Zardari may soon have to take those strong measures he promised if Pakistani involvement were proved. "Police: Pakistani militants behind Mumbai attacks," by Ramola Talwar Badam for Associated Press, November 30 (thanks to all who sent this in):
MUMBAI, India – The only gunman captured by police after a string of attacks on Mumbai told authorities he belonged to a Pakistani militant group with links to the disputed region of Kashmir, a senior police officer said Sunday.India has blamed "elements" from Pakistan for the 60-hour siege during which suspected Muslim militants hit 10 sites across India's financial capital, leaving at least 174 dead.
Joint Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria said the assailant now in custody — the only one of 10 to survive — told police the group had intended to hit even more targets.
"Lashkar-e-Taiba is behind the terrorist acts in the city," Maria told reporters. "The terrorists were from a hardcore group in the L-e-T." [...]
A previously unknown group called Deccan Mujahideen — a name suggesting origins inside India — has claimed responsibility for the attacks. But suspicion in Indian media quickly settled on Lashkar-e-Taiba, long seen as a creation of the Pakistani intelligence service to help wage its clandestine war against India in disputed Kashmir. [...]
And here comes the usual finger-pointing and attempt to claim victim status that we have so often seen from Muslim spokesmen in the wake of Islamic jihad attacks or honest discussion of the Islamic texts and teachings that jihadists use to justify their actions:
Speaking earlier Sunday, a spokesman for a Jamat-ud Dawa denied any link to Lashkar-e-Taiba and said he condemned the attack."We condemn the killings of civilians. We condemn such killings in a terrorist activity, and at the same time we condemn it happening in the shape of state terrorism, as we see in Srinagar, Kashmir," Abdullah Muntazir said, referring to alleged Indian army atrocities in Kashmir, which is claimed by both Pakistan and India....
Yeah, it's all the same: resisting the jihad in Kashmir is just like torturing and murdering a rabbi and his wife, isn't it? Just as speaking out against jihad and Islamic supremacism is the same thing as flying a hijacked airplane into an office building. We have heard all this many times before.

Has anyone asked him to define who is a civilian? Are non-muslums civilians?

Not to take sides is to take a side.
There are numerous Indians in the city I live in. Some of them will be supportive of the RSS.
The entirely sickening Canadian columnist Eric Margolis writes in the Edmonton Sun, "Hostages were taken, including Canadians, who have become targets due to their nation's military role in Afghanistan...." And, "Recently, Hindu extremists linked to the neo-fascist RSS and Hitler-admiring Shiv Sena movements have begun attacking Indian Muslims and Christians."
The RSS is not a perfect fit for me. Anyone have a better suggestion than actively supporting them? Margolis is a lying scum-bag, but that doesn't mean the RSS is perfect. Who do we work with?

The RSS is in no way perfect but when facing the Rabid dogs of Jihad, the RSS is India's best bet to save itself from Islamic domination.
It was the RSS that gave the Muslims League an eye for an eye on Direct Action Day in 1947 and it was the RSS that saved and evacuated Hindu and Sikh refugees from Pakistan in 1947 while the impotent Nehru government coul not figure out what to do.
GEN. Cariappa (Field Marshal) , told the Mangalore Shakha in 1959: "RSS work is my heart's work." He added: "If Muslims can sing the praises of Islam, what wrong is there if RSS sings the praises of Hinduism?" He concluded: "My dear young men, don't be dislurbed by uncharitable comments of interested persons. Dr. Hedgewar, the re- vered founder of this great organisation, has set before you a bright example of selfless devotion to the service of the motherland. Look ahead! Go ahead! This country is standing in need of your services alone."
Before Kashmir was invaded by Pakistan, the RSS had already made arrangements with the Maharaja to set up armed RSS workers to be prepared to defend the areas likely to be the first to be attacked by Paki forces. The RSS defended the convent in Barmullah and tried to save as many Christian Nuns as they could from the invading Paki army.
When Sardar Patel asked General Cariappa what was India's first line of defence in the Kashmir struggle, the General replied "The RSS".

As India and Pakistan tetter on the edge on war, it is the innocent victim's that always bear the brunt islamofacism no matter where it may rise from the depth's of hell. The previous article that the Israeli victims had extreme amounts of torture evidence and that they had been EXECUTED on the 26th, rather than held hostage is in depsutible proof that islam cannot be distanced nor separated from the Quranic teachings prevelant
throughout islam. There seems to be enough eveidence that Pakistani islamofacists were behind these terror attacks. If so, no diplomatic solution will work for very long, if at all. The world cries out how the moderate muslims abhor these islamofacsist terror attacks but again... where are the moderates of islam??? They do not exist and these tragic events just offer further proof of that.
What a surprise that the islamofacist murderers came from the hotly disputed Kashmir region!

ENOUGH TO SHOW the truth and horror that these victim's went through?? Does not look like it for now and why??? Are we so afraid of offending muslim sensitivities and then hearing them claim the poor islamic victim's stance? Or being misunderstood??? Who cares at this point and if the global community thinks they are "safe" from these types of attacks because they are not Jewish or Christian, then when you are next, then maybe then you will understand. who will now be emboldened to act out against any and all who are not followers of islam and those who refuse to convert to islam. If India and Pakistan go to war, they both have nukes and tactical nuclear weapons are a very real possibilty. Again, how many innocents would be killed due to the terror that stems from islam?
Really tragic thing is we just may find out sooner than later and we, the west will not like the results.

All the Hinduphobia in the Muslim world makes me so sad. The hate against idolators, against polytheists or atheists, against infidels in general and the call from their killing that litters the Qur'an. Will Muslims ever be called to account to denounce and reject their infidelophobia? Until that happens, the oppression of infidels in the world by the Muslims will continue forever. We must all work together to bring to the world's attention the fear that infidels live in today, the fear of attack from Muslims, the fear of oppression and conquest, essentially everything that comprises the disease of infidelophobia or kafirophobia. We should urge the Islamic states to protect kafirs against attacks and for sensitivity training to be held against kafirophobia.

The sources said that after some lengthy deliberations on the issue, the government has decided to give him a go ahead to import a fully armoured Land Cruiser for his use from Dubai. It was for the first time that the leader of a banned jehadi group had made such a request to the government and it is also for the first time that the government has acceded to such a request. ]

Oh please. NOT. You can't read any issue of the Organiser without hearing the Twilight Zone theme in your head. Nothing has changed since this evaluation a while back. The RSS remains a steadfastly clueless and rabidly anti-intellectual ensemble of bumbling incompetents.
There are, to be sure, some elements within the Sangh parivar who do understand what Jihad is about, but the RSS is not them.

The deep rooted hatred of hindus against muslims has so many examples that it will take me a while to stop once i start.
It took americans a while to realize that 9/11 could only be an inside job, but given your mentality and IQ it probably would take you alot longer to comprehend.
Your govt looks at common people like you as a bait to fulfill their heinous agenda and yupp they are for now doing a good job. Your queries and arguments prove why they are succeeding.
As for the Rakhi, i dont care whether hindus wear it or not, what i’m concerned is atleast Muslims dont.
Hindus have a habit of being turn coats.
Like living in melbourne here, i often come across indians eating meat and pork, saying our parents didnt allow that back home where we only used to eat vegetables.
They also say its a relief not to be asked anymore by our parents to drink and bath in cow and monkey urine.
So i can completely empathize with your condition.
I do not expect you to slightly heed to any of the logic being given because inspite of being a country who could potentially have been better than China, all you cry and whine about is why Pakistan is still there. That shows an abundance of inferiority complex and religious background. We Pakistanis have never shown that biased approach. If you could remember, even when we lost the Indo-Pak cricket series back in 2003-04 all indians visiting lahore and karachi were treated like guests. There were no bad incidents while when we won next year the whole crowds would go silent, throw stones on the grounds, just wont admit that you can be sore losers…just like your so called huge navy couldnt track a damn trailer sailing towards Mumbai to carry out what they did.
Can you imagine a country whose 231 districts out of 650 have resistance movements going on against the indian state. All this economic bubble that u think is there will burst once the americans force you to get ur ass out of Kashmir. Imagine holding onto a peiece of land, whose people are since decades saying get the hell out of where.
As for you being the so called 21st century biggest democracy, i’ll say i havent heard better jokes than this. A country where even the hindus have cast systems. WEhere in this day of tech and science, you have the concept of “untouchables” in your society, is this democracy??? This new year eve on the famous flinders street station Melbourne, there was an indian concert where indian women in revealing attires danced, much to the delight of drunk aussies who ofcourse need such easy physical outlets. WE are believers, and we believe on the wisdom of our religion that against all puppy feeding you get from ur western friends, pakistan will surive and flourish inshALLAH.
Make no mistake about it, We know who we are and why our elders sacrifised their present to save our Future.
