The Sun reported in 2010 how Muslims took over the British underworld: "'Religion is important to us only as a way of defining who we can trust and who we can work with.' Amir adds: 'Young Muslim gangs aren't worried about what Allah makes of their criminal ways — they don't believe in it to that extent. Through religion we speak the same language, live in the same areas, go to the same schools and can even use mosques as a safe place away from the police or other gangs. If you f*** with a Muslim gang you'd better be able to run fast or hide well, because they will come back at you in numbers.'"

Copenhagen Municipality estimates that the immigrants gangs -- which are in fact Muslim gangs -- get 700 new members every year (in Copenhagen alone).

A police officer told me that the reason that they prefer to crack down on rockers such as Hells Angels is that the rockers actually behave relatively calmly when they get visits from the police. Visiting the "dungeons of the immigrant gangs is like visiting a monkey cage. They crawl on the walls, try to escape and have absolutely no respect for the police."

Translated from The Short Newspaper, February 9: "Still more crackdowns on gangs". Black Cobra and Bloodz are both Muslim gangs; Nørrebro (espcially Inner Nørrebro) is famous for being seriously contaminated by Sharia and Muslim gangs:

Wednesday morning the police launched a major, coordinated crackdown on gangs in Copenhagen and Zealand. Over 1,000 officers participated in the raid that included searches and arrests, from Albertslund and Hundige to Køge, Roskilde and Hillerød.

They conducted raids in residential units and buildings that house members or sympathizers of the organized gangs. This was preceded by months of investigation.

The gangs have increased in the recent years. There is a recruitment of new members. Gangs like 'Black Cobra' and 'Bloodz' are engaged in a coordinated mobilization and they have special places for hiding weapons . ...

The gangs have also become more geographically widespread. They have moved south from Copenhagen to the rest of Zealand, from Inner Nørrebro, to the suburbs Ishøj, Greve, Greve, and on to Køge.

Muhammed hated dogs (and people who didn't believe in him and his god), and so do Muslims. A Muslim politician in The Hague is now working to forbid dogs in the city, thereby forcing all citizens to abide by the Sharia laws concerning dogs. In the UK it is apparently happens regularly that Muslim taxi drivers reject blind costumers if they bring their guide dog. There are apparently 'several examples' of dogs being kidnapped in the Muslim ghetto Gellerup Park. Then they kill them outright or tie them to something and leave them in the freezing cold to die. Translated from the Danish in BT, February 5: "Freezing kidnapped Shepherd back in good shape":

The 14-month-old Shepherd Aico, who yesterday was abducted from a dog hook in front of a 7-Eleven store in Aarhus, has been found. It was a 13-year-old boy named Khaled who found Aico whimpering and freezing in an upturn in Gellerup Park west of Aarhus, says the dog's owner, Michael Green.

"Residents in the hallway heard the dog whimpering all night, and fortunately a boy who took action," he said.

"That was actually what we had feared -- that someone had kidnapped the dog to Gellerup, this happens sometimes Aarhus. I'm just incredibly happy that he is back and doing well, although he has frozen much overnight," Green says.

Aico was abducted while Michael Green was in a 7-Eleven for a few minutes. When he came out, somebody had run away with the big puppy.

I have reported about the Muslim ghetto Vollsmose several times: Denmark: No comprehensive car insurance in Muslim area -- too many burned cars; Denmark: More Muslim violence against non-Muslims; Danish police: Immigrant criminals target Danes to make them move out of the (Muslim) area; and Denmark: Iranian-born leader of small Christian church attacked for displaying cross.

The Danish newspaper BT has scrutinized the budget for integration in Vollsmose. Since 2008, 58,482,279 kr. (10.3 million USD / 7,9 million Euros) has been spent on the following. Translated from BT, February 5, 2012: "Vollsmose gilded with millions of kroner. - But the problems continue...":

Free buses and concerts - 2,844,402 kr. (500,000 USD) An extra pool of money was created to support new ideas. The funds has been spent on free bus service in the area, job counseling, a choir, celebrations and concerts.

Coaching - 280,250 kr (50,000 USD)
The so-called ABCD project seeks to get residents to become aware of their own qualifications, a kind of coaching.

Consultants - 6,040,692 kr (1,000,000 USD)
Three resident advisers, including former parliamentary politician Asmaa Abdol Hamid (who says that the Quran guides her in every aspect of life and who rejects equality between the sexes), have been hired to keep track of the many projects that are started in the district.

Project management - 1,213,758 kr (210,000 USD)
There are so many associations and networks in Vollsmose that a global network is needed to keep track of them.

Improved image - 11,421,411 kr (2,000,000 USD)
Establishment of Media House Vollsmose that publishes its own weekly newspaper in order to create a more positive image of Vollsmose. The articles is concentrating on positive stories from the area, says the Media House.

Multicultural offer - 3,339,673 kr (585,000 USD)
In 2007 it was estimated that young people with multicultural background lacked cultural offerings. This is why a cultural center has been created in the area.

Marketing - 4,385,000 kr (770,000 USD)
A marketing project has been launched to attract educational institutions and businesses to the district.

Special expenses - 9,596,542 kr (1,700,000 USD)
This money goes to the operation of the area's nine housing associations and three housing organizations. The money goes to short courses, machine procurement, combating vandalism and longer opening hours at recycling centers.

Administration - 3,821,641 kr (670,000 USD)
Launching the many projects costs money in itself. This is because a consultant company was hired to do it, and because it costs money to track how the money is spent.

Cleanup - 2,500,000 kr (440,000 USD)
Money to the Project Youth Team primarily goes to paying the young people who are hired to remove garbage and waste lying around in the district.

Environmental awareness - 1,415,866 kr (250,000 USD)
This project aims to educate residents to understand how to handle waste, how to save water, heat and electricity. 35 immigrant women have received this education.

As part of the master plan, just over half a million kroner has been allocated to evaluate the results.

Total bill: 58,482,279 kr. (10,280,979.78 USD)

On January 29, 2012, Denmark got a new newspaper: The Short Newspaper. It was created partly as a reaction to the large amount of political correctness in the mainstream media. It is published by journalist Ralf Pittelkow and his wife Karen Jespersen, a member of parliament for a conservative party and former Minister. Together they have also published several Islam-critical books: "The power of Islam" and "Islamists and Naivists" being the latest. The Short Newspaper is only published on the internet, but has already attracted a surprisingly large amount attention. Dozens of influential and well-known writers from the Conservative establishment are contributing to the newspaper -- many of them for free. Let us hope that this great idea will spread to other countries.

Islamic schools mushroom because Muslim parents do not want their children to be exposed to non-Islamic values, and because they in general want to avoid integration into our societies. Muslim schools, Muslim nursing homes, Muslim graveyards -- and being separated from having Danish colleagues, either because of unemployment or from working alone as taxi drivers or at Muslim-only workplaces (such as pizzerias) -- makes it possible to remain almost untouched by Danish culture and non-Muslims from cradle to grave.

Translated from The Short Newspaper, January 31st 2012: "Muslims leave state schools":

More and more parents with an immigrant background are moving their children from state schools to private schools. The trend is particularly strong among Muslims, and the influx into Muslim private schools have increased sharply. In just three years, there has been an increase of 25 percent of Muslim private schools, and the number of pupils in such schools is now at nearly 4,000.

This contributes to parallel societies. Muslim children do not get together with other children at school, which is a very important contribution to integration. They come to live in their own world, which creates rifts between them and the Danish society and its values.

Let us see if the Norwegians will blame these Muslims' manual for terror as much as they blamed anti-jihadists for Breivik's murders. Translated from Jyllands-Posten, January 30: "Seven years in prison for terror plans against Jyllands-Posten":

The case has been called historical in Norway, because it is the first time that someone has been convicted for planning terror.

The Chinese Uighur and Norwegian citizen Mikael Davud was the main man behind the terror plans against Jyllands-Posten's premises at the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen. So he got a sentence of seven years in prison.

"The Court finds no doubt that Davud took the initiative and that he also was the main man. He was himself responsible for the implementation of the terrorist attack," said Judge Oddmund Black Berg.

It was ruled that the preparations were characterized by professionalism, but that the attack was not imminent. It appeared that there would only have been a small bomb, which probably would not cost lives. The defenders demanded acquittal. ...

According to the indictment, Mikael Davud was acting on behalf of Al Qaida. He admitted in court that he received bomb training from a terrorist group in Iran. The prosecutor argued that Davud instead traveled across the border into Pakistan, where he trained with Al Qaeda. Mikael Davud acknowledged that he had contacts with Al Qaida, but not that he was on a mission for the terrorist network. He acted on his own, he said. ...

The Iraqi Kurd Shawan Sadek Saeed Bujak has argued that the goal was Jyllands-Posten and Kurt Westergaard, a goal that both he and Davud allegedly agreed on. And this was the charge that the court found was proven.

I recently posted a couple of articles about the Muslim area Vollsmose in Odense, Denmark ("Denmark: More Muslim violence against non-Muslims" and "Danish police: Immigrant criminals target Danes to make them move out of the (Muslim) area").

The latest development is that the major Danish insurance company GF-Insurance no longer offers comprehensive insurance on cars in the area. Translated from Fyens Stiftstidende (notice the newspaper's use of "discriminate" in the header), January 30, 2012: "GF-Insurance discriminate against Vollsmose citizens":

GF will no longer insure cars if the owners live in zip code Odense NE. ... Chairman of the GF-Insurance on Funen, Knud Nielsen confirms that the company will no longer offer comprehensive insurance for cars that are located in 5240 NE.

"We have found that there are more burglaries and burned cars in Vollsmose than other places. Therefore we will not insure cars hull in Vollsmose," he says to Fyens Stiftstidende.

Other big insurance companies may well have comprehensive car insurance, even if you live in NE 5240, but the price may vary compared to other areas.

Recently a Danish cop broke the taboo and said what many already know: Immigrant criminals target Danes to make them move out of (Muslim) area. As a follow-up, I will here publish a few statements made by a Christian priest, a Danish police officer and a council chairman that confirm this observation:

Translated from Kristeligt Dagblad, January 12, 2011: Christian priest fleeing harassment in Vollsmose

The Iranian-born leader of the Free Church "Church of Love," Massoud Fouroozandeh has moved out of the Odense district Vollsmose with his family to a small town at a secret location. This happens after the family has had two cars smashed because a Christian cross was hanging inside them.

"I was told by young people in Vollsmose that I should not drive into the area with the cross hanging in the car. Then our car was smashed and burned and the seats cut up. Since then the side windows in our new car was smashed three times," he says.

After the vandalism Fouroozandeh Massoud and his wife dare no longer let their children play on the playground in Vollsmose.

"They do not wear a headscarf, which 99 percent of the other children do, so they attracted too much attention, and it was not safe to send them out to play. So we moved very far away from Vollsmose," he says.

Translated from the official Danish Police magazine Dansk Politi, September 1, 2009: It was only a question of time:

Kim Thyssen was one of the two policemen who were shot at in Vollsmose in August. He has worked in the area for ten years and he is not surprised that there has been shooting at police. ...

"They have an extreme hatred towards authority. Moreover, there is also racism here, and it has become more pronounced in recent years. The Danes have a very difficult time here. Their children can not play in the sandbox, it's Danish cars that are set on fire, it is the Danish population's apartments that are broken into, it is the Danes that are shot at with air rifles, and it is the Danes who are exposed to street robberies."...

"We are often called racists, but that's how they look at everyone who enforce the law," says Kim Thyssen.

Translated from Fyens Stiftstidende, October 8, 2010: Violence against Danes in Vollsmose

According to Ra Ranunkel, Chairman of the Cooperation Council in Vollsmose, the situation in Vollsmose is tense and there is racism against the Danes living in the district. ...

"Ethnic conflict is about to be started," he warns. "It is the Danes who are victims of violent assault and it is the Danes' cars that are torched. It's gangs of mainly Palestinian and Somali background who are behind the attacks."...

According to Ra Ranunkel, it is a hardcore gang of Somalis who target their assaults against Danes. And it is mainly Palestinians who burn the Danes' cars ...

"An ethnic conflict, a racial conflict is breaking out, and it's scary," says Ra Ranunkel.

Muslims' right to rob non-Muslims has been established since their prophet (always "their", not "the") attracted fighters by allowing booty and rape when attacking non-Muslims. An anonymous Danish police officer now says that "immigrant" criminals are targeting non-Muslims because they want them to leave the area. I guess the non-Muslims could avoid such attacks if they paid jizya to the local mosque.

Here is an account of Muhammed's copy cats at work, translated from B.T., January 23rd 2012. Vollsmose is one of the biggest Muslim ghettos in Denmark, located in Odense on the Island of Funen. "Police officer: They want the Danes out of the area. Danes targeted in burglaries in Vollsmose":

If your last name is 'Hansen' or 'Nielsen,' and do you live in the Odense district of Vollsmose, your risk of becoming the victim of a burglary is significantly higher than if you had had a more foreign-sounding surname.

A burglary campaign against ethnic Danes has spread in the troubled district in the recent months.

- There is a kind of racism out there, where we find that more and more Danes are chased out of the area. It happens as a result of a big increase in burglaries. There have been approximately 150 burglaries the last four months. What is striking is that nine out of ten burglaries are now directed against ethnic Danes, a cop at Funen Police headquarters explains. The cop does not want us to publish his name for fear of losing his job. His name is known by the editors. The officer believes that someone is trying to cleanse the area from the remaining Danes.

- Several of the young offenders have directly said that they want Vollsmose for themselves. Last year a Danish family reported several incidents, with the result that the family's apartment was vandalized every week until the family finally gave up and moved out of the area. Additionally, many of these burglaries resemble actual vandalism, which make it look like some kind of revenge.

The officer criticizes the way the authorities are handling the problem. He believes that they are trying to cover up the development simply because it is controversial.

- Everyone knows it ... Why they put a lid on it I do not know, but I guess it is because it is politically controversial. ...

The local police deputy in Vollsmose, Bjarne Puggaard, confirms that there is a dramatic increase in the number of burglaries in the area. He does not want to confirm whether it is especially ethnic Danes who are victims of the many burglaries.

Shortly after the interview with the local police, bt.dk, however, receives a phone call from the Funen chief of police. After a little reflection, the police now suddenly wish to confirm that the burglaries are mainly targeted at Danes. ...

- I have no idea why they look at the name of the mailbox before they commit burglary.

The Danish Left won the elections September 15, 2011. The first 100 days in power, they managed to break 100 promises. Up to now the only ones who have benefited from the Left's victory are immigrants and unemployed.

I met the new Danish Church Minister, Manu Sareen, a couple of years ago in a live debate on national TV. During the debate he criticised me for saying that integration of Muslims is not possible. When the cameras were turned off I asked him if he himself really thought that integration of Muslims was possible. He answered, "Sometimes I think yes. Sometimes I must admit that I lose hope."

Sareen does what he can to stay popular within certain circles: "SF wants to rename the Church Ministry," translated from jp.dk:

The Church Ministry should be renamed in order to accommodate the growing population of Muslims in Denmark. This is the wish of the left wing of the Parliamentary Church Committee, said TV2 News.

Instead, Church Ministry should be renamed to Ministry of Philosophy of Life.

- People have all kinds of faiths and philosophies of life, and we must accommodate, says SF Vigsø Pernille Bagge.

One version of homegrown terrorism: when Muslim immigrants and their children and grandchildren send their salaries, social benefits, black market money and money earned from robberies, thefts and handling stolen goods to Muhammad's copycats. This is a case in which being an economic refugee and supporting terrorism are the same. "Terrorist groups get millions from Denmark," translated from Danish National Radio, January 17:

Training camps for terrorists, weapons and other aspects of the planning of terrorist activities cost money. Therefore, terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab are happy to receive money from generous donors worldwide. ... PET (the Danish secret police) estimates that about 20 million kroner are collected annually in Denmark to finance terrorist groups abroad. ... PET estimates that the groups that enjoy the millions of Danish terror kroners include groups in conflict zones such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine and Somalia. That is to say that organizations such as al-Qaeda, Taliban, al-Shabaab, Hamas and Hezbollah may be among those benefiting from the money that is collected in Denmark.

Nadia.jpg

Recently, The Telegraph disclosed what many already know, namely that "thousands of honour attacks" happen every year in the UK.

Also, CBN reported recently about "Islamic 'Honor Violence' Rising in the West."

But in many cases there is no attack, just pressure and threats. Not many killings, forced suicides, beatings, kidnappings, rapes etc. are needed to make the rest bow to threats. Nadia is a brave exception: "Threatened with beatings for not wearing Islamic scarf," translated from the Danish in B.T.:

Nadia has repeatedly received threats after she stopped wearing the Islamic veil and began to resemble and behave like a Danish girl.

- I have received threats of beatings because of my piercing, because I go to discotheques and because I took off the veil, Nadia explains.

- For example, once I was at a party. Some young Arabs came and threatened me with beatings. Luckily a friend of mine said, 'You can just try!,' and at the same moment a police car drove by, so nothing happened, Nadia says ...

Nadia was abducted by her father to Lebanon when she was eleven years old. There she lived with a distant part of her family, got married and had a child with the man.

About a year ago, Nadia came back to Denmark with her husband, from whom she is now divorced.

See? The Russians are right: the Bhagavad Gita does inspire violence. "Muslims attack Hare Krishna temple in Denmark," from Europe News and Uriasposten, December 15 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

The Hare Krishna temple in Western Copenhagen was recently assaulted by a group of young Muslims, throwing stones and breaking windows. To diminish the risk of confrontations with the Muslim-dominated neighbourhood, the devotees of the temple are from now on requested to not wear their characteristic clothes outside the temple, in order to not provoke similar attacks in the future. Below is the original account of the attacks.

Danish police took a report of the assaults.

(Note: Whitespace added for clarity. Original spelling preserved.)

Dear devotees,

On 6.12.,20.45 the temple in Copenhagen was attacked by a group of gundas with obviously Muslim background. First stones were thrown against the front of the residential temple building, then the window in the mathaji asrama got broken.[TK], the temple president, called police instantly. A single police officer arived, took notice of the dammage and left again. Half an hour later a bigger group of the same attackers arived, again throwing stones, entering the garden, braking this time windows in the Tulasi room, all the bottom windows facing the street. Finaly they tried to brake into the house, seeking direct physical conflict.

It didnt took long to find out the possible background of this attack.

(The temple was never exposed to such an incident before).

The same day two devotees, one of them living directly in the temple and the other outside, were biking closeby when they met on the street a car standing with open door. One passed, the other got blocked by the open door and complained. According to the statement of one of them he was directly attacked by the driver with a tool fetched from the car and as the other one came to his rescue, a fist fight started. Devotees sustained minor injuries. Finaly police arived at the scene and took record of the incident.

As the temple is located in a close Muslim neighbourhood, featuring a Muslim school, etc., it is quite possible that these two incidents are related. The police didnt make sofar this connection, but its obvious.

As matter of fact the involvement of the police was minimal sofar, it took them more a half an hour to arive and after the second attack they didnt come at all. If the attackers would manage to brake into the house, somebody could have been kiled as they were armed with baseball clubs and other weapons. As seeing from the window, most of them could have been even less as 18 years old and some of them couldnt even speak proper denish.

It can be only hoped that this incident was an act of momentarily rage and will not spark a long term enmity and chain of attacks from the local Muslim community. To find the leader of the gang and try to communicate with him is hardly possible. We cannot expect any protection from the police and so once again we are fully depending on the mercy of Sri Sri Goura Nitai and Lord Nrsimhadeva.

Your servant [MD]

P.S. Please, if possible, lets help [TKP] as he will have to deal now with further police investigation, the insurance company and the repairs following this attack.

Further on devotees are requested to change possibly their devotee dress after leaving the temple property, as being seen in the vaisnava dress they may provoke in an uncontroled manner attacks from the local Muslims while walkig on the street. Incidents of this nature do happen. Even this one is based on individual improper behaviour of both parties, the driver and the devotees, the final attack was issued against anybody who could be identified as the memmber of the Hare Krsna movement. Lets hope these attacks will not escalate. Sofar nobody got injured, but it was a close call indeed.

The Danish Peoples' Party has released the video "I am Denmark" (in English). The DPP is the third largest party in Denmark and is known for its work against Muslim immigration and Islamization. I hope that more parties in more countries will show the voters that it is not embarrassing to be proud of one's country and values.

Transcript from the video:

I am Denmark. My core values are freedom of speech, democracy and tolerance. ... I am Denmark. But. I am a country that will challenge cultures that want to change what I have been fighting for. I will not back down in the face of violence and terror. I will not be forced to accept medieval traditions. I am a country that has the courage to say STOP. I am a country that will stand guard to protect my own culture. Because I am Denmark.

Cousin marriages has negative impact on intelligence, sanity, health and society. In Pakistan, 70 percent of all marriages are between first cousins (so-called "consanguinity") and in Turkey the amount is between 25-30 percent. Across the Arab world today an average of 45 percent (in some parts up to 70 percent) of married couples are related.

This phenomenon is allowed for by Islam's marriage law, which is delineated in Qur'an 4:23-34, making this something for which Sharia opens the door.

The lowered intelligence, psychiatric diseases and low status that result from handicaps that afflict many Muslim children as a result of inbreeding may increase the chances of luring people into becoming suicide bombers.

Latest news from Denmark: "Cousin-cousin marriages fill special schools":

Immigrant children constitute a majority in schools for mentally handicapped and retarded children. The risk of mental and physical disabilities increases significantly when cousins marry each other. Cousin-marriages are highly prevalent in immigrant communities and this is reflected in the number of immigrant children in schools for the mentally retarded. New figures from Copenhagen shows that special schools for children who are born with disabilities or mental retardation, in several cases have a clear majority of immigrant children. At Engskolen, Fensmark School and Frederiksgårs School, which are schools for mentally handicapped and mentally retarded children easier, six out of ten children are bilingual.

Wonderful Copenhagen: Wonderfulness may vary. "Islamists seek to introduce ‘Sharia zones," from the Copenhagen Post, October 21:

A fundamentalist Islamic group wants to set up zones in Copenhagen where Islamic Sharia Law should be upheld.
The group, ‘The Call to Islam’, belongs to a branch of Islam called Salafism, whose followers in the UK attempted to introduce similar Sharia zones in London earlier this summer.
According to Jyllands-Posten newspaper, the group is led by the imam Abu Ahmed, who has taught several people subsequently linked to terrorist activities.
The Call to Islam intends to start patrolling the Copenhagen neighbourhood of Tingbjerg before extending into Nørrebro and eventually the whole of Denmark. Muslims found to be drinking and gambling would be reprimanded for breaking Islamic code.
The Muslimernes Fællesråd, an umbrella organisation representing over 40,000 Muslims from several organisations, has denounced the plans.
“We should definitely take them seriously and enter into dialogue with them,” spokesperson Mustafa Gezen told Jyllands-Posten. “We should not ignore their extreme inclinations in our society. The problem is that many young people are susceptible to these beliefs. We need to start at the primary school level, to stress the importance of democracy.”

The denunciation is most welcome, but the recommendations can be all too easily ignored by those who are determined to go ahead with their plans. This initiative for the enforcement of a parallel, supremacist, totalitarian legal system must be stopped in its tracks, lest rewarding it with inaction encourages its spread.

The deputy mayor for integration, Anna Mee Allerslev, told Jyllands-Posten Tueday that she was previously aware of the group and their plans.
“A while ago I asked our employees to head out and intensify their work to engage with them,” she said. “But it’s important that we don’t talk it up too much because they are only a small group in Tingbjerg. But it’s important that we pay attention to the problem.”
Allerslev added that she had called a meeting with Islamic group Islamisk Trossamfund and the Muslimernes Fællesråd to discuss how to prevent the radicalisation of Islamic youth. She also stated that the City Council was in contact with the authorities in London who have many years’ experience dealing with similar groups.
According to the City Council, there are nine Salafists patrolling Tingbjerg. The group has a core support of about 50 individuals in Copenhagen who are joined by several hundred additional supporters at study meetings.

A society that accepts death as retribution for cartoons is morally, intellectually and ultimately materially impoverished. That is what is at stake in upholding freedom of speech against violent intimidation. An update on this story. "Norway charges three in terror plot over cartoons," from BBC News, September 27:

Prosecutors in Norway have charged three men with conspiracy to commit terrorism in connection with the 2005 Prophet Muhammad cartoon controversy.
The three are accused of planning to attack Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard and the newspaper Jyllands-Posten, which published his cartoons.
The men - of Iraqi Kurdish, Chinese Uighur and Uzbek origin - were arrested in Norway and Germany in 2010.
They had allegedly acquired bomb components and tried to buy a gun.
The three are expected to be tried next month.
They were named as Mikael Davud, a Norwegian of Uighur origin, Shawan Sadek Saeed Bujak, an Iraqi Kurd residing in Norway, and David Jakobsen, an Uzbek also living in Norway.

The Islamic Eid ul-Fitr celebrations mark the end of the Muslim fasting for the month of Ramadan. The socialist mayor of Copenhagen has decided to sponsor this religious event and re-brand it as a party for everybody. We are all invited:

"Come to Eid party in Copenhagen on September 1st," Københavns Kommune, August 25:

Copenhagen Municipality and the WorldCultureCentre transform Eid from a Muslim event into a huge Copenhagen-party for the third time.

The mayor's office informs us that:

Eid-ud-fitr, normally just called Eid, marks the ending of the Ramadan. Eid is a yearly event for a great many people living in Copenhagen, and is celebrated by almost all Muslims, practising or not. It is not so different from the Christian Christmas. Food is in focus, but first of all we are all meeting to party and support human values.

After all, Eid and Christmas are the same, right? Because Jesus and Muhammed are just sooo much alike...

I had this letter published in a Danish newspaper today, and thought Jihad Watch readers would like to see it also:

Radical right?

Nicolai Sennels has written dozens of articles about Islam, Muslim culture and immigration over the last couple of years. In Denmark he managed to have 450 letters (and more are coming) published in the print editions of newspapers during the same period. Living in Scandinavia and publicly criticizing the people condemning Anders Breivik takes some courage.

Radical right?
Published in the North Jutland Times
By Nicolai Sennels, parliamentary candidate (Danish Peoples' Party)

The Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik has been called a radical right-winger, because he is against Islam. But it is not radical right to be against such religious principles. Free speech, the equality of women and secularism are actually classical liberal virtues. Breivik claims that he was inspired by Islam-critical blogs and liberal immigration policies. While the latter may be true, the first is false. He was inspired by his own sick interpretation of these blogs, just as another mass murderer, Charles Manson, felt inspired by The Beatles' song "Helter Skelter." Breivik has misunderstood the Islam-critical blogs just as much as democratic Muslims misunderstand Islam.

A Muslim guy brings honor to his culture by freaking out on a old lady on the s-train in Copenhagen: "Fuck you, you dog. Fat cow." The Muslim guy talks about his rights and says that the other people on the train are discriminating against him, even as he acts in an intimidating manner. Ever heard of that phenomenon happening before?

I am currently working as a school psychologist, and below I will try to decipher the latest school report on immigrant students in Denmark. In Denmark, we use "bilingual" as a word for immigrant student -- and according to the report, by far most of these students are Turks, Pakistanis, Arabs and Serbs/Croatians. While Serbs and Croatians perform normally, the Muslim students perform very poorly. Below the chart are some of the salient facts.

PISA Ethnic, reading score compared w Danish.jpg

The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) is an OECD programme that assesses the intellectual capacity of 15-year-old students in industrialised countries: "Every three years, it assesses knowledge and skills essential for full participation in society in students near the end of compulsory education." In Denmark, we make an additional analysis of the PISA data called PISA Ethnic (the performance of immigrant students).

The 2005 PISA Ethnic report (page 5) showed that 64 percent of students with an Arab background in Denmark are "functionally illiterate" -- meaning that their reading and writing capabilities are so poor that they will not be able to complete even a simple education. The same specific analysis of Arab immigrants was not made in the 2009 report, but Pisa Ethnic 2009 (published in 2011) (not online, summary here) still contains very interesting information about the foreigners that our politicians and the EU keep telling us will keep our high-tech work market running and pay our pensions.

The report shows that immigrant students are on average two years behind their Danish classmates.

Excerpts from PISA Ethnic 2009:

Close to half of all immigrant students are not able to complete even a simple education. The same goes for one third of their descendents (2nd generation immigrants, born and raised in Denmark):

"PISA operates with a threshold that shows the percentage of students who have the functional reading competence making them able to complete a secondary education. In PISA 2009, 13% of students without an immigrant background are below this limit, while among immigrants, 43 percent and 32 percent for second generation immigrants (descendents from immigrants) are below the threshold."

Danish students score significantly lower in tests if more than 40 percent of their classmates are immigrants (probably partly because of more noise and less respect for teachers -- see below):

"In Denmark, pupils without an immigrant background who attend schools with 40 percent or more bilinguals have significantly lower scores in the PISA reading test compared to students without a migration background attending schools with fewer than 10% bilingual."

In schools with many immigrants, the students feel that the teachers are less caring and fair (are teachers at these specific schools are less friendly -- racism? -- or are immigrant students more prone to complain and exhibit a victim mentality?):

"Fewer students in schools with 40% or more bilingual students respond affirmatively that they get along well with most of their teachers, that their teachers are interested in their wellbeing, and that teachers treat them fairly, compared with students at other schools."

Schoolteachers have too low academic expectations for immigrant students (misguided compassion? Reverse racism?):

"Every fourth student who attends a school with between 40 and 60% bilingual pupils have a school leader who believes that teachers' low expectations of students inhibits student learning. This proportion is significantly larger than the other school types."

Schools with many immigrants have trouble with students destroying the educational atmosphere by being noisy. Teachers are also less respected among the students in schools with many immigrants:

"78% of pupils in schools with between 40 and 60% bilingual pupils in Denmark have a principal who experiences problems with pupils who destroy the learning atmosphere at the school. Students' disrespect for teachers also seems to constitute an impediment to learning in schools with between 40 and 60% immigrants."

Immigrant students' ability to reflect has become even worse (lack of reflection leads to victim mentality and a black-and-white, good-and-bad perception of the world):

"The ability (of immigrant students) to reflect has diminished by eight points."

Here is a video clip from a Danish documentory series about the police. In this short clip, a police officer chases a Toyota north of Copenhagen. When the Toyota drives into a Muslim ghetto, the officer encounters another problem: He cannot get out of his car in an area like this.

New York Times' ridiculous lie: "Immigrant crime not visible in statistics"
by Nicolai Sennels

Denmark has decided to reinstitute national border control. With the euro losing credibility on the world market and the present Danish attack on the freedom of movement within the European Union, the two legs that the EU is standing on are both on their knees. The EU has put Germany in charge of threatening and bullying Denmark to drop its plans. The media is also doing its part to keep the Danes from protecting themselves from illegal immigrants, multiculturalism, weapons, drugs and organised crime. The International Herald Tribune and the New York Times lie through their teeth when they claim that official statistics do not support the claim that immigrants are a cause of rising crime rates:

"Many of her supporters (Pia Kjærsgaard, leader of Danish Peoples Party who introduced the idea of reinstalling border control) are like Rene Schultz, a 42-year-old furniture mover from Ishoj who is wistful for simpler times and blames immigrants for a rise in crime, though official statistics do not support this claim."

This is ridiculous, and so easy to disprove that it is hardly worth the work to do so. Here is a bit of the overwhelming amount of evidence:

Here is the official top-10 from the Danish State's Bureau of Statistics on criminals' national background in Denmark (and yes, it is adjusted for socioeconomic factors -- income and education):

1: Lebanon

2: Yugoslavia

3: Pakistan

4: Morocco

5: Turkey

6: Somalia

7: Iran

8: Iraq

9: Denmark

10: Vietnam

Seven out of ten inmates in Danish youth prisons have an immigrant background, and in the prisons of Copenhagen 45 percent of inmates do not have Danish citizenship. By the way: If you want to know which religion these prisoners adhere to, I suggest you take a close look at the above top-10.

A compromise with the prosecution, who wanted a whopping twelve years for Geele's axe-wielding home invasion. An update on this story. "Denmark stiffens sentence for cartoonist attacker," by Mette Fraende for Reuters, June 22:

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - A Danish appeals court Wednesday lengthened the prison sentence of a Somali man to 10 years from nine for attempting to kill a cartoonist whose 2005 drawing of the Prophet Mohammad provoked Muslim outrage.

Whose prophet?

Muhudiin Mohamed Geele broke into the home of cartoonist Kurt Westergaard with an axe on New Year's Day last year.
The 29-year old was sentenced to nine years imprisonment in February after he was found guilty of attempted terrorism, manslaughter and violence against a police officer.
But prosecutors appealed and asked for a 12-year sentence.
The court called the attack an attempt to frighten the population and destabilize society, and thus an act of terror.

I sentence you to Somalia:

Geele was also sentenced to be expelled and banned from Denmark for life after serving his sentence.
He had pleaded not guilty to the terror and manslaughter charges, but guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon and breaking and entering. He said he had entered the cartoonist's home intending only to frighten him.
Westergaard's drawing of the Prophet with a turban resembling a bomb was one of a dozen cartoons lampooning Islam published in 2005 by the Danish daily Jyllands-Posten, which led to violent protests in 2006.
Most Muslims consider any depiction of the founder of Islam offensive....

So we've heard.

Denmark: Only 14 percent of Muslims identify themselves as democrats
By Nicolai Sennels

The Danish Conservative Party MP Naser Khader, a Muslim and an immigrant from Syria, has received threats from Syrians via Facebook and by telephone. One Muslim threatened to cut Khader into pieces; another said he would trample him to death.

The threats appeared shortly after Khader criticised the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, and also declared that he was considering converting to Christianity. One angry Muslim wrote about Khader on Facebook that "the Muslims in Denmark are very angry at him. He defended and supported the Muhammad drawings. He says that being a Muslim is secondary to being a democrat. He fights Islam and has declared war against Sharia."

It is interesting to know that Naser Khader started the organisation Democratic Muslims in 2006. A survey showed that only 14 percent of Muslims in Denmark could identify with this organisation, seeing themselves as "Muslim, democrats and Danish." (This survey is not online anymore; a copy of the text is here). This percentage is from when the organisation had just started and received immense attention in the media (it only had 1,100 Muslim members, of whom only 505 paid for their membership).

Eurabia Update: "Flera hundra fall av barnäktenskap i Sverige," from Dagen, April 20: "Several hundred cases of child marriages in Sweden," translation by Danish psychologist and author Nicolai Sennels:

Immigrants in Sweden: 200 child marriages yearly; 8,500 fear forced marriages

Muslim immigration has introduced a new perspective on love in Sweden: Child marriages and forced marriages.

A couple of hundred child marriages are registered every year in Sweden. This is the conclusion after analysing data that the government ordered from the central tax office. It concerns persons immigrating to Sweden who apply for marriage and persons with Swedish citizenship who marry foreigners. ... The tax office has registered 74 cases in the first four months of the year in which one or both partners were below 18 years when marrying. In almost all cases it was the women who were minors. Converted to full-year figures, it amounts to more than 200 cases. ... As Dagen (newspaper) has previously reported, the Youth Board's report "Married against her will" concluded that 8,500 young people aged 16-25 years were afraid of being married off against their will.

A doubly failed jihad: Not only did the bomb go off in his hotel bathroom, now he's going to jail. An update on this story. "Chechen-born boxer found guilty of terror for explosion in hotel in Danish capital," by Jan M. Olsen for the Associated Press, May 30 (thanks to Kenneth):

COPENHAGEN - A Chechen-born man was convicted of attempted terrorism Monday for accidentally setting off a letter bomb that investigators believe was intended for a Danish newspaper that caricatured the Prophet Muhammad.

Standard question: Whose prophet?

The Copenhagen City Court said Lors Doukayev, a one-legged amateur boxer, was trying to assemble the bomb when it went off in a hotel bathroom on Sept. 10 last year.

Allahu ak...dang!

Doukayev, a 25-year-old citizen and resident of Belgium, received cuts to his face in the explosion. No one else was injured.
Prosecutors said Doukayev, who pleaded innocent to terrorism, was preparing the bomb to target a Danish newspaper which sparked fiery protests in Muslim countries by printing 12 cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in 2005. They believe his intention was for it to arrive on the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the United States.
The court dismissed Doukayev's claim that he carried the explosives and a gun for personal protection and was trying dismantle the bomb when it went off. He was also found guilty of unlawful weapons possession.
The device was filled with steel pellets and contained triacetone triperoxide, or TATP, which terrorists used in bombs that killed 52 people in London in 2005.
Wearing headphones, Doukayev listened quietly as the verdict was read and translated into French. He then smiled and waved to the interpreter.
Doukayev's defence lawyer, Niels Anker Rasmussen, said he was surprised by the verdict, but had not decided yet whether to appeal. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.
Investigators initially had difficulty determining Doukayev's identity, saying he used three different names in his travel documents, and had even scratched the serial number off his prosthetic right leg.

The lights are going out all over Europe. Meanwhile, in America, Hamas-linked CAIR is undertaking a full-court press and using every lie and smear in its ample arsenal to intimidate every organization, institution, and venue that dares to feature a counter-jihadist. Free people must fight back against this Islamic supremacist assault on the freedom of speech, in both Europe and America.

"Court Finds Man Guilty for 'Racist' Muslim Comments," by Dale Hurd for CBN News, May 4 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

A Danish court has found a leading Islamic expert guilty of racism for his comments about Muslims, the latest ruling in an ongoing battle between free speech and Islam in Europe.

Lars Hedegaard was charged with racism under Denmark's hate speech law after telling someone at a gathering about the problem of rape committed against Muslim girls by male relatives.

"Of course I made clear that I was not talking about every Muslim man in the country or in the world. By the way, I was not talking specifically about conditions in Denmark," Hedegaard explained.

Hedegaard said it's a fact that can be backed up by hard evidence. But in Denmark, that doesn't matter.

Under Denmark's hate speech law, it doesn't matter if what you said was true. It doesn't matter if it is factual - if it offends someone, you could be charged....

Lars Hedegaard issued this statement:

The Struggle Goes On by Lars Hedegaard

Statement by Lars Hedegaard on his conviction for “hate speech”
Copenhagen, May 5, 2011

It is with great sadness I have to report that Denmark’s reputation as a haven of free speech and a bastion of resistance to sharia encroachment is irreparably tarnished. Denmark is my country and I used to be proud of it.

On May 3 the Eastern Superior Court in Copenhagen convicted me of hate speech under Denmark’s infamous Article 266 b of the penal code – a rubber provision that may be stretched to serve any political purpose dear to the hearts of the ruling elites.

My crime is to have called attention to the horrific conditions of Muslim women and for my audacity the court has now enabled my detractors to label me a racist.

Muslims can say whatever they want with impunity. Just a few weeks ago Denmark opened its gates to the hate-spewing preacher Bilal Philips, known for his advocacy of wife-beating and the killing of homosexuals. He was provided a platform in Copenhagen and nobody thought of dragging him into court.

Our authorities and their allies among the pc elites have chosen sides in the struggle between the forces of freedom and the forces of darkness and so opted for the oppressors of their own people and against those deserving of their protection.

The real victims of this despicable case are freedom of speech and the tens of thousands of girls and women – Muslim as well as non-Muslim – whose plight may no longer be mentioned in my country for fear of legal prosecution and public denigration.

We cannot permit this outcome to stand. I have therefore decided to appeal my conviction to the Supreme Court and – if that is denied – to the European Court of Human Rights.

This is a fight for liberty against tyranny. It will be long and hard but losing is no option.

The court also ruled that Mohammed Geele should be expelled from Denmark after serving his sentence. An update on this story. Being sentenced to life in Somalia is easily the harsher part of the punishment. "Somali sentenced to 9 years for axe attack against Danish cartoonist; defence launches appeal," by Jan M. Olsen for the Associated Press, February 4:

COPENHAGEN - A Somali man convicted of terrorism for breaking into the home of a Danish cartoonist who had caricatured the Prophet Muhammad was sentenced Friday to nine years in prison.

Whose prophet?

The Aarhus city court ruled that Muhideen Mohammed Geelle should be expelled from Denmark after serving his sentence.
Defence lawyer Niels Christian Strauss told The Associated Press he had launched an appeal against the conviction and sentence.
The 29-year-old entered cartoonist Kurt Westergaard's home armed with an axe on New Year's Day 2010. Westergaard locked himself inside a panic room and was unharmed. Police arrived and shot Geelle in the leg.
The court on Thursday found Geelle guilty of terrorism.
Strauss said he had appealed as the attack was not an act of terror, as his client had no intention of physically harming Westergaard.
Geelle had testified that he did not want to kill Westergaard, he just wanted to scare him and broke into his home after reading on the Internet that the 75-year-old Dane "was proud of the drawing and wanted to do more."
Westergaard's drawing was one of 12 cartoons of Muhammad published by a Danish newspaper in September 2005, triggering violent protests across the Muslim world four months later.
The prosecution, however, said Geelle had intended to kill Westergaard and that the crime should be viewed as terrorism as it was meant to "seriously frighten the population" and destabilize Denmark. It did not, however, link Geelle to any terror group.
The court also found Geelle guilty of assaulting a police officer, but acquitted him of a charge of attempted murder for throwing the axe at police when they confronted him on arrival at Westergaard's home in Aarhus, northwestern Denmark.
No date has been set for the appeal.

The jury didn't buy Mohamed Geele's claims that "I was irritated and frustrated by his comments. I wanted to frighten him but not to kill him."

Westergaard's account, via the Canadian Press:
"I thought to myself: Now it's happening," Westergaard recalled.
He heard his then 6-year-old granddaughter Stephanie scream from the living room, as the axe-wielding attacker tried to break down the door of the panic room.
"Then the longest minutes of my life started," Westergaard said. "He hammered the axe against the door and I wondered whether the door would resist. Would he leave Stephanie unharmed?"

All for a cartoon. And while the spotlight has been on Westergaard, there is no telling what impact the incident has had on his granddaughter. But prosecutors are only seeking 12 years for Geele. "Jury convicts Danish cartoonist's attacker," from CNN, February 3:

(CNN) -- A 29-year-old Somali man was found guilty Thursday of attacking a Danish political cartoonist known for his drawing of the Muslim prophet Mohammed with a turban shaped as a bomb, authorities said.

"The Muslim prophet Muhammad." It's refreshing not to have to ask "Whose prophet?" for a change.

In a unanimous verdict, Mohamed Geele was found guilty of attempted terrorism, attempted manslaughter and attacking a police officer with a knife and an ax, said Danish Prosecutor Lene Lemt.
Geele was accused of trying to break into the home of cartoonist Kurt Westergaard on January 1, 2010. He was shot in the right leg and left hand by an officer during the incident and hospitalized for his wounds.
At the time, Danish intelligence officials had linked him to an East African Islamist militia allied with al Qaeda.
Prosecutors are seeking 12 years in prison for Geele, who is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday.
Al-Shabaab, the militant organization with alleged ties to Geele, is waging a bloody battle against Somalia's transitional government and is currently on a U.S. government list of terrorist organizations.
At a January 2010 news conference in the Somali capital of Mogadishu, al-Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage said, "We are very happy with the Somali national who attacked the house of the Danish cartoonist who previously insulted our prophet Mohammed. This is an honor for the Somali people. We are telling that we are glad that anyone who insults Islam should be attacked wherever they are."...

Jihad against the freedom of speech. "Danes say men plotted to cut throats," from UPI, January 31 (thanks to Block Ness):

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Accused terrorists planned to cut the throats of reporters at a Danish newspaper that printed Mohammed cartoons, police wiretaps reveal.

The men hoped to kill as many people as possible at Jyllands-Posten within 20 minutes, recordings made by the Danish security service PET and published Monday in the Ekstra Bladet newspaper show.

The three men traveled from Sweden to Denmark Dec. 29 and met near Copenhagen to plot the attack, authorities said.

That's right: Denmark. "Odense: Iranian priest attacked for displaying cross," a translation via Allah.eu from the original article in Danish at Kristeligt Dagblad, January 12 (thanks to OB):

The Iranian-born head of the Church of Love, Massoud Fouroozandeh, fled with his family from the Odense district of Vollsmose to a little a secret location in a small town, after the two of the family's cars were smashed since they had a cross hanging inside.
"I was told by young people in Vollsmose that I shouldn't drive around the area with the cross hanging in the car. Afterward our car was completely smashed up and burned and the seats slashed. Since then the side-windows of our new car were smashed three times," he says.
After the vandalism, Massoud Fouroozandeh and his wife didn't dare let their children play in the playground in Vollsmose.
"They don't go with a headscarf, and 99% of the other children do that, so they attracted a lot of attention, and it wasn't safe to send them out to play. Therefore we moved far away from Vollsmose," he says.
Massoud Fouroozandeh is one of several non-Danish Christians who've been subjected to threats and attacks in Denmark. An Albanian member of the Church of Love was recently beaten by his countrymen, because he went around wearing a cross on his neck, and considered being baptized. And as Kristeligt Dagblad wrote in the past, a Christian Iraqi family go [sic] phone calls for two weeks telling them to convert to Islam. Massoud Fouroozandeh says that religious threats have long been known among converts.
"I don't usually flee from problems. So it's annoying that you need to move. But now it's not just about me, but also about the children. There was too much pressure. I went around the whole time thinking 'what can happen next?'," says Massoud Fouroozandeh.
He continues to be a priest at the Church of Love, where most of the congregants are Afghans and Iranians. Since the church was established in 1997 he baptized about 500 people. Most were Muslims who converted to Christianity.
"Our message is love and reconciliation. Not everybody can understand that, but it absolutely shouldn't change our mission to preach the Christian message," he says.

Thanks a lot, kuffar. "Danish attack plot suspect in previous arrests," by Nina Larson for AFP, December 31 (thanks to David):

STOCKHOLM -- One of five men held over a foiled plot to massacre staff at a Danish newspaper had twice been arrested abroad suspected of terror links, the foreign ministry and media said Friday.

Munir Awad, a 29-year-old Swede born in Lebanon, had publicly thanked the Swedish secret service, Saepo, for obtaining his release from Somalia where he was detained three years ago.

"We know Saepo brought us home and we are very grateful," he told a newspaper at the time.

Swedish foreign ministry spokesman Anders Joerle confirmed the previous arrests and that Sweden had intervened on Awad's behalf.

"Awad was arrested in Somalia by Ethiopian troops. That was in 2007. He was arrested in Pakistan in 2009," foreign ministry spokesman Anders Joerle told AFP.

"The Swedish foreign ministry helped them. I wouldn't say to free him, but what we did was insist that he either should be tried or set free," he added.

Awad was one of five men arrested in Denmark and Sweden on Wednesday for hatching what Danish officials called a plan to "kill as many people as possible" in an assault on the Jyllands-Posten daily....

Free Speech Death Watch Alert: "Danish FM meets top Muslim cleric to defuse cartoon tension," by Samer al-Atrush for AFP, October 13:

CAIRO -- Denmark's foreign minister said on Wednesday that the hurt caused to Muslims from cartoons lampooning the Prophet Mohammed was "very regrettable," after she met Egypt's top cleric to defuse tensions caused by the re-publication of the caricatures.

Lene Espersen said she and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed al-Tayeb, discussed "how to make sure that the great religions of the world can live peacefully side by side."

The meeting followed the publication last last month of a book carrying the caricatures, entitled "The Tyranny of Silence."

The 499-page book does not reprint the drawings separately, but its inside pages features "a picture of the front page of the Jyllands-Posten newspaper that had the Mohammed cartoons on it," its editor said.

Espersen had met Muslim ambassadors ahead of its release on the fifth anniversary of the cartoons' publication in the daily Jyllands-Postens, which led to deadly riots in Muslim countries several months later.

Espersen, speaking in English at a press conference in Tayeb's offices in Cairo, did not mention the book, but said that she understood that "many people living in the Muslim world felt deeply hurt by cartoons that were in Denmark some years ago."

"I would just like to make it clear that this was something we found very regrettable and didn't wish to see it repeated," she said.

"The Danish government respects all religious creeds and communities and condemns any attempt to demonise groups of people on the basis of religion or their ethnic background."

Tayeb told reporters after the meeting "we have confirmed that what happened was an individual action and the people and government of Denmark are against it and do not accept it."

The Danish government refused to apologise for the cartoons, one of which depicted the Prophet Mohammed with a lit bomb in his turban, citing freedom of the press....

"The meeting will play a large role in calming tensions," said Dia Rashwan, with the Al-Ahram Centre for Political and Strategic Studies.

And that is the most important thing, of course, even if it comes at the price of surrender to Sharia supremacists.

Of course it isn't, because the OIC is not after partial submission to its demands that free speech become subject to Sharia. So, a book about the cartoons that doesn't condemn them as the worst crime against humanity in the past 100 years, and that even reproduces a reduced-size version of the front page of Jyllands-Posten from the day the 'toons were printed, still leaves a lot to be suppressed as far as the OIC is concerned.

And do remember that the OIC wants the UN to develop "a legally binding institutional instrument" to put an end to free speech that could offend Islamic sensibilities.

As shown below, they push their agenda by portraying anything offensive to or critical of Islam as "incitement." Never mind the fact that the people getting hurt in the wake of the cartoons have been in danger from Muslims threatening and attacking the artists and publishers, or from rampages by Muslims in the streets of Muslim countries.

But unless and until the OIC can corral enough sympathizers and useful idiots at the UN to get its way, there's much bullying to be done of individual countries -- in this case, Denmark.

An update on this story. "OIC condemns publication of Danish book," by Habib Shaikh for the Khaleej Times, October 2 (thanks to Sr. Soph):

JEDDAH -- The Organisation of the Islamic Conference has condemned the publication of the book Tyranny of Silence in Denmark.
The book, containing blasphemous caricatures, hit the stores in Denmark on Thursday amid concerns over a backlash from the Muslim world.
The cartoons were first published by the Jyllands-Posten newspaper in 2005, resulting in condemnation from Muslims around the world.

Note the incredible sense of entitlement to order around the Danish government:

OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu expressed his dismay and disappointment at the release of the book despite the fact that he, and some leaders of Muslim countries, had personally written letters to the foreign minister of Denmark, urging the Danish government to stop the publication of the book because of its highly provocative and inciting content.

Incitement to what? Laughter at the cartoons? Smiles? Nods of approval as one proceeds through the book?

He reiterated this position when he met the foreign minister of Denmark recently on the sidelines of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly.
Emphasising the moral responsibility of the political leadership of Denmark, Ihsanoglu said the publication of the book was a deliberate attempt to incite prejudice and animosity. This would undermine the ongoing efforts of the international community to promote understanding and peaceful coexistence among people of diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
Referring to a statement issued by the Danish foreign ministry, he said the publication constituted a flagrant violation of the stipulation of Article 20 of the 1966 International Convention on Civil and Political Rights.

It's always ironic to hear the OIC talk about civil and political rights. What's the priority here? A Muslim's right not to be offended by a cartoon.

He added that in addition the Danish Criminal Code, in section 140, stipulates that people's religious feelings should be protected against mockery and scorn; and in section 266, stipulates that groups of persons should be protected against scorn and degradation on account of their religion, among other things.

If that law is correct as he quoted it, it certainly never anticipated the abuses and agenda of Islamic law. Danes might do well to modify it in response.

He said the publication of the book substantiates OIC's argument that certain groups and individuals are abusing freedom of expression laws to fuel hatred towards Islam and Muslims in some parts of the Western world.

All criticism, all concerns, all expressions of disagreement with Islamic teachings must reflect an upwelling of seething, bilious hatred, you see. And all those hurt feelings from satire and parody: you're committing feeling-cide with malice aforethought!

You're a feeling-cidal maniac, you monster!

As the world braces for more insane violence from Muslims over these cartoons. "Mohammed cartoons book goes on sale in Denmark," from AFP, September 30 (thanks to Weasel Zippers):

COPENHAGEN -- A book on the crisis sparked by a Danish newspaper's publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed five years ago hit stores in Denmark on Thursday amid concerns over a backlash from the Muslim world.

Remember: human beings control their own reactions to things. If Muslims choose yet again to riot and murder because of these cartoons, that would be a choice they make out of an unlimited array of other choices. Western authorities have fallen into the Islamic supremacists' trap and are starting to behave in just the way they want them to: thinking that they must not do certain things, because if they do, there will be violence from Muslims. Yet that violence is in every case solely the responsibility of the perpetrator, not of anyone else.

At one bookshop in Copenhagen, staff prepared for a busy day of trading with Flemming Rose's "The Tyranny of Silence" on the shelves, but fears were also high after a month in which Denmark faced two new security alerts.

On Tuesday an Iraqi Kurd being held in Norway on suspicion of planning bombings admitted that his target was the Jyllands-Posten daily.

Exactly five years ago -- on September 30, 2005 -- the newspaper, where Rose was cultural editor, ran a front-page spread featuring 12 cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.

The drawings sparked outrage across the Muslim world and led to violent protests against Denmark and Danish interests in 2006. Rose himself has since received numerous death threats.

Danish police confirmed the Norwegian claim and said Denmark had become a "priority terrorist target for Islamic extremists."

"Among Islamic militants, it is a priority objective to lead terrorist attacks against Denmark and symbols related to the caricature case," the head of Danish intelligence Jakob Scharf said in a statement.

Earlier this month, Danish police arrested a Chechen man in connection with a small explosion at a central Copenhagen hotel.

Investigators later said he was planning a letter bomb for the Jyllands-Posten.

"This is the second time in a very short period that the public has learned that Jyllands-Posten has probably been the target of organised terrorist acts," head of the Danish Intelligence Service PET, Jakob Scharf, said in a statement.

"This naturally illustrates that, among Islamic militants, it is a priority objective to lead terrorist attacks against Denmark and symbols related to the caricature case," he added.

In a bid to "avoid new confrontations" Denmark's foreign minister met ambassadors of 17 Muslim countries on Wednesday, ahead of the book's publication.

He was almost certainly telling them how sorry he was and pleading for leniency, when he should have told them, "Stop the madness! If anyone gets hurt or killed because of this book, the insane violence of your societies will be revealed to the world!"

The 499-page book will not reprint the drawings separately, but its inside pages will feature "a picture of the front page of the Jyllands-Posten newspaper that had the Mohammed cartoons on it," it's [sic] editor said....

In an August interview, Rose insisted he was not trying to be provocative with the new book, stressing that he simply wanted to "tell the story of the 12 drawings and put them into a context of (other) pictures considered offensive.

It was important to write the book because, he said: "Words should be answered with words.

"That's all we have in a democracy, and if we give that up, we will be locked in a tyranny of silence."

Indeed. And it is coming down fast.

Instead, it blew up in his face.

Motoon Rage just goes on and on: "Bomb suspect 'targeted' Danish paper Jyllands-Posten," from the BBC, September 17 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Danish police think a man hurt in a blast was making a letter bomb to use against a newspaper which published cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

The man was arrested in a park in Copenhagen on 10 September after a small explosion at a nearby hotel.

Police spokesman Svend Foldager said the device would have had the explosive force of a hand grenade.

He was "reasonably confident" Jyllands-Posten had been targeted by the suspect, who denies any crime.

The suspected would-be letter bomber pleaded not guilty to firearms charges and putting lives at risk when he appeared in court on 11 September.

He has been named by police as Lors Dukayev, born in 1986 in Chechnya and now living in Belgium....

And the world yawns as this barbarity continues. "Jyllands-Posten's cartoons keep Denmark on the terrorist map," from the Copenhagen Post, August 30 (thanks to Paul):

Terrorist network al-Qaeda has released an official death list, naming nine people who have mocked the prophet Mohammed - three of whom are Danish. The list was published in Inspire, the organisation's first ever English language magazine.

It is now five years since Jyllands-Posten newspaper published their now notorious cartoons of the prophet, but it would seem the terrorist network has not forgotten the incident, as the three people on the list were all involved in the drawings.

They are the newspaper's former editor-in-chief Carsten Juste, its culture editor Flemming Rose, and the cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who drew the now infamous picture of the prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban....

The hackers "left instructions to the Danish government to introduce a new law to punish people who publicly insult religion [i.e., Islam]," and "implied in their demands that if the law is not introduced, the hacking of Danish websites will continue."

"Denmark's KFC website targeted by Islamist hackers," from the Daily Mail, April 30:

Denmark's KFC website has been targeted by Islamist hackers.
The hackers decided to gain access to the fast food site and post an educational video about their religion on the page.
They also left instructions to the Danish government to introduce a new law to punish people who publicly insult religion.
The hackers implied in their demands that if the law is not introduced, the hacking of Danish websites will continue.

Emoticon jihad: if graven images are haram, it didn't stop these guys:

The hackers left a slightly cryptic message on the site, which read: 'If your Gov. don't make rules for Punishing anyone Insult Religions in the name of (Freedom of Speech ! ) or ( Freedom to Insult ) :)
'So, take this rule of Hacking ! in the name of
'[ Hacking is a Knowledge and the Knowledge is Free !!!]
'If your People can behave and Learn how to Respect , act rationally and stop to Insult Other Religions
'under the name of ( Freedom to Insult ) or ( Freedom of Speech )
'Then the Rule of Hacking will be stopped

Abrupt style change begins...

'Finally , I would like to remind also with the decree which the Human Rights Agency in the United Nations adopted on the 12th of April 2005. This decree insisted on the ban of distortions and vicious attack against religions and especially Islam; which had been strongly attacked in the last few years !

... And now back to this guy:

'Don't worry .. No files deleted .. Just my Index* has been added to your lame bOx ;)
'Greets Go To: All My Friends in MSN :)'
While it is not clear why the KFC site in particular was chosen, some have speculated it is because of the lack of security on the webpage.
But it is clear why Denmark was targeted - following a controversial cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad wearing a bomb-shaped turban being printed in a Danish newspaper....
