Shimon Peres has one up on Jack Straw when it comes to clear insight and common sense. From Maariv International:
Opposition and Labor Chairman Shimon Peres, who is currently in Poland, reacted positively to the assassination of Hamas leader Rantisi. “Whoever deals with murder pays the price”, he said.

Posted by: anonymous at April 17, 2004 9:51 PMWally Wahhabi's questionnaire for dhimmi recruitment:
ARE YOU A CITIZEN OF THE WORLD?
TEST YOUR MORALITY QUOTIENT!
1. strongly disagree
2. disagree
3. undecided
4. agree
5. strongly agree
1) Christians fundamentalists who deny a woman’s right to an abortion are morally equivalent to Muslim fundamentalists who deny a woman’s right to show her face in public.
2) Christian fundamentalists who denounce homosexuality are morally equivalent to Muslim fundamentalists who condone the extermination of Jews.
3) Targeted killing of Hamas leaders is morally equivalent to suicide bombing in a crowded marketplace.
4) The troops of Hizbolla are morally equivalent to the minutemen who fought in the American Revolution.
5) Muhammad’s decree against the killing of women and children during caravan raids demonstrates the same level of compassion as Jesus’ invocation to love one’s enemies.
6) Christian fundamentalists who describe Muhammad as a "terrorist" are morally equivalent to Muslim fundamentalists who describe Christians and Jews as "descendents of apes and pigs."
7) Those who inflame Muslim sensibilities are just as guilty of terrorism as Muslim terrorists.
8) Reports about terrorism committed by Muslims should always be balanced with reports about terrorism committed by non-Muslims.
9) 200 years of crusade (1096-1291) are just as significant as 1000 years of expansive jihad (649-1683).
10) One religion is as good as any other.
Score guidelines:
10 - Hopelessly narrow-minded
11 – 19 -You need to spend more time watching NOW with Bill Moyers
20 – 39 - You may qualify for a high level position in the E.U.
40 - 50 - You may qualify for a high level position in the U.N.
thanks, milan. brilliant. incidentally, my score was 11 -- i mean, 10. ;-)
Posted by: ted at April 18, 2004 1:47 PMThanks Ted. The idea came to me as an epiphany last week after a recent episode of NOW with Bill Moyers. Karen Armstrong was the special guest. You can imagine the rest...
Posted by: Milan at April 18, 2004 3:11 PMyeah, but the imagination is painful. i sometimes watch moyers for the same reasons i monitor the editorial pages of the n.y. & l.a. times -- to stay informed of left-wing sophistry masquerading as superior morality. after a while, one can pay attention to it less and less due to its tired similarity to a broken record.
