Pork has been removed from the menu altogether. Are Muslims the only inmates?
Also, I was just wondering: if the situation were reversed, would Abu Hamza extend the same courtesy to non-Muslim prisoners? Let's see. He is the man who has said: "Bin Laden is a good guy. Everyone likes him in the Muslim world, there is nothing wrong with the man and his beliefs." And: "If a kafir person (non-believer) goes in a Muslim country, he is like a cow. Anybody can take him. That is the Islamic law. . . . If a kafir is walking by and you catch him, he’s booty. You can sell him in the market. Most of them are spies. And even if they don’t do anything, if Muslims cannot take them and sell them in the market, you just kill them. It’s OK." (That last one was from an Ottawa Citizen piece that is not online.)

British prison officials have issued a written apology to suspected Muslim terrorist Abu Hamza and others for offering pork as a prison dinner, The Sun reports.Prison governor Geoff Hughes sent a letter of apology to all inmates, saying the mistake should never have happened.
Spicy pork chops were described as suitable for Halal diets. Clearly that is nonsense, he wrote.
A prison worker told the newspaper Hamza was livid the Muslim dietary code was ignored.
"The Muslims saw it as some sort of planned insult to their religion but that's crazy. It was just a mistake," he said.
Hughes ordered pork be removed entirely from the prison's meal offerings.

Boy, the world is a sick, sick place. Europe is in some ways weaker today than it has been at any point since the early Middle Ages. Let's hope she can rediscover her spine. That is, if she's still got one....

This is surreal and ridiculous!!!!! Hamza, aka Captain Hook, has no right to set standards in a British prison. Obviously the prison system has been dhimmi-ized. Recall the guard that was fired for throwing keys at a poster bearing the picture of Bin Laden. What next? The payment of the jizayah to prisoners?

Islamic chronicles often feature typical story-endings reserved for bad guys: '... and was devoured by dogs'. May Hamza be eaten up by pigs some day.

So how about removing beef too. It is offensive to some. In fact force everyone in UK to be a vegan.
Maybe next Parliament proceedings can start off with Muslim prayers. And Blunkett might want to attend Friday mosque sermons.

This is a Monty Python bit of surrealism. I'm pretty sure that prison authorities were fully aware of Muslim abhorence of pork.
Besides, who knows what has been fed to the Muslims at Belmarsh. For instance, they are unlikely to know what the chips have been fried in. Muslims in Belmarsh prison, if they wish to go to paradise, should take the option and leave the UK, Hamza excepted, as he is wanted by the US.

Sounds like a bit of tabloid exaggeration to me. Maybe a mistake, maybe a practical joke. Doesn't change anything of substance.

The Brits are obviously shifting into total capitulation mode, but the prison worker who said it was "crazy" that the Muslims saw the pork on the menu as "a planned insult to their religion" is not yet expert in the art of boot-licking. Keep practicing.
