Hmmmm. A single financial scandal...and the FBI has to pull agents away from terror investigations?
Makes one wonder how effectively their counter-espionage efforts against the Chinese are going. Couldn't be understaffed, now could they?
Meanwhile, the greater the influx of Muslim immigrants, the larger the pool of potential terror recruits. The larger the pool of recruits, the larger the number of terror cells just waiting to strike. The larger the number of terror larger cells, the larger the manpower needs of federal law enforcement...

Who could possibly object to doubling the size of the FBI? What false economies are made, what hideous squanderings ignored.

The horror is in the detail. He bankrupted a smaller charity (Chais Family Foundation). It is a superb educational and charitable organization. They will have to close their marvelous camp for children with cancer. This camp was so successful and loved that it was recently expanded to year round help and networking for families of children with cancer. Also, their meals for the elderly program, Israeli educational programs and much more.Gone. This is just one small casuality of this ONE MAN'S evil. By the way, if its any satisfaction he was ultra-liberal and very involved with lefty-trendy causes.

Well, if I were the mother of his son's I would be so VERY DAMN PROUD they turned him in. SHE obviously did the job right.
But see how his community and family revile him? Not the case with the Fort Dix terrorists, they are in de-nile with veils covering their eyes. I pray for introspection for the muslim community every day but it just NEVER comes...

No-one in the Jewish community either in the diaspora or in Israel is at all interested in defending this creature. They are 1. ashamed of him and 2. furiously angry with him. There is no doubt that they regard his evil activities as...well...EVIL. Morally wrong no matter who he did it to (he seems to have done it to everyone).
So Madoff's own sons turned him in? Did I get that right?
Can we even begin to imagine the Muslim relatives of a Muslim jihad plotter, within the west, or of a Muslim welfare defrauder, or rapist, turning their son/father/brother/cousin/uncle in to the forces of the Law? I've read hundreds, maybe thousands of news stories in the archives at jihadwatch, but I don't think there's been even one such case.
Have we *ever* seen Muslim friends and family (and wider 'faith community') of Muslims who are caught by kafir doing (or plotting to do) Bad Stuff to kafir, unequivocally condemning what their family member or co-religionist did or planned to do, and naming it as evil, and facing up to facts?

He told his family about it on the Tuesday night. Sons went to the FBI on Wednesday, he was arrested on Thursday morning. Maybe I'm cynical, but that's enough time for the sons to cut a deal.
No way he did this alone.

I'm afraid we have much more vital projects such as building the zillion dollar embassy in Iraq where they will barely tolerate us in the new agreement(after sacrificing thousands of American lives and trillions of dollars) to kiss their Muslim butts.

I'm disgusted!!!
I and many fellow investors have lost fortunes over the past year and no one seems to really give a damn. Of course we are all little people.
The clientele of this Madoff crook were the rich and famous, the glitterati, the glitchy charitable institutions....of course their loss is a tragedy and we must do something to recover their money.
Well, my feeling is screw them. 'You puts your money down and you takes your chances".
