Olivier Guitta in FrontPage (thanks to EPG) on the ticking time bomb in France:
France is home to the largest Muslim community in Europe -- estimated between 5 and 8 million, roughly over 10 percent of France’s total population. In the past few years, the radical element of these French citizens has grown quickly, and is quietly overpowering more moderate Muslim voices. Many French Muslims idolize Osama bin Laden and consider the destruction of synagogues and assault of Jews to be justified retribution. These worrisome phenomena are caused by a number of things: increasing influence of radical imams in French mosques, the penetration of Saudi Wahhabism and extremist satellite networks spreading their propaganda.I recently discussed these issues with Jean Francois Cope, spokesman of the French government, during a press conference in Washington DC. First, I asked Mr. Cope: knowing that 91 percent of the imams preaching in France are foreigners and most of them are illegal immigrants, does it not make sense to expel them, particularly those preaching hatred?
He answered that France cannot just expel them because these hate-mongering imams have been around for a while, as has their families. It would not be proper. ...
From Mr. Cope's position, it appears France is far less than enthusiastic about truly aiding the War on Terror. The country is starting to act against radicalism on a very limited basis when it has no choice, adopting half-measures that serve to quiet critics. There are many more imams to arrest. The government should forbid the funding of French Muslim organizations/mosques by Saudi Arabia. And finally, it should ban TV channels such as Al-Manar, which are only spreading violence and hate against the West. But these kinds of agressive tactics just aren't part of France's program to defeat radical islam. As a result, anti-Semitism and anti-American sentiment continue to increase in the land of our great “ally.”

There is already a quiet war going on in French streets:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/05/13/60minutes/main617270.shtml
"There was a trial in Lille where a 13-year-old girl was gang raped by 80 men. "A young woman was raped in a school. Of course, everybody knew, but they're so afraid of these young men that they prefer to close their eyes. That's the price of peace in the ghettos." Eighteen teenagers were convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl over a two-month period. But what really shocked France was how the mothers of those boys reacted. "You call this justice, seven years in prison for some oral sex," says one mother. "It's the girl who should be behind bars."

Slow suicide. Must the rest of the EU -- especially the new members that have a better sense of things, both from their experience with Soviet Russia and, in many cases, directly with Islam in a more distant period -- suffer because the French ruling class remains wilfully blind, because it cannot admit, to itself or to those whose duty it is to protect, what it has allowed to happen over the past several decades?
After World War II, the American government found people in Western Europe who, whether of right or non-Communist left, were able to undermine the power of the Communists in France, Italy, and elsewhere. Surely it is not beyond the wit of the American government today to recognize what is happening in Western Europe, and to do the same -- rally the forces that recognize the demographic conquest that is threatened. Indeead, the intellectual conquest has already begun, through the many formal and informal agreements between the EU and the Arab states (detailed in Bat Ye'or's forthcoming "Eurabia," by appealing to such pre-existing mental conditions as anti-Americanism and antisemitism (both sturdy and eternal impulses, but also impulses that can be recognized, labelled, mocked, isolated, and their bearers subject to intense scrutiny. Just as it would have been sensible before and during the war against the Nazis, to identify those exhibiting signs of the pathological condition of antisemitism, because such people often were unwilling to recognize a threat from Hitler, because that would be to help, even as unintended beneficiaries, "the Jews."
Similarly, those who are antisemites, or the even larger group of Europeans, especially the French, who seem consumed with a kind of primitive and silly anti-Americanism (and both the United States, and Israel, are steadily vilified by a stillicide of misinformation, loaded language, palpable sneers in the voices of the speakerines and anchormen, throughout such media as the BBC, the Guardian and the Independent as well as much of the English tabloid press, Canal Cinq, Agence France-Presse, Le Monde. The American government has to study this problem, and to begin to plan ways both to support the disheartened, nearly voiceless center, especially in France, who detest what is happening through the Muslim invasion of their country, but feel helpless as long as the only seeming spokesmen for them remain the unacceptable Le Pen (who is, of course, both anti-American -- he was a great supporter of Saddam Hussein -- and an antisemite).
France's elite, its ruling class that has gone through the grands ecoles, where each thinks what one another thinks -- the perfect example of this class is not the crook Chirac but the preening poseur Dominique de Villepin, who likes to think he "understands" the Arab world because he was born in Morocco and spent a few years of his infancy there -- has to be displaced, its folly exposed, the fury of the population (outside the official circles of Paris, one would hardly find a single Frenchman, or Frenchwoman, not fed up with the Muslim invasion -- but again, people look at each other with wild surmises, speak in private, and in public -- well, some things are just not said.
That is exactly the problem. Those things that "are just not said" need to be said. The real situation has to be grasped. The danger, not only in the possible transformation of France, and then Italy, and then Holland, is really that Western civilization will be taken over, through demographic conquest alone, and that the West, schooled to believe that it must not say anything about Islam, that it must keep parroting nonsense about the tenets of the religion (and the worst offenders are those who know absolutely nothing -- who have read neither Qur'an nor hadith nor sira -- people of the comic caliber of Thomas Friedman, who write with great confidence about the Middle East without knowing anything about the main subject, the o'erweening subject, that which determines almost everything that has happened in that region for the past 1350 years -- Islam.

Calling people names does not work, either. Try again? As more people find out about Islam and as more terrorism is committed, the West will strike with a ferocity not seen in your lifetime. Think about it. Do you think Ashcroft is scary? Do you think Bush is a crusader? Do you find Blair too militaristic? You don't have a clue what's en route if you continue jihad. *laughs* You really have no clue at all.
I doubt that many of the posters here (if any) are interested in a Jewish whorehouse. But when all else fails, try lobbing sophmoric insults at people. That's about the level of discourse reached by the terror apologists on here, so at least you're in good company Saladin. Why is it that Islam attracts the most lunatic, hateful, mindless bunch of folks? And I notice that you could not reply to any of my not-so-subtle accusations above. Why am I not suprised?

Posted by: path at June 15, 2004 3:42 PMAhead of Iraq Deployment, 37 Korean Troops Convert to Islam
"I became a Muslim because I felt Islam was more humanistic and peaceful than other religions. And if you can religiously connect with the locals, I think it could be a big help in carrying out our peace reconstruction mission." So said on Friday those Korean soldiers who converted to Islam ahead of their late July deployment to the Kurdish city of Irbil in northern Iraq.
At noon Friday, 37 members of the Iraq-bound "Zaitun Unit," including Lieutenant Son Hyeon-ju of the Special Forces 11th Brigade, made their way to a mosque in Hannam-dong, Seoul and held a conversion ceremony.
The soldiers, who cleansed their entire bodies in accordance with Islamic tradition, made their conversion during the Friday group prayers at the mosque, with the assistance of the "imam," or prayer leader.
With the exception of the imam, all the Muslims and the Korean soldiers stood in a straight line to symbolize how all are equal before God and took a profession on faith.
They had memorized the Arabic confession, " Ashadu an La ilaha il Allah, Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Allah," which means, "I testify that there is no god but God (Arabic: Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger of God."
Moreover, as the faithful face the "Kaaba," the Islamic holy place in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, all Muslims confirm that they are brothers.
For those Korean soldiers who entered the Islamic faith, recent chances provided by the Zaitun Unit to come into contact with Islam proved decisive.
Taking into consideration the fact that most of the inhabitants of Irbil are Muslims, the unit sent its unreligious members to the Hannam-dong mosque so that they could come to understand Islam. Some of those who participated in the program were entranced by Islam and decided to convert.
A unit official said the soldiers were inspired by how important religious homogeneity was considered in the Muslim World; if you share religion, you are treated not as a foreigner, but as a local, and Muslims do not attack Muslim women even in war.
Zaitun Unit Corporal Paek Seong-uk (22) of the Army's 11th Division said, "I majored in Arabic in college and upon coming across the Quran, I had much interest in Islam, and I made up my mind to become a Muslim during this religious experience period [provided by the Zaitun Unit]."
He expressed his aspirations. "If we are sent to Iraq, I want to participate in religious ceremonies with the locals so that they can feel brotherly love and convince them that the Korean troops are not an army of occupation but a force deployed to provide humanitarian support."

Hilary Saunders used to think that Islam was a relic from the dark ages. Now she has converted. Here she explains why
Thursday June 20, 2002
The Guardian - U.K.
The most significant thing I have ever done was in fact incredibly simple. A little over four weeks ago, in front of two witnesses, I recited a simple declaration, the shahada. "I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and I bear witness that Mohammed is His messenger," I said; and from that moment, I was a Muslim.
Until the very second that I made my declaration, I wasn't entirely convinced that it was what I wanted to do. Would I wake up one day and want to change my mind? Would I feel like I had made a huge mistake? But already I feel as if my life has been transformed. I don't know how to describe it, but the moment I said those words, my heart filled with joy and love and it took about four days for me to come back down off the ceiling. I would almost describe it as "coming out", because a part of me that has been important, but always very private, is now out in the open.
The ritual of my conversion may have taken only minutes, but it was the culmination of a lifetime's quest. My parents are both agnostic - they don't believe in God, and raised me and my two sisters without any faith, so that we could make up our own minds when we were adults. As a child, I suppose I wanted to please my father, and so tried to mirror his views. But I have always been very conscious that I was looking for something, and I could never quite put my finger on what that was. In my darkest moments I have often felt like a ship adrift at sea, not knowing where to dock.
When I was at college I started investigating faith: I got interested in a philosophical system called the Work, which actually took a lot from Islam, although I didn't know it at the time. I was also investigating various new-age philosophies, practising Buddhist meditation, and reading a lot of alternative self-help books.
I have had some problematic relationships with men in the past, and after splitting up with one boyfriend I read Women Who Love Too Much, by Robin Norwood. I had read it before and had always thought it was for women who were overly attached to men who beat them up. But after this reading I thought: I am one of these women, and I want to do whatever the book suggests. It advised developing your spiritual life, learning to be more self-centred, and perhaps getting counselling. That was a significant turning point. I was also, at that stage, practising reiki, which is similarly concerned with channelling unconditional love. I was wrestling with the concept of the divine, trying to find out where I belonged spiritually. I was definitely a searcher.
And then, suddenly, I found myself going out with a Muslim guy. I hadn't set out to date a Muslim - ironically, in fact, it was the result of a drunken night out (I would describe him as a practising Muslim, but one who made mistakes along the way!). At that stage I was ignorant about Islam. I hadn't had any Muslim friends when I was growing up, and my assumptions about the faith were almost all negative. I thought it old-fashioned, a relic from the dark ages, and one that was oppressive and authoritarian with regard to women.
My sense that the religion was anti-women was one of the major sticking points. I wanted my partner to justify some of the doctrines that I saw as particularly anti-feminist. I went through all the usual western arguments, citing how the religion was about men putting women down. How come Islam permitted men to have four wives?
If I'm honest, it was talking about faith that kept us together for four years. He would try to answer my questions as best he could, and refer me to the Koran and the examples from the life of the Prophet. I started to read, and gradually my questions were answered, until I realised that a lot of my preconceptions were basically wrong. In knowing only a little - like the bare fact that a man can have four wives - I had jumped to the wrong conclusion.
One of the things I came to realise was that, in Islam, multiple marriages are not promoted, they are tolerated. Sometimes they are a necessity. But there are safeguards: before a man can take a second wife, the first wife has to agree to it and be happy, and both the wives have to be treated equally. If a man is married and for some reason his wife cannot conceive, he can take a second wife with her agreement. (On the other hand, if a woman's husband is not able to get her pregnant, then she can get a divorce.) This seems to me better than the western way, in which he might get divorced, leaving the first wife without any support. This doctrine is actually for the protection of women. It is not about men going out collecting trophies.
This was the kind of question I would raise, and on each I would get to the point where I couldn't argue any more. Why did women need the protection of men - why wasn't it possible for a woman to have several partners? A woman could not have four husbands, I realised, because it would be impossible to know who was the father of her children, and the fathers might argue over who should support the child. I realise that Islam made so much sense.
A couple of months ago, I split up with my partner, and went on holiday to Jordan. It was there that I finally decided that I wanted to convert. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but somehow the penny dropped. It is such a beautiful, amazing place to be; just watching how people interacted with each other, and the call to prayer - it really moved me. So when I came back, I enrolled on a three-day course at Central mosque in Regent's Park, north London. At the end of the three days I decided it was the right time to make my declaration.
I made a number of good friends on the course; indeed, most of the Muslims I know well are converts. More people convert into Islam than you might think - approximately 10,000 of Britain's 1.8m Muslims are white or African-Caribbean converts. One of the problems for us is that, since we haven't grown up in Muslim communities, forming relationships can be difficult. In Islam you do not date - you don't have boyfriends or girlfriends and move on after a few years. Instead, someone from your extended family, who knows you from childhood and who knows Joe Bloggs down the road from childhood, will think: those two would really get on. They help you to find the right person so that you can enjoy a happy marriage.
I can see that there are practical problems in how this might work for me. But I am hugely excited about getting married and I believe that I will find, inshallah, a nice husband. I have wrestled with the idea of whether I could share my husband with another woman - I have always thought that I was far too jealous and insecure to be able to cope with that. But one day I woke up and it dawned on me: the women who are in multiple marriages must feel so loved and cherished - by their husbands, but also by God - to be able to cope. I am aware, however, that it is possible that some marriages might be unhappy - we are fallible human beings, after all.
Since my conversion, I have chosen to abide by the Islamic code of dress and wear the hijab. The hijab is about modesty, not showing off, not trying to attract the opposite sex, and avoiding causing envy. Islam advises both sexes, not just women, to dress modestly.
I felt quite nervous about putting it on at first, wondering what people would think. But then I told myself that I had made a commitment and that this was the public sign of it. I feel a lot safer now that I am wearing it; I have more self-respect. Now I know where I belong.

The French have ignired the antisemitism

there, cracking down on the 6 million Muslims that

give fuel the the hateful sermons in the Mosque's

Sadly,in Canada our Government has now cuddled up the the pro-AL Qaeda sect of Muslims
now that the Jewish population has been overtaken by the peace-loving Islamists.
The firebombings and vandalism against Jews

a Anti-Jew teaching in Canada and forcing Jews out just as Muslims are doing in France.
When France is run by a Islamic Party that
harbours terrorists and promotes Jihad,I say
that this time we should wait for the enemy

The fact that France didn't care about the abuse towards women in Iraq I think they'll adapt very quickly to the Islamic Government that's

Posted by: Mullah Mo at June 16, 2004 9:41 AM"My View of Islam and Why I Left It
Thu, 8 Feb 2001
My reason for leaving Islam is very simple. I simply read the Quran. For me it was as easy as just reading the Quran and using a little reason, logic, and thinking.
I thought the story of the Noah's Ark that is recorded in the Quran is one of the most bizarre stories I have ever heard. Apparently the world was run over by water and the only survivors were the people who had followed Noah. Noah apparently had the ability to communicate with animals to ask them to come aboard the ship, so that their species do not extinct.
Back then the early Arabs looked around themselves and they saw a few camels and a couple of dogs and they thought that these are all the animals in the world. They were unaware of the fact that there are over a billions species in the world and some that haven't even been discovered yet. What about the animals that did not live in Arabia? Did Noah fly on a winged horse like Muhammad, to go and collect the animals from all around the world? What about the species that we are unable to see without a microscope? How did Noah collect them? Most importantly in the research of earth-biology we have discovered all the facts about the earth and its past. Can anyone find in any book of earth-biology any evidence that proves that the earth was once over taken by water?
This was enough for me to realize that the Quran is just a book of fables.
People will show you facts that according to the Quran the sun sets in a pond, or that mountains are pegs that Allah installed on the earth to keep it from moving and I can go on and on, but the only flaw of the Quran is not what is in it. The biggest flaw of the Quran is what is not in it. There are many many crimes a person can commit, yet the Quran only mentions the punishments for only a mere 3 or 4 crimes. I was astonished at the fact that the Quran mentions nothing about the punishment for rape. The word rape is not even mentioned once in the Quran as if it is not worth bringing it up. Apparently Allah thought that it is worthwhile to repeat praying and paying alms to his prophet, over 1000 times but rape is not worth mentioning. When you read the Hadithes about the obvious rape of Safiyah the Jewish women by Muhammad and then you back it up with the verse (Q. 4:24) and you also realize that this is not considered a crime according to the Quran, it all starts to fold together and make sense.
There are an unlimited number of acts of kindness that we can use to help each other and make this world a better place for everyone, yet you do not see these in the Quran. How can the Quran be a perfect guidance from god when it lacks so many important issues?
What I have done for the last six months on the internet is debate with Muslims and try to show them the light of truth.
When you debate with a Muslim and they don't know what to say they always say "god is the author of the Quran because that's what it says in the Quran." It is absurd to prove something by itself. Sometimes when I hear these responses I feel like giving up on exposing the truth about Islam and religion, but then I realize that I would be abandoning my dear friends like Dr. Ali Sina and the many people who have given their lives for the truth.

Hey Saladin,
The difference between those 37 Korean converts and the apostates on the link below is that these apostates were already Muslims.
It has been said, “no one knows about Islam more then the Apostates of Islam”.
If I were you, I wouldn’t be bragging about the 37 converts who are totally ignorant about Islam.
I would go with more then 10,0000 apostates on this website who left Islam because they saw its ugly face then the 37 ignormous Koreans converts, anytime of the day.
Now, go home like a good little boy and come up with a better excuse on why you want to be a SHEEP. OK?

p.s. Where is the addresses of you and your jihadis?
*laughs*
"One of the things I came to realise was that, in Islam, multiple marriages are not promoted, they are tolerated. Sometimes they are a necessity."
Yes. It is necessary to have four women married to you at once. Why would that be? Could it be that the Koran's vision of men as animals in heat? That might explain the 72 virgins upon death (each 180 feet tall) and the perfect boys too.
Islam is a joke.

180 feet tall...LOL...wow ummmm physically thats interesting...ok the images are making me crack up..the little 5'6" muslim guy with the ummm "little mohammud" trying to...LOL..I cant go on...hope mohammud thought of providing these 180 foot gals with adult toy shops...they're gonna need them.

Posted by: kepha at June 16, 2004 10:42 PMSaladin, conversion's a two-way street. Also, the fact that Muslims have to threaten their apostates with death tells me that Islam doesn't have an argument when it claims to continue the faith of Abraham, friend of God.
Maybe it's propaganda, but I've heard from Christian missionaries in parts of sub-Saharan Africa that they've been swamped by friendly inquiries from Muslims--including requests for baptism--in the wake of 9/11 (another reason why I'm disinclined to write off all Muslims as hopelessly sunk in bigotry).
In America, a number of Iranian and Afghan immigrants have also become Evangelical Christians--and they even have a site on the net, listing churches catering to Farsi-speakers in a number of American cities. God bless them!
Most Arab-Americans are members of Eastern Christian communions or Uniate Catholics--thanks to the heavy-handed methods of Muslim governments. The number of Muslim Arab-Americans is roughly equal to the number of Protestant Christian Arab-Americans (it was reported in _Time_ a few years back)--and some of these Arab-American Protestants have names like Hassan, Rashid, and Abdallah rather than Budros or Antun. For perfectly understandable reasons, a lot of Roman Catholic and Protestant Arab-Americans are identifiable only by family name after a few generations.
A Libyan Muslim cleric is also on the web warning that Africa could be lost to Islam.
Watch out, Christian North America! Your grandchildren who get up to memorize their Bible leassons before the rest of the congregation will have dark hair and won't sunburn easily!
Posted by: kepha at June 16, 2004 11:03 PMAlso, Christian America, your daughters-in-law who will zealously teach your grandchildren the Westminster Shorter Catechism and King James Bible will be named Ayesha and Fatima!
And your sons-in-law with whom you share a pew and pray on Sunday (after barbecuing pork and drinking beer with them on Saturday),will be named Muhammad and Hamza!
Get ready to build bigger churches!
Posted by: kepha at June 16, 2004 11:14 PMI think what is being missed by Saladin is the part where the Koreans "converted" in order to insure the success of their mission. Actually, a brilliant plan. Maybe we sould have the US soldiers "convert" while they are on a mission. You think they'd like us better? NOT!
In terms of the woman you were speaking of, she obviously read too many romance books about some "sheikh" taking her away to the casbah and making her his "love slave".
The sad fact is, after she married her muslim boyfriend and traveled with him back to his native country, she probably found out very quickly that her "Americanized" Islam was a far cry from the oppression she would suffer in a true "Islamic" state.
After giving birth, she probably had second thoughts about staying in said country and raising her child there (if she had any brains), whence she found that she could divorce her husband (or vis-a-versa) but she couldn't leave with her child.
And because she was a "dhimmi" woman, she couldn't get a job, have her own money and even the US consulate would only help HER leave the country. They will not interfere with domestic issues.
That serves her right. Poor child.
The only time Islam is taught as the "religion of peace", it's by the "silent majority" muslims who have turned a blind eye to their religious brothers true inten.
As for the dumbasses that converted to Islam in the US, they are part of the "why me?" crowd who got bamboozled by the presses propaganda that the reason "they hate us" is because of our foreign policies. That WE oppressed these poor people somehow. Again, they are fooled by the "white washed" version of Islam. If they actually had to live in an Islamist country, they would quickly be wondering "WHY ME" and trying to figure out how to get out and come to the free world like the 50k immigrants from the ME in 2003.
These folks obviously cannot read or pay no attention to the little jihadis manifesto that states they want to create the 2nd Ottoman Empire.
As this website points out, there are always a bunch of dhimmis waiting to be led to slaughter.
