From EveningNews24, with thanks to Susan:
Rev Alan Clifford, pastor of the Norwich Reformed Church, waded into the controversy surrounding anti-Muslim remarks made by the British National Party in an undercover BBC documentary....While trying to distance himself from the BNP, who he describes as "abhorrent", the Norwich evangelical pastor echoed its leader's views on Islam in a letter to the Evening News.
He stated: "However unpalatable or non-PC the truth is to many people today, we need to know the facts about Islam.
"While the racism of the BNP is abhorrent, Nick Griffin's recent Newsnight remarks regarding Islam are correct, when he said it was "a monster in our midst".
"The only antidote to this evil religion is the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ."
Dr Clifford today told the Evening News he stood by his decision to align his own views about the spread of Islam with those of the BNP.
"I'm quite clear to disassociate myself from the racism of the BNP. However, not every group wrong about one thing is wrong about everything," he said.
"The views about Islam made by Nick Griffin gained widespread publicity and I happen to believe what he said in this case was correct.
"Anyone who knows anything about the history of Islam knows it has devastated large parts of the world through the force of violence and the power of the sword."
Dr Clifford said Muslim leaders in Britain needed to do more to disassociate themselves from terrorism and parts of the Koran that could be used to incite violence.
"The more moderate followers of Islam need to be challenged that if they do settle in the West they need to do more to discard elements of the Koran that espouse violence. Terrorists are able to use parts of the Koran to justify their violence," he said.
Those who think that can not be happening or is not happening should read Qur'an 9:5, 9:29, 8:12, 8:39, 5:51, 48:39, 2:191, 98:6, etc. etc. etc., and the statements of Osama bin Laden and England's own Omar Bakri and Abu Hamza.
Of course, the PC police are out for Dr. Clifford:
Anne Matin, director of Norwich and Norfolk Racial Equality Council, condemned Dr Clifford's remarks.She said: "Is he supposed to be a Christian? What he is saying is incitement to racial hatred and it will have a significant effect on ethnic minorities because they are more likely to be followers of Islam."
Now wait a minute. Clifford is inciting racial hatred by pointing out that moderate Muslims need to do more to renounce terrorism, and that terrorists use the Qur'an to justify their actions. But what about that is false? And what did Anne Matin have to say to Omar Bakri and Abu Hamza? Have they not practiced incitement to hatred? Or is that something that can only be perpetrated by non-Muslims?
Eamonn Burgess, a former city councillor and member of the Anti Nazi League (ANL), who have opposed campaigning by the BNP in Norfolk, said the pastor was misguided...."Like Islam, the organised spread of the Christian faith was also carried out by brute force. Let the religion who has not sinned cast the first stone."
That is demonstrably false, but I suspect that would make little difference to Eamonn Burgess.

Dont you just love the "bleeding hearts"..."incitement to racial hatred"....she obviously has never been to the Middle East, or Saudi Arabia.
What about the "incitement to hatred" every day by Muslim Mullahs, and "incitement to Kill" and "incitement to Bomb" infidels keep on preaching??
Oh sorry thats because this is 'incited" towards non Muslim infidels....silly me....
Anne Martin and her kind just like to feel good, these statements make them feel good, I say Good on you Rev Clifford...Its about time some one on the "Christian" side of things started to tell the truth.
Anne Martin......? Isn't there a gay whale she should be rescuing or a tree she should be hugging??

I notice we have a LOT of items from the Ummah Kingdom these days, both pro- and anti-Islam. Seems like things are finally starting to heat up a bit on this side of the Atlantic, too. Good. And not a moment too soon. The longer we wait, the bigger the trouble for Europe.

Finally someone from the Christian community speaks the truth about"Islam".
"The only antidote to this evil religion is the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ."
"Anyone who knows anything about the history of Islam knows it has devastated large parts of the world through the force of violence and the power of the sword."

The Reverend Alan Clifford IS a christian. He knows evil when he sees it.

Once again, Islam is not a race.

GOOD ON YOU,REV! You'll telling it like is not like that Dhmmi Dimwit Bob who's afraid of offending Muslims. Just wish there was more of you
out there - there probably is, muzzled by fear of being thought 'racist' or not PC. Islam has got nothing to do with being racist but everything to do with ideology. Muslims have cleverly played the
'race' card on Protesters to shut them up.Yes, things are hotting up in the wilds of Norwich as our brave Rev Clifford takes on the forces of Al Margarine and Muslim Council - bit like Daniel in the Lions' Den really...

Good for Dr. Clifford. Unfortunately he probably will be silenced forever because of Britain's hate laws. The cradle of American culture is slowly slipping into darkness.
This is a cautionary tale and should be an object lesson for America.

Every time that we come across someone like Dr Clifford, why don't we contact him and bring him onside in our fight against Islam.
What he needs is support from others, who think that same way that he does.

The latest on this is that Dr. Clifford is now being "investigated" by the UK police! I think we should all write him letters/emails of support. I found an address and an email addy here:

The RoPers will probably bomb his church; brave man.

IF he is arrested and tried, then we no longer live in a democracy, as far as Islam is concerned.
Yes, in other respects we live in a democracy, but not when it comes to Islam.
We must get our democracy back.

To Rev Alan Clifford:
Home!
Bonar, "The Night of Weeping"
Afflictions are preparing for us a "more
abundant entrance," a weightier crown,
a whiter robe, a sweeter rest, a home
made doubly precious by a long exile
and many sufferings here below.
However desperate our earthly warfare may
be, it is not forever. No, it is brief, very brief.
Its end is near, very near. And with the end
come triumph, and honor, and songs of victory.
Then, too, there follows peace, and the return
of the war worn soldier to his quiet dwelling.
This is the joy of the saint. He has fought a
good fight, he has finished the course, he has
kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for
him the crown of righteousness. His battle is
over, and then for him there are rest and home.
Home!
Yes, home! And what a home for us
to return to and abide in forever!
A home prepared before the foundation of the world.
A home in the many mansions.
A home nearest the throne and heart of God.
A home whose peace shall never be
broken by the sound of war or tempest.
A home whose brightness shall never be
overcast by the remotest shadow of a cloud.
How solacing to the weary spirit to think of
a resting place so near to God, and that resting
place our Father's house where we shall hunger
no more, neither thirst any more, where the sun
shall not scorch us, nor any heat, where the
Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall
feed us and lead us to living fountains of
waters, and God Himself shall wipe away
all tears from our eyes!
The time is at hand.
The conflicts are almost over.
Our struggles and sorrows are nearly done.
A few more years, and we shall either be laid
quietly to rest, or caught up into the clouds to
meet our coming Lord.
A few more deaths, and then we shall be
knit together in eternal brotherhood with
all the scattered members of God's family.
A few more suns shall rise and set, and then we
shall ascend in the strength of the one unsetting sun.
A few more days shall dawn and darken, and
then shall shine forth the one unending day.
A few more clouds shall gather over us, and
then the world shall be cleared forever.
But a few brief years, and we shall
enter in through the gates into the city,
sitting down beneath the shadow of the
tree of life, feeding upon the hidden
manna, and drinking of the pure river
clear as crystal, which proceeds out of
the throne of God and of the Lamb!
But a few brief years and we shall
see His face, and His name shall be
upon our foreheads!
We have only the foretaste now. The full
brightness is in reserve, and we know that
all that is possible or conceivable of what
is good and fair and blessed, shall one day
be real and visible.
Out of all evil there comes the good;
out of sin comes holiness;
out of darkness, light;
out of death, life eternal;
out of weakness, strength;
out of the fading, the blooming;
out of rottenness and ruin,
loveliness and majesty;
out of the curse come the blessing,
the incorruptible, the immortal,
the glorious, the undefiled!
Our present portion, however, is but the
pledge, not the inheritance. The inheritance
is reserved for the appearing of the Lord.
Here we see but through a glass darkly.
It does not yet appear what we shall be.
We are now but as wayfaring men, wandering
in the lonely night, who see dimly upon the
distant mountain peak the reflection of a sun
that never rises here, but which shall never
set in the "new heavens" hereafter.
And this is enough. It comforts and
cheers us on our dark and rugged way.
It would not be enough hereafter, but
it is enough just now.
This wilderness will do for us until we
cross into Canaan. The tent will do until
the eternal city comes.
The joy of believing is enough,
until we enter on the joy of seeing.
We are content with the "mountain of myrrh,
and the hill of frankincense," until "the day
breaks and the shadows flee away."
Home!
............
To "ALL" unrepentant Muslims and other unrepentant diverse sinners:
Lost, lost, lost! and lost for nothing!
Spurgeon, "The Soul's Crisis" #906. Luke 18:37.
What is it to be lost?
To be cast away from the presence
of God, to be cast into hell, to have
to suffer, and that forever, all that
the justice of God can demand, all
that the omnipotence of God can inflict.
Why, sirs, if I have but a headache,
or a toothache for one brief hour, my
patience can scarcely endure the torture.
What must it be to suffer such pains for a
century? Man, I cannot guess what it must be!
What must it be to have ten thousand times
worse pains than these for ever and ever?
But all the pangs and pains from which
men suffer here are nothing to be compared
with the woes and mental anguish of the
world to come.
Oh, the agony of a spirit doomed, forlorn,
accursed, upon which God shall put his foot in
awful wrath and lift it up no more for ever!
And there, as you lie, tormented to the quick,
you will have this to be your miserable portion:
I heard the gospel, but I would not heed it;
Christ was put before me, but I would not
acknowledge him; I was entreated to believe
in his name and fly to him for salvation, but
I hesitated, hung in suspense, demurred, and
at length denied him.
And all for what?
For a little drink, a little dance, a little sin
that yielded me but slight pleasure, or for
worldly gain, or for low and groveling vices,
or for sheer carelessness and gaiety!
Lost, lost, lost! and lost for nothing!
A sinner damned! He lost his soul, but
he did not gain the world. He gained
only a little frivolous pleasure, even
that poor pittance he spent in an hour,
and then he was forever cast away!
There is a time, we know not when,
A point we know not where,
That marks the destiny of men,
To glory or despair.
There is a line, by us unseen,
That crosses every path;
The hidden boundary between
God's patience and his wrath.
To pass that limit is to die,
To die, as if by stealth:
It does not quench the beaming eye,
Or pale the glow of health.
The conscience may be still at ease,
The spirits light and gay;
That which is pleasing still may please,
And care be thrust away.
But on that forehead God has set
Indelibly a mark,
Unseen by man; for man as yet
Is blind and in the dark.
And yet the doomed man's path below,
Like Eden, may have bloomed;
He did not, does not, will not know,
Or feel that he is doomed.
He knows, he feels, that all is well,
And every fear is calmed;
He lives, he dies, he wakes in hell,
Not only doomed but damned.
O where is your mysterious line,
By which our path is crossed,
Beyond which God himself has sworn,
That he who goes is lost?
How far may we go on in sin?
How long will God forbear?
Where does hope end? and where begin
The confines of despair?
An answer from the skies is sent-
'You that from God depart,
While it is called today, Repent!
And harden not your heart.'

Well done and massive respect to Dr.Clifford to have the good-sense and the coursge to speak out against the death-cult, people will listen to a man of his stature.
All I have to say about the other 2 people mentioned in the above article, whose names I refuse to type as that would be acknowledging them as someone worth noting, is that their retaliating staements do absolutely nothing to conflict or disprove the staements of Dr.Clifford.
As always the PC police have zilch evidence to back up their meaningless tripe.

My greatest respects to Rev. Clifford. He tells it as it is.
Islam has killed many innocent victims over the years. History shows that 80-million Hindus alone have been murdered in the name of Allah, The murder is not only for non-Islamics. The following url reports on the number of school children who were thrown back into a burning building, because they did not have the correct attire: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1874471.stm
This is by no means an isolated incident. In Palestine, last year, there were 450 documented honour killings. Any religion that supports murder, is the product of a satanic mind.

amen to aseity's post!
the only sure defense against islam is the Lord Jesus Christ!
that he died for our sins, was buried and rose again!
surely He is mighty to save yet still, and will one day return to rid the world of islam along with its western allies.
