Have you ever heard of the "Mother Theresa of Africa"? This name had been given to an Italian nun, Sr. Annalena Tonneli, who worked in Somalia for thirty years, "founding," according to the Barnabas Fund, "a TB hospital, orphanages and schools." Evidently a woman of such accomplishment was an affront to Islam: she was murdered in Borama, Somaliland, on October 5, 2003, "by two armed men in front of the hospital."
The Barnabas Fund also reports that "in another attack on 20 October, a British couple in their sixties, Richard and Enid Eyeington, working for SOS Children’s villages in Somaliland were shot dead by several gunmen in their home inside the school compound while watching television. Also, in November a Kenyan Christian working for the Seventh Day Adventist mission in Gedo, South West Somalia, was murdered by Islamist radicals. The attacks appear to be deliberately anti-Christian and anti-Western.
Another event earlier in the year illustrates the continuing power of traditional Islamic legal restrictions on conversion from Islam: "In February 2003 a radical Somali Islamist group, Kulanka Culimada, based in Mogadishu issued a press release in which they called for all Somali Christians to be treated as apostates from Islam who ought to be killed. This was in response to a bold move by the tiny persecuted Christian community in Somalia that had sent several delegates to peace talks currently being held in Nairobi (initiated in 2002) to demand the right of freedom of religion and assembly, political representation, and free movement. The Christian representatives were shouted down by Muslim delegates who insisted Somalia had no Christians and who declared Islam to be the official religion of Somalia. This seems to mirror prejudices widely held by Muslim Somalis which justify violence against Christians, both indigenous and expatriate. . . .
"Most Somalis, over 99.5%, are Muslims who regard Christianity as a foreign religion of their historic enemies in Ethiopia and of their former colonial masters the Italians and the British. There is a long history of conflict between Muslim Somalis and Christian Ethiopians, so anti-Christian sentiment runs deep. Most Somalis take it for granted that a true Somali is a Muslim and converts to Christianity must be traitors. . . .
"Aid and mission work by Christian bodies in the colonial period resulted in a tiny Christian community of between five hundred to a thousand, mainly in the south. Church property and institutions were nationalized in 1972 and all mission work was stopped in 1974. Many Christian Somalis have fled abroad as a result of the wars, chaos, civil strife and instability which followed the collapse of Somalia in 1991. Christian churches were driven underground and have suffered much persecution. A number of believers have been imprisoned and martyred over the years. Evangelism is prohibited, and believers worship on Friday to avoid association with foreign Christianity. Most church buildings have collapsed and are in ruins." (Thanks to bgordon.)

No amount of persecution can thwart the Somali Church. Somali Muslim militants kill and harass Somali Christians in the Horn of Africa. Somali Muslims have a motto for Somali Christians, “waan kugu janno tegayaa”, which means “ I will go to heaven by killing you! Somali Muslims need to know that the way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ and not through killing his disciples.
I urge the worldwide Christian Church to pool their efforts and to flood Somalia with thousands upon thousands of missionaries to rescue the Somalis from the demonic control that uses Islam as a tool to eliminate the Somali Church.

Somalis are dying without Christ. Does not anyone care about this? What will we say to the Lord in the Day of Judgment?

Somali Militant Group: “Somali Christians Must Be Slaughtered”
The Mogadishu based Somali fundamentalist group, Kulanka Culimada, accused Christian aid workers in Somalia of spreading Christianity in the coastal city of Merca, 100 km (60 miles) south of Mogadishu. Reuters reported on April 21 that the militant group said if the Christianization in Somalia does not stop, “the Somalia people have a right to jihad…the politically influential group based in the capital Mogadishu said in a statement issued on Tuesday.”1
Reuters said of Merca “The town has a history of violence involving aid workers. In February 2002, Verena Karrer, a 70-year-old Swiss humanitarian worker, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. The United Nations evacuated two U.N. security officers from Merca in September 2000 after they were attacked by armed Islamic fundamentalists.”2
A widely read Somali website, Hiiraan, posted April 20 a press release from the militant group signed by Sheikh Nur Barud, the vice chairman of the Kulanka Culimada. The Sheikh said in an edict “Somalis must come out on April 22 to protest against the Christianization in Somalia.”3 The Sheikh also accused Christian aid workers of “planting Somali Christians in the country.”
The Mogadishu based Qaran Press reported that the militant group held another press conference on April 15 which said in part “all Somali religious leaders must prevent churches from spreading in Somalia.”4
Sheikh Nur Barud who was the key figure in this press conference said “Some Somalis who claimed to be Christians went to attend the Somali reconciliation conference [in Nairobi]. These Somalis are apostates and they will be killed upon their return to Somalia.”
The fiery Kulanka Culimada was founded in February 1991. Most of the key leaders in this group are graduates from Islamic seminaries in Saudi Arabia.
A Somali reporter from Himilo online interviewed Sheik Nur Barud in November 2003. The Sheikh reiterated in this interview “all Somali Christians must be killed according to the Islamic law. A Muslim can never become a Christian but he can become an apostate. Such people do not have a place in Somalia and we will never recognize their existence and we will slaughter them”5 The Sheikh concluded his interview by saying that “Somalis are 100% Muslim and they will always remain so.”
The Somali church is one of the most persecuted churches in the entire world; over thirty Somali Christians and Western aid workers were martyred in Somalia by Islamic fundamentalists since 1994. The Somali church condemns this unprovoked murderous hatred.

How come that Islam is not saving our people from self-annihilation if it is a genuine faith? I am propagating a man made faith but the true message of the risen Lord who died for the sins of humankind.

All the world knows that any Somali by birth, converted to another religion is only because the following reasons:
1- Ignorance about the real Islam. this means that this person has no knowledge about Islam at all except seeing mosques and people praying.
2- Ignorance about the other religion. in which he will turn a blind eye to know its reality since the aim about converting is as in number 3.
3- They convert just because of gaining economical wealth. And this forces them not to look and search the truth about ISLAM and ANY - I mean- Any other religion.
4-Most of them are just failures and drug addicts who need some where to fulfill their drug and Alcohol addiction.
I would then advice those to repent to ALLAH, The ALMIGHTY that even CIISAA worshiped. He needs no one, but everyone needs him. He has no equivalence and he can take his abusers in less than a second. It is just because giving his creatures more time to think about what they do, that makes him not to take immediate action against them. no one knows when the time of death is so continue one more year and then repent will not benefit when the time comes tomorrow or after tomorrow. It is not only the old people that die, children, teens and middle ages also die. Please for your own sake, ask Allah his forgiveness and repent to him.

May Allah guides you to what is good for you, and us to fulfilling our duties towards spreading his truth.
Dear Christian donors whom may be flattered by some Somali hungry persons think about what you fund and its suitability, I can tell you the above clarification is correct. These guys are not real Christians but they use your money for their own enjoyment. And you too look for the truth and don't think by spreading the bibles (many un like bibles!) and trinity believe you are on the right path. God is higher than to die, integrate with humans, or need to make any kind of sexual relationship with anyone, or create a son for himself!. Glorified he than that most people say he is.
Jesus (IISAA) is our profit and we can not be Muslims with out believing his profit hood, he had miracles but Allah provided him with all, as he provided other profits with miracles. Jesus was created by GOD (ALLAH) as Adam and Eve were created by GOD without biological parents and this didn't make them Gods. Men invented the trinity and you know it, and Men have no power to dictate Allah (the real GOD)who is who and who deserves what. please search the truth from its real sources. read the Qur'an (Kuran)and Profit Mohamed's correct Sayings. you may be able to get some web sites useful to assist you on this

All human beings are born without religion.
We have been indoctrinated since birth about an arab religion called islam. Any Somali who has brains can deceide what religion to take.
It's very illogical and stupid to think Somali Christians are materialist. Christianity gives no monitary gains, I am poor as all Somalis are. I work to make means, and I worship Jesus al Masix as my savior. Jesus is alive sitted in the heaven as your koran acknowledges and your soo called prophet is dead and is dust. Who would you trust in, a dead prophet or Jesus, Kalima tu'lah, Al Kamil and the true one who will return to Judge and keep His promise to the Church. Jesus said I will come to take you with me.
