HasanBeard.jpgRich on the kuffar dole

"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." -- Qur'an 9:29

As British jihadist Anjem Choudary said: "The normal situation is to take money from the kuffar. You work, give us the money, Allahu akbar."

"Accused Fort Hood Shooter Paid $278,000 While Awaiting Trial," by Scott Friedman for NBCDFW.com, May 21 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

The Department of Defense confirms to NBC 5 Investigates that accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has been paid more than $278,000 since the Nov. 5, 2009 shooting that left 13 dead 32 injured.

The Department of Defense confirms to NBC 5 Investigates that accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has been paid more than $278,000 since the Nov. 5, 2009 shooting that left 13 dead 32 injured.

The Department of Defense confirms to NBC 5 Investigates that accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has now been paid more than $278,000 since the Nov. 5, 2009 shooting that left 13 dead 32 injured. The Army said under the Military Code of Justice, Hasan’s salary cannot be suspended unless he is proven guilty.

If Hasan had been a civilian defense department employee, NBC 5 Investigates has learned, the Army could have suspended his pay after just seven days.

Personnel rules for most civilian government workers allow for "indefinite suspensions" in cases "when the agency has reasonable cause to believe that the employee has committed a crime for which a sentence of imprisonment may be imposed."

Meanwhile, more than three years later soldiers wounded in the mass shooting are fighting to receive the same pay and medical benefits given to those wounded in combat.

Retired Army Spc. Logan Burnett, a reservist who, in 2009, was soon to be deployed to Iraq, was shot three times when a gunman opened fire inside the Army Deployment Center.

“I honestly thought I was going to die in that building,” said Burnett. “Just blood everywhere and then the thought of -- that's my blood everywhere.”

Burnett nearly died. He's had more than a dozen surgeries since the shooting, and says post-traumatic stress still keeps him up at night.

Burnett is now fighting a new battle; only this one is against the U.S. Army.

The Army has not classified the wounds of the Ft. Hood victims as “combat related” and declines to label the shooting a “terrorist attack”, [sic]

The “combat related” designation is an important one, for without it Burnett and other shooting victims are not given combat-related pay, they are not eligible for Purple Heart retirement or medical benefits given to other soldiers wounded either at war or during the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon.

As a result, Burnett, his wife Torey, and the families of other Fort Hood victims miss out on thousands of dollars of potential benefits and pay every year.

To Burnett the shooting felt like combat.

“You take three rounds and lose five good friends and watch seven other people get killed in front of you. Do you have another term that we can classify that as?” asked Burnett.

The Army has categorized the shooting as a case of “workplace violence.”

“Sickens me. Absolutely sickens me. Workplace violence? I don't even know if I have the words to say,” said Burnett....

Boko Haram has murdered 2,000 Nigerians, torched churches, terrorized untold numbers of Infidels, and John Kerry urges the Nigerian army to treat it gently. They will not, however, return the favor. "John Kerry urges Nigeria army 'restraint,'" from the BBC, May 18 (thanks to Justin):

US Secretary of State John Kerry has urged the Nigerian army to show restraint and not violate human rights as it pursues an offensive against Islamist militants in the north-east.

Mr Kerry said there were "credible allegations" of "gross human rights violations" by the Nigerian military.

This week Nigeria launched its biggest offensive since the Boko Haram group began its insurgency in 2010.

A state of emergency is in force in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states.

"The United States condemns Boko Haram's campaign of terror in the strongest terms," Mr Kerry said in a statement.

"We urge Nigeria's security forces to apply disciplined use of force in all operations, protect civilians in any security response and respect human rights and the rule of law.''

More than 2,000 people have died in the violence since 2010, most of which is blamed on Boko Haram....

Just more of the same from the Obama Administration. "Homeland Security guidelines advise deference to pro-Shariah Muslim supremacists," by Charles C. Johnson in the Daily Caller, May 17:

The Department of Homeland Security, which under Secretary Janet Napolitano has shown a keen interest in monitoring and warning about outspoken conservatives, takes a very different approach in monitoring political Islamists, according to a 2011 memo on protecting the free speech rights of pro-Shariah Muslim supremacists.

In a checklist obtained by The Daily Caller entitled “Countering Violent Extremism Dos and Don’ts” the DHS’s Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties notifies local and national law enforcement officials that it is Obama administration policy to consider specifically Islamic criticism of the American system of government legitimate.

This policy stands in stark contrast to the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis’ 2009 memo “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” [pdf], which warned of the dangers posed by pro-life advocates, critics of same-sex marriage and groups concerned with abiding by the U.S. Constitution, among others.

The advice of the Dos and Don’ts list is far more conciliatory. “Don’t use training that equates radical thought, religious expression, freedom to protest, or other constitutionally-protected activity, including disliking the U.S. government without being violent,” the manual’s authors write in a section on training being “sensitive to constitutional values.”

The manual, which was produced by an inter-agency working group from DHS and the National Counterterrorism Center, advises, “Trainers who equate the desire for Sharia law with criminal activity violate basic tenets of the First Amendment.”...

Because it was used during the Crusades, you see. Eleanor Jackson, like so many others in England and the U.S., is ashamed of her heritage and history. No wonder they are throwing it away with both hands. "Council vetoes flag of St George after concerns raised about links to Crusades," by Victoria Ward for the Telegraph, May 15 (thanks to all who sent this in):

A local council decided against flying the flag of St George after concerns were raised that it would offend the town’s 16 Muslim residents.

Eleanor Jackson, a university lecturer, said the red and white symbol could cause upset in Radstock, Somerset, because it was used during the Crusades 1,000 years ago.

The Labour councillor voiced her concerns at a meeting called to discuss which flag should be purchased to fly atop the town's repaired civic flagpole.

She said: “My big problem is that it is offensive to some Muslims, but even more so that it has been hijacked by the far right.

"My thoughts are we ought to drop it for 20 years."

Radstock Town Council, which serves a local population of more than 5,600 residents, eventually decided to purchase a Union flag to fly on Armistice Day.

The rainbow flag of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride movement will be flown at “appropriate” times of the year while an In Bloom flag will celebrate the town's achievements in the gardening competition.

The objections raised about the flag of St George were branded “oversensitive” by the local Muslim community while the Muslim Council of Britain said England's patron saint should not be associated with “any hatred of Muslims”.

Spokeswoman Nasima Begum said: "St George needs to take his rightful place as a national symbol of inclusivity rather than a symbol of hatred.”

Rizwan Ahmed, spokesman for the Bristol Muslim Cultural Society said: "I think they are going a bit far here.

"It is political correctness going a bit too far.

"Use by the far right is one thing, but to say that Muslims are offended I don't think is correct. We understand the flag is part of this country's heritage, and in fact many many Muslims will identify as being British themselves.

"In actual fact we are normal people. We have a sense of humour and have the same concerns as everyone else – we are not just some single group."...

So we're constantly told, until there comes the next time to take offense over some ridiculous thing. And "we are not just some single group," and yet there is still no significant anti-jihad or anti-terror movement among Muslims in the U.K. or U.S. Now, why is that?

A severe blow for the freedom of speech, and victory for the advance of Sharia blasphemy laws here. "Michigan Federal Judge Allows Muslim Violence to Suppress Christian Speech; Immediate Appeal Filed," from the American Freedom Law Center, May 14:

A Michigan federal judge today dismissed a civil rights lawsuit brought by several Christian evangelists who were violently assaulted by a hostile Muslim mob while preaching at an Arab festival last year in Dearborn, Michigan, which has the largest Muslim population in the United States. Video of the Muslim assault went viral on YouTube.

The American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) filed the lawsuit against Wayne County, the Wayne County Sheriff, and two Wayne County Deputy Chiefs for refusing to protect the Christians from the attack and threatening to arrest the Christians for disorderly conduct if they did not halt their speech activity and immediately leave the festival area.

Judge Patrick J. Duggan, sitting in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, granted Wayne County’s motion for summary judgment, dismissing the lawsuit. The judge also denied AFLC’s motion requesting that the court issue an order preventing the Wayne County Sheriff and his deputies from restricting the Christian evangelists from displaying their banners and signs on the public sidewalks outside of this year’s Arab Festival, which will be held in June. In the ruling, the judge stated the following: “The Court finds that the actual demonstration of violence here provided the requisite justification for [the Wayne County sheriffs’] intervention, even if the officials acted as they did because of the effect the speech had on the crowd.”

Robert Muise, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, commented: “The First Amendment was dealt a severe blow today as a result of this ruling. Indeed, this ruling effectively empowers Muslims to silence Christian speech that they deem offensive by engaging in violence. And pursuant to this ruling, the Christian speakers are now subject to arrest for engaging in disorderly conduct on account of the Muslim hecklers’ violent response to their speech. In short, this ruling turns the First Amendment on its head.”

David Yerushalmi, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, added: “This fight for our fundamental right to freedom of speech does not stop here. We have filed an immediate appeal of this ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. While Judge Duggan may have been the first judge to rule on this issue, he won’t be the last. Indeed, we are prepared to take this case to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary because it is imperative that our free speech rights not be subject to mob rule. This is the United States, not Benghazi.”

At least for now.

Watch the video above. It is not "hate speech," it is speech on behalf of justice and human rights. But the Thought Police were out in force anyway.

Pamela Geller notes: "I condemn Islamic Jew-hatred. Is that what these Rabbis find "disgraceful and profoundly disappointing"? I am a fierce supporter of Israel. Is that what these Rabbis find "disgraceful and profoundly disappointing"? I oppose gender apartheid, creed apartheid, ethnic cleansing, honor violence and honor murder, FGM, etc. Is that what these Rabbis find "disgraceful and profoundly disappointing"?"

"Geller takes on Toronto Board of Rabbis," by Joanne Hill for the Jewish Tribune, May 14 (thanks to Blazing Cat Fur):

TORONTO – Pamela Geller struck back at the Toronto Board of Rabbis (TBR) for a critical statement it issued just hours before her appearance Monday night at the Zionist Centre.

In a press release, the TBR said it considered Geller’s views “distasteful” and expressed “profound disappointment that a local Jewish organization” [the Jewish Defense League of Canada] had invited her to speak here. It described Geller as “a blogger who is known for her extreme criticism of Muslims in language that is intended to shock and ridicule.”

Geller was unaware of the TBR statement until the Jewish Tribune brought it to her attention. The TBR said it is “a strong supporter of freedom of speech for all, including Ms. Geller. Ms. Geller’s voice and message are already well known here in Canada and beyond. There was no sense in inviting her here to speak before a Jewish audience.”

The 400 people who purchased tickets, and the numerous people who were turned away at the door, may beg to differ. The main room where Geller spoke was standing room only and another room was filled with people who paid to watch her on a screen.

The audience reacted audibly with shocked gasps and exclamations when Geller announced, “Today the Toronto Board of Rabbis came out with a statement condemning me.”

She continued, “Now, let me tell you what’s most egregious about this: they never contacted me. They didn’t cite one quote from me: not one. I have [authored] three books, I have [written] hundreds of articles, I have written 26,000-plus [blog] posts: not one quote. But they will give chum to the sharks by pitting Jew against Jew….

“To the Toronto Board of Rabbis, I say it is the mission of the yehudim to speak the truth. Shame on you; shame on you. They’re guilty of lashon hara, the evil gossip that is a lie.”

Geller spoke about a range of topics, including Islamic jihad (holy war against non-Muslims); all with the central theme of defending individual rights and freedoms which, she said, are under attack by people on the radical left as well as adherents of extremist Islam.

“My line in the sand is freedom of speech because I know my ideas are better,” she said. “Mine is not a religious issue. The premise, the font, of all of my ideas is individual rights…. Anyone that says that I am anti-Muslim is…implying that all Muslims support jihad.”

Although the Toronto Police Service (TPS) had not received any complaints about Geller’s appearance, members of its hate crimes unit were in the audience monitoring what was said, TPS Spokesperson Mark Pugash confirmed.

Nothing Geller and her hosts said crossed the line into hate speech, according to police.

“There was nothing that they heard that leads them to believe any action is necessary,” said Pugash.

There were no protests against the event either outside or inside the building.

We recently saw that a jihad-martyrdom suicide bomber lived off Swedish student aid. And as British jihadist Anjem Choudary said: "The normal situation is to take money from the kuffar. You work, give us the money, Allahu akbar." But those are just individuals. Karzai has them all beat: he is raking it in for his entire gang, a.k.a. the "Afghan government."

"Karzai: CIA promises to continue cash payments," by Qadir Sediqi and Chelsea J. Carter for CNN, May 5:

(CNN) -- Afghan President Hamid Karzai says he has received assurances from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's station chief in Kabul that it will continue delivering cash, as it has for the past decade, to his offices.

"Yes, we received cash from the CIA for the past 10 years. It was very useful, and we are very thankful for this aid," the president said during a news conference Saturday in Kabul.

"Yesterday, I thanked the CIA's chief in Kabul and I requested their continued help, and they promised that they will continue. "

Karzai's comments follow last week's report by The New York Times that the CIA has been dropping off shopping bags full of money every month or so for more than a decade to the offices of the Afghan president.

"This is not unusual," he told reporters, adding that the money was spent by his office and the national security office for a variety of purposes, including paying salaries, helping the war wounded and providing scholarships.

Karzai dismissed questions about why such money, not in state coffers, was needed for what he described as government expenses.

"This is the choice of the American government," he said....

What he means is that the Christians are properly dhimmis -- that is, the subjugated people under the rule of the Muslims. But the Copts have come out with weapons, and are thus in rebellion against their Muslim masters. In that case, their "contract of protection" (dhimma) that allows them to live in the Islamic state as long as they accept the denial of basic rights is forfeit, and according to Islamic law they can lawfully be killed.

"You Can 'Kill Some Christians Today,' Says Egypt's Secretary-General of Islamic Jihad Party," from MidEast Christian News, May 2 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

Mohamed Abu Samra, secretary-general of the Islamic Jihad Party, made the claim that "it is permissible to kill some Christians today," then gave his argument defending such a position.

He justified this announcement by saying: "Those who came out with weapons, their blood is allowed for us [to spill], as a fighter is not considered dhimmi."

Dhimma is the Islamic law that specifies non-Muslims are to be protected residents within the Islamic state in exchange for taxes.

"In the recent funeral, the Christians brought the Qur'an and urinated on it.

Oh yeah, I'm sure that happened.

The Sheikh of Al-Azhar did not deny it. They also came out in demonstrations to destroy Muslim places, chanting 'We'll bring Islam down by any means possible,'" Samra said during an interview with Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan on Wednesday.

"Jihad gagged the new pope, as we told him in a statement 'your seclusion will not terrorize us.' If you want civil war, we will welcome it as you were the ones who started it," Samra said.

"I believe that Pope Tawadros is more dangerous than Shenouda, because the former considers using force as he is trying to establish a Coptic state. He considers the arrival of the Islamists an opportunity to declare civil war," Samra continued. "I believe that offering concessions to this person will make him continue on the path, which he charted, but the end will not be as he expects. Egypt is not like Lebanon or Southeast Asia, and national unity is a fact [here]."

"What Tawadros is doing is a far cry from what the Coptic people want," he added.

Samra stated to the newspaper that the Church stands behind the organization "Black Bloc," and that the "Tayyiban Battalion," which he claimed was formed under the late Pope Shenouda III under the cover of scouting, was trained in Lebanon and participated in the Lebanese civil war.

H.H Pope Tawadros II has not responded to such accusations. As for the claims of the Church supporting Black Bloc or its origins, there is no evidence for such and the scouting groups of the Church are responsible for church organization during prayers and did not receive any training in Lebanon.

UPDATE: Release order overruled. Common sense prevails (for now).

------

He also has been linked to a Muslim who tried to set off a bomb in a Chicago bar. But "family members and leaders from Tounisi's religious community" convinced the judge that he didn't need to be in jail; the poor dear would be fine at home. "Teen charged with trying to join al-Qaida gets home confinement," by Annie Sweeney for the Chicago Tribune, May 2 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):

In a highly unusual decision, a federal judge Thursday ordered a terrorism suspect released to home confinement while the Aurora teen awaits trial on charges that he signed up to fight in war-torn Syria for a terror group with ties to al-Qaida.

But the U.S. attorney's office quickly moved to appeal the decision, putting a hold on the release of Abdella Ahmad Tounisi. Another judge will reconsider Tounisi's bail Friday morning.

Federal prosecutors called Tounisi, 18, a flight risk and a danger to the community in asking that he remain in custody on charges that he provided material support to a terrorist organization. Tounisi has been in custody since his arrest April 19 at O'Hare International Airport.

Prosecutors allege that Tounisi posted messages on a phony website set up by the FBI agreeing to travel to Syria to fight with the Al-Nusra Front militant group. According to authorities, Tounisi has links to a second Chicago-area terrorism suspect, Adel Daoud, who was arrested in September after he tried to set off what he thought was a bomb outside a downtown bar. The two were close friends and plotted the bomb attack together, prosecutors allege, but Tounisi backed out when he suspected law enforcement was on to them.

In ordering Tounisi's release, U.S. Magistrate Judge Daniel Martin repeatedly called the decision a "close, close" call but said that pretrial detention is intended to be an "exceptional step." Martin also said he was convinced in part by a courtroom packed with family members and leaders from Tounisi's religious community. The judge also cited Tounisi's lack of criminal background.

Martin's voice shifted to a stern tone as he directly addressed Tounisi, warning him not to break any of the rules he had set for his release. Martin acknowledged the rare opportunity he was giving him, noting the seriousness of the charges and the allegations that Tounisi intended to harm people here and abroad.

"This is no game, Mr. Tounisi," Martin said at one point. "The world is a very volatile place. … Right now you are hanging by a thread in this courtroom."...

No game, indeed, Judge Martin, except the one in which you are so skillfully being played.

Islamic supremacists and their willing dhimmi enablers strongarm a rabbi into giving them yet another victory over the freedom of speech. This shows yet again how much Islamic supremacists fear the truths that people like Pamela Geller tell: they know they cannot prove her wrong or refute her, so they do everything they can to shut her down. And it is the same story with me and everyone else who dares to tell the truth about jihad and Islamic supremacism. "Free Speech Under Fire in Canada," by Pamela Geller in the American Thinker, May 3:

Here is yet another instance of the Islamic supremacist/leftist war on free speech -- particularly egregious in the wake of the Boston Marathon jihad bombings. The message is all the more crucial now. For years, my colleagues and I labored under the most heinous circumstances. Anyone who opposes the jihad and the Sharia must endure a constant withering attack on one's name, reputation, integrity, and even spirit.

I was scheduled to speak at the Chabad Flamingo Synagogue in Thornhill, right outside of Toronto's city limits, on May 13. But now Islamic supremacist groups in Canada, with willing aid from the Canadian police, have succeeded in getting the event canceled under police pressure, and the organizers are looking for a new location.

Insp. Ricky Veerappan, of the York Regional Police force's diversity, equity and inclusion bureau: "Some of the stuff that Ms. Geller speaks about runs contrary to the values of York Regional Police and the work we do in engaging our communities."

Let me understand this. The "stuff" that I speak about -- gender apartheid, creed apartheid, Islamic Jew-hatred, honor killing -- runs contrary to their values? What exactly are their values? Imposing Sharia? Because that's exactly what they're doing. My value is life. What's theirs?

And they acted on smears from the ADL. The Police Department had concerns about the event because an Islamic supremacist group had complained to them, citing some of the smears and libels that are circulating about me on the Internet, including the Anti-Defamation League's denunciation of me.

The capacity for humiliating, destructive behavior from the ADL's Abraham Foxman (and those Jews who fund the ADL) continues to astound and repel proud Jews across the world. This is the same ADL that has condemned Jews including Joan Rivers, Seth MacFarlane, and Israel itself.

The ADL is more dangerous to the Jews than her avowed enemies, because they appear to be on our side -- and yet undermine the staunchest and fiercest Zionists. The enemies of freedom use the compromised Jews of the AFL to defame and destroy a Jew who is truly standing up for Israel and for the principles of freedom and human rights that the Jewish State represents. It's inexcusable.

But this time the police met repeatedly with the rabbi and warned him not to host the event, and finally threatened him that if he held the event, he would be removed from his position as chaplain of York County.

The rabbi wasn't prepared to go up against the police, or to give up his chaplaincy, so he bowed to the threat and canceled the event. It's unfortunate that Chabad could not withstand the pressure from the police department, particularly in light of the brutal and horrifying murders and mutilations of their fellow Chabadniks Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, his wife Rivka and their children in the Mumbai jihad massacre in November 2008.

The police also told the rabbi that Jason Kenney, Canada's Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, has been asked to keep me out of Canada. They are trying to ban me fresh on the heels of an Islamic attack targeting the passenger train between New York and Toronto. Does this make any sense to any of you?

So the police are kowtowing to the Islamic groups, who are demanding that the government do so as well, and the rabbi is kowtowing to the police to insure his York chaplaincy.

Pamela Geller notes: "Meanwhile, the convicted terrorist and airline hijacker Leila Khaled, who is known as the 'poster girl of Palestinian militancy,' is scheduled to speak at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Khaled has been convicted of terrorism for participating in airline hijackings for the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a terrorist group. She is scheduled to speak via Skype this Saturday, May 4, at a conference hosted by a group supporting the Palestinian jihad."

That alone demonstrates that this isn't about opposing "hate crimes" in the name of "diversity, equity and inclusion." Leila Khaled can spew her antisemitic hate, Tariq Ramadan can air his soothing, complacency-inducing deceptions, but Pamela Geller can't speak up in defense of the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience and equality of rights for all people. This is not about opposing "hate"; it's about Islamic supremacists in Canada moving to shut down a foe of jihad and Islamic supremacism, so that the jihad can proceed unimpeded, and dhimmi police eagerly complying.

Here's the thing: Islamic supremacists in the U.S. and Canada are desperately afraid of Pamela Geller, and of me, and of everyone who stands up against jihad and Islamic supremacism. That's why they move to shut us down wherever and whenever they can. That's why Islamic supremacist spokesmen in the U.S. such as Reza Aslan, Ahmed Rehab, Omid Safi and so many others run from debate from me. They know that what we say is true. They know they can't answer us.

"York Regional Police threaten rabbi's role as chaplain over Pamela Geller speech," by Terry Davidson for the Toronto Sun, May 1 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

TORONTO - York Regional Police threatened to remove a rabbi as one of the force’s chaplains if he hosted a controversial anti-Islamist speaker at his Thornhill synagogue.

Insp. Ricky Veerappan, of the force’s diversity, equity and inclusion bureau, confirmed he and officers from the service’s hate crimes unit met with Rabbi Mendel Kaplan of the Chabad Flamingo Synagogue on Tuesday.

They expressed concern about an upcoming talk to be given by Pamela Geller, a vocal critic of radical Islam. She protested past plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero in New York City, and has posted anti-Jihad messages in that city’s subway system.

Subsequent to his meeting with police, Kaplan cancelled Geller’s May 13 talk, which was sponsored by the Jewish Defence League (JDL) — a hard-line advocacy group that had rented space in Kaplan’s synagogue for the event.

I think the police are turning a blind eye to who they should be keeping an eye on,” said the JDL’s Meir Weinstein, referring to radical Islamists. Weinstein said another location will be chosen for Geller’s appearance.

Veerappan said he told Kaplan that Geller’s speech “would not be endorsed by York Regional Police” and that the rabbi’s role as a force chaplain would be thrown into question if he were to permit the event.

“If he did (host Geller), then we’d have to reassess our relationship with (Kaplan),” Veerappan said. “We serve the needs of the entire community. Some of the stuff that Ms. Geller speaks about runs contrary to the values of York Regional Police and the work we do in engaging our communities.”

Veerappan said a member of York Region's Muslim community, whom he wouldn’t identify, brought Geller’s scheduled talk to the attention of police.

York Regional Police enlist eight chaplains of different faiths to counsel police officers and their families. Among them is a Muslim chaplain, Imam Abdul Hai Patel.

A Geller speech scheduled for early April at the Great Neck Synagogue in Long Island, N.Y., was also cancelled.

In March, the University of Toronto hosted controversial Muslim lecturer Tariq Ramadan, who has also spoken in Toronto at the annual Islamic faith conference, Reviving the Islamic Spirit. In October, Pakistani politician Imran Khan, a controversial critic of the U.S. war on terror, spoke in Brampton. Leila Khaled, a Palestinian revolutionary from the 1970s, is set speak at University of British Columbia on May 4.

They probably thought that this money was their due. The Infidels should pay the Muslims, as per this verse of the Qur'an: "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." -- Qur'an 9:29

"Tsarnaev family received $100G in benefits," by Chris Cassidy in the Boston Herald, April 29 (thanks to Andrew Bostom):

The Tsarnaev family, including the suspected terrorists and their parents, benefited from more than $100,000 in taxpayer-funded assistance — a bonanza ranging from cash and food stamps to Section 8 housing from 2002 to 2012, the Herald has learned.

The breadth of the benefits the family was receiving was stunning,” said a person with knowledge of documents handed over to a legislative committee today.

This is more indication that the Tsarnaev jihad brothers did not act alone. Who paid for the six-month trip to Russia? And why did Massachusetts authorities not consider it odd that the wife had to be on welfare while husband had the money for six months in Russia?

As for the welfare itself, as believers in the Qur'an, it is likely that they thought this money was their due. The Infidels should pay the Muslims, as per this verse: "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." -- Qur'an 9:29

More on this story. "Bombing Suspect's Wife, Daughter on Welfare While He Traveled to Russia," by Michael Patrick Leahy for Breitbart, April 28 (thanks to CGW):

Deceased Boston bombing "Suspect 1" Tamerlan Tsarnaev's American born wife and young daughter were on food stamps and Aid to Families with Dependent Children in Massachusetts during the six months he traveled to and stayed in Russia in early 2012.

The Boston Herald reported on Saturday that Tsarnaev's wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaeva, whom he married in June 2010, and their now 3 year old daughter received both food stamps and AFDC from September 2011 to November 2012. Food stamps are paid by federal taxpayers and AFDC is paid by both federal and state taxpayers.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev flew to Moscow on an Aeroflot flight in January 2012 and did not return to the United States until July 2012. During this six months trip to Russia, Tsarnaev stayed with his father in the Russian republic of Dagestan for three months, but also visited Chechnya. It is unclear if Tsarnaev met with Islamist radicals during this trip who may have trained him in preparation for the April 15, 2013 Boston bombings he and his brother Dzhokhar are alleged to have carried out.

This new information raised several questions about Tamerlan Tsarnaev's trip to Russia. First, if his wife and daughter were on aid, who paid for his ticket? Additionally, why did Massachusetts authorities fail to flag Tsarnaev's travel as a possible factor that would influence his wife and daughter's eligibility for aid?

Breitbart News attempted to reach officials at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, the agency that administers food stamps and AFDC programs in the state, to determine if Tsarnaev's travel to a foreign country while his wife and child were receiving aid should have triggered an eligibility alarm. No one was available over the weekend for comment....

ThreeAQ.jpgThe three Misunderstanders of Islam; Irfan is on the left

The ringleader, Irfan Naseer, won't be around until 2031, by which time he will have a good shot at being made President of the Islamic Republic of Britain. But the others will be able to slap burqinis on the wives and hit the beaches this summer.

"Jailed jihad terrorists to be set free in weeks," by Tom Whitehead for the Telegraph, April 26 (thanks to all who sent this in):

The ringleader of a Birmingham terror cell who plotted a suicide bombing campaign in the UK may never be released, a judge warned on Friday.

Four members of the group, who travelled to Pakistan for training in terrorism, will be free within three months after being jailed for 40 months.

The 11-strong al-Qaeda inspired gang from Birmingham wanted to use eight suicide bombers in attacks that could have left thousands dead. The ringleader, Irfan Naseer, 31, was given five life sentences for the plot. A judge said he may never be released. However, his followers were treated more leniently. Naseer’s group wanted to cause more damage than the 7/7 London bombings and threatened to carry out “another 9/11”.

Naseer sent Shahid Khan, 21, Khobaib Hussain, 21, Ishaaq Hussain, 21, and Naweed Ali, 25, to Pakistan for terrorism training. But they returned without receiving any.

At Woolwich Crown Court yesterday, the four men were sentenced to 40 months, of which they will serve only half, after admitting an offence of travelling overseas for terrorism training.

They have been on remand since November 2011. So they will be back on the streets by July.

The al-Qaeda inspired gang wanted to cause mass murder and carnage on the streets. They even criticised the 7/7 attacks for not “doing enough damage”.

Mr Justice Henriques, sitting at Woolwich Crown Court, said Naseer, a pharmacy graduate, from Sparkhill, Birmingham, was a “highly trained terrorist” and the “driving force” behind the plot. He said Naseer, also known as “Chubbs”, was a “highly skilful bombmaker”. The judge gave him five life sentences for a series of terrorism offences connected to the bombing campaign. He will serve at least 18 years before being eligible for parole.

The judge told him: “Your plot had the blessing of al-Qaeda and you intended to further the aims of al-Qaeda.

“Clearly nothing was going to stop you, short of intervention of the authorities.”

The three central figures Naseer, Irfan Khalid, 28, and Ashik Ali, 28, were convicted of planning a terrorism campaign in February after a four and a half month trial. Naseer and Khalid had undertaken terrorism training in Pakistan, where they made martyrdom videos to be released by al-Qaeda.

Although no target was settled on, Ali told police they planned to attack soldiers but also talked of turning a Birmingham street into a “little war zone”.

The men were secretly recorded by MI5 and police before their arrests in 2011.

Khalid, who is in the bottom 2 to 5 per cent of cognitive ability, boasted that the attack would be “another 9/11”.

He was jailed for 18 years after which he will spend an extra five years on licence. Ali was jailed for 15 years with a five-year extended licence period.

The gang funded its plot by raising up to £30,000 in bogus charity collections but lost large parts of it after investing in the foreign exchange markets.

Rahin Ahmed, 28, the group’s chief fundraiser who lost the money, was jailed for 12 years.

Of the rest of the group, Ali’s older brother Bahader Ali, 29, was jailed for six years, Mohammed Rizwan, 34, got four years and Mujahid Hussain, 21, was given four years for varying roles.

Spencer Ackerman, stand up and take a bow. Farhana Khera and John Brennan, you too. Salam al-Marayati, don't get left out. You're all responsible for the scrubbing of counter-terror training materials of the truth about Islam and jihad. Stand up and be recognized. But try to wash the blood off your hands first.

"Blind Eye: Conciliatory FBI policies toward Islamism hampered probe into Boston bombers," by Bill Gertz for The Washington Free Beacon, April 23 (thanks to Kenneth):

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s failure to recognize political Islam as a driver of jihadist terrorism is partly to blame for the FBI not identifying one of the Boston Marathon bombers in 2011 as a security risk, according to U.S. officials and private counterterrorism analysts.

The FBI revealed last week that it was warned by a foreign government in 2011 that Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed Friday, was tied to “radical Islam” but the FBI was unable to confirm the links.

“The fact is religion has been expunged from counterterrorism training,” said Sebastian Gorka, a counterterrorism specialist with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. “The FBI can’t talk about Islam and they can’t talk about jihad.”

Added Patrick S. Poole, another counterterrorism specialist, about FBI policies on Islam: “I have zero doubt it affected their investigation of Tsarnaev.”

A U.S. official said FBI policies of playing down Islamic links to terrorism resulted in the FBI not identifying Tsarnaev, 26, or his brother, Dzhokar Tsarnaev, 19, who was charged with last week’s bombing, as Islamist terrorists.

Instead, the FBI is limiting its description of the two men as ethnic Chechens who became “radicalized” prior to the April 15 bombing of the Boston Marathon. Three people were killed and more than 200 injured in the attack using two homemade bombs placed in pressure cookers and remotely detonated.

Former Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R., Mich.), who until he retired in 2011 headed the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said an investigation into the FBI’s questioning of Tamerlan Tsarnaev is needed.

“I think that is one of the things that we’re really going to have to take a closer look at,” Hoekstra told the online intelligence newsletter Lignet....

We recently saw that a jihad-martyrdom suicide bomber lived off Swedish student aid. And as British jihadist Anjem Choudary just said: "The normal situation is to take money from the kuffar. You work, give us the money, Allahu akbar."

"Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits," by Chris Cassidy in the Boston Herald, April 24 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned.

State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter. The state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services said those benefits ended in 2012 when the couple stopped meeting income eligibility limits. Russell Tsarnaev’s attorney has claimed Katherine — who had converted to Islam — was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide while Tsarnaev stayed at home.

In addition, both of Tsarnaev’s parents received benefits, and accused brother bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were recipients through their parents when they were younger, according to the state.

The news raises questions over whether Tsarnaev financed his radicalization on taxpayer money.

Relatives and news reports have indicated that Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s descent into extremist Islam began around 2008 or 2009, when the ethnic Chechen met a convert identified only as “Misha,” began to become more devout, and sought out jihadist and conspiracy theorist websites, and the rabidly anti-Semitic propaganda tract, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

In 2009, he was quoted in a photo essay as saying, “I don’t have a single American friend, I don’t understand them,” adding that he believed Americans had lost their “values.”

His uncle Ruslan Tsarnaev said it was around that time his nephew gave up drinking and was devoting himself to “God’s business,” while Tamerlan’s mother, now wearing a hijab — an Islamic headscarf — began relating conspiracy theories about the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks to her cosmetology clients that she said her son had told her.

The people on the Mavi Marmara flotilla were genocidal Jew-hating jihadis, as you can see in the second video above: they were chanting a jihad war cry recalling Muhammad's massacre of the Jews of Arabia: "Khybar, Khybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return." See the photos here of their weapons. Kerry's equating them with the victims of the Boston jihad bombings is monstrous -- and retailing yet again the Leftist and Turkish narrative that these were peace-loving folks victimized by the wicked Zionists. What is most tragic about this whole thing is that Obama strongarmed Netanyahu into subscribing to that narrative himself by apologizing to the Turks.

"Kerry Compares Boston Victims, Marmara Terrorists," from Israel National News, April 22 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

Speaking at Istanbul, Turkey, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry made a jarring comparison between the victims of the Boston Marathon terror bombs and terror activists from the IHH group who were killed when they attacked IDF forces aboard the Mavi Marmara in 2010.

Kerry told his hosts in Turkey that he understands the pain of the families whose loved ones were killed aboard the Marmara – and added that he can understand their pain well, having just dealt with the families whose loved ones were slain in Boston.

Kerry said in his speech that he hopes the Israeli apology will lead to a thawing of Israel-Turkey relations.

Representatives of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu arrived in Turkey Sunday, for talks on the compensation Israel will pay Turkey for the deaths of the IHH terror activists. The apology was brokered by U.S. President Barack Obama, as part of a rapprochement between Israel and Turkey that may include security cooperation regarding the Iranian nuclear weapons threat.

Multiple sources confirmed that he was set to be deported this week for "national security concerns" supposedly unrelated to the Boston jihad bombings, just days after being questioned about his role in those bombings. Now that order has been rescinded -- probably because it has come to light how Obama appears to be kowtowing to the Saudis yet again.

"EXCLUSIVE: Source-Saudi National's Deportation Record Altered," by Elizabeth Shield for Breitbart, April 20 (thanks to Benedict):

Breitbart News has learned that the Saudi National questioned after the Boston Marathon Bombing had his deportation order records altered, rescinding his deportation order.

The alteration occurred the night before Secretary Napolitano vehemently denied the existence of any deportation order in testimony before the House of Representatives. Sources with knowledge of these matters says the change occurred subsequent to Secretary John Kerry's closed door meeting on Tuesday with the Saudi Minister and around the time of the meeting between the Saudi Minister and Obama later on Wednesday evening.

The Saudi National has been identified as Abdulrahman Ali Al-Harbi. There is no evidence that Al-Harbi is connected to the Boston Marathon Bombings.

Steven Emerson announced on Wednesday night's episode of Hannity that the Saudi National who was a person of interest and later cleared, was set to be deported.

Thursday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano was questioned by Congressman Jeff Duncan about the alleged deportation in a House hearing. Napolitano responded “I am unaware of anyone who is being deported for national security concerns at all related to Boston. I don’t know where that rumor came from.”

Congressman Duncan pushed Napolitano and she retorted:

“I am not going to answer that question, it is so full of misstatements and misapprehensions, that it is just not worthy of an answer....there has been so much reported on this that has been wrong, I can’t even begin to tell you, congressman.”

Emerson appeared for a second time on Hannity on Thursday night to reveal that "the documents are going to surface or at least members of Congress have it right now, and they'll make the contents public."

HANNITY: I have multiple sources, high level, within our government, that told me the exact same thing. That this Saudi national, they said now is a witness, not a suspect, but saying is to be deported Tuesday, I was told for the exact same thing, for national security reasons. I did see the video where Janet Napolitano denied any knowledge of that, but yet it's been confirmed now by multiple sources.

EMERSON: And the documents are going to surface or at least members of Congress have it right now, and they'll make the contents public. We don't know if he was connected to the bombing or not, but it's a strange coincidence for sure.
