Proportionate response
Muslims "will never forget the ridicule of the best human beings in the world and of the last messenger." And some of them are still aching to kill for it.
"Somali reportedly threatens Denmark in new Al-Shabaab internet video," from Politiken via Mareeg, November 11 (thanks to Europe News):
Militant groups in Africa are threatening Denmark. According to the PET [Danish Security and Intelligence Service], Danish interests abroad are the most likely targets.Denmark and Danes abroad are again being threatened with terrorism after the reprinting of the Muhammad caricatures.
This time, the warning comes not from Pakistan or Afghanistan, but from a Sunni Muslim group in Somalia that is known to have training camps and close ties to the Al-Qa'idah terrorist network. In a video posted to the Internet, a recruit from the Al-Shabab group vows revenge against "the dirty dogs in Denmark."
"May God break their hands for what they have done," the young man prays. He is masked by a PLO scarf and is posing behind an antitank missile. In broken English, he promises that Muslims "will never forget the ridicule of the best human beings in the world and of the last messenger."
"So sleep with thoughts of our sword, which is dripping with your blood," is the message from the windblown edge of a forest.
Focus on Embassies
After Danish newspapers reprinted the Muhammad caricatures in February, following the exposure of plans to murder cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, the Danish Embassy in Pakistan was hit by a suicide attack that killed eight people. At the same time, the Afghan Al-Qa'idah warned "this is only the beginning, God willing."
Against that background, security at Danish embassies abroad has been stepped up considerably, and the Foreign Ministry is preparing to spend 100 million kroner on better surveillance of embassies in the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
Over the last six months, the Danish Security and Intelligence Service has raised the threat level twice. In June, the PET wrote that a terrorist attack on Danish interests abroad could take place "without warning."...

One by one, let's pull all our people out of every one of these countries. They clearly have no comprehension of civilized behavior.

Why on earth do we continue to have any dealings with these backward countries that have nothing whatsoever to offer us except ingratitude and hatred?
If they have any minerals, let the Chinese help get them out of the ground and see what happens when they threaten them.

How does 100 million kroner translate into, say, American dollars, Australian dollars, and English pounds?
Denmark is only a small country - 5 million people, with a per capita income just a little higher than per capita income in the US.
100 million kroner is a lot of money that, only 20 or 30 years ago, the Danes could have spent on something other than trying to defend themselves against murderous Mohammedans.
Yet more proof of Mr Fitzgerald's oft-repeated dictum:
“The large-scale presence of Muslims in the Lands of the Infidels has created a situation,
"both for the indigenous Infidels and other Infidels who have arrived, hoping to share the fruits of that Infidel nation-state, its political and legal institutions, its stability, its guarantee of individual rights,

Of course, the Danes wouldn't have to spend large amounts of money securing embassies in the Muslim countries of the Middle East, and in North Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan, if they simply shut down those embassies...whilst also requiring that those Embassies from Muslim countries in the Middle East, from North African countries, and from Pakistan and Afghanistan, presently operating in Denmark, should also be shut down immediately and their staff depart from Denmark, pronto.
Let all relations with those Muslim countries be hitherto conducted at arms' length.

No wonder the sorry state of Muslim countries. Yes the gulf states have all the black gold money and using to spread their influence world wide by promoting and using Stealth Jihad, other than that they have nothing. Their societies are oppressed and controlled. The violence taught by Islam against non Muslims has driven them on overdrive the criminal they have to emulate Mohammad has made them retarded Jihadis. Their ability to think creativity to benefit and uplift society has been brain washed by Islam and to question it has clouded there judgments to see how their societies are marked by violence, chaos and murder. No innovations there are some exceptions. Their lust for the rule of Islam all over the world and killing all non Muslims or subjugating them will bring about a deluded Islamic peace. Looking at Islamic societies I doubt that very much.

A cousin of my grandfather flew from Nazi Germany to Denmark and was very well received, the Danes are a lovely people. During the Nazi occupation they saved all the Jews in Denmark, the Danish ones and those who had fled there and brought them to neutral Sweden. Magne tak.
Somalia is a primitive, barbaric country, a breeding ground for terrorists. Just another head banger state under the rule of sharia.
Why don't they understand that in the civilised world freedom of speech is a right guaranteed to everyone?

Sahih Muslim, Book 020, Number 4681:
The tradition has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Qais. He heard it from his father who, while facing the enemy, reported that the Messenger of Allah [Muhammad] said: Surely, the gates of Paradise are under the shadows of the swords. A man in a shabby condition got up and said; Abu Musa, did you hear the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say this? He said: Yes. (The narrator said): He returned to his friends and said: I greet you (a farewell greeting). Then he broke the sheath of his sword, threw it away, advanced with his (naked) sword towards the enemy and fought (them) with it until he was slain.
(Most Islamic scholars agree that Sahih Muslim is one of the two most reliable hadith collections.)

Well Spot on, if the Barbarians can go around trumpeting that they are the "best" human beings in the world, despite a surfeit of atrocities in the 21st century levied upon innocent people, then I, as a civilized person, can surely counter with, "No, you're the worst."
And, the above IS what I really think, generally speaking, with tons of evidence we see here every day on JW supporting my belief.

All show and no go, most likely. Which is to say that those Muslims who threaten rarely put their own lives on the line. Those have to be hunted down, and their hidey-holes destroyed, in order to take them out.
And, what is it, with that man-hijab, anyway? Surely these strangers, who threaten first our way of life, then our lives in toto, can't think we'll recognize them!

I take them at their word. I wouldn't even debate with a Mohammedan if silverware was present. All knives and other implements would have to be removed from the premises, or no debate. That's how much I trust the self-control of Mohammedans when it comes to Infidels.

Don't know about you all, but *I'm* just about fed up with these posturing fools. I can't imagine the world is in a much better mood either. As the French and English are discovering, multiculturalism, appeasement, billions of aid dollars and even the fact that the UN & US militaries have -protected- Muslims in the past...(anybody wonder why Muslims seem to forget Bosnia, etc?)Seem to mean nothing, and are looked at with scorn and derision.
Good thing I'm not the Prez...these people sometimes act like spoiled two year olds, and how do you correct a spoiled tot? Set consistant limits & punishment that are carried out impartially, without heat in a firm manner. Offer correction and guidance when appropriate and prudent.
You preach hatred in your mosque in the US? Its gone. Demolished, and every member deported to an Arabic country. All your literature, tapes, websites and so on burned. All of your contacts, resources and networks now under watch.
Websites and netproviders allowing jihadist chats, mpegs and trainig or routing? Siezed, and or destroyed by the nastiest, most server-burning damaging viruses ever made.
Law factory / legal-threat mills for jihadist, Muslim agenda's? Any *hint* of this, staff deported, all on watch lists...
I'd immediately cut trade / aid to any country that had terror ties, embargo the snot out of them and blockaide the boogers till they screamed to high heaven for milk & flour. Cut them off so that yes, they can call to Allah for respite from killing, any medicines, surgeries and whatnot they'd need, until they got the message. Behave, act like decent human beings or we up the ante.
And God forgive me, if a terror attack did come again to our embassies or country...I'd destroy a mosque, training camp or even city, depending on the severity of the attack. Not cruise missiles, neutron bombs. IF you want the west to know terror, I'm a firm believer in returning the favor. If you see fit to kill innocent men, women and children, saying there are no such things as noncombatants, well, lets use their definition of combat.
Rome once tilled 20,000 casks of salt into Carthage, so that nothing would ever grow there again, perhaps we need to use the modern radiological stand-in on the cancer of Jihadist Islam.
