The Islamic Development Bank of Saudi Arabia explains its mission this way: "The purpose of the Bank is to foster the economic development and social progress of member countries and Muslim communities individually as well as jointly in accordance with the principles of Shari'ah i.e., Islamic Law."
What's the big deal about Saudi-sponsored Sharia finance? See here.
Isn't it grand how Bosnia -- as the learned analysts assured us -- was a secular state that was going to shine as a beacon of Islamic moderation in Europe and the world, and have nothing -- nothing! -- to do with the global jihad or Islamic supremacism?
"Islamic Development Bank's delegation visits Bosnia," from Bosnian News via Emportal, November 11 (thanks to Europe News):
The delegation signed the launch of a USD 5 million USD worth credit line for Bosnia's exporting enterprises yesterday with Bosna Bank International, which is seen by both sides as the beginning of a successful financial collaboration. The FBiH Entity Prime MinisterM Nedzad Brankovic met last Friday in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo with a delegation of the Islamic Bank for Development from Saudi Arabia, led by Ahmad M. Al-Ghannam.

Such deals are essential to offset the "imperialism" of those pesky, surrounded, Serbs.

From the BBC late in 2001:
Most Bosnian Muslims are determinedly secular.
But during the Bosnian war, when the West imposed an arms embargo, it was the Islamic countries, especially Iran, who gave the government army the guns they asked for.
Many Bosnians felt abandoned by the international community and a minority turned to radical Islam.

So lets see, what are they going to export?
Semtex, AK-47's, rocket-launchers, handguns, hand-grenades... hey, these $ 5 million will go a long way...

So, if speculative investment is classified as gambling and thus forbidden, and charging interest is forbidden, how do financial services turn a profit under Shari'ah?

No really, he doesn't have a complex...it's true...they are hiding under every bed...yup!
The jihadi boogeymen bankers...just ask him.
If it moves in a realm with more than one Muslim per hectare why it has to be some grand scheme, some super-ultra-organized-long-term-short-term-heck-any-term take over plan, right?
Truth?

How is it that this is not considered an "enemy action" by countries effected, such as England. Spreading Sharia constitutes the spread of civil unrest and Jihad in host countries. Since the Saudi's are financing it, they should be held accountable.

By whom? Our own president held the hand of the leader of a country that has done the most to spread jihad and is directly responsible, via its financing, for what happened to this country on September 11, 2001. No matter how much the Saudi government tries to separate itself from Osama bin Laden, the two are opposite sides of the same coin.
This means nothing to any of our illustrious presidents. All living presidents - past, present and elect, along with most dimwit elites, still regard Islam as a religion of peace. It has to be. Their livelihoods are bound up in it.
