85 Boy Slaves Liberated in Sudan

A press release from Christian Solidarity International (thanks to Keith Roderick):

85 Black Sudanese boy slaves were freed from Arab masters last month through the mediation of the Arab-Dinka Peace Committee at Warawar, Southern Sudan.

The freed slaves were documented last week by an international team of researchers sponsored by CSI.

The freed slave boys were among the tens of thousands of Black women and children who had been enslaved by Sudanese government-sponsored militias during two decades of civil war. All of the boys reported that they were forced to work without pay, and were frequently beaten and subjected to racial insults. Over 80% of the boys reported that they had been forced to practice Islam against their will, while 18% claimed they had been raped by their masters or by their masters_ friends and relatives. One 14-year-old boy, Mawien Garang, explained that his master forced him to serve another man as a male prostitute. 65% of the slaves reported that they had witnessed the execution of other Black Africans during slave raids or while in captivity.

The Islamist Government of Sudan has long sponsored slave raiding in Southern Sudan as an instrument of a declared jihad against the Black, non-Muslim communities that have resisted the imposition of Arab-dominated, Islamic rule. As a result of a U.S. supported cease-fire in Southern Sudan, the Khartoum government has recently suspended slave raiding there. But it has revived the practice against the Black African tribes of Darfur in western Sudan.

This year, UN sources have documented the extensive "abduction" and rape of Black women and children in Darfur by the armed forces of the Sudanese government. "Abduction" is the euphemism used by UN agencies as coded language for the enslavement of Black citizens of Sudan.

Speaking to CSI's Dr. John Eibner last week, a 30 year-old displaced mother from Darfur, Sennah Abdelhamid, expressed the fear that her four missing children had been enslaved by Arab militiamen, noting that she had seen enslaved children from her Black tribe serving Arab masters in cattle camps.

Since the outbreak of civil war in 1983, the Government of Sudan has implemented genocidal policies against Black African tribes, resulting in the death of over two million civilians, the displacement of over five million and the enslavement of tens of thousands of women and children.

CSI is currently campaigning for the U.S. Department of State to establish a Task Force to Monitor the Eradication of Slavery in Sudan, and for the U.S. to act on the 2002 declaration by President Bush, Sen. John Kerry and both Houses of Congress that the Government of Sudan is a perpetrator of acts of "genocide", including "slavery". (Sudan Peace Act, 2002)

Slavery is a "crime against humanity", according to international law.

CSI is a co-founder of the Sudan Campaign, which is coordinating daily STOP the GENOCIDE and FREE the SLAVES demonstrations at the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, D.C.

While this is slightly off topic, I have a personal anecdote: I know of a case where a Filipina woman was lured to Egypt with the promise of marriage to an Egyptian man. Instead, upon arrival, she was imprisoned and sold to a Saudi Arabian man. Fortunately, she was able to escape while in Saudi Arabia and return home to the Phillipines. I don't know how many other cases there are similar to that, but it shows that the Islamic slave net extends to many corners of the globe and uses many approaches. I can only applaud the Church for warning Christian women to avoid marrying Moslem men. Moreover, all people who love freedom should warn against association with Moslems lest something like that happen to their friends and family.

This is a new low for anti-Islamic propaganda. Apparently we are to believe that, out of the goodness of their hearts, a militant Christian organization has purchased the freedom of Christians who had been enslaved by Muslims in the Sudan. Tell me, how did these noble Christians accomplish their "humanitarian" efforts without themselves being enslaved?

The charges include "forcing" the "slaves" to work without pay. Clearly those "slaves" were fed, clothed, and cared for sufficiently that they were able to do productive work. Furthermore, it is claimed that they were captured in the course of participating in military operations against the Muslim forces. Enslaving such captives is a perfectly legitimate action, if indeed it happened at all. It seems more likely that the Christian organization was cheated out of their money by the supposed "slaves" and their friends.

Reza- see the attached. Run a google on "slaves in sudan" of course, Google is part of the conspiracy, isn't it?

Even though you can't access it anymore, I'll still point out that Reza identifies herself in her email address as "rezareza666". Puts her comments in perspective, doesn't it?

Slightly off the point, but a very good article here:

Reza states;

"Clearly those "slaves" were fed, clothed, and cared for sufficiently that they were able to do productive work."

This is a perfect description of dhimmitude, what you get when you pay the jizya tax -- you "get" to serve the almighty superior Muslim, should you be allowed to live.

Only an inferior, insecure, self doubting and paranoid people stuck in a perpetual adolescent 'group think' would rationalize this kind of behavior.

Reza, I've seen your house of worship...it's the little wooden hut in the woods with a sliver of a moon carved in the door...

I've sure Reza can explain the homosexual-pedophilic desires of those Arab masters as well.

Just following in Muhammads footsteps I suppose.

Folks,

'Reza' quotes the Koran to make her point with absolute clarity:

"Enslaving such captives is a perfectly legitimate action"

What could anyone add beyond that?

Posted by: Laocoon [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2004 3:18 PM

Reza the Islamofacist is hilarious, and thick as lard. "Enslaving such captives is a perfectly legitimate action". I like how she describes Christian Solidarity International as a "militant Christian organisation", which is laughable.

She doesn't seem to believe that Christians can be humanitarians, which of course is total pap. Still cracks me up, actually - I'm going to share her posting with some friends of mine, they'll love it. Interestingly, her ID reads as "Rezaresa666", which I must assume is some kind of insult on her part, or sheer religious bigotry against Christians.

Come on, Reza, surely you must have some comment? Can't be that scared as to not write me back can you? Not after what I did to Ahmad over at jamaat.net's forum, eh? Heh, I guess I can't blame you for being scared.

These noble people (Reza somehow thinks nobility is some kind of negative thing, which is unsurprising actually) didn't get enslaved, Reza, because people in international bodies such as the UN tend to watch over those engaged in humanitatian efforts. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have been.

The best part about propagandists like Reza is that they tend to be on the edge of disbelief. They've seen through to the flaws of their religion and, terrified, think that by being more rabid than the typical example they can convince others, and by this conversion shore up their own beliefs. Doesn't work. Goodnight, Reza. Won't be long now. I give it five years, tops. =)

Geoff

PS: You know, I was going to give your racist friend Ahmad a break, kinda got tired of beating him down on forum.jamaat.net. Truthfully, I actually felt sorry for him. Don't know why. But not now. I suggest everyone go take a look, grab a reference each and start slamming the little punk down. I guarantee he'll crack on you, and when he does it's HILARIOUS.

I affirm there is no Allah and Mohammed was the Messenger of Bad Taste.

Geoff's calling 'Reza' an 'islamofascist' reminds me of a story told to me by a professor in college. He was old then, and long since retired.

I was talking to him about the barbarity I saw slowly growing around us, and my horror and confusion that no one seemed to care. He responded by telling me a story of his youth.

He was raised in a German-speaking family in the upper mid west. One day he was listening on the radio to a rebroadcast of one of Herr Hitler's speech. Hitler was *promising* to 'return slavery to Europe', to restore the legitimate social hierarchy among the peoples of Europe.

He was horrified. He wanted to scream. He wanted to run in the streets shouting the horrible news. Then he looked out the window and saw everyone just walking around as if nothing were happening. Then he realized that the news was out, and NOBODY CARED.

Not many years later, the National Socialist ideology was drowning Europe in blood.

Now ask me what I think of Reza's ilk, and what I fear it will take to stop them.

Posted by: Laocoon [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2004 4:52 PM

While living in Saudi Arabia for five years during the mid to late 1980s I had the occasion to meet a Sudanese gentleman who was himself a freed slave (1976). I can assure everyone that it's as real as it was 14 centuries ago. Any ideology that embraces it must be exterminated with as much vigour as we exterminated the scourge of small pox.

I've heard some people talking about establishing a "new detente" recently with islamofacism. This is something people should be talking about more in the US, UK and abroad. What exactly would the terms of such a detente be? What would it encompass (i.e. social, military or economic protection from islamofacist acts)? What would the considered responses be to acts of aggression by islamofacist nations or organisation? We should be getting out and discussing these things with the rest of society. Communist aggression was eventually smothered by a carefully considered policy of detente. Should the West be considering the same here?

Alternatively, is a more aggressive stance on the part of the West justified? Is a detente necessarily isolationist in outlook and therefore bad? Hulegu alludes to this above. Should we be actively attempting to free the developing world from islamofacism? (I'd argue that this is what Bush has been doing and that thus far, it seems to work all right, though there are kinks obviously.)

Reza
Question has to be asked if Muslims such as yourself belong to the Real World. This is 2004 and
Slavery was mean't to be ABOLISHED long ago.Presumably NOT in Muslim countries. You should be ASHAMED to believe that keeping SLAVES is okay. But then I forgot you are following a DEATH
Cult called ISLAM where you prostrate yourself BUMS UP at least five times a day in the hope
of finding favour with your terrifying, blood soaked idol and his equally psychopathic Murderer
Mohammed. I fear we will run out of patience with you and others of your ilk and BABY YOU AIN'T SEEN
NOTHING YET!

"Enslaving such captives is a perfectly legitimate action"...according to reza...

So does this mean we will all be able to own a muslim when they are taken captive for militant operations against the US? My sons will be thrilled, no more chores for them! LOL

"honey I have to run down to the auction and pick up a muslim"....I dont think there is even one
disgusting action that a muslim cannot justify, mohammad seems to have covered everything from farting to slavery...no need to do any thinking for yourself.

I have a wonderful proposal for all of you Christian humanitarians. Here is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your love for your enslaved co-religionists and to impress your hypocritical friends:

For an appropriate number of American dollars, I am willing to free all of my Christian slaves. In addition, arrangements can be made to ship them to the United States, where they can take up residence in your neighborhoods.

And that's not all! If you act today, I can arrange to give your names to some Nigerian friends who are currently involved in getting large sums of money out of blocked bank accounts in their homeland. Huge commissions can be yours! All that is necessary is that you demonstrate good faith, prove that you will believe any ridiculous story as long as it vilifies Muslims, and make available your bank account numbers.

Allahu akbar

Posted by: Reza [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2004 8:48 PM

Wonderful! and in order to make room for all the Christians that are coming over we will ship you at no cost on a leaky boat every muslim residing in the US.

Posted by: USAgirl [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2004 10:08 PM

All eight million Muslims in the US, USAgirl? How about the millions that you can't identify as Muslims? Some of them may be living next door to you, and there surely are some in your neighborhood.

Sleep well, the Muslims are awake.

Allahu akbar

Posted by: Reza [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2004 10:34 PM

LOL I just got the mental picture of 8 million muslims getting out a rowboat...like the clown cars at the circus....thanks for that!

I guess the ones that hide and dont get out on the boats are fair game for the muslim hunt that is coming after the next attack.

Posted by: USAgirl [TypeKey Profile Page] at July 17, 2004 10:56 PM

Oh reza,
just because you mohammedans are awake
doesn't mean you'll use your minds,
for your brains are stunted and stiff
from the words of the deluded prophet
that lit the fire of the desert tribes,
barbarians who desire power over all,
and think that slavery is the right
of the best of all peoples whose oil
will run out and whose nations will become
the fifth world, whose intermarriage
breeds genetic defects,
Are you awake wheb all the men sit
in cafes and sip tea
and smoke water pipes,
talking of the glorious past
and making up a vain glorious future,
while the women and slaves
do the work of the present.
Take heed, reza, slaves revolt,
with lightening bolt speed,
the world can change in an instant,
so stay alert.

Reza, Question: After the United States Air Force razes Mecca to the ground(ie. dasiy cutters, I hear they are quite effective) and then builds Amusement Parks, which direction will you and your fellow "Muzzies" face when you pray to Allah the "Demonic Rock God". Your grandchildern will be cleaning toilets at Disneyland in the Arabian Peninsula.

Sudan should've been partitioned into at least two states long ago. It would've saved the world a lot of heartbreak and misery. The reason for the ferocity of the world's longest-running armed conflict is simply that the Muslims can't see others as anything other than _abd_--slaves--who have no rights to liberty and security. It appears as well that Reza has admitted Islam's inability to live with any other culture or religion. This, coupled with Kristof's anti-Christian screed in the NY Times, suggests as well that the real source of Islam's strength is other people's weakness and inability to face facts.

Sudan is also a major reason why American foreign policy, that wishes guarantees for every border in place in 1945, no matter how untenable, needs a drastic revision. It would be better far to recognize that a number of states that we pretend to be "united" are in fact divided countries.

There is another side to this. Over three centuries ago, in the late 17th century, James Dalrymple, First Viscount Stair, wrote in his _Institutions of the Laws of Scotland_that laws governing "servitude" as he called it were largely a dead letter, since the class spoken of as "servants" in Scotland and England had become a species of free labor whose relationships with their masters were governed by contract (i.e., they could not be tracked down and beaten id they quit). Indeed, Stair observed, slavery (which he called "servitude" was a dying institution throughout the Christian world--except in Iberia, where there was much contact and conflict with Islam. Even then, it appeared that slavery is a feature of the "clash of civilizations"; and those Islamic states where it remains widespread tend to be geographically close to non-Muslim Africa (Sudan, Mauretania).

Further, it seems that Reza's post, if it truly represents the views of Muslims rather than an American college kid with a smattering of religious education, accepts that non-Muslims may legitimately be treated as playthings rather than persons. This is a far cry from the confession of a common humanity by Christianity (announced in Ac. 17 to the race-proud Athenians, who believed themselves born of the local soil).

It seems that rezareza666's has finally realized the spectacular failure of her pathetic attempts at da'wa and now just comes here to rant. How she has debased herself! How she has sunk to the level of the infidels, putting herself and her fellow cultists on the defensive!

McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants are found all over the Muslim world, including many in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia.

The cultural virus of Christendom has already fatally infected the defunct islamic empire at its very heart and soul. Jinns and the vanguard of shaytan now reign supreme and with impunity over the two holy cities.

Interesting,a so-called "religion of peace" affirms that slavery as acceptable treatment of disbelievers. It seems pretty clear that we should be prepsred to ban the distribution of the Koran because it is "hate literature". In Canada, we have pretty strong "hate literature" laws which are usually applied to the distribution of neo-Nazi propaganda. The more we learn about the outrageous statements made in the hate-filled document which is the Koran, the more difficult it will be for our governments to avoid taking action.
