The site linked to in the article is real. Its authors are well-known Islamic zealots in Britain. You will probably be shocked, as I was, when you realize people like this are operating freely in the West, twisting our own freedoms against us in global intellectual jihad.

The solution? Given that I advocate non-violence and free speech, the Islamic threat has given me quite a conundrum to work out. In the end, I feel that speech inciting religiously-motivated violence, hatred, or other despicable practices falls outside the bounds of protected speech, especially when these jihadis openly suggest treason against their host countries.

No doubt my assessment of the situation would not be acceptable to many free-speech libertarians, but then, just letting things be is not acceptable either. Expecting our enlightened Western laws to apply to an group with no set of humanistic morals is naive and dangerous.

I have long thought that, as an American, the Muslim view is diametrically opposed to our Constitution.

We know it is NOT a real religion, it is an ideology. I think declaring it illegal and wiping it out is the only smart choice. NOTE: I mean wiping out their religion, not the people.

I have long KNOWN that Islam is a totalitarian ideology, more insidious and comprehensive than that of Stalin. These people have had centuries to formulate a battle plan to Islamize the West. They have slowly and methodically infiltrated, raising their hands, begging for refuge, or extending their hands in friendship, all the while they practiced deception. By studying and infiltrating our governmental institutions, our institutions of higher learning, etc., they are well placed to advance on the Constitution and the fragile and wonderous concept of America.

As a Muslim American, I have to say that it is about time that fundamentalist Muslims stop using religion to further their prejudicial hatred or their political goals. Unfortunately, I don't think that there are many groups that we (meaning 'normal' Muslims) can join, or talks that we can go to, to discuss what 'to do'. I guess I just wanted to say - please don't lose faith. There are some of us (many of us) out there that are outraged that our religion is terrorized every time there is a bombing or a hateful speech. There are many of us who love to learn about other religions and cultures and embrace them - my best friend is Jewish, my boyfriend is Jewish, my roommate is Catholic. I don't think there is honestly any religion out there, Islam included, that doesn't believe that God wants people to respect other people. Many of these so-called Imams (Muslim preachers) are not truly educated and don't know much about the Qu'ran or its real teachings. I understand why someone posted that Islam should be illegal - but I just have to say that other Americans need to remember that there is an American Muslim community that is just as outraged as all other Americans are, if not more. I am sorry if that comminunity does not speak out more or denounce the fundamentalists more, but please don't write off the entire group of people.

My question are to "Anonymous" who has so many non-Muslim friends. 1) Why don't you all throw out those Immams that aren't qualified and condemn them for their hateful and erroneous teachings. 2) Why don't we were difinitive condemnation of hate and terrorism from Muslims?
