The similarities between Aafia Siddiqui and Safia Jilani continue: both appear to be making up stories of suffering, and both are receiving "treatment" for (fictitious?) traumas "suffered." Of course, claiming torture is an old jihadist strategy. And if that doesn't work, you can always insist on wanting to "get on with your life," to get sympathy from infidels.

NEW YORK (AP) - A prosecutor says the U.S. government hasn't found a "shred of evidence" that a Pakistani woman accused of trying to kill a U.S. soldier and FBI agents was abducted or tortured in the five years before her arrest.Assistant U.S. Attorney David Raskin said investigators looked for information to support reports that Aafia Siddiqui (ah-FEE'-uh see-DEE'-kee) was detained in 2003 and held for years. He says it was more likely that Siddiqui disappeared in 2003 because she went into hiding after marrying an al-Qaida operative and because she knew 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed.
Raskin says the U.S. was responding to repeated allegations in published reports and found "zero evidence" that Siddiqui was abducted, kidnapped or tortured.
He spoke at a hearing in New York yesterday on a psychologist's conclusion that the 36-year-old Siddiqui is mentally unfit for trial.
Siddiqui is a former Boston-area resident who was educated at MIT and Brandeis University. She's confined to the Federal Medical Center Carswell in Fort Worth facility after she was brought to the United States in August to face attempted murder and assault charges.

Umm, excuse me but doesn't she have three small children? Where would a devout Muslimah who is dedicated to da' jihad and her Al-Qaeda husband get three small children if she was in a U.S. prison since 2003?
She is confusing our system with her system. American military men don't torture and rape women in U.S. military prisons. She must be confusing our guys with Muslim officials, prison guards, husbands, brothers and uncles under the Sharia system.
And mentally unfit to stand trial? If they let her go, how long before she's mentally fit to start making bombs again? 2 seconds?

Lesson Eighteen
PRISONS AND DETENTION CENTERS
IF AN INDICTMENT IS ISSUED AND THE TRIAL, BEGINS, THE BROTHER HAS TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. At the beginning of the trial, once more the brothers must insist on proving that torture was inflicted on them by State Security [investigators] before the judge.
2. Complain [to the court] of mistreatment while in prison.
3. Make arrangements for the brother’s defense with the attorney, whether he was retained by the brother’s family or court-appointed.
4. The brother has to do his best to know the names of the state security officers, who participated in his torture and mention their names to the judge. [These names may be obtained from brothers who had to deal with those officers in previous cases.]
5. Some brothers may tell and may be lured by the state security investigators to testify against the brothers [i.e. affirmation witness], either by not keeping them together in the same prison during the trials, or by letting them talk to the media. In this case,they have to be treated gently, and should be offered good advice, good treatment, and pray that God may guide them.
6. During the trial, the court has to be notified of any mistreatment of the brothers inside the prison.
7. It is possible to resort to a hunger strike, but it is a tactic that can either succeed or fail.
8. Take advantage of visits to communicate with brothers outside prison and exchange information that may be helpful to them in their work outside prison [according to what occurred during the investigations]. The importance of mastering the art of hiding messages is self evident here.
- When the brothers are transported from and to the prison [on their way to the court] they should shout Islamic slogans out loud from inside the prison cars to impress upon the people and their family the need to support Islam.
- Inside the prison, the brother should not accept any work that may belittle or demean him or his brothers, such as the cleaning of the prison bathrooms or hallways.
- The brothers should create an Islamic program for themselves inside the prison, as well as recreational and educational ones, etc.
- The brother in prison should be a role model in selflessness. Brothers should also pay attention to each others needs and should help each other and unite vis a vis the prison officers.
- The brothers must take advantage of their presence in prison for obeying and worshiping [God] and memorizing the Qora’an, etc. This is in addition to all guidelines and procedures that were contained in the lesson on interrogation and investigation. Lastly, each of us has to understand that we don’t achieve victory against our enemies through these actions and security procedures. Rather, victory is achieved by obeying Almighty and Glorious God and because of their many sins. Every brother has to be careful so as not to commit sins and everyone of us has to do his best in obeying Almighty God, Who said in his Holy Book: “We will, without doubt, help Our messengers and those who believe (both) in this world’s life and the one Day when the Witnesses will stand forth.”

To repeat what I suggested a couple of days ago: lock her up in an institution for the criminally insane for the rest of her life, with Big Nurse to "treat" her. Once she's in, she's in until cured, and it's easy to make sure she is never cured.

Why waste all this time with this faker and liar.
Sounds harsh, but bullets are cheap but on then she would be a martyr and in paradise. Oh yeah, she is in paradise, this country. Now which is paradise compared to the "awful" treatment she had while in a US prison. Her children are obviously slave children from Sudan or Somalia, those garden spots of islam that were captured when islamofacism moved into those countries. Her husband, does she care? I doubt it. All these types care about is being the victim, garnering attention how we are so islamophobic and full of hate towards them.
I think Hugh is giving her a bit too much credit bringing her up to modern islam standards of 630 A.D. Yes, she is more than mentally fit to stand trial. She is quite capable of building bombs, killing and wounding who knows how many if she got the chance. She does not deserve another chance, too much at atake and she is a very true danger to any of us who like our freedom and liberty. We like those values WITHOUT islam, without sharia law and preferably without muslims, if at all possible.

"Charter seeks golden rule" (Barney Zwartz, Religion Editor)
A global campaign to apply religion’s "golden rule" – treat others as you would like them to treat you – has been launched by Christians, Jews and Muslims.
The campaigners, claiming that compassion is at the heart of most religions, have launched an online Charter of Compassion and invited atheists and others to join them.
The movement is headed by a "council of sages" of world religious leaders, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, leading European Muslim Tariq Ramadan and Rabbi Baroness Julia Neuberger.
Author and interfaith advocate Karen Armstrong, a former Catholic nun who is one of the key organisers, says many people associate religion with violence, intolerance and dogma rather than compassion.
She wrote in Britain’s Guardian newspaper that most people misunderstood "compassion" as meaning pity, whereas it means "to feel with" the other. "This is crucial at a time when we are bound together – politically, economically and electronically – as never before but have rarely been more perilously divided," she wrote.
Millions of Christians, Jews and Muslims around the world will be invited to comment on a draft charter on a multilingual website. Then a multi-faith council of "inspirational thinkers" will write the final version. It is intended to lead and educate.
Because compassion is not confined to religious people, the charter’s founders hope to that atheists and agnostics will help work for a more compassionate world rather than berate religion. Dr Armstrong said religions must contribute to building a global community of mutual respect and help powerful nations follow the "golden rule".
The charter opens on Thursday with a preamble, followed by the eight core elements of compassion on November 20 and calls for action on November 27.
