and Obama has certainly embraced the cultural narrative of slavery. Obviously someone here is not so discriminating and outright equates blackness with slavery. Obama has these guys, all of them, as confused as he does everyone else! LOL.

No racism among Muslims, huh? I'm sure "black snake" Condoleeza Rice and "black slave" Barack Obama would agree. Can you even imagine this sort of naked racism in the West?

Eastview,
Though Barack Obama is not descended from slaves brought to America, the Arabs were big in the slave trade. They would view anyone of his skin color as slave material. Isn't it happening today in the southern part of Sudan? Black Christians are being sold into slavery.

Many Muslims refer to *all* blacks as slaves--whether or not their ancestors were enslaved in America is immaterial. As has been pointed out here before, the Arabic word for "black" and "slave"--"abd", or "abeed" are identical.
More to the point, Arab enslavement of black Africans continues to this day. It is part of the government plan in Sudan against Darfur and southern Christians and animists, and it is common in Mali, Niger and elsewhere.

Now - just think, if this President didn't have all those worrying associations and that naive view of Islam.
Suppose he was not only A. the first black President of the USA, the most militarily powerful and richest nation on earth
BUT
B. knew, and was icily, rationally, angry (as any decent, intelligent human being should be) about all those dreadful things that, as Mr Fitzgerald has been telling us for the past three-four years, Islam (the Arab Imperial Religion, the vehicle for Arab supremacism as Nazism was for Aryan supremacism) has done to black Africans, for over 1000 years, and is still doing, in Darfur and Southern Sudan and Nigeria...
They would be hiding in spider holes.

The 'they' in the final line of my posting above, being the jihadis and their enablers.
Where are the black Christian preachers, in the USA, and the black non-Muslim refugees from Jihad, also in the USA, who can - somehow - tell, and keep on telling, this President that Islam, Islam, Islam is his (because he is black, a non-Arab), and their, implacable and viciously racist enemy? That Islam is a monstrous *thing* that is drenched in the blood of millions of black boys from Africa seized, and emasculated, and enslaved (those few who survived their castration) for use in harems, and as slave soldiers. A *thing* that mass murdered non-Muslim blacks in Biafra in the 1960s and has been steadily butchering and raping and enslaving in southern Sudan - since the 1950s.

I don't know, that has got to be the most telling statement any organization has ever uttered, as well as the stupidest.

So what is Obama's involvement in Kenyan elections all about? He backed the tribal leader Raila Odinga, who is from the same tribe as Obama's father and is also a Muslim sympathizer. In "Obama Nation", Jerome Corsi states that Odinga "appears to have allied with radical Muslims in Kenya whose main agenda is to advance aggressively the cause of Islam in Africa."
Islam and the welfare of black Africans would seem in grave conflict. Obama has one foot on each side of this fence.

dumbledoresarmy: I have a rather unpleasant feeling, and I am doing research on things I have heard and noticed, that when Africans come to the West, no matter what their history of conflict has been in Africa, (and this of course includes Jihad), they unite socially on the basis of colour and nationality, and this social solidarity can over-ride their loyalty to principle, to religion, to history and memory and to their new country. I am not sure how widespread this is, but it does seem to be reflected in the US elections.

You, too, Jewel? You're also waiting for transport to the ReEducation And Correction Training camps? Will there be enough latrines there for all of us, once general disillusionment sets in, and the camps fill up? Will there be adequate accomodations for Tonya, when she finally joins up with you there?

While I suppose this dire prediction is possible, it won't be done enmass overnight.
Like the Civilian Security Force, that will be created to force security on civilians, can't happen immediately, it will take years to get to the 'just as well funded and powerful as the military' level. Tanks and battleships are expensive...
And in order for that to be effective, guns have to be taken away from those who might have a tendency to protect themselves from the protectors.
I expect that this administration won't last long.
The ineptitudes are wide ranging...The public can't stretch quite that far...I give it one year.

Also from above: You're also waiting for transport to the ReEducation And Correction Training camps...
I don't know about you John, but when a truckload of armed men come up my driveway, I'm going to paint red spots on my face and arms, and invite them in for prayer and fasting...

everyone knows Islam does not practice racism...Muslims kill everyone, even their own, without regard to race, creed, or color...

Obama is descended entirely from slave OWNERS, not slaves: http://www.politicalislam.com/blog/obama-and-slavery/
Pulsar, Islam is incredibly racist:
Muhammad is a white man
Arabs are the best of people (this is white racism, the irony being that they were white before they decided that raping black African women was their favorite pasttime for 1300 years, hence the lack of any black minorities in the Middle East despite the 1300-year slave trade)
Kill the Turks and people with flat faces and small eyes
Turks go to hell
Blacks go to hell
Blacks are 'raisinheads,' 'Allah's dumbest creatures,' and comapable to feces
A dream of a black African is like an epidemic (or a is a bad omen depending on the translation)
There is no way to say 'black person' in Arabic without calling them 'slaves'

I keep an extra clip loaded for when this happens.
Also, with regard to PG's comment about Africans, it's true. Arabs divide the world into Arab and non-Arab, and black Africans divide the world into 'red people' and blacks. My field methods professor, a Christian from Ghana who has lived in Europe and America for decades and is absolutely brilliant, incredibly kind, funny, and brutally honest, is very open about this fact, as is a Cameroonian friend of mine who functioned as my protector after I moved to Texas at 18 and didn't have a car for 2 years. They also tend to be chracteristically honest, which I admire very much. I wish whites and even Western blacks were that open about their opinions regarding race.
