More on this story. "Five hostages killed in Jewish center, chaos at hotel," from CNN, November 28:
MUMBAI, India (CNN) -- The bodies of five hostages have been found at a Jewish center in Mumbai, according to reports, but fighting still rages at a hotel in the city two days after terrorists launched a series of deadly attacks.
Israeli Foreign Ministry official spokesman Haim Hoshen told an Israel news station five bodies had been found.
CNN's Indian sister network, CNN-IBN, also reported the deaths and said the siege at the center -- Chabad House -- was close to ending.
Gunfire and explosions continued to ring out from the building.
Earlier, police said they had cleared the Oberoi Hotel, killing two militants and freeing hundreds of trapped guests. They found 30 bodies and were searching the building.
However, fighting continued to rage at the Taj Mahal Hotel -- where one gunmen was reportedly still holed up.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Hasan Gafoor told CNN-IBN the gunman was shooting and throwing grenades at security forces. [...]
CNN's International Security Correspondent Paula Newton said UK authorities were checking reports that some of the attackers were of British origin. [...]
The gunmen were young men in their 20s who "obviously had to be trained somewhere," a member of the Indian navy's commando unit said Friday.
They fired at guests "with no remorse" and knew the layout of the hotels well enough to "vanish" after confronting security forces, the commando said....

Kill passengers in airlines, kill them on the streets with bulldozers, kill them with human feces in England, kill them with suicide bombers, kill Jews, kill Hindus, kill and kill. Blow up buildings all in all the religion of peace Islam keeps up to its name.
I feel sad that these hostages were killed and deeply saddened that Islam and these Muslim thugs will probably get away with a slap on the wrist. I feel deep sorrow for the families of the killed hostages.

...kill them with human feces in England...
Really, when was this?
Fecal jihad, that about sums up Muhammadan's.

My thoughts and prayers to our brave Indian comrades. We must continue to strengthen our ties to the Indian people and it's government.
The Declaration of Independence was signed by all of the members present, since it meant they would "all hang together". The world community faces a familiar threat - tyranny. Every kuffir on this planet faces the tyranny of Islam - convert, be a dhimmi or die.
I will resist this with every drop of blood in my body. Never submit!

I hope I won't see any "essay" by Dhimminesh D'Souza on how Quranic tenets and islam have nothing to do with those attacks; and that "Hollywood values" are the real cause of those still-unfolding acts of terror committed in the name of Allah and his Camel Molester, al-insan al-kamil.

People, I just read this on the ABC News Blog:
Islam is a religion of hate: "In India, they fight with the Hindus. In Thailand, they fight with the Buddhists. In the Philippines, they fight with the Catholics. In the Middle East, they fight with the Jews. In Europe, they fight with the Christians. In China, they fight with the communists. In Germany, they fight with the Germans. In Malaysia, they fight with the Chinese and Indians. In France, they fight with the secularists and Catholics. In Russia, they fight with the non-Muslim Russians. In the US, they fight with the "house negroes", Latino workers, blind people with a dog, cab passengers with alcohol. In Denmark, they fight with the cartoons. In Sudan, they fight with a teddy bear named Muhammad. In Indonesia, they fight with other Muslims. They fight with just everybody. Why is that? "
Good one, eh?

I am going crazy. I had to work yesterday, and I encountered two people, one a Hindu Indian, another a Christian woman, and they were both blathering on and on about "fundamentalism" "poverty", "other religions are like that too", to which I kept interjecting NO, it's Islam! Jihadi's are generally from well-to-do families, I'm not seeing other religions doing this, etc., etc., all the knowledge arsenal I've learned here at Jihadwatch, and it seemed like they didn't hear a word! People have their agendas, and that's it, end of story. I had to be circumspect, so I wouldn't lose my job, but d*mn, my head's about to explode!

What major hotel chain, anywhere in the countries outside of Dar al-Islam, will now be quite so indifferent to the background of its employees, and a great deal more hesitant to employ Muslims? Would you go to a restaurant, as a Western tourist, where Muslims worked in the kitchen preparing dishes for Infidels? What about Muslims possessing keys to your Infidel rooms? What about Muslims who get to know the "layout of the hotel"? Any worries? Isn't safety not a matter of certainty, but a rapid calculation, always and everywhere, of likelihoods and probabilities of a certain harm being done, multiplied by the amount of harm that would be done?
What tourists from the Western world will now not be just a little alarmed to give their custom to hotels where among the staff there may be Muslims -- fine "moderate" people, so we may believe, and indeed they may be, but how do we know? How can we be sure? We are calculating those probabilities. Why should those with commercial interests not factor in the likely, if never openly expressed except in quiet changes in reservations, or no repeat visits, response of Infidels to being put partly under the watchful care and feeding of Muslims? Would you travel on the airline of a Muslim state, if you were not sure that the pilots were Infidels? What about the crew?
And so on. And so on. And if you read the texts of Islam, and posit a Muslim who takes those texts to heart -- and why shouldn't you? -- how else can you reasonably be expected to think, and then to act?

nichtdhimmi: I know how you feel. I get this everyday at work and amongst friends and acquaintances. It's a nightmare and getting more and more unbearable. I am exercising zero tolerance when faced with such craven and pathological denial, to the extent that I am ending my relationships with long standing friends. Not to mention family members. Bush was right about one thing...'you are either with us or against us'. I am nauseated by this mass appeasement of evil, this mindless identification with the enemy. Only today, a colleague argued that we only get one side of the story in the media and need to hear more about and respond to the terrorists' grievances and adding that the imperialist, colonialist and capitalist West has caused this. After attacks like these, this loathsome and contemptible moral equivalence, this mental illnes, fills me with rage. We are in the midst of a spiritual war and the battleground is everywhere, even in the office and canteen at work. There is no escape.

Unfortunately that's probably true...

Allah seems to accept Moslem blood sacrifices, too. They certainly kill lots of each other in his name.

Will major hotels abroad now change their policy of having a photocopy of guest's passports? Will they keep those photocopies in a secure place now?
Will they implement "terror" escape plans? Will tourists now stay at 1 star hotels instead of 5 star hotels?
What if this had happened in Miami, or San Fransisco? Would we be ready? Will we be ready now?
An eye-opener and hopefully all the authorities are taking note.
My heart goes out to those innocents that were slain in this massacre.

nichtdhimmi, johndoe,
I can relate. No-one listens, they look at you like you've got three heads, and my raving about the evils of islam has even affected my marriage. It is so disheartening.
It will be a grim satisfaction when we are proven right...

I think I must be luckier than you are. My brother and my father and stepmother (Kiwi origin) are on side - my dad because he remembers the news footage of the 1967 and the 1973 war, and having read Leon Uris' 'Exodus' he is firmly on the side of the Jews.
My husband doesn't like me stamping up and down with smoke pouring from my ears, and he thinks I spend too much time online here, but he basically agrees with me about the danger of Islam - he has read Spencer's books, and 'Infidel', and the Qur'an (Dawood translation).
My mother-in-law 'gets' it. She will share the information with her pew-mates in the Salvation Army church she attends. I gave her the article I wrote for our parish paper - an article that is a boiled down, somewhat simplified version of 'Islam 101'. I wrote it with nice suburban Aussie Christians in mind, people who know almost nothing about Islam.
Every person on our Christmas card list will be getting - in our Christmas letter - a plug for Spencer's books (my friends and family are used to me telling all and sundry about whatever terrific books I've read in the course of the year).
My parish priest is 'getting' it.
I go dog-walking with one of my nextdoor neighbours: she and I walk our dogs through the park, and chat. I have mentioned this and that to her - for example, that Muslims despise dogs and don't let people keep them as pets.
On Friday I raised the topic of the Mumbai jihad terror raids. What was interesting was that as I gave her the five-minute 'this is what they really believe' spiel, she understood perfectly - because she'd encountered a bunch of hijabbed females and their male minder strutting arrogantly through our local mall only recently.
They had walked right over the top of her, so to speak, completely refusing common courtesy, refusing to give way in the slightest - so I was able to tell her that when they do that to us, they're doing what they're told to do, in the Hadith (the bit about pushing the Christians and Jews to the narrowest part of the road). But what had got her - I think it had really spooked her - was their expressions - she described them as 'blank'. I think she was picking up on what jdamn has tried to describe here, sometimes: the fact that the truly brainwashed Mohammedan regards a non-Muslim as a nonperson, with cold contempt.
And then: here am I , standing in front of her, telling her exactly where that behaviour comes from, giving her the reason for that spooky experience; I was able to validate her unease, give her the information with which to make sense of it. I could *tell* I was getting through to her. That one unsettling experience had taught her, at gut level, what Mr Fitzgerald has told us over and over: that Islam views non-Muslims as Enemy Other. And now, because of what I've told her, she *knows*.
