Al-Qaradawi has been praised by establishment dhimmi Islamic scholar John Esposito as a champion of a "reformist interpretation of Islam and its relationship to democracy, pluralism and human rights." He counts among his friends Ken Livingstone, former mayor of London. And he wants to kill Jews in the worst way.

"The Islamic Countries... Received [the Jews] With Open Arms [When They Were Banished From Europe]... [But The Jews] Turned Their Backs On [Us], And We Have Become Their Victims"
Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi: "I address my first message to the aggressor Jews, those arrogant plunderers, who act arrogantly toward the servants of Allah in the land of Allah.

"In the past, the Jews spread corruption in the land twice, and Allah punished them both times, by setting as masters upon them people who tormented them, humiliated them, and made them bow their heads.
According to Qur'an 5:33, the penalty for spreading "corruption in the land" is crucifixion or the amputation of a hand and a foot on opposite sides.
This is what they did in history, and it is well known that Allah set as master upon them the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, who took them into captivity. He destroyed their homes, razed their temples, and burned their Torah, and took them into captivity in Babylon for 70 years. Then they repeated their deeds, so He set the Romans as masters upon them.[...]
"The Jews have lived as dhimmis in our land for a long time, and no Muslim violated the covenant with them. They were free, and were among the richest people of the nation. It reached the point that the Muslims envied them. They were close to the sultans, the kings, and the rulers of those times. Despite this, they were not faithful to the [covenant]. When they were banished from Europe, they found no compassionate bosom, no cave to shelter them, except for the lands of Islam. It was the Ottoman Empire, the Mameluke state, and the Islamic countries that received them with open arms, [and] gave them shelter and protection – but when [the Jews] gained influence, they turned their backs on them, and we have become their victims."
The charge of ingratitude is familiar and long-established in Islamic tradition. Note his reference to dhimmitude, which would get him a charge of "Islamophobia" from Muslim spokesmen in the West, even though he says nothing about how it relegates Jews (and other dhimmis) to second-class status.
"We Wait for the Revenge of Allah to Descend Upon Them [i.e. the Jews] – And, Allah Willing, It Will Be By Our Own Hands""This is one of the peculiarities of our times. The nation upon which abasement and humiliation was inflicted, and which drew the wrath of Allah – the people most covetous of life – we have become their victims. The cowards have grown bold in their attitude towards us, the weak and humiliated have grown strong in their dealings with us. The small birds in our land have turned into eagles, and the sheep have turned into wolves that devour us. What has befallen our nation?!
"But Allah lies in wait for them, and He will not forsake this nation. He will not allow these people to continue to spread corruption in the land. We wait for the revenge of Allah to descend upon them, and, Allah willing, it will be by our own hands: 'Fight them, Allah will torment them by your hands, and bring them to disgrace, and will assist you against them, and will heal the hearts of the believers, and you will still the anger of your hearts.' This is my message to the treacherous Jews, who have never adhered to what is right, or been true to their promises, who violate each time the promises them make to you." [...]
Qaradawi there was quoting Qur'an 9:14-15.
"Even though Gaza has no gateway except for Egypt, Israel is surrounded by several Arab states. Lebanon and Syria, Jordon, and Saudi Arabia are all neighbors of Israel, and whoever wanted to set out [on Jihad] from these countries could have done so, if the gateways were opened. But it is as if we have become the protectors of Israel." [...]
"Marks and Spencer... Regularly Dedicates its Saturday Revenue To Israel... Starbucks Is Zionist.... My Brothers, Put the Boycott Against The Nation's Enemies Into Action""Here in Qatar, we have a branch of Marks and Spencer, which regularly dedicates its Saturday revenue to Israel. We have a Starbucks, which serves coffee. They used to hang a sign on the doors of their shops: 'We benefit our most important partner, which is Israel, we help in the education of students in Israel, we help build up the Israeli defense arsenal,' and so on. People go and drink their expensive coffee. Instead of paying 2 riyals for a cup of coffee, they pay 20 riyals. This Starbucks is Zionist. Why do we not teach the nation to make do with its own products, when possible, even if they are of lesser quality? This is the only way the nation will rise. My brothers, put the boycott against the nation's enemies into action. Every riyal you pay turns into a bullet in the heart of your brothers in Gaza and in other Islamic countries." [...]

Oh Allah, You annihilated the people of Thamoud at the hand of a tyrant, and You annihilated the people of 'Aad with a fierce, icy gale. Oh Allah, You annihilated the people Thamoud at the hand of a tyrant, You annihilated the people of 'Aad with a fierce, icy gale, and You destroyed the Pharaoh and his soldiers – oh Allah, take this oppressive, tyrannical band of people. Oh Allah, take this oppressive, Jewish, Zionist band of people. Oh Allah, do not spare a single one of them. Oh Allah, count their numbers, and kill them, down to the very last one."

What makes this a HATE SITE, is the fact that every day, you guys take a few extremists, and make it seem as if ALL MUSLIMS act this way, or believe in this filth.
The old testament(jewish bible) is filled with examples of GENOCIDE and MASS RAPE.
But readers of this site ignore that.
Other articles have comments where readers call ISLAM a cult. As if a handful of extremists like Osama Bin Laden speak for all 1.2 BILLION muslims.

They claim to be Christians, but do not live christ like lives.
Instead they DEHUMANIZE muslims, and by doing so give the green flag to Israel to commit mass war crimes in Gaza.
What you people need to realize, that Gazans are trapped into one of the world's most populous strips of land. No one can get out, and Israel controls what goes in. This has been going on for decades.
That's why they have a problem with Israel. And the extremists like HAMAS use that as an excuse, to indoctrinate fanatics and get them to KILL in the name of God.
When in fact, real muslims know that, anyone who commits suicide in order to kill civilians, is getting a ONE WAY TICKET to hell.

BTW-do you know how many rockets your hamas lobbed off at Israel last year BEFORE Israel retaliated? If they've closed their borders it's for good reason. Why don't they lob rockets off at Egypt too, since Egypt's (such good sunnis) border is closed also and keeps them restricted? And why is it that hamas has plent y of rockets and no bombs? No place or reason to smuggle food in? But plenty of place and reason to smuggle rockets in?
You've already been given the surahs which outline death to infidels and enslavement of dhimmies.

Mr. Qaradawi is the head of the European Council for Fatwa and Research.
He has published fifty books, runs an extremely popular website, and is frequently featured on Al-Jazeera.
People of all faiths and backgrounds put their money where their minds are. Under this criterion, Mr. Qaradawi is far from being an "extremist" Muslim -- unless there are a lot more "extremists" among the Ummah than "moderate" Muslims claim.
When religious preachers in the U.S. go off the rails -- Pat Robertson blathering about how Chavez of Venezuela should be assassinated, for example -- the groundswell of criticism and repudiation is huge. Masses of people joined together to force the U.S. Catholic Church to compensate victims of priest pedophilia. Christians as well as non-Christians stood against the rash of religiously-inspired doctor murders and women's clinic bombings in America.
"Moderate" Muslims remain silent in the faces of hate-preachers like Qaradawi. In fact, now that I think about it, "moderate" Muslims have been out in force all over the world in the last few days, threatening, bullying, and violently attacking others to triumphant cries of "Allahu Akbar." Synagogues and churches have been both attacked and used as staging areas for violence, and a Muslim mob coldly threatened a beautiful medieval cathedral in Italy by staging a mass "prayer" directly in front of its doors.
Perhaps you should speak to these moderate Muslims about rejecting hate, and to the Egyptians about closing their border to their Gazan brothers in the Ummah.

amir, islam is hate, and so reporting what islam does to non muslims and even to those muslims who are not muslim enough is not hate, but to be educated and in time we will defeat islam. you defeat it first with educating and understanding your enemy, and the choice of distruction will be how you accomodate the rest of the world. ie, if hammas stops sending over rockets and live peacefully among your neighbours, Israel will react the same. when hammas changes their charter and to not want Israel destroyed and their behaviour to actually live peacfully you will see a difference among Israel towards hammas.

Where did he learn all this vitriol? From his holy book. Allah hates kafirs and says they will go to a fiery hell and be tortured for all eternity. That's the allah mohammed calls the most merciful.

No, amir, that is not true, nor is that what this conflict is all about.
First of all, the Palestinians already have a state, it's called Jordan. And if you check any map, you will see that Jordan is WAY bigger than Israel. At any rate, the Arabs did not want the Jews to have any land back in 1948 and beyond, so they are the land whores, not the Jews. You really need to study factual records more closely.

Learned a new word today that would seem to fit this guy to a tee: TERMAGANT (from “Chanson de Roland” ca 1100 CE); a violent, turbulent, overbearing person in long, flowing Eastern robes.
This sounds like it could be used in many different ways, such as "Al-Qaradawi, the well known Muslim termagant who frequently appears on Egyptian television..." Of course, this also applies to most of Al-Qaradawi's cohorts, so one could equally well say "Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the Muslim termagant who is the number two figure in al-Qaida..."
Modern usage of the word has changed from the original, and now usually implies a scolding, nagging, bad-tempered woman. But this would seem to apply equally well to these guys.

The standard practice on the site is to present some verifiable facts (or what we imagine to be such) and then some inferences or conclusions from those. That is, when we are not just letting off steam.
It might be an interesting exercise to take a couple of troll postings and dissect them for slogans, slogan-like wording/phrasing and sloganistic thinking.

Unbelieveable audacity of this Amir fellow. Denies he is a Muslim and then basically admits to being one in the next sentence. Typical Islamic logic.
Words for the wise. Any Mohammedan who doesn't have the stones to openly admit he is one is NOT worth debating anything with.

thank you very much for providing those links to the Orwell essays.
I will keep and reread them and attempt to remember his advice.
G K Chesterton gave some similar advice, once, in his book 'Orthodoxy'.
"Most of the machinery of modern language is labour-saving machinery; and it saves mental labour very much more than it ought.
"Scientific phrases are used like scientific wheels and piston-rods to make swifter and smoother yet the path of the comfortable.
"Long words go rattling by us like long railway trains.
"We know they are carrying thousands who are too tired or too indolent to walk and think for themselves.
"It is a good exercise to try for once in a way to express any opinion one holds in words of one syllable.
"If you say "The social utility of the indeterminate sentence is recognized by all criminologists as a part of our sociological evolution towards a more humane and scientific view of punishment," you can go on talking like that for hours with hardly a movement of the gray matter inside your skull.
"But if you begin "I wish Jones to go to gaol and Brown to say when Jones shall come out," you will discover, with a thrill of horror, that you are obliged to think.
"The long words are not the hard words, it is the short words that are hard"
