On call for the mujahedin?
Here's a new variation on the Courtroom Jihad. But maybe the time when he really needed the exorcist was when he was planning his jihad plot. "Terror suspect asks judge for exorcist." by Moni Basu and Bill Rankin for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, January 6 (thanks to James):
Relatives of terrorism suspect Ehsanul Islam Sadequee accused federal authorities Monday of using mind-control tactics intended to induce a guilty plea.Sadequee’s family leveled the accusations after a court hearing in which Sadequee pleaded not guilty to a recently returned, amended federal indictment.
Sadequee and former Georgia Tech student Syed Haris Ahmed are being held without bond on charges they conspired to provide material support to terrorists.
At Monday’s hearing, Sadequee asked U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerrylin Brill for an “exorcist” to free the “demons” placed in his head by authorities.
Brill denied the request.
Appearing in prison garb, canvas slip-ons, a long beard and an off-white knit cap, Sadequee took the unusual step of speaking for himself in court.
He told Brill that he had been subjected to psychological abuse at the federal penitentiary where he is being held. He accused Ahmed, who also has pleaded not guilty, of being a confidential informant....
Both men are accused of trying, in 2005, to join Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Pakistan-based militant group India blames for the recent terrorist rampage in Mumbai that killed 164 people. They also are accused of taking videos of “symbolic and infrastructure targets for potential terrorist attacks” in Washington during a trip there in 2005....

Actually, an exorcist would be a very good idea: but not for the reason he thinks.
There *are* genuine exorcists - not at all like the Hollywood variety - I would say, in fact, that Mr Spencer and Fr Zakaria Botros and Ali Sina are the real thing. (Read M Scott Peck's description of the two exorcisms he personally witnessed, in 'People of the Lie', the chapter entitled 'Of Possession and Exorcism', and you'll know why I say that).
The government should take this chap at his word...and send in Fr Zakaria.
"You wanted an exorcist, mate? - you got one".

"Sadequee and former Georgia Tech student Syed Haris Ahmed..."
-- from the article above
Judging by Sadequee's performance in the courtroom, he's the one who appears to be a Rambling Wreck from Georgia Tech.

This is what happens when jihadis watch way too much television.

I say the court should test to see if his neck will twist 360 degrees before calling in an exorcist.

The lunatic is in his head...
You would think praying to Allah five times a day would put up some kind of internal shield against demon possession.
Demon possession is rare among Mohammadans for one main reason...They are already possessed by Allah, and the shade of Mohammad.
From article: At Monday’s hearing, Sadequee asked U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerrylin Brill for an “exorcist” to free the “demons” placed in his head by authorities.
If it's possible at all to 'place' a demon in anthers head, only a very skilled practitioner could do it. I doubt any magickal adept of that skill level would lower himself to do that kind of work...
In order to do this, the adept must first accept the idea that demons exist...Then it must be known how to contact, control and direct, all the time protecting yourself from the demon, who most likely resents your intrusions, and will attack you unless you know how to protect yourself.
All this takes considerable knowledge and ability.
Not only that but it is dangerous business...
Not for the weak kneed...
At any rate...a charge like that is impossible to prove...

Indeed? I find it more likely that his home country's government brainwashed him. It is surely no coincidence that of the 57 Islamic countries in the world, not one ranks in the top 65 as far as having functional, democratic governments is concerned.
Why do not the wannabe dhimmis want to see this? Islam is incompatible with democracy - it is incompatible with the Western way of life. Whilst a nation need not be Western to be democratic, Islamic nations are never functioning democracies.

PS - the link is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index#November_2008_ranking
Having manually scanned the ranks, not one Islamic-majority country is in the top 65. The highest-ranked is Malaysia, at position 68.

Yeah these Mohammedans believe that the devil sleeps in their noses at night and that if you fall asleep during prayer the devil will pee in their ears! BWHahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! OH man I get the best laughs at JW/DW. These Mohammedans are equally violent, hateful and at times incredibly stupid.
However, their plots and ways of creating great damage and violent acts of terrorism is incredible to say the least. Moreover, their lies and deception of defending Islam is a great talent as well.

Could the defendent be conceding that his actions were predicated upon evil and, that he is so predisposed beyond the law of man and God?
If so case closed.

Everybody knows that jinns collude with the CIA, the Mossad, and the Hindu Crusader Zionists, people. The question is, do they work for the KGB?
He's telling the truth, at least the part about being possessed by evil.
I honestly hope that the CIA does have mind-control tactics, ones which are at least as effective as those of Islam. Barring that, I hope they go all Detective Stabler on him every day.

Give this clown a tin foil hat and prayer rug. That should do the trick.

OK, maybe the gummint did use mind-control on him, but I think it"s more likely that:
[1] one of our saboteur-squirrels got to him, OR
[2] he overdid it with the head-knocking at Friday prayers, OR
[3] he didn't do a thorough morning nose-snort so that a bit of Satan remained, OR
[4] he entered a toilet-stall wrong foot first, and Allah cursed him. OR
[5] he over-dosed on the camel urine.
Take your choice.

One wonders if they all line their head-scarves with tin foil.

Uhm, this is the federal government we're talking about here. You can't even get federal employees to process paperwork in less than a few years in most cases, yet supposedly somebody slapped a demon in this guy's noodle between the first and second editions of his indictment?
I don't see that kind of expedience happening, even if it COULD be done - competently - by a federal employee ...
;P
