In The Spectator, Anthony Browne cuts through the prevailing dhimmitude and obfuscation to point out what I have been pointing out for years now. (Thanks to all who sent me this link.)
A year ago I had lunch with an eminent figure who asked if I thought she was mad. ‘No,’ I said politely, while thinking, ‘Yup.’ She had said she thought there was a secret plot by Muslims to take over the West. I have never been into conspiracy theories, and this one was definitely of the little-green-men variety. It is the sort of thing BNP thugs claim to justify their racial hatred.Obviously, we all know about Osama bin Laden’s ambitions. And we are all aware of the loons of al-Muhajiroun waving placards saying ‘Islam is the future of Britain’. But these are all on the extremist fringe, representative of no one but themselves. Surely no one in Islam takes this sort of thing seriously? I started surfing the Islamic media.
Take Dr Al-Qaradawi, the controversial Egyptian imam who was recently fawned over by the Mayor of London even though he promotes the execution of homosexuals, the right of men to indulge in domestic violence, and the murder of innocent Jews. During the brouhaha it went unnoticed that he also wants to conquer Europe. Don’t take my word for it, just listen to him on his popular al-Jazeera TV show, Sharia and Life.
‘Islam will return to Europe. The conquest need not necessarily be by the sword. Perhaps we will conquer these lands without armies. We want an army of preachers and teachers who will present Islam in all languages and in all dialects,’ he broadcast in 1999, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute, which translates his programmes. On another programme he declared, ‘Europe will see that it suffers from a materialist culture, and it will seek a way out, it will seek a lifeboat. It will seek no life-saver but the message of Islam.’
Far from being on the fringe, his immensely popular programmes are watched by millions across the Middle East and Europe. The BBC cooed that he has ‘star’ status among the world’s Muslims.
Dr Al-Qaradawi, who is based in Qatar, is also the spiritual guide of the hardline Muslim Brotherhood, which is growing across Europe, and whose leader Muhammad Mahdi Othman ’Akef declared recently, ‘I have complete faith that Islam will invade Europe and America, because Islam has logic and a mission.’
In the most sacred mosque in Islam, Sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-Sudais of the Grand Mosque in Mecca uses his sermons to call for Jews to be ‘annihilated’ and to urge the overthrow of Western civilisation. ‘The most noble civilisation ever known to mankind is our Islamic civilisation. Today, Western civilisation is nothing more than the product of its encounter with our Islamic civilisation in Andalusia [mediaeval Spain]. The reason for [Western civilisation’s] bankruptcy is its reliance on the materialistic approach, and its detachment from religion and values. [This approach] has been one reason for the misery of the human race, for the proliferation of suicide, mental problems and for moral perversion. Only one nation is capable of resuscitating global civilisation, and that is the nation [of Islam].’
Al-Sudais is the highest imam appointed by our Saudi government ally, and his sermons are widely listened to across the Middle East. When he came to the UK in June to open the London Islamic Centre, thousands of British Muslims flocked to see him, our so-called race relations minister Fiona Mactaggart shared the platform, and Prince Charles sent a video message. He is probably the closest thing in Islam to the Pope, but I haven’t recently heard the Pope call for the overthrow of all other faiths....

German officials fear separate Muslim societies

According to the statements, people were being urged to wage a fight against disbelievers and scenes of violence were being shown to illustrate how this fight should be waged." Such efforts were being directed at children. Beyond its local significance, the case gives leading German domestic intelligence officials new reason to reflect on the role of mosques and Koran schools in Germany, and the possibility that dual societies are evolving within the country.

BOLLOCKS! Excuse strong language but am so annoyed
by these ridiculous assertions which are refuted by reputable historical sources. Also, many of the 'inventions' claimed by Arabs belong to those
cultures Islam conquered and plundered.About the only thing Arabs are good at is pretending to be
victims while oppressing others.

Terror suspect 'underwent bomb training in Pakistan'
The 17-year-old boy accused of preparing terrorist attacks in the Netherlands reportedly underwent paramilitary training in Pakistan and has been under surveillance by the Dutch secret service AIVD for 18 months. The Moroccan youth ? whose arrest at the end of June reportedly was a major factor leading to the Dutch terror alert issued earlier this month ? is suspected of having undergone training in the making of bombs and the use of heavy calibre weapons at a terrorist camp in Pakistan, newspaper De Telegraaf reported on Friday.

We can hope that Islam will reform itself, yet that is only a hope. Frankly, I think, it is incorrigible.
To protect ourselves we must choke off the flow of immigrants into the United States!
Europe is lost because of Islamic immigrants. Everything changed due to Islamic immigration: culture, media, politics... you name it.
Our ability to resist depends on fortifying our national life and stopping uncontrolled mass immigration.
Need I remind anyone here that many of the 911 hijackers had Visas!

Those elites in Western Europe who permitted virtually unhindered Muslim migration to Europe, without bothering to study, deeply, the tenets of Islam, and the clear demands, beginning with Sura 9:29 (and see all the commentaries on it, by every major classical Muslim scholar, and continuing to the 1985 statement of Al-Azhar University, a kind of compilation of all of the classical exegetes), that non-Muslims be dealt with ruthlessly and murderously, deserve to be treated as traitors to their own countries. But how, with so many people involved in what is politely called the "recycling" of petro-dollars, can this reckoning occur?
I do not know of a single French person, including those who would be horrified to find themselves voting for Le Pen or Bruno Megret, who would not wish to undo, if he or she could, the Muslim migration of the last 30 years. How did it happen?
One key can be found in the venality of the Jacques Chiracs of this world: people simply on the take, who did not care overmuch about the idea of the West, or of Western civilization, or who poohpoohed, and continue to do so, the "so-called" or soi-disant Muslim threat.
A second category consists of those who are self-assured poseurs, with fashionable attitudes about the great civilization of Islam, which they purport to understand. And if that "great civilization" happens to be, as well, a vehicle for making Europe stronger (the whole idiotic idea behind the idiotic Euro-Arab Dialogue -- for more details, see the forthcoming "Eurabia" by Bat Ye'or) so that it can fight its historic -- well, is it friend or is it enemy -- the United States (some of us, recalling American intervention in World War I, and World War II, and the Marshall Plan, and the organizing of resistance so that neither Communism, norStalin's Red Army, ever took over in Western Europe), and of the successful end to the Cold War, think we are entitled -- oh, aren't we demanding, we overbearing Americans, aren't we presumptuous -- to be seen as friends). These people, Dominique de Villepin being a classic and comic case, have allowed Islam into their lands, seemingly unaware of what that has done to increase the unpleasantness and danger and expense of daily life, an unpleasantness that extends to schoolrooms, to public transportation, to every major institution, to the freedom of France and that culture, once so amusing, of light-hearted frivolity, of Mistinguett and "Les Cingles du Music-Hall, 1934" with its hit song "Le guinguette a ferme ses volets." France now seems to be a country full of discontented and depressed people, discontented and depressed because what is really gnawing at them is something they are not able to openly express, and the idiotic, the Jean Daniels and Emmanuel Todds, with their anti-American viciousness, while they rule most of the media waves, do not express what people know to be the truth.
The third source of the problem are those common, pre-existing mental conditions of antisemitism and anti-Americanism. These both depend so little on any real knowledge, or intelligent understanding of the world, and reflect so much the private pathology of those who subscribe to these articles of faith, that the only thing to do is to expose and isolate those who carry either of these germs, and to try to quarantine them as best as possible. For the subscribers to these beliefs form the traitorous core, within the West, of those who are intent on our not recognizing, or doing anything about, the threat of demographic conquest from within, or indeed doing anything about the external threat, from the use of wealth, the use of propaganda, and the use of terrorism and other forms of "combat" (qital), to promote and extend the Jihad.
Still a fourth category consists of those who are simply too intimidated by false "scholars of Islam" (even a few Arabic names can be enough to shut people up -- what they need is self-assurance), the apologists who, either Muslims or their islamisant colleagues, who now control a goodly number of academic institutions and centers of influence. There is an Islamintern, just as there was once a Comintern -- and it has penetrated the bureacracy of the EU and the UN, the BBC and Le Monde, and a host of other important institutions. The 70-80 billion dollars that Saudi Arabia alone has spent on "propaganda fide" has been astounding, and dwarfts the comparatively trivial attempts, over 70 years, by the Soviet Union to spread its brand of Communism and, by extension, Soviet rule.
All four categories of those who have failed to understand, sometimes wilfully, the Islamic threat, need to be further elucidated. Those who belong to each group -- the last is the most understandable, and the only one where the inability to comprehend may be forgiven -- should be exposed, ridiculed, and put in Coventry, for as long as the Jihad lasts -- which is to say, forever.

Hugh, while I agree with everything you say (and I have learnt so much, so quickly thanks to your witty, informative posts) I really feel that Europe has been caught in a Left / Right pincer movement. That is, the Left encourage mass immigration because it makes them feel better about themselves and they'll always have a new underclass to try and indoctrinate; while the Right (in the shape of big business) encourage mass immigration because they want cheap labour and damn the social consequences. A huge mass of us Britons therefore had no champion when it came to stopping mass-immigration. The huge numbers of Pakistanis living in the North of England were bought over as a cheap alternative to the unionised native British workers in the textile industry. The Tories didn't stop it because it kept the British working class in their place, Labour didn't stop it for the same reason. Of course all the textile jobs have now gone to China and we're left with a fast-growing (average FIVE children per family) largely unemployed Muslim population that controls huge swathes of Northern England . Until there is someone who challenges the Left/Right obsession with allowing mass-immigration to keep British worker's wages low then we'll lose to the Muslims by being bred out of our own country.

I mean how is Islam an INDIGENOUS religion of Europe? Didn't Islam come from the Arabian Peninsular?

Another classic example of pro-Islamic bias from the BBC. On tonight's Newsnight Review four liberal windbags sat around and talked about two new documentaries. One was on Al-Jazeea (sp?) TV, the other an attack on Fox News Channel. Of course, all four thought that Al-Jazeea was simply wonderful and Fox was just right-wing rubbish. The irony was that all four windbags kept saying that Fox gave a bias twist to it's news reporting - how different from the completely balanced coverage of the BBC (sarcasm). Can we do nothing to stop the dhimmitude so rampant at the BBC ? I feel sick to my stomach that come January 2005 I have to give these anti-white, anti-Jewish, anti-American scumbags over one hundred pounds of my money just to get a TV licence.

I am as opposed to Islam as anyone, but let's stick to facts. Huge swathes of Northern England dominated by Pakistanis?! Note: not muslims - pakis - most of whom are muslims, but that isn't the real issue. This is why the BNP can oppose Islam and the Jews at the same time.

This gives us "free-to-air" television and radio WITHOUT advertisements - except the Beeb's own trailers. It also gives us the opportunity to produce programmes that are not dictated by car dealers or hamburger salesmen. Sometimes the opportunity is taken and you get the costume dramas or the wildlife programmes that everyone seems to like. We also get the adventurous comedies that are rewritten for US consumption and other drama that you never see. Your TV execs seem to think you won't understand them. Which sheds an interesting light on how patronising your media is to you!

I have my ups and downs. Today is a sort of an "up."
For so long, it seemed that no one in the public eye dared name Islam per se as the enemy. But just this morning, an early morning radio talk show host in my area was very loud and clear about Islam as the enemy, and he was just as PO'd as we are about the PC crowd's failure to recognize it.
Then, even better, this morning on Fox and Friends First, Cal Thomas had a one-minute talk in which this normally even-tempered person was as angry as I've ever seen him, and he was frustrated over the very same thing.
There are actually a few of our folks in the House and Senate who are well informed too.
We WILL make it; we ARE learning (thanks, Robert)! We will probably have to take it on the chin as least one more time, but even if these miserable scum killed 150,000,000 of us, there would be that many left, and the 150,000,000 of us who were left would get off our duffs and solve this problem immediately and permanently!
Anyone ever hear Victor Mordeccai (sp?) on the Michael Medved show? Verrry interestink! I shall buy his books.

Such a historic culture destroyed - perhaps beyond repair. How preferable would it have been if Islam had attacked with armies , and a latterday martel had sent them back to south mediteranean desserts. But alas, demographic invasion is not a two way process and Chirac. villepain and so many others are worthy of the Guilotine and even that would be shutting the gate after the horse has bolted.
And of course the scandal of the politicians who engaged in dialogue with the Islamists, without knowledge of the History of their aversaries.
Politicians who must have been guided by the polemic and dhimified texts of christian scholars , who genuflect before islam and revise history.
How masterful the french revisionist historians must be to fool even themselves ?
The art of French historical revisionism gave birth to Holocaust revisionism in the 50s and has spread like wildfire. These assassins of history are welcomed throughout the arab world where they are applauded and treated like kings today.
Such is the perfidity of some french intellectual and publishing houses such as "la vielle Taupe" which even today sprouts it's filth and islamic agendas.
Yet there are still honourable french intellectuals such as Vidal-Nacquet and Bernard Henri Levi who will not be bought for money or false academic glory.
Its interesting to note that the recent Chirac comment on Sharon's call for french jews to leave, was worded thus:
Sharon would not be welcomed in the European community (Not just France)
Chirac no doubt views himself as "the Emperor of the new Europe" but a roi soliel he will never be-more like a prince of darkness.

It must be a struggle for anyone trying to get out
of Islam -Death threat is very scary not to mention being ostracized by family and friends.
So if there is anyone out there who is intending to leave Islam or has managed to do so, would be very interested to hear how she/he managed to do this. Also, after many years of brainwashing and being threatened with hell fires etc what was it
that made them question this religion.
